So I was rewatching the hbomb plagiarism video to get some chill morning embroidery time in and I got to the bit about Radclyff Hall and her book, The Well of Loneliness, about lesbian WW1 ambulance drivers, and the video says all of her books were ordered burned, but I was curious and fam. At least one person hid their copy. It's on Project Gutenberg Australia. So if you want to read about lesbian ambulance drivers in the first world war...

With all the plantsims on the dash recently, I figured it's high time I finally release these badboys. They have been sitting, more or less complete, since about 2021. Unlike my last mushroom cap, this set has 0 original meshes. All 8 mushroom cap shapes have been ripped from in-game objects. Yes, there are 8 shapes!

They are found on the hat slot ONLY, and are available for all ages, infant-elder. There are 53 swatches per cap, all modified EA textures. Each cap has a normal and glow variant, which will slowly pulse a friendly warm light. Infant through child ages have only 1 tilt option, because EA only provided 1 shape of hat chop for those ages. Teen and up have 2 tilt options per cap: one that lies fairly flat, and one that tilts back much more noticeably.

They come in one big merged package only. Custom thumbnails for all ages and genders. Shouldn't be enabled for random, but I have no idea anymore.

This is a hefty pack of ~80 CAS parts. Everything is fairly low poly and has all LODs, but you've been warned.

FOURTEENTH FUNGUARY SILLY based on bleeding tooth fungus!!!

this is Soni (pronounced SAW-nee) (any pronouns, he/him preferred)! He was a regular northern highland slugcat until he was modified by Drowned Out Cry to be a slimecat "hybrid."

Something about slimecats and their hybrids is that they can only properly hybridize (form "true hybrids") with similar species such as rot or dark lichen.

Meanwhile, Soni is a "false hybrid;" since his original species isn't fully compatible with slimecat stuff, he has distinct slimecat patches instead of being an even mix. Since slimecats technically never stop growing, a false hybrid's patches won't either; eventually, Soni will be 100% slimecat (but still 100% Soni).

Sometimes it can be difficult to identify whether a slimecat hybrid is a true or false one. A simple method is to see if their slimepups are also hybrids; if so, it's a true hybrid. If the pups are just regular slimepups, then their parent is a false hybrid.

True slimecat hybrids can occur naturally or be made artificially (natural ones usually happen from pups living around and absorbing stuff like rot). False hybrids are always artificially made.

it’s super funny that so many of the pixies are the exact same (aside from HP and Sanderson) but like, these guys are super different. currently working on their own anti-pixies cause MAN I’m so normal about pixies definitely wasn’t rewatching every single episode/special with pixies and giggling every time they appear especially Sanderson

Thinkin more on the Xeno au and about the family. And mostly about what everyone would be. Like of course they'd start out as chestburster-esque with more flesh-colored exoskeleton that'd be really soft like skin and mostly only a long tail. And then grow into other things, but there's several castes that even basic runners and drones can grow into.

Random fun facts & rabmbles:

Tusked were, well, tusked xenomorphs specifically bred by yautja to act as forced attack dogs, and the ones we know who were released and escaped were accepted by a queen as her own

Alpha warriors are canon and are slightly larger than other warriors, can command other warriors, and in some cases are more intelligent too. They're almost between warrior and praetorian in ranking.

The praetorian caste is also known as royal guards, because that's what they are in most cases. They protect the nest and eggs and queen, and if the queen dies they may replace the queen.

Canonically there was a comic where Batman fought against a giant crocodile alien (no it didn't come from Killer Croc thankfully lol) that he defeated by bleeding it out until the floor collapsed into lava

The xenomorphs have had a civil war before on their home planet for the Royal Jelly, the black xenomorphs and red xenomorphs both fighting each other for their queen to become the next Queen Mother

Did you know there's further castes beyond the queen? A queen can become a Matriarch, then an Empress, and then a Queen Mother

Crushers are the equivalent of praetorians for the runner castes, and are canonically the most armored outside the queen castes themselves.

There's a theory about the spines on the xenomorphs' backs, where the longer they are the stronger the xenomorph, at least for basic castes. However there's another theory that this is an age thing. Neither is confirmed.

Did you know that xenomorphs have worked with others several different times when they're under threat, especially the queens or young.

Xenomorphs have Eidetic memory, and can even access memories from previous xenomorphs along their bloodline.

Normal xenomorphs can eventually become queens, but a xenomorph can be born as one from a Royal Facehugger, which unlike normal facehuggers have two embryo: a queen and a drone/runner to protect said queen

There have been exotic xenomorphs that are individuals such as the tusked or the winged queens, usually altered genetically or with an incredibly rare host (for example a winged queen has canonically come from a vampire in the comics before)

All xenomorphs are female, save for a single individual created using human dna and other genetic manipulation that was known as the king xenomorph.

Other genetic hybrids have been created as well, the most well known being the Newborn but there have been more balanced ones as well such as Eloise (a vat-grown android-xeno hybrid) which can have abilties of both species

Fun fact: A chestburster will not emerge in someone with leprosy, staying dormant, and other xenomorphs will not attack the people due to them carrying said chestburster.

Yautja hunting parties will hunt hybrids more enthusiastically than normal base xenomorphs for both the challenge and in some cases thinking they're abominations, such as a Predalien (in which case elders are usually the one to hunt them)

However they will also use xenomorphs as mounts, attack dogs, and other such things. For example one yautja rode a xeno-rex in ancient times as a hunting steed.

What's Nymrod and Raphael's relationship like? Feel like there's much to speculate from the glimpse in your recent comic

Ahh yeah, so it's not exactly a realistic or healthy dynamic. Nymrod is purely pet to him at first, romantic and sexual tension only happened with some time afterwards, which is still evolving. (He purchases Nymrod from another devil a few years before the events in bg3, timelines with DIA are a bit messy so I won't comment on that.)

Raphael views Nymrod as someone he OWNS, he's quite literally property to him, but he also views him as a person he can converse with and trust..

Unlike his staff, which he beats and abuses both verbally and physically (or psychologically) Nymrod gets favored treatment. This doesn't mean he's infallible to Raphael's wrath, he simply has never done anything to give Raphael a reason to hurt him.

Suppose if you have a pet you truly favor, you'd rather keep it close for comfort than to scar it, yes? Well.. Then there's also the fact that he's a devil, even as a half-devil I don't think 2000+ years being Mephistopheles' (disgruntled) nepobaby would make you view life the same way a regular mortal character would. If anything, I was personally surprised by how violent he apparently is revealed to be once you enter the house of hope in comparison to his romanticism in your first three+ encounters with him in the game. Then again, his debtors and staff have probably given him reason to hurt them. (I don't remember if Korilla is amongst those who get abused, let me know?)

So in short, Nymrod is a favored pet who has the potential to become more than a pet. Raphael is definitely getting a bit attached to the twink disaster of a ''tiefling'' he is.

As for how Nymrod feels about him, I wouldn't say ''stockholm syndrome,'' He's been through a lot and by the time he's living comfortably in House of Hope he's long since developed romantic feelings for him. In Nym's eyes, Raphael is his savior not his owner. This is why I say it isn't exactly a healthy dynamic, haha. He also doesn't refer to him as master, which is a privilege granted that Raphael is fine with.

Otherwise do know they're both BRATS who match their freak. Nymrod looks cute but he's.. Uh, not a good person. He wasn't a good person long before got where he got.

Raphael (cambion form) Is much taller / more buff than his human form, so.. Nymrod just looks tiny here.

my Creatures. my Beloved Creatures. I’m not good at watercolor but I wanted to paint my Beloved Creatures

^ this (poorly drawn) fella right here is a jerbomb! I Very briefly mentioned them during a long tag ramble so I’ll go over them again in more detail bc I adore them. Appearance-wise, they’re basically just jerboas, but they’re functional land mines. Predictably, they’re not naturally occurring—they’re genetically engineered jerboas that were (originally) used as weapons. Also as you can see they don’t have arms, just particularly strong legs (longer than a normal jerboa’s) and claws that they use to burrow. Lacking mouths, they get their nutrients through sniffing stuff up through their big ol’ noses and absorbing the nutrients through their respiratory system. Does that make biological sense, no. but they’re exploding rodents so idk suspend your disbelief just a little. They’re a lot more fuzzy than what’s shown here but I liked the muted pink and yellow color scheme and didn’t want to cover it up with a bunch of fur so idk this can be a hairless jerbomb. Heartbreakingly their population is scarce because their very existence was essentially for them to be suicide bombers but DONT WORRY before too many of them died off, sushi rescued and domesticated them so they’re living their best life!!! even though they’ll eventually go extinct as they can’t breed!!
