What you guys favorite AU when you read fanfiction? I really like reincarnation au alot. The idea that in another life the character you like can get another chance and watching that character basically do the best they can with the resources they have is honestly so interesting to me.
This is my favorite as I like seeing Alexander basically doing what he wants and plus everyone else is also on the adventure

Honestly my favorite fun fact about everyone’s favorite human disaster Aaron Burr is that he spent the summer of 1775 trying to flirt with John Hancock’s fiancée.
The history books tend to claim that Dorothy initiated this but I have serious doubts considering she was very much not an idiot and also almost ten years older than him

"Pardon Me, Are You Aaron Burr, Sir?"
read it on AO3 at https://ift.tt/1FnKWuO
by Ick_arus
"Pardon me, are you Aaron Burr, sir?"
The voice strikes a chord with him; he does not know the voice and he does. He has heard this voice once before; there is only one person that has called him like that, yet it seems like a lifetime ago.
He whirls back at it all the same. He takes in the sight; a boy, one that stands with all the confidence of a man but a boy nonetheless, around his age, skinny and pale with odd eyes and long hair. Burr does not know him.
  Does he?
 And
"Pardon Me, Are You Aaron Burr, Sir?"
Burr looks up from his laptop, quirking an unimpressed eyebrow. “That depends, who’s askin’?”
(Or; Across the Multiverse, Alexander Hamilton still insists on calling him Aaron Burr, sir

Every time I hear “Where You Are” from Moana I think of Aaron Burr singing this line because of the story in his journals where he spent like 16 shillings on a coconut.
