Another scenario, thinking about being paraded around as a triumphant conquest. Imagine your boyfriend belongs to a secret society of feedists who commune and hold grand balls and celebrate their commitment to fattening up unsuspecting young men. You meet this charming guy on a night out, and he sees potential in you, he invites you out to buffets, sizing you up, seeing if you have what it takes to be his next prize trophy.

Sure enough, he likes your sincere eagerness to be with him and to please him, so he fosters an indulgence in you, gets you to push that bit further every time on the top end of all the finest delicacies as you slowly feel like livestock being fattened up. But no slaughter awaits, only more pleasure.

After long enough, he feels you’ve grown round enough to present, and he’s sure you’ll be the best in show. It’s at this point the veil begins to drop; you’re his prize boy, his project, and you’re so good for him, you eat everything you’re asked. Of course, you wear a nice collar, but there’s really no need; the evidence of your submission is visible to anyone you know in your perfectly spherical shape, a collar you can’t take off.

You squeal with excitement to be such a good ornament for him, such a good display piece to show off his conquest, and you attend the next ball. Of course, there are many feedees present with their prey, each one allured and plumped up to fetishistic proportions as an exercise in libidinal control meeting lavish indulgence, surrender of everything to their being as you reshape your bodies to suit their taste.

But you truly take breaths away. You are the show stopper. No one mistakes how much you have submitted, and, from the dumb look of contentment on your face, how much you have been rewarded for doing so. As you hand over the last of your thoughts to your partner while he places atop your head a little crown, the surest sign that the club has recognised him and you as the greatest example of what feedism can be and do that they have seen, all you can dream of is what he will feed you next. - 🐇

@guardtristan submitted: It’s probably a way too bad photo but wonder if you could identify this housebreaker I caught in my bathroom yesterday. Almost fully black, striped legs. Only makes single strings as net, apartment is ground level ([removed] (please remove)). I THINK it might be a Meta Menardi from size/color/face but I am not sure… also why are you in my bathroom is that a comment on my decorations… (and yes I set em up in a small terrarium + fruit flies for the next days since it just snowed tonight, will go to the rocky area near the river once there is free access again)

I’m glad she’s comfortable and well fed in the interim! The photos aren’t terribly clear so I can’t be super confident, but I think this is likely a cobweb spider in the family Theridiidae, probably a false widow in the genus Steatoda - with the striping on the legs and the light-colored stripe across the front of the abodomen, I’d lean towards a rabbit hutch spider.

Hello to those also awake at 3am 🌙

Just finished up this little diddy: The Rabbit Hutch, by Tess Gunty. I've gotta say it's probably one of the best books I've read this year. It's the kind of book that deserves to be read over and over again, pulled apart. I feel like I missed things while also feeling like I've retained too much for a single night. I likely won't sleep til noon tomorrow as I pick up another book as a cleanser, but I think I should read this again sometime soon. The writing style makes it a quick read, but there are some passages that will slow you down as you won't be able to stop yourself from rereading them several times over. It's a good book, a damn good book. It also has one of the best openings I've read in a really long time. This book feels like a parasite that I want to carry around and nourish even if it's not purely beneficial to my mental health. But that's what's so interesting about the feeling I have after reading this: I don't know if I'm better or worse for having read it.

I must love putting TKB into angsty situations a bit too much, because I had one of those vivid dreams that even though I don't remember all of the details, I remember a lot of the important basics and it won't leave me.

Coming to dine the opening night of a restaurant which has been hugely-anticipated to the point that its first evening is a ticketed event. What most people missed was a little clause on the backside of the ticket; you’re not allowed leave if your clothes still fit you. By the time most people have eaten enough to be able to get out, they don’t want to. - 🐇

People should really read through contracts and invitations more, huh?

Not sure who's luckier, the people who wore more form-fitting outfits to look all trim and nice who burst out of their clothes early, or those who wore something more loose with the expectation that they'd want to sample and variety of dishes. I guess they got what they wanted and then some
