HSR: e0s1 Aventurine Warps

After saving 275 warps and waiting 85 days for him to release, I got Aventurine! Oh my goodness I actually got him and his signature light cone both within 80 warps. I was so, so nervous that I was going to lose both the 50/50 & 75/25 but the gacha gods had me in their favor.

Here’s what 80 warps got me:

An incredibly lucky session that I will surely be paying for at some point later this year when I go for a new character & sig light cone. Feeling great about having 175 warps leftover towards my next pulls. 10/10 experience.

HSR: e0s1 Sparkle Warps

It's been a long time coming, I'm so glad to finally have this little trickster on my roster.

42 days worth of saving and 100 warps later, I've successfully secured Sparkle and her signature light cone!

Here's what 100 warps got me:

2 x Hook (already e6)

1 x Arlan (e6)

1 x Memories of the Past (s4)

1 x Sampo (e6!!! finally, let's gooo!)

1 x Guinaifen (already e6)

1 x Sparkle (new, 79 pity)

6 x A Secret Vow (s14, a new curse may be brewing)

4 x Poised to Bloom (new, s4)

1 x March 7th (already e6)

1 x Earthly Escapade (new, 60 pity)

Total = seventeen 4*s and two 5*s

Much to my surprise, this was a very quick and rewarding warp session. I was fully expecting not to be able to try for sig since my luck has been relatively good lately, I figured it was high time for it to wear out. Thankfully, I was wrong and the gacha gods decided to bless me once more.

I also made this to ward off the clamor curse during my pulls:

Such a silly little thing to have done while waiting for the banner to go live, but I think it's safe to say that it worked. 10/10, would use again.

Rounded out this session with 57 tickets to spare. I'm not sure who or what I'll go for next; the loose plan is currently to pull both DHIL and Jing Yuan's signature lcs. Outside of that, there's not really anything that I feel the need to save for. I'll probably throw a couple of ten pulls at whatever banner Moze is on when the time comes. Aside from that, I think I'll be in jade hoarding mode for a good while. We'll have to see if the upcoming drip marketing throws a wrench in that—if Sunday appears, I fear we'll be "bet[ting] it all" for him.

Another pulling session has come and gone. What kind of assimilated southerner would I be if I didn't pull for the one and only interstellar cowboy?

I was a bit nervous when I started this session, ngl. Aventurine's pulls went too well for my usual brand of luck so I was worried that I might end up going through a majority of my warp/jade savings this time around. Thankfully, Boothill was merciful and I still have 135 warps leftover to put toward Jade next patch.

Well, fork me! Make that e1s1 Boothill!

This was not in the original plans but, after a short deliberation, I said, “fuck it we ball!” Lo and behold, Boothill came back through. I might go for e2 during one of his reruns sometime in the future. We’ll just have to see how everything pans out.

How many cowboy eidolons is too many cowboy eidolons?? (I’m asking for myself because literally what am I doing?) Did I need them? No. But this is where I’m at now.

What can I say, really? The Big Depression hit me hard and my usually well-restrained gambling demons took over for a short while. I was sure that I would lose my 50/50 this time but that was not the case. The gacha was on my side yet again (can it sense my southerness?) by yielding yet another copy of my dearest gunslinger. Happy as hell to have him so I shan’t complain about getting lucky. Pray for future me because they’ll surely be going through it on the next desired character banner.

Here’s what my final 80 warps got me:

1 x Only Silence Remains (s2)

HSR: 56K Stellar Jade Warp Session

Hello, hi! Yesterday was a very eventful day for my standard + (free) Ratio alt account. I’m honestly still not over the high of how these pulls went. I’ll show y’all what I mean shortly, but first some backstory:

I’ve been sporadically playing on this account since October of ‘23 and, up until 15 hours ago, I had not spent a single one of my stellar jades or any of the accumulated undying starlight from using the standard passes obtained through my gameplay. It’s been an excellent exercise of self control; if you haven’t hoarded more than a couple thousand jades before, give it a try and tell me if your fingers start to get itchy after surpassing 14,400 (90 warps).

The first and last set of pulls that I did before this were in February when 2.0 went live. I had 160 standard passes saved up at the time and got a very lackluster roster to work with. It really wasn’t all too much to write home about. This time, however, was an entirely different experience; 350 pulls, a small discord audience, and a bit of delusional dreaming made all the difference for me. I recorded most of the footage but I really did not feel like editing it so here we are in full text format instead.

Yesterday’s warps were wild, as you can see. I got seven, I repeat, seven 5 stars in 350 pulls. Six of those being brand new additions to my account as well. The luck was like nothing I’ve ever experienced. Two back to backs too. Like what??? I’ll gladly take it any day.

The grand total being equivalent to seven 5*s; 3 new characters, 1 eidolon, 3 new light cones and forty-four 4*s; 6 new characters, 17 eidolons, 9 new light cones, 12 superimpositions. This averages out to be 50 pity per 5* (quite lucky) and 8 pity per 4* (not very lucky but still better than the expectation).

So much stuff, and most of it being new and extremely useful is such a huge bonus. My roster got so much nicer after this session. I’m both very excited and a little bit dreadful for the building process I’m about to go through with everyone. I already started leveling up the characters I plan to play with but the relic and trace grinds are going to be an uphill battle. Hopefully the rng isn’t too punishing after all of this… but I may have already used up all of my luck — I don’t think I’ll be over these pulls for a quite while.

The only downside is that I didn’t pull Bronya or Gepard so I have to make the very crucial decision of choosing one of them from the 300 warp selector reward. I’m torn because I so very badly want to play an optimal Yanqing team but I also know how much of a difference Bronya makes overall. I’m going to have to think on it for a while longer before I make my choice... Oh well, you can’t win them all.
