This week in Pathfinder: Monster Hunter Edition

The party met a German crab robot merchant who offered to give us discounts on his wares if we stole the supplies of his competitors. Since his competitors are jerks who we’ve had bad experiences with in the past (and because he said we could keep some of the goods we take) we happily agreed.

We went to robot Starbucks an abandoned warehouse full of robo-millennials mooching off it being a wi-fi hot spot. From there we could access the internet for our own robot cleric buddy Kahn to help us figure out where we could download a map of the area.

Some things happened in a plasticed off hazmat hallway and one thing lead to another which lead to us fighting a huge ooze cyclops monster. Which when killed turned into a smaller humoid monster that fought using its own bones as projectiles. Which left behind a human corpse when it died the second time.

Our Paladin felt pity for the woman who’d been turned into that monster, and the party agreed to help bury her. We discovered this is our most religious party out of all ours games so far (2 clerics of different gods, a paladin of an evil god who is being adopted by two of the other PCs gods, a ranger who worships a former PC who ascended, and a bard from an island who worships a storm/sea god.) Only our sorcerer isn’t religious. We tried to convince her to start worshipping a dragon god so that we’d be an all-devout party.

After using speak with dead to get some info and burying the body, we went to leave. We wanted to go sleep because that two part battle had really tapped us. Instead, we got a broadcast on the tablet Kahn had been using to access the area’s network. Our good friend, our party’ druid who had been kidnapped weeks ago, was being held in the town’s arena and we were told to go and face the king of the arena if we wanted to save her.

“Gucci and Beyond” Fall 17 Campaign

The ‘Gucci and beyond’ Fall 17 campaign is an advertising campaign with the  concept of human characters who interact with extra-terrestrial creatures and dinosaurs. The campaign was shot by Glen Luchford who was inspired by the sci-fi genre of the 1950s and 60s. This includes movies such as Star Trek which is an iconic movie. The campaign features a wide cast range of humans (which they describe as humoids, aliens, robots, earthlings and dinosaurs. The wide cast range brings an amazing fantasy and imagination.

I love this first image, I love the incorporation of the cows mixed in with the spaceship, and the lighting which the shoot has been taken with gives an older aged vibe.

This second image is so cool. I love the alien costume and the cloak that they have given him to wear... I love the setting of the shoot as well!

I think this image is so funny the way they’ve got a gorilla with a human makes me smile so much! I once again love the setting of the image. The colours give the vibe of older times as well which is so clever.

This final image is so cool in the way they have the people attacking the dinosaur. You can clearly see they have thought out everything fully from their props to their costumes.

I think that this campaign is so imaginative and quirky. You can really see the time and effort which has gone into every single image.
