Seonghwa stormed into his residence, his frustration palpable as he slammed the door shut behind him. "AAH!" his anguished cry echoed through the halls, startling Yunho, his faithful assistant, who hurried to his side. "General?" Yunho inquired tentatively. "What!?" Seonghwa snapped, his voice edged with irritation. "The designer has arrived." Yunho informed him. "Send him in," Seonghwa conceded, his defeat evident in his tone. "Your home is truly magnificent, my lord," Yongbok, renowned as the finest designer in all of Goguryeo, remarked as he entered. Seonghwa merely regarded him with a cold stare. "If you could stand, so I can take your measurements," Yongbok requested, to which Seonghwa complied reluctantly. As Yongbok meticulously worked, Yongbok's assistant recorded the measurements. "What shade of blue do you desire for your hanbok?" Yongbok inquired. "Whatever you prefer," Seonghwa responded curtly. "Uh… dark blue?" Yongbok suggested tentatively. "Sure," Seonghwa replied monotonously, and Yongbok departed. "Which room shall we prepare for your bride, my lord?" Eun-ji, the head servant, inquired as she entered. "Prepare the House of Barkarole," Seonghwa ordered, his tone conveying his disinterest. "My lord—" Eunji attempted to interject, but Seonghwa's icy glare silenced her. Bowing respectfully, Eun-ji exited the room. "Which room?" a maid inquired. "House of Barkarole," the head maid answered, leaving the other maids stunned. "There is nothing we can do. If we wish to retain our positions, we must prepare the room," the head maid rationalized, prompting the other maids to comply and depart. Later, Seonghwa emerged from his quarters clad in his armor and made his way to the training grounds, where the lieutenant of the army, Choi San, greeted him with a bow. "How's the training progressing?" Seonghwa inquired. "Well, my lord," San replied, and Seonghwa nodded before conducting a survey of the cadets. As dusk settled, Seonghwa arrived at the private practice room designated for the general. Drawing his sword, he engaged in rigorous training, relentlessly attacking the practice targets until exhaustion overtook him. With the sun having dipped below the horizon, Seonghwa made his way to the tavern, where he sought solace in alcohol. Downing his drinks in solitude, Seonghwa was interrupted by a young man barely 18 years old. "You're the general, right?" the boy remarked. Seonghwa rolled his eyes and turned away, but the boy persisted. "Perhaps not. Who would believe such a scamp could be the general?" Annoyed, Seonghwa swiftly turned and pointed his sword at the boy's throat. "The next time you insult me, your head will be in a box on its way home," Seonghwa warned sternly, before placing payment on the counter and departing without another word.

As Seonghwa sought solace in his own way, the palace bustled with activity, every servant tirelessly engaged in adorning the premises for the impending wedding. Meanwhile, Yongbok, having returned from Seonghwa's residence, was now at the palace, meticulously taking Y/N's measurements to craft her hwarot. "You're fortunate, Princess," Yongbok remarked. "How so?" Y/N inquired. "Your fiancé is exceptionally handsome," Yongbok complimented, earning a nod of acknowledgment from Y/N.

I just finished watching the kdrama 18 Again, and I’m crying. Let’s just take a moment to appreciate everything that our parents are doing/ have ever done for us. Let’s just put down our devices and sit down with our loved ones and just appreciate the fact that they are doing a good job carrying the burdens of life against the strong currents of challenges.

Pairing: Hwang Inyeop x fem!reader

Genre: This is really soft. Fluffy, established relationship.

Summary: You comfort Inyeop about something and for the millionth time, he is again reminded of how much he adores you.

Warnings: none, they're just REALLY in love with each other, lots of nicknames. (let me know if I missed something)

Y/n and her boyfriend Inyeop are playing a game on the new PlayStation they had bought together a day ago.

"I'll win and you don't even seem to care!" She screams laughing at Inyeop's unconcentration. 

"This is broken." He mutters under his breath, throwing the PlayStation remote away, defending himself.

"What do you mean? We just bought it yesterday." You pressed the pause button, looking up.

He seemed like something was bothering him.

"Hey. What's wrong baby?" You said in a soft voice, your hands cupping his face as he looked at you.

He pouted like he always did when you talked to him like that.

You pressed a little kiss on his plump lips, hoping he would let you know what it is that's upsetting him.

"I don't want to stress you out with my problems baby..." He began, sighing.

"Darling... I'm here for you... Don't say that." You scolded him, taking his hand in yours.

"It's just... We've been doing so good lately, you studying hard for your uni and me working so much... I wish we could take a break and go somewhere beautiful... You know? Just the two of us for like 2 weeks maybe? But for my boss that would be too much to ask for. I hate that I have so little control over my life." He looked down sadly.

"Inyeop..." You wrapped your arms around him, his head resting on your shoulder.

"You've been thinking about a vacation? Oh, my love..." You held him close, brushing his hair. 

He felt so comforted and safe. When you hugged him all his worries and negative thoughts flew away.

"You did so well baby, I'm sure he will understand you need a break." You looked at him, your eyes full of love.

"Do you really think so?" He said and placed his lips on your head.

"Yes Inyeop, I'm sure of it. Don't worry too much... Okay? We will find a way." 

"Okay... You're right." He smiled.

You ended up massaging his shoulders and back, him being a complete whimpering mess. "My poor boy." You hugged his big back.

"I'm so proud of you, my Inyeop." You praised him, kissing his cheeks, nose and lips.

"Mmmm.... Y/n... You're so good to me." He pulled you on his lap, holding you close. 

Your heart skipped beats when you looked up into his eyes, and you knew this feeling will never pass. You loved him every day more.

"I adore you, my princess." He whispered, then kissed your lips so sweetly. Your kisses were so addictive and once he gave you one, he ended up craving a thousand more.

"Inyeop..." You breathed on his mouth as he bit your lip. 

Playing with his hair, you pulled on it a little while kissing him, knowing he likes it when you do. 

He gently lied you down, pressing his lips on your neck.

“I never understand how you get more beautiful everyday.” He whispered, looking up into your eyes.

Your heart melted and you couldn't help but let out a giggle at his compliment.

“Kiss me.” You suddenly said.

He looked into your eyes as your cheeks burned a shade of pink.

It was love. You felt it running through your veins. In your heart, in your tummy that felt so warm.

He was happier than he has ever been, knowing you're the one. He had finally found his soulmate. His person.

He gave you one last kiss on your forehead and held you close on his chest.

It was getting late, the moon making it's way through the dark sky.

All nights were similar to this, kissing and holding each other to sleep, and in the mornings you woke up to the sound of his soft breathing, legs tangled around his waist, him sleeping on your chest.
