Produce X 101 vs YG Trainees

why do I feel that even from the very start of Produce X 101, Gunho and Mahiro doesn’t stand the chance of winning. I mean I love them, they’re talented and adorable but, I can sense that the mentors are bias and it’s like the show already pick certain boys they want to highlight to win. Honestly IDK the show is just starting but ugh Mnet... poor Mahiro and Gunho.

clanmew reminds me of the language used in watership down, with words for things rabbits would need to say (been a while since i read that book so, i don't remember if it has a name). Were you inspired by that or is it just coincidental ?

Frithaes! Lmao yeah I was really into Lapine a few years ago. A couple of things were inspired and there are other things that are interesting quirks.

The biggest reason why you're probably seeing similarities is because Clanmew and Lapine are both inspired by Welsh. We didn't reference Lapine ITSELF for Clanmew but I was inspired by the 'feeling' of Welsh when deciding the phonetics, so the two conlangs share an ancestor.

Tribemew having a modern and old form WAS actually directly inspired by Naylte Hyao and Naylte Ean. Lapine has two forms, one that exists in everyday speech and one kept alive through storytelling. That's Modern and Classic Tribemew.

Patreon 2022

Start of a new year and a new month, and I have a list of some new Patreons I'll check out. That however got me interested in updating the list of what Patreons my Patreon followers follows. The big change from last time are a lot of games supported, mostly thanks to one supporter that supported about 60 different Patreons in total. The Ramose Kingdom so far

King Jentu (he/they) and Queen Zesiro (she/they). Both are gentwo imps but in lore they're both descended from power families of imperials. Jentu is the king of the forgotten Ramose Kingdom. He's the brother of Goshawk, one of the heads of the Lampsi Emperor.

The royal twins, Ariel (she/her) and Vander (they/them). They are the first nest from Jentu and Zesiro. Ariel is the heir of the family, but her twin isn't too mad about it. Both are pure gen3 imps

Hyaorooliti (he/him) and Frithtafo (they/them). Both I got from @transtundras-fr

Hyaorooliti is a magical technician that specializes in HRT. Frithtafo is a child of transtundras' progens. Frith was super to move into my main clan, Ton Theon, with Hyao guiding them, but they took a wrong turn into the Hewn City and now they've found themselves in Ramose.

Romeo a child from @nyaseoki 's progens. Romeo is still a bit of a blank slate but I'll come up with something eventually.

Tidepool (ae/aer) a pure gen3 imp I got from @/transtundas-fr. Again a bit of a blank slate at the moment but I will most likely pair aer with Ariel in the future.

I've played all of those but kingsguard and after years. I eventually want to make a VN rpg myself in the style of lustful desires and tavern of spear. (Without most of the lewdness. I'm moving talking about traveling thw world map and fighting things.) Also I got to say that echo is my favorite VN. It was like, 2nd or 3rd vn I've seen since being a furry lol (first one was morenatsu and the second I think was nekojishi.) Echo was something special cause I've never seen a horror furry vn before (Plus I watched an awesome youtuber play it. Shoutout to deckerlink now known as Vivian jade.) Plus I love intricate stories. Also, if you ever want to. Maybe we could talk theories and such for some of the mystery based vns off anon? I don't have anyone to talk about these things since no one else I know is into these;;;

MUSIK LO-FI, NEMENIN KAMU DISAAT GABUT

Kejangaran itu kerap kali terjadi tatkala di hari-hari suasana kantor yang stagnan. Deadline, kerjaan numpuk, serta ocehan bos yang membuat adrenalin merusuh, ingin kukulutus berkeluh kesah tapi sobat juga sibuk dengan kegiatan mereka masing-masing. Balik pulang ke rumah, mata terfokeus melihat kulkas tuk segera membuka pintu dinginnya, satu kaleng bir saja cukup, lalu beranjak menjatuhkan diri ke dalam empuknya kasur. Minta "Siri" (si virtual asisten dalam gawai iPhone, red) untuk memutar musik lo-fi di youtube. Pejamkan mata, padukan detakan jantung dengan beat drum pelan nan minimalis, melodi synthesizer yang repetitif, disertai sampling ocehan dialog potongan film yang dimasukan ke dalam musik membuat diri kembali ke dalam kedamaian dan ketenangan.

Giat di atas mungkin bisa aja mujarab buat nenangin diri setelah energi dan pikiran terkuras karena aktivitas sepanjang hari. Pilihan musik salah satunya lo-fi bisa jadi bala bantuan dan solusi merefresh pikiran kita. Kenapa lo-fi? apa sih lo-fi? for your information nih daks, lo-fi music adalah sebuah micro-genre atau sub-genre dari musik yang belakangan ini cukup digandrungi banyak orang di kanal YouTube. Kamu yang setiap hari rajin pantengin situs layanan streaming itu pasti cukup familiar dengan thumbnail yang kerap muncul dengan berlatarkan sebuah artwork cewe khas anime Hyao Myazaki sang kreator animasi Ghibli. Dari gambarnya saja, kita bisa lihat, si cewe 2 dimensi itu lagi nyantei dengerin musik pake headset sambil ngerjain tugas. Thumbnail dengan judul catchy seperti: "Lofi hip hop radio - beats to relax/study to" ngajak kita yang lagi gabut nih, penasaran buat klik tuh thumbnail dan wala, tanpa perlu cari musik lain, alunan musik minimalis dengan downtempo yang nge-khas itu akan terus menemani selama 24/7 live streaming sampai rasa damai hinggap di lubuk hati dan pikiran kita.

Sosok youtuber anonim dengan akun ChilledCow yang kini telah memiliki 1.900.000 subscribers di kanal YouTube ini, digadang-gadang bakal jadi orang pertama yang mempopulerkan mixtape musik lo-fi yang dimainkan selama 24 jam sehari. Tapi gak perlu heran juga saat sedang berselancar di YouTube, kita bakal nemuin video-video dengan gambar anime dan musik dengan cita rasa yang kurang lebih sama karena sudah banyak YouTuber lain yang mengikuti jejak ChilledCow.

Terus, apa itu lo-fi? Mengapa jenis musik satu ini bisa digandrungi kawula muda? Istilah lo-fi sendiri sebenernya sebuah jargon yang sudah ada sejak lama untuk menggambarkan sebuah produksi musik yang memiliki kualitas rekaman rendah, seperti penggunaan treble yang tinggi serta banyaknya noise yang terdengar. Sensasinya seperti mendengarkan suara saat sedang menelfon. Kira-kira seperti itulah kualitas rekaman yang disajikan musik lo-fi.

Kehadiran musik lo-fi sendiri sampai dengan saat ini masih jadi perdebatan yang seru untuk disimak. Terutama tentang siapa sosok yang paling menginspirasi dalam pembuatan music lo-fi. Di forum Reddit ada diskusi seru yang membahas asal mula kehadiran lo-fi. Dari hasil diskusi tersebut juga banyak yang berpendapat musisi seperti Nujabes dan J.Dilla adalah Godfathers dari musik lo-fi yang akhirnya bisa melahirkan music lo-fi saat ini. Sementara musisi seperti BSD.U, Nohidea, Eevee, hingga Jinsang adalah pionir dibalik kepopuleran lo-fi.

Namun melonjaknya nama lo-fi di kalangan penikmat musik tidak bisa dilepaskan dari kehadiran layanan live streaming dari YouTube.  Hal tersebut sempat disampaikan oleh Ryan Celsius, seorang DJ yang memainkan musik lo-fi dan juga memamerkan karyanya di YouTube.

Dalam sebuah wawancara dengan Vice, Ryan menjelaskan bagaimana dirinya beralih ke YouTube untuk memamerkan karya-karyanya setelah berurusan dengan masalah pelanggaran hak cipta di layanan streaming raksasa, Twitch. Ryan yang kini memiliki 143 ribu subscribers dalam kesempatan yang sama juga menceritakan bagaimana jenis musik seperti itu bisa banyak digandrungi.

Menurut Ryan, kebangkitan skena musik lo-fi tidak bisa lepas dari perasaan nostalgia masa kecil saat program-program Adult Swim dan Toonami mengudara di Cartoon Network.  Di mana Adult Swim yang kerap menggunakan beat kalem nan menenangkan sebagai bumper dan Toonami yang mengenalkan kartun-kartun Jepang. Jika disimpulkan dari pernyataan DJ YouTube tersebut, musik lo-fi bisa jadi adalah perpaduan dari tayangan Adult Swim dan Toonami yang menjawab kerinduan anak-anak tahun 90-an sehingga popularitasnya kini terus meroket.

Di balik rasa tenang yang ditawarkan oleh musik lo-fi ternyata juga ada euforia masa lalu yang mengikuti. Pantas saja musik satu ini banyak digemari dan selalu pas untuk dijadikan teman untuk menyejukkan hati.

You Can’t Find My House

I just got off the phone with mom, and we came to the realization that my family has lived in a series of unplottable houses for a couple generations now.

-The First Unplottable House is on my dad’s side of the family, in Delphi, Iowa.  The directions to it are the stuff of Buried Treasure:  Turn off the county road with a fraction in it’s name, to the Named Dirt Road, then turn at The Discount Eggs Sign on to the Unnamed dirt road that takes a meandering path THROUGH a corn field, DO NOT take any forks on that road or the farmer will shoot your ass, then take the paved road that dead-ends on ALL the way to the end- No, farther, the road keeps going it’s not a cliff-The only indication that You Have Arrived At The Correct Driveway is that a fat gray pony will charge the car, screaming, then escort you the rest of the way there.

It’s on the side of an enormous river, they’ve owned the property since 1911, and that’s the ONLY route there.

-The Second Unplottable house is in Bedford, Ohio and belonged to my mother’s parents.  It’s at the corner of two side-streets, right across from the tiny Italian grocery store.  Due to strange development decisions, the house is about 30 feet above street level and rendered invisible by a chestnut tree so majestic Hyao Myazaki would probably put it in a movie.  The driveway, however, is VERY visible from any of the surrounding houses, the grocer, or the street.  

At least in theory and old photos, becuase if you actually GO there,  your eyes slide right past it to the neighbor’s lillac bush, or to the retro neons of the grocery store or up the Chestnut tree.  it is literally HARD to look at that driveway, all the world around it wants to pull you away.

-The Third Unplottable house is in Salinas, CA, home of my paternal grandparents.  It is the single most BORING house possible- like, if you were to ask a third-grader to draw a prototypical house, they would draw my grandparent’s house.  Utterly Unremarkable. 

Except for the part where my Grandfather, spurred by his success with the “non-fruiting” peach tree, decided to plant a California Redwood Tree, and it grew to approximately 150 feet over the course of a few short decades.  It is the tallest damn thing for miles around, and SOMEHOW deliveries keep being missed, mail is delivered to the neighbors, and any non-blood family that tried to visit would end up on the other side of town.

-The Fourth Unplottable House was the one I grew up in CA.  The Directions to it are as follows:  It’s the Bright Orange house Right Across From The School.  You know, the one with six flamingos and the Volunteer Avacado Tree.

SOMEHOW, we got everyone’s mail but OURS (we still wonder about the letter from Fort Knox for Mr. Thomas Saxophone), the other kids got lost trying to visit and ended up in Mr.Phan’s yard on the other end of the block.  Officer Brown, Mom and Dad’s friend, who had GPS back in the early 90′s becuase silicon valley, regularly got lost looking for our place.  The Flamingos did nothing.

-My parent’s current house is the second house on the right  after two right turns off the state highway that runs through town.  Sounds easy, right?  

Except that due to a couple small trees and a bend in the road, the house is invisible from the road.  I have to stand out in the road if i want my pizza delivered.  The Mailman is the only person who could reliably find the box, but he drives a subaru that’s older than my sister from the passenger side by leaning over, and delivers mail based on the aztec lunar calendar, so he’s probably not actually human.  I tried to host a party, tied rainbow balloons to the mailbox, and all nine friends had to be waved in from the street.

-My current apartment building Does Not Exist, according to my Bank, medicaid, Google, and City Hall which was a bit exciting when I first moved in and had to call everyone that yes, I was sitting in a building that really exists.   

Unless it’s my classmates, becuase they can apparently come to parties I don’t host. This Friday I had a friend telling me she had a great time at my place last Teusday... when I was home alone.  She assures me that I held a houseparty with “Those polish things you make” (I make great mini klatchky, but haven’t served them to her) and that “You were definitely there, we talked about Carvaggio and you drive me home”
