I'm a bit late but here's my piece for the @hws-anthology!!

It was the most beautiful room Link had ever seen.

Link could hear the other soldiers conversing about the room, but it was hard to focus on their words. All of his attention was captured by the treasure trove before him. He stepped further into the room and stared in awe at the glory before him.

The conversation behind him quieted. General Impa stepped up and touched his arm. "Captain. Link. Are you all right? What's wrong?"

What was wrong? Wrong? How could anything be wrong with this before them?

"I'm fine, General," Link said absently. The more he looked, the more he found. It was amazing! "Everything is fine."

Everything was fantastic.

"Link," Impa said, and the amount of concern in her voice struck Link as odd but not of immediate importance. Not compared to this glorious room.

"General Impa," Lana said, and when had she joined them? "It's okay. I know what the problem is. Link, did you want to call the boys? I'm sure they wouldn't want to miss this."

Link lit up. How could he have forgotten them? They would love this! Before Impa could manage more than a frustrated protest, Link threw his head back and shouted at the top of his lungs, "Boys!"

Impa was arguing with Lana about something behind him, but more importantly, Link heard the familiar rumble of Tune's and Mask's running steps. They knew to book it when they heard that tone from Link. Link forced himself to wait patiently even as everything inside him burned with the delightful desire to move.

"Captain!" Tune called, running up to Link. He reached Link first just because his legs were still longer than Mask's. "Captain, what's..." Tune reached Link and saw the room. His eyes widened. He stuttered to a stop. "Wrong?"

"Hey!" Mask burst out, sprinting to their sides. "What the hell?"

Link caught the exact moment that Mask saw the treasure trove. The boy gasped and grabbed Link's arm.

Beaming, Link grabbed the hilt of his sword. His boys immediately did the same. "All ours, kiddos."

Mask was too awestruck to even care about the nickname. Impa threw up her hands. "It is just a room of pots!"

The trio didn't hear her. Lana sighed and shrugged. "It's a hero thing."

The countless pots shimmered before them. The trio whipped out their blades. With wild war cries, they charged.

"They're pots," Impa repeated, baffled, and then had to dodge a flying ceramic shard.

so far I only have enough energy and time for sketches... I drew my hetalia OTPs as characters from the cartoon "Flushed Away" :D

AusSwiss goes so hard, even more from Austria's P.O.V because what do you mean you betrayed the first and only friend you had, proceeded to turn into one of the greatest empires and create a Facade so different from the little boy you were (and still are deep inside) which only made Switzerland feel more alienated to the person you now pretend to be.

Yet even with all that and knowing you have a big part of the blame for the way your relationship with Switzerland just rotted in the worst way possible, you kept pinning for thousands of years and use excuses like randomly going to a supermarket you knew Switzerland frequents only to have a chance to see him again.

You then try to play the elegant, well off gentleman to show him you're finally a capable, well put together man, ah but the mask cracks a little when you see Switzerland showing that characteristic and well hidden kindness of his to someone else and wish for that to be your place once more, because only by sharing a meal together you're both going crazy over the unsaid things that wished to be let out.

I love them so much it makes me SICK.
