On the Krung Kasem Canal at Hua Lampong Train station they opened a NEW promenade. Only the first few hundred meters opened and later this year the second pat will open as well. 

 I filmed it in the early morning and in the evening they put some nice lights on it. It's easy to go to the Krung Kasem Canal by MRT. You can take the MRT Subway train to the Hua Lampong train station.

Charoen Chai community

This heritage site located in charoen krung 23 road originated from the influence  of the surrounding temples, holding Sino-thai community that are known for the largest Chinese offering market that were flourish and lively until the extension of the mrt blue line from the Hualampong station to build Wat Mangkorn station across the street, began the controversy for land between community and authority

People are starting to relocate due to the uncertainty of the lease from changes yearly to monthly, the pedestrian walk were taken away make the alley narrower,

Talad Noi is a historic Chinese neighborhood on the borders of Bangkok's Chinatown, on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. It is well-known for having a strong community spirit, ancient buildings, and lanes brimming with street art and used vehicle parts. Many creative secret cafes and bars have recently appeared, becoming very popular among young travelers and Instagram users.

This place brings me back to the nostalgic atmosphere since I studied at Mahapruttaram School in Charoenkrung. I spend six years of my early teen phase walking past here almost every day before the days here go viral for travelers. I came to visit this place after three years of high school graduation to see how this place changed and to fulfill my desire for walking around like an early teen again.

Story of Talad Noi

Talad Noi, which means "little market," was one of the first Chinese communities in Rattanakosin. Because of the relocation of Portuguese and Chinese communities following the fall of Ayutthaya in 1767, there is a mix of ethnicity and religion. They were granted a tiny plot of land in Talad Noi. This is evidenced by the presence of multiple Buddhist temples, a Roman Catholic church, and Chinese Shrines in small communities. The most noticeable aspect, though, is the very strong atmosphere of the Chinese community.

Where you shouldn't miss at Talad Noi?

There are a lot of places that are 'instagramable' spots here in just one day I cannot walk around all the block to find all the nice places to show you guys because of the hell-on-earth level of the weather in afternoon Bangkok. BUT these are my favorite spot when I was a high school student and I came back to shoot for you guys just to be a sample of how beautiful and authentic these places are.

Soi Charoen Krung 22

A small alleyway filled with locals and old wood residents.

Street art in Trok San Chao Rong Kueak

It's a little alleyway filled with realistic wall murals and fascinating graffiti. The highlight is the wall paintings in front of the Mother Roaster coffee store. A vast wall also displays amazing photographs made by many photographers. This alleyway is a photographer's dream.

Hon Wong Kung Shrine (also known as Rong Kuak Shrine)

This modest Chinese shrine in the Hakka style is located near the Chao Phraya River. Inside, a color Bas-relief depicts stories about ancient Chinese who lived there. There are several notable wall paintings on the outdoors.

Sol Heng Tai Mansion

Sol Heng Tai Mansion was created around 200 years ago in the Hokkien-Teochew architectural style. It is a group of four homes that surround a big courtyard. It was owned by one of the first Chinese trade families to leave China. 

Little Rusty Fiat 500

This small orange Fiat is supposed to have been parked here for a very long time. So much so that it has become one of Talad Noi's landmarks, especially in these age of Instagrammable backdrops!

Because Talad Noi is a little community in the middle of Bangkok city, you can easily go to this place by bus no.1, 75 or MRT Hualampong station.

1. Wat Yannawa

Ngôi chùa Wat Yannawa ở Sathon, Bangkok được xây dựng theo hình của một con thuyền khổng lồ, nằm ngay giữa trung tâm thành phố. Đây là một trong những ngôi chùa lâu đời nhất ở Bangkok được xây dựng vào khoảng thế kỷ 18. Ban đầu ngôi chùa này được gọi là Wat Khok Kwai và nổi tiếng với biểu tượng hình con trâu. Nhưng sau khi tòa nhà hình thuyền được xây dựng thêm sau đó vào thế kỷ 19, dưới thời Vua Rama III, nó được đổi tên thành Wat Yannawa.

Chiếc thuyền này được sử dụng như một căn phòng đặc biệt dành cho các nhà sư và được mô phỏng theo hình dạng của những chiếc thuyền nhỏ ở Trung Quốc. Chùa Wat Arun là một công trình kiến trúc vô cùng nổi tiếng tại Thái Lan, hình ảnh ngôi chùa được in trên đồng 10baht của quốc gia này. Đặt chân đến nơi đây, du khách sẽ ấn tượng trước chiều cao đến 70m của ngôi chùa này.

Wat Phra Kaew, ngôi chùa được tọa lạc ngay trung tâm thủ đô Bangkok trong khuôn viên của Cung điện Hoàng gia. Nơi này được các bức tường dài hơn 1 dặm bao quanh như muốn bảo vệ sự linh thiêng của nó. Bởi người Thái xưa tin rằng những pho tượng quý báu trong chùa nếu bị đánh mất thì triều đại của họ sẽ diệt vong.

Tuy trong khuôn viên của cung điện có khá nhiều những ngôi chùa lớn nhỏ nhưng Wat Phra Kaew vẫn là ngôi chùa được tôn thờ nhất bởi nó cất giữ pho tượng Phật ngọc lục bảo quý giá, có ý nghĩa to lớn với toàn thể người dân Thái Lan.

Đây là một trong những nơi mà bất kỳ du khách nào lần đầu tiên đến Bangkok cũng muốn tới thăm. Ngôi chùa này nổi tiếng với tượng Phật nằm khổng lồ dài 46m được bao phủ trong lá vàng.

Bên trong ngôi chùa trang trí nhiều bức tranh treo tường, miêu tả về cuộc sống của Đức Phật. Ngoài ra, dọc theo các cạnh phía Nam là tượng 108 nhà sư. Trong đó, chỉ với 20 baht, du khách có thể mua 108 đồng xu, mỗi đồng bỏ vào trong bát sẽ đem lại may mắn trong năm theo quan niệm của người Thái.

Wat Traimit còn có tên tiếng Việt là Chùa Phật Vàng, là một ngôi chùa nổi tiếng ở Bangkok, Thái Lan. Nhờ có vẻ đẹp độc đáo và pho tượng Phật bằng vàng nguyên khối cao 3 m đúc bằng vàng khối, nặng 5,5 tấn, nên chùa luôn thu hút được lượng du khách lớn. Người địa phương cho rằng bức tượng lớn nhất thế giới này biểu thị cho sự thịnh vượng và thuần khiết cũng như sức mạnh v�� quyền năng. Wat Mahathat là một trong sáu ngôi chùa thuộc hoàng gia Thái được xây dựng vào thời Ayutthaya. Khi Bangkok trở thành thủ đô, Mahathat được sử dụng như là một ngôi đền cho các nghi lễ Hoàng gia. Điều thú vị nhất khi tới chùa là ở đó có một đầu tượng Phật với khuôn mặt đẹp hiện ra trong chùm rễ cây ôm trọn, tạo thành một bức tranh sống động và lạ kỳ.
