It's the 9th of April here, which means that it's Dongsung's birthday! Hooray 🎉

As always I made the collage dedicated to him 😄

Uhm...look I tried to find a baby picture of him but maybe I don't know how to do researchs anymore because I didn't find it. I really hope he just didn't post any baby pics or I should call myself clown at this point 🤡 I apologize for the lack of funny pictures too. But I gave you the gym pictures! :D

Enough rambling about the collage, it's time for the letter now.

I think this the first time since I started writing these letters that I'll talk about second chances. I mean, if you've been a N.fia for a while you probably know that Dongsung wasn't there since the beginning and that he joined the band very recently (compared to the other members of course). And probably you already know that he wasn't a freshman bassist but he was into a band called HONEYST, a band that sadly disbanded not even after two years.

Now, probably I'm exaggerating a little but seeing how this industry is cruel when a not well known group disbands, you can only imagine what happens when this happens to a k-band under an entertainment company. So, I always saw Dongsung joining N.Flying as one if not the greatest second chances ever happened to a musician. Now time has passed, I learned and discovered more stories about idols or musicians who got a second chance in this industry but Dongsung's story will always be stuck in my heart and will be the dearest to me.

I admit that his story and his presence has also been a sort of comfort for me when I joined the fandom. Now I'm much more chill and if I want to join a fandom or stan a group who's been into the industry for more than five years, I do it without any problems, but I still clearly remember how I was feeling goofy and out of the loop when I joined N.Fias or any very old fandom. Believe me, I reread the tags on my old reblogs, I was much more quieter and calm. I was always scared to say something stupid because I didn't know the context of some GIFs I was reblogging so I always just said something nice and leave. And then Dongsung came.

Seeing Dongsung vibing with the members, participating in every activities with them like he's been there since the beginning, how immediately he gained a connection with them everytime they performed, all of this made me more calm for sure. Someone might say that he was "advantaged" because N.Flying have always been a welcoming family since Hweseung joined the band or because he was Hun's friend but I don't think so. It's not simple gaining a connection with your members when you came "late" musically speaking, you need to understand their style and how they play before gaining it, which might take much time. And despite that, Dongsung managed to understand N.Flying style in a very short amount of time and immediately made that connection.

And of course how can I not talk about how he literally had a rivalry with Hweseung? I still laugh about how Dongsung was literally using his maknae position in front of Hweseung and making him sulking. And I love how after a while they built a wonderful relationship who made then almost inseparable.

Another reason why I love him is how I resonated with him during my first days in the fandom. The way he's always shy but then immediately gains confidence and shows his cute, soft side made me think a lot. If he could show that side, why not trying something similar? I changed my mindset thanks for that, If now I'm much more open in the tags is thanks to him.

My dear Dongsung, it's been three years already since you joined this wonderful, funny and chaotic family also known as N.Flying and I can tell you that you did so much already for the band in this short amount of time. Thank you so much for helping me being open and showing much more my true self when I want to express my love for artists that I would support until the end.

I hope you'll spend this day amazingly with the members and your family. Remember that N.Fias are always by your side.

③ "Seunghyub, a Remarkable Leader · Admiration" N.Flying's Genuine Love and Romance

Praise for the members is endless, and their perfectly synchronized teamwork knows no bounds. The unique bond among N.Flying members, seen in YouTube content, shines brightly even in interview settings. While Seunghyub may appear slightly reserved and shy alone, once with the members, he becomes a complete chatterbox, and together they are so hilariously funny that they could rival professional comedians. Even with just three members together, they bring so much joy; imagining the full five-member group flying around is both exciting and highly anticipated.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Joy News 24 highlighted N.Flying's most dynamic activities this year while eagerly anticipating the full group's activities next year. Seunghyub, Cha Hun, and Hweseung, the trusted-listen band of N.Flying, recently conducted an interview at the FNC headquarters. The youngest member playing bass, Seo Dongsung, completed his military service on November 7th, and drummer Kim Jaehyun is set to be discharged in February next year. Cha Hun, who returned in September after completing military service, has been actively engaging with the public through various festivals and tours in Japan alongside Seunghyub and Hweseung. Currently leading the band boom, N.Flying is considered a top-tier leader in the domestic music scene, receiving top priority invitations for major festivals and university events as a true mainstream band.

◇ Ultimately Ending in Praise, N.Flying's Intense Member Love

N.Flying is renowned as a band with exceptional vocal and instrumental skills, and overwhelming stage presence. However, even with their near-perfect abilities, live performances naturally entail minor mistakes. Especially, Seunghyub is known for turning lyric mistakes into amusing moments, often joking and laughing with fans, which has become a fun aspect of N.Flying's performances.

When asked about this, Seunghyub remarked, "Making noticeable mistakes can also be part of the performance. Unless it's a major mistake, fans enjoy it and find it funny in the moment. I think of these incidents as part of the experience." He added, "Of course, it shouldn't become too frequent. There's a difference between a mistake made by someone who is prepared and one made by someone who isn't. When you're in a prepared state and momentarily miss something due to enjoying the moment happily, the audience can also feel that emotion and laugh it off. But if you're not prepared and make a mistake, that can't happen. As long as it's not that, since I'm fully prepared, I can enjoy it enough."

He then quickly reflected, "Sometimes, even minor mistakes shouldn't happen. So, I'll strive harder."

On the other hand, Hweseung shared, "Even if others perceive it as a minor mistake, I've been influenced so much that after it's over, I wouldn't say a word in the car." He mentioned how he used to fall into despair when making mistakes in the past.

He explained, "I guess from the start with the hyungs, I wanted everything to be perfect. Especially joining as a new member, I wanted to quickly catch up with what the hyungs had been doing and show a harmonious appearance with them. So, I couldn't tolerate those minor mistakes. I tried hard, but in those moments, I regretted those mistakes continuously. That's why I couldn't take care of my mental health."

He continued, "The hyungs can tell just by looking at my expression, 'Oh, he's stuck in this again today.' In the car, they comfort me, saying, 'It's okay, it wasn't noticeable,' but it was like that for several years." He added, "I found myself trapped in a maze alone at home, and at some point, I realized I needed to grow up quickly and return to reality. Even if I keep dwelling on it, nothing will change, so it became 'Let's quickly move forward in a better direction.' And continuing to be trapped in anguish also meant taking away energy from the members, so I felt responsibility in that aspect too."

So he tried to find a way to quickly overcome mistakes. Hweseung added, "Instead of becoming numb to mistakes, these days when I make a mistake, it ignites a vengeance in me for the next time." He continued, "I remind myself a lot to burn brighter so that I can do better next time." Sitting beside him, Cha Hun looked fondly at his younger brother Hweseung with a smile.

Seunghyub chimed in, praising Hweseung's efforts, "He's really amazing. I've seen him in despair many times, and after every performance, it doesn't end there. He holds onto it for days, thinks a lot, and we talk to each other. Eventually, I realized that Hweseung's growth rate became so frighteningly fast."

He continued, "What I worry about is that there are many events and festivals, so I'm concerned about Hweseung's voice. The durability of vocal cords begins to wear out in your thirties, so we need to manage it well now to maintain this condition." He added, "That's why we discussed finding a direction, such as having other members play more, lowering the key, or turning the microphone to the fans. But Hweseung mentioned, 'I recently saw some seniors do something. If I learn the vocal techniques they use, I think I can solve that.'"

To this, Hweseung responded, "I'm researching something new right now. I want to receive what the seniors are doing and try to make it possible. So I'm currently experimenting with it," indicating his greater efforts and attempts as a vocalist.

Seunghyub then exclaimed, "Yesterday, during rehearsal, the sound changed a bit. I feel like the sound changes every time we practice." He marveled, "Normally, that doesn't happen. But I was so surprised at what he was thinking and living."

He continued, "MBC 'Song Stealer' senior Ha Dongkyun, SBS 'The Listen' seniors DK and Lee Hajun, and Park Hyoshin's musical 'The Man who Laughs' number—all these moments within the boundary are what I copy and show directly on stage," expressing his admiration for his younger brother. The interview room filled with Hweseung's cheerful laughter.

◇ "Always a Great Determination", "Proud Like My Own Child": N.Flying's Genuine Love

Naturally, the member praise session began. When asked when he relies on the members, Seunghyub responded, "Always. When I'm struggling, I naturally turn to the members." He continued, "In the life of making music moving forward, there may be lonely and difficult moments, but the members are always there for me."

Cha Hun recalled, "I can pinpoint it. It was on my birthday two years ago. I've lived as a very negative person from birth until now. We were all together at the time, and Seunghyub hyung said, 'Hun, take out the negativity and put in positivity.'" He added, "At first, I thought, 'How is that possible?' So I kept living in that state until Seunghyub hyung said the same thing again. That's when I thought, 'Let's give it a try,' and since then, my personality changed to one that tries to discard negativity and fill it with positivity," confessing how Seunghyub's advice became a turning point.

He went on, "If I didn't have the members, I wouldn't have had such thoughts or any changes." He expressed deep trust in the members, saying, "The reason I can resolve to change and believe in being able to change is because there are members I can rely on and treasure the most. It was the event that made me rely on the members and cherish them the most." Hearing this, Seunghyub jokingly remarked, "Even though I've been in this for 10 years, it's still awkward to hear such things," laughing cheerfully to lighten the mood.

Hweseung also shared similar emotions towards the members. He mentioned, "When I was struggling and made a phone call once, they all gathered together unreasonably," recalling a day when they unexpectedly gathered at his home. Seunghyub teased, "That's why I said it's awkward," adding humor to prevent the atmosphere from becoming too serious.

Hweseung continued, "Also, there are times when the hyungs play a central role in what they do. For example, when Hun hyung played a guitar solo with others at a joint concert or when he does something central alone, watching that gives me a feeling like 'raising a child well' inside." He expressed, "When our member shows something to the public that only I saw or something of their own, I feel pride vicariously, thinking 'This is genuine love.' It's so proud and proud that I think, 'Our member shouldn't be anyone else.'" He confessed his special love for the members.

In response to this, Seunghyub jokingly remarked, "How long will we be like this?" then directed to Cha Hun, "Try to remove some of the negativity," making everyone laugh again.

◇ Cha Hun, Hweseung's Description of True Leader Lee Seunghyub

The praise session that made Seunghyub feel awkward continued with highlighting "Lee Seunghyub's leadership." Hweseung commented, "It varies depending on the time, but what I feel is truly impressive these days, although I don't know exactly how much it is, isn't there something like brain capacity in people?" He continued, "The way hyung thinks about the members and our future feels like exceeding capacity."

He further said, "Yet, despite everything, what hasn't changed from the beginning to now is his saying 'I won't collapse,' 'I won't get tired.' It's really amazing to the point of being scary," expressing, "He even shows it in his results. That's why I always respect and think that this level is necessary to be a leader."

Cha Hun, who admitted, "I really don't trust people," added, "But when it comes to what Seunghyub hyung says and decides, I've never objected even once. He's someone who gives trust, and I feel that I can trust him," revealing, "I think this level of taking care of the members and having this level of leadership is what makes a leader."

However, this seriousness didn't last long. Shortly after, mixing past stories with jokes, Seunghyub said, "If we have something funny among ourselves, it becomes so cheesy that it's nothing special when we secretly whisper," and clarified, "It's not like that outside."

Hweseung also added, "I'm not like that either. When I appear on other programs, those who have seen me a lot as N.Flying would say, 'Hweseung, why are you so quiet?' or 'You're quieter than I thought.'" To this, Cha Hun quipped, "That's why I don't go outside," prompting Seunghyub to jokingly declare, "Everyone here has issues," causing laughter all around.

◇ Embracing a New Challenge… The Variety Show They Want is 'Jeon Cham Si'

Lee Seunghyub, following his appearances in tvN's 'Lovely Runner' and 'Love Next Door', is currently actively involved in filming the new drama 'Spring of the Four Seasons'. Yoo Hweseung successfully showcased his musical talents by leading the curtain call for the musical 'Next to Normal' in May. Cha Hun has also ventured into acting through a web drama.

Regarding his acting activities, Yoo Hweseung expressed, "I always have it in my heart and I ponder a lot. Nowadays, I want to take on new challenges." He mentioned, "I feel like I don't have much experience even within musicals. So, while I have many opportunities, I both desire to learn and grow within them and am fearful. It seems contradictory," he said, adding, "It's always fearful when facing new attempts. It's not yet time, but I'm preparing to face it. Someday, I want to try it, but there's also a fear of 'will I be afraid?'"

Cha Hun also remarked, "I always want to act. For now, I have a set schedule and there are many things I need to prepare for, so I haven't been able to receive lessons or audition after discharge. If I have time, I plan to receive lessons and audition."

Fans eagerly anticipate each member's turn in '승협캠프' (N.Flying's self-content), where expectations are high. Lee Seunghyub explained, "Actually, Hweseung and I planned to do 'Summer Seunghyub Camp' first. However, schedules overlapped with festivals and other events, preventing us from realizing our plans," expressing regret, he added, "'Director of 여승캠' also said, 'Isn't it only 여승캠 when all members are present?'"

So, are there any variety shows that N.Flying members want to appear in? Yoo Hweseung hinted eagerly, "There's a variety show I want to do with the members," mentioning MBC's 'Omniscient Interfering View'. 'Omniscient Interfering View' is one of the variety shows fans hope to see N.Flying appear on.

Cha Hun explained, "The chemistry among our members is great, but I also think the chemistry with those who join us is good," he said, adding, "I can't think of the right word, but I think it would be fun with a 'tit for tat' strategy against our managers."

Yoo Hweseung continued, "It's about chemistry, but there are still many things I don't know. I want to let viewers and many people know how much our managers are putting in for us," expressing, "Even though we can't see it, they wake up early every morning without weekends to tidy things up. I want to document and go out for that reason," expressing a special sentiment. Lee Seunghyub then added, "I want to capture Jin Young hyung (manager)'s crying face there. I think I might cry while doing an interview alone."

◇ "From Mark" and the Man with "Zero Immunity," Yoo Hweseung

N.Flying, known for their musical prowess and vocal abilities, is considered a top choice for various music programs. They've appeared prominently on KBS 'Immortal Songs' and MBC's 'King of Mask Singer', and recently showcased their overwhelming presence once again on MBC's 'Singer Stealer' and SBS's 'The Listen'. On 'Singer Stealer', they surprised everyone by selecting 'From Mark'.

Yoo Hweseung reflected, "When I first heard that song at the age of 20, I wasn't a singer. At that time, my spectrum might have been narrow, so I listened to delicate, pretty, and detailed sounds. However, 'From Mark' features delicate yet unrestrained vocalization and emotions. It was music I hadn't easily encountered before, so it was refreshing." He continued, "As I got absorbed in listening, I felt the intensity of the emotions there. Even when I searched for information about the song and album, it was all figurative expressions that didn't clearly explain it. I listened to it like solving a puzzle, not knowing exactly what it meant, but I received comfort from the emotions in the music."

He added, "So, interpreting it as 'Mark is where I want to go,' alone was charming. Of course, there must have been a fixed meaning, but the fun of interpreting and believing in the comfort I received from it as it is." He revealed, "When I first heard that song when I wasn't a singer, I eventually had the opportunity to perform on stage with a senior artist. With that feeling, I prepared to perform 'From Mark'."

Lee Seunghyub chimed in, "I (chose that song) and didn't like it very much. I thought that Hweseung would shine brightly on that stage, but I didn't know whether to choose that song. The production team was also very surprised, and silently thought, 'Are you going to do this?' The difficulty level was too high," he confessed honestly.

On November 10th, Yoo Hweseung's new song '미워하다, 그리워하고' will be released through music streaming sites as part of 'The Listen: Together Again'. He said, "I found out that the song was written by writers who were at the company, so I recorded it with pleasure." Self-proclaimed "man with zero immunity," Yoo Hweseung recalled his feelings during busking recordings, saying, "It was very cold. I'm weak against the cold, so I shivered a lot. Actually, I caught a cold right after the first shoot. After that, I immediately started wearing thermal underwear," reminiscing about the cold times.

◇ Youngest Member Discharged! N.Flying Gears Up as 4Flying

The youngest member, Seo Dong Sung, returns after completing military service on the 7th and joins the stage starting from the 'Hanwha Music Festival' in Gyeongju on the 8th. When asked to say a word to the youngest member, Lee Seunghyub remarked, "We talked just yesterday, and I think it could be both enjoyable and tough at times for you." He continued, "Come out and do your best at the things you haven't been able to do, and let's fight together for N.Flying until Jaehyun returns. Don't get tired and let's run hard for N.Fia."

Always putting their sincerity into music and stages, and deeply loving their members and N.Fia, N.Flying dreams of making music together until they're 80 years old. So what is N.Flying's 'romance'? Immediately answering the last question, Lee Seunghyub said, "N.F Village." He added, "I want to create a village unique to N.Flying, but when will that be possible?" He contemplated, "It feels like a romantic notion from the past." Hearing this, Cha Hun added, "I'm still here in N.F Village," giving strength to Lee Seunghyub's words. Yoo Hweseung also empathized with this sentiment.

"When all the members return, I want to tour overseas again and make many memories. My current romance is imagining the five of us back on stage. I don't know what emotions will come when that imagination becomes reality, but imagining that moment has been my strength while waiting for the two years for the members to return. This waiting itself feels romantic. I think I'm a romanticist. Haha. Standing on stage after the members return and seeing N.Fia again is also romantic. Finishing that stage well, gathering together after a long time to have a delicious meal, talk about what happened during military service, and have a beer together—it's our romance," Yoo Hweseung expressed.

◇ Special Request from the Affectionate Senior, Lee Seunghyub: "I Have Something to Say, Please Write This"

Lee Seunghyub actively supported AMPERS&ONE, a junior group under FNC Entertainment, by participating in the lyrics and composition of 'Fly', the first mini album 'ONE QUESTION', along with 'Calling You Back', 'Slide', and 'Whip It'.

In an interview with Joy News24, Na Kamden mentioned, "Senior Lee Seunghyub has so much to learn from. When Mackiah and I were doing rap making, he gave us feedback and told us to keep sending him raps via text." Kamden added, "Even though I could sense he was busy, he said it's okay and suggested we have a meal together." Lee Seunghyub even made a surprise visit to their practice room to show support.

Regarding this, Lee Seunghyub stated, "I have something to say about that. I really want to ask this." He continued, "They are very thankful to me, but honestly, I didn't do much. Kamden and the others mostly handled the work." He explained, "Their own colors were important in the lyrics, so I tried my best not to interfere and to preserve that. I haven't really done much, but they expressed gratitude so elaborately, and I understand their feelings."

He further commented, "I couldn't contact them separately, but I happened to receive the album. Actually, whether their sincerity can be distinguished from the writing is noticeable. These friends wrote from start to finish without any gaps. I'm very grateful." He praised, "I wanted to give strength in their efforts and accumulation, but it feels like I'm the one receiving it. They are friends who practice late into the night and think a lot."

Explaining about the question of why he didn't text, he added another explanation. He said, "I heard Kamden was wondering how to do better. So I called and said, 'Want to talk once? We can have a meal, and it doesn't have to be just about music.' He replied, 'Okay, hyung.' But after that, there was no contact." He clarified, "Recently, our schedules overlapped. He came to say hello, and I was glad to see him, so I asked, 'Why didn't you contact me?'"

Continuing, he shared a behind-the-scenes story of a surprise visit to the practice room. He said, "I'm currently working with a friend, and their practice room is close to Kamden's. I went there, and when I opened the door, Kamden passed by and was so surprised. That's what I saw when I went in." He revealed, "They speak highly of me, but it's actually all them. I just organized and gave direction there. I want to let them know they're doing well," encouraging and supporting AMPERS&ONE.

Yeah it makes sense in my head that they would plan for comebacks in advance it makes the most sense. Although half the band will be missing arguably the two most important people for live performance are still gonna be there (main vocal and fan favourite violin) it would feel REALLY empty without yechan cause think abt it that’s what kinda makes lucy so different from the rest of the kband scene. There’s a lot more too that sets them apart ofc but the violin is so unique so it would feel REALLY empty to see them live without yechan… so I hope even if we don’t get new music they’ll perform live. Also omg I never thought abt wanting wonsang there for year end awards but it totally makes sense so he’d prob enlist late 2024 after shows are over or early 2025. I def think it’s manageable for them to do everything as a duo, yk like I said they still have the main vocal and the violin. Although there’s no bassist like wonsang out there and vocal parts that gwangil did will be missing, idk how they would function with sangyeop or yechan missing instead??? And yeah nflying are making it work w just seunghyub and hweseung!! Honestly similarly I think they have the most important parts of the band for live performances still there (vocal and rapper)

Stop cause I can totally imagine that dynamic, yechan who’s trying to be sentimental w his self written song but at the same time he’s smiling and fighting back laughter while playing because he’s just so in love. And then ofc ur suggestions for stuff for him to play for you are ENDLESS to the point that you’d keep him busy for 3+ hours a day if possible. He’d prob impose a limit of like 2-3 songs a day only when you stumble upon him while he’s already practicing 😭😭

STOP THE ACOUSTIC UR SO RIGHT SKDJSKS and now I’m so down bad (i always was) i feel like sangyeop is very aware of his own charms and how beautiful his voice is so he’s confident as hell when it comes to it. And he’s also been working out so much so… body confidence im screaming SKJSKS but at the end of the day he’d take being able to make you cry as a compliment. Even tho who would even be able to survive hearing him sing a song that he wrote specifically for you 🫠🫠

Wonsang would make the song structure so fun like a million interludes with inside jokes and fun sounds he recorded of your daily life that you recognize. Since his brain is so creative with ambient pop imagine he records sounds like the coffee maker in the morning or your absent minded mumbling as you’re getting ready for the day. He incorporates those all into the song and it would make you emotional just thinking abt how much time and effort he put into it even if it’s a super light hearted cute song :( teasing all your little habits but also being so adamant that he’s endeared by everything you do ☹️☹️ it’s a love song to your relationship together as much as it’s a love song to you <//3

now I’m also gonna be thinking abt this all day (and technically I was already thinking abt it yesterday too sigh…) BUT YK NOT COMPLAINING

it’s been good tbh def busier than I’m used to but a good kind of busy. I crash rly hard and sleep for a long time but I’m also being rly productive so I feel good and accomplished. Today is slightly slower I think for school since I’m getting bloodwork done and then I have a piano lesson in the afternoon (did not practice AT ALL so that’s gonna be fun) but yeah 🫠🫠 surviving so far!! It must feel weird to not be doing school for you omg dksjsk def a big adjustment 🥹🥹

hehe im coming to say hi here instead of the other way around :3 but omg i think it just hit me now that.... w gwangil gone that's gonna be a very long time without an ot4 comeback and part of me just wants wonsang to enlist as soon as possible so that the time will be shorter until theyre back :( but i wonder if hes working on a lot of songs to put out while theyre enlisted since hes the producer.... i could def see yechan and sangyeop doing some type of comeback or putting out new music and maybe even collabing w other kbands like they did with daybreak. i honestly just hope we still get some new music cause idk how ill survive 2 years with no new lucy music (ik ill survive somehow but ive consistently been able to look forward to amazing comebacks from lucy since i stanned in 2022 during play era so... it'll def be a change of pace) BUT YEAH EMO HOURS HERE I COME 🫠

id be interested to know what you think their plan is for enlistment era. whether wonsang is gonna enlist sooner or later and new music timeline etc!! recently also been thinking about what type of songs lucy would write for you...

yechan would make a super emotional song and ofc its gonna have a beautiful violin section in it, i feel like he could even incorporate some classical music into it and it'd be soooo pretty. but more frequently than writing his own songs for you he'd always take your requests for anything you want him to play

sangyeop would probably put you through some emotions like he'd be singing his heart out to you and after hes done he'd be his usual bright cheery self acting like he didn't just make you cry from his pretty voice

wonsang 100% gonna write an admiration song about you like he did with holly LMAO and would poke fun at your habits or your relationship together, would prob sound like an anime opening too CAUSE HES WONSANG <//3 (my bias rly showing through damn why do i have so many thoughts abt this) but knowing how many songs he writes he'd prob have a range as well with some sadder or just more emotional romantic songs

gwangil is gonna write you the cutest and most heartwarming song ever just like his song would you dance with me !! i feel like hes really into the bright and fun side of love and while his voice is rly suited for slower softer songs, he would want to make you smile with his song, not cry so he'd stray away from that vibe skdjks

Seeing the photos from their schedules really made it hit home that he isn't there. Stoppp it hadn't even occurred to me that we won't be getting ot4 comeback for a while. I do hope that Wonsang goes soon, but you're right he's probably busy working on stuff that they can put out while he's gone. That would make most sense anyway. I think he'd maybe go around Dec/early next year? I'd imagine they'd want him to be there for award show season if they perform and then he'd go after that? I really hope Yechan and Sangyeop put out music or at least just do schedules while the others are away. Alot of the videos that I had seen when villain came out were just Yechan and Sangyeop, so I wasn't sure if that was them preparing us for how it will be over the next couple of years lol. I think they'll continue to thrive even as a duo, isn't N.Flying still doing well despite being down 3 members? (I haven't kept up to date with them, so I genuinely don't know. All I know is Seunghyub has been in a couple of dramas lol)

Sangyeop would be such a menace, writing such an emotional song that makes you bawl and then he'd probably have the audacity to tease you for crying after. I think his would definitely be acoustic (so that you can focus on his voice more) . I think the lyrics would be so beautiful, I NEED him to write me a song lol. I would cry if there was a key change in it, I am a sucker for a key change

Wonsang's song for Holly was so cute oh my goodness. Another song like domino would be so funny. It's such a funny song, especially with the intro ahaha. Maybe he would put funny sound bites from videos of you both in the intro, from clips of you doing the most stupid things (but he finds it endearing because he is so in love with you). Oh and the bit between the verse and chorus could be him listening off things that he loves about you (in his really cute voice 🥺)

I feel like Gwangil would write such a goofy song. I definitely think he would be able to write a really emotional song like Sangyeop, but he's not gonna show you that yet (he's waiting for the right moment because he's going to ask for your hand after, I need to stop lol). I could see it being a really cheesy song or one that's filled with stupid puns because he knows that you hate them but you love him and he's going to be annoying about it. I love how you said that he's "into the bright and fun side of love", I definitely agree with that. I agree that he wouldn't want to make you cry, I feel like his is the only one who wouldn't make you cry with his song (Wonsang wouldn't want to make you cry, but he writes such beautiful songs that I think he would do it accidentally lol)

How's life treating you now that it's September? Has your schedule become really busy or is it not too bad? It's definitely been weird to not be in any form of school this year, this is the first time in like 19yrs that I haven't done this (that make me feel so disgusting and old to say that ahaha). When Another Member Teases Him About A Hickey ~ N.Flying Reaction

Seunghyub:

He didn’t quite know where to look as Hoeseung took a seat down beside him, with Seunghyub shuffling his hands around.

“I didn’t realise it was cold enough to need a scarf,” Hoeseung teased straight away, noticing how protective Seunghyub was of what he wore.

“I just felt a bit chilly when I left the house this morning,” Seunghyub quickly tried his best to tell Hoeseung, stuttering constantly. “The winter really does creep up on us quickly, right?”

A roll of the eyes followed from Hoeseung, “you really think that I’m stupid, don’t you?”

Seunghyub’s brows furrowed in confusion as Hoeseung pulled the scarf down and revealed exactly what he expected. “You can’t tell any of the others about this.”

“They’ll ask questions,” Hoeseung warned him, “we all know the real reason why you’d wear a scarf in this weather.”

“Just pretend you don’t know,” Seunghyub asked of him, “please don’t throw me under the bus, I can’t deal with it.”

“I can’t wait to tease you though.”

Cha Hun:

There was the slightest distance between Hoon and Jaehyun as they sat down together, a firm stare coming from Jaehyun.

“Something doesn’t seem right,” Jaehyun commented as he studied Hoon closely, “something looks a little redder than it usually does on you.”

“Shut up,” Hoon muttered underneath his breath, bringing his shoulders up to hide his neck. “Don’t say a word,” he added, knowing how tempted Jaehyun was to spill about his findings.

Jaehyun shook his head back across at him, “it’ll come at a cost for me to keep quiet about this.”

It was Hoon’s turn to shake his head, knowing that Jaehyun would have something up his sleeve. “What do I have to do for you to not spill then?”

“I’m just thinking about how hungry I am,” Jaehyun began, “and how many meals are needed to not spill about this.”

“I’ll buy you lunch,” Hoon quickly confirmed, “and if it keeps you quiet then maybe I’ll treat you to dinner as well.”

“It’ll take a lot more than just that buddy.”

Jaehyun:

His eyes followed as Dongsung moved all around him, with Jaehyun’s suspicions growing the longer he hovered around.

“Did you enjoy last night?” Dongsung eventually asked him as Jaehyun turned around to face him, letting go of a heavy sigh of frustration.

“I just spent some time with Y/N,” Jaehyun shrugged innocently, baffled as the corners of Dongsung’s smile turned up as he spoke. “It was nice to actually just spend an evening just the two of us.”

Dongsung nodded in agreement with Jaehyun, “it looks like you really did have a good night.”

The stare of Dongsung was followed by Jaehyun, noticing his eyes on his neck. “Have I…?” Jaehyun nervously asked, beginning to fear what Dongsung had spotted.

“You really hadn’t noticed?” Dongsung chuckled back at him, “you really might want to do something about that.”

“I had no idea,” Jaehyun whispered, placing his head into his hands. “How am I supposed to cover that up here?”

“That’s your problem to figure out.”

Hweseung:

His body froze as Hoeseung noticed Hoon walking into the bathroom, scrambling to pull his shirt back up and cover his neck.

“What are you up to?” Hoon quickly challenged though, not oblivious to how jumpy Hoeseung was as soon as he spotted him.

“N-nothing,” Hoeseung responded, stumbling over his words as he straightened out the collar of his shirt. “I was just checking my fit to make sure that I look good, I like to impress these days.”

Hoon took a few steps closer towards him, “no one is that nervous when they’re checking their fit.”

Hoeseung stood frozen to the spot as Hoon took a step closer to him and grabbed his shirt. “Please, let go,” he whispered, closing his eyes as he felt the material pull.

“No way!” Hoon laughed loudly as soon as he noticed what Hoeseung was hiding, “is this why you’re wearing this shirt?”

“I don’t want anyone to notice,” Hoeseung huffed back across to him, “do you know how ruined I’ll be if it’s spotted.”

“I can’t believe you’re at work like this.”

Dongsung:

A sigh came from Dongsung as Seunghyub came up behind him whilst he sat in the makeup chair to get ready for their performance.

“You’ll need a lot of foundation for this guy today,” Seunghyub couldn’t help but warn the MUA, bringing a groan from Dongsung.”

“You don’t have to be here,” Dongsung swiftly reminded him, silently wishing that Seunghyub would leave him alone. “We’re trying to get ready without you here interfering around us both.”

A shrug came from Seunghyub, “there’s no way I’m missing out on watching this right now.”

Dongsung threw his head back as the MUA stepped back momentarily. “Are you really just going to stand there and tease me because of one stupid hickey?”

“Exactly that,” Seunghyub proudly smiled, “I can finally get my own back for all the times you’ve been mean to me.”

“This isn’t even my fault, it’s Y/N’s,” Dongsung tried his best to protest, “she’s the one who made this mark on me.”

“You could’ve stopped her…but you didn’t.”

It's the 28th of February and that means that it's Hweseung's birthday HOORAY 😭🥳

Which means that I can finally show you the collage I made for him 🥹

Guys, I'm so proud of this collage, really 🥹 Look at the squishy cheeks and the floofy hair 😭

I also wanted to cover his actor career since he made a wonderful job and I wanted to celebrate in a way.

The only thing I complain tho is the lack of memable moments 😔 But at least now I have an idea for every N.Flying collage I'll make in the future so, yeah, expect the "signature face" they make everytime when they do a group picture from now on.

Oh boy, how can I talk about Hweseung? Believe me when it's not so simple. It took a while choosing him as my bias. I'm pretty sure that he was one of the first artists who received his birthday queue here. At the time I didn't have an idea about the queue tho, I was just reblogging every post I found there and trying to celebrate his day.

Before searching some informations about him, the only thing I was pretty sure, by judging his face, is that he was the maknae of the group. My instinct was telling me that he had everything a maknae could have. And knowing my instinct, Hweseung could have become my bias because of this, it's not the first time where I fall in love with the maknaes. Then I checked the members' birthdays and I discovered that no, he wasn't the maknae. Oh well, actually he WAS the maknae until Dongsung came in (so my instinct was right, somehow) but whatever, we're not talking about N.Flying's history now.

Coming back to Hweseung, I can't talk about his voice and how he made N.Flying's songs even more iconic thanks to his talent. I can't listen to Flower Fantasy (one of my favourite songs made by them) without him starting the song or to The Night without his voice. He always adds that irreplaceable softness and sweetness that shines even more when N.Flying make more happy and upbeat songs thanks to the contrast between him and Seunghyub (I mean, I'm the biggest Oh Really fan and the main reason is because of the contrast 😆).

And how can I not talk about his Ha.Ma lives on his YouTube channel. I love how he uses them as an opportunity to talk with N.Fias. The entire atmosphere is so cozy and warm that it's like listening to a true podcast (not to mention that I found a YouTube channel who makes good BGM music thanks to him). I really hope that one day he'll have his own radio show, I think he could be a very good MC.

My dear Hweseung, thank you so much for what you did and you'll keep doing for N.Flying. I can't imagine the band without you. I'm glad that you restarted your actor career too. I couldn't attend at one of your plays since I live too much far away but I was thrilled just by watching some clips of yours.

The next months will be a little tough for me but I'm pretty sure that you'll find a way to keep us company while waiting for the next big comeback.

I do like N.Flying! I like them a normal amount, I'm definitely not obsessed with any of the members, I'm totally normal about how much I like Seunghyub and N.Flying as a whole.

For music recs... Starlight!! This song changed me as a person. I've gotta listen to it every few days - it's just so pretty and sad and heartwarming and heart wrenching all at once. The MV and origin of the song is also very sad :( music that comes from the heart and soul like that just hits different, it's filled with pure emotion (like Imagine Dragon's Wrecked. Off topic but gosh it kills me every time)

Of course I have ta recommend the title tracks. Awesome, The Real, Hot Potato, How R U Today are still such bops and super duper fun!! I loved them so much but they just get better and better with every comeback?? Rooftop and Good Bam solidified me as a fan. If you're not huge on their earlier stuff, please don't skip over these two. They're just so *chef's kiss* ugh, never skip, put 'em on repeat.

Then for b-sides, yooo, I have to inform you that Flowerwork exists. It's so freaking fun ??? and good!! also Leave It! Same vibe but a little more upbeat and zingy? and and and also I'm Gonna and E-Yo <33 SOFT <- that's me. and Youth, actually. The Oh Really album was a bop all around! and if you like slower, more emotional songs, Like A Flower is so beautiful! I also really liked the Japanese tracks Amnesia and Doll!

I've been slacking lately and I'm like two years behind on music so I also haven't listened to the latest two albums yet :( so I'm sure there's even more bops I've missed!

Also Hun and Jaehyun have a YouTube channel called 2IDIOTS and they're super funny askdjfg I recommend any of the videos that also have Seunghyub in them but... I'm being so obviously biased lmfao all of their videos are good!! they feature other idols sometimes too~ and also Seunghyub has solo music under the name J.DON! Hweseung has done some OSTs, and Dongsung is the cutest person alive!

OMG BUT DUDE THEIR COVERS ARE SO GOOD TOO!! Their Shy Away cover is amazing, and that's coming from someone who has been a Twenty One Pilots fan longer than I've even known what KPOP is. Leave The Door Open is really good too! Spot on with the R&B vibe! and if you like Disney stuff they covered Into The Unknown :) they cover all kinds of genres! I believe they did Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish and Ariana too. They've got the range ^^/

And if I had to give a fan-made video of a single legendary moment that must be shared and appreciated, it would be... One Spaghetti, One Chicken Taco. It just... sums them up perfectly, I-- askhdfjg
