Mikhail and Razalina, despite being "the smart ones" (scientist and mechanic) constantly do dumb shit. "Dumb shit" can mean anything from accidentally coming out as a lesbian to your mom from 300 light years away to finishing a rebellion and marrying a werewolf mafia boss to mass felony arson.
Tiernan is not pleased about any of these things.

The realization I came with the fact of me not daring to finish Penacony Quest entirely: Just like the people were not ready to awaken from their dream and say goodbye to the "Sweet Dream", I wasn't ready to say goodbye so Gallagher and Misha and everything about the Quest over all and Sunday's philosophy just came crashing down on me...
Finished it after hours of playing it, cried after the events that followed after defeating Sunday's boss... Now, I am not sure what to do, probably level up characters and shit like that...
P.S: Why did I get too attached to Misha, Gallagher, Tiernan, Mikhail and Razalina... 🥲😭🥹
Expect to see some angsty works, and some sahsrau in the future

Just had a fascinating realization regarding Tiernan and the greater cosmic timeline.
Firstly: We know from the v2.2 story that after Tiernan left Penacony with the Lampmoths, he was nearly killed by the Swarm but was saved by bounty hunters and joined up with the Galaxy Rangers, up until they fought and defeated Lord Ravager Zulo in a pyrrhic victory that saw the Rangers gain interastral fame but left the involved fighters becoming Sin Thirsters.
Secondly: From the Xianzhou's files about the Galaxy Rangers, we know that Zulo was eventually replaced by Lord Ravager Celenova (who is, as far as we know, still around).
Thirdly: From the Xianzhou's List of Archenemies (Lord Ravagers header), we know Lord Ravager Celenova visited the Xianzhou Zhuming to personally argue for ceasefire and seek aid in attacking a wingweaver homeworld. The important part is that this event took place around the year 5700 in the Star Calendar.
Fourth: The Trailblaze Calendar is a twelve-month timekeeping system used by the Express and the Nameless, and is HSR's equivalent to the Gregorian calendar. The Star Calendar is the system used by the Xianzhou Alliance and it's also a twelve-month system, just offset in a similar way to how the traditional calendar used in China and the western calendar are similar-but-distinct to each other.
Fifth: The Xianzhou Luofu arc happens in the year 8100 on the Star Calendar. I am trying to find a source on that but it's what the HSR wiki is going with so it's what I'm sticking with.
The endpoint of all that is that while we can't put exact dates on anything, it does mean that all the events with Tiernan and the Nameless in Penacony had to have happened at least 2400+ years ago. That's a small thing, but it's great that we're able to start putting things in the ballpark of each other like this. If we ever get a time period for Zulo's fall we can start pinning down the Prison Era itself to somewhere within a human lifetime of that fall.
(2400 years may seem like a long time but remember - we know from the Chadwick questline that people can stay "alive" in Penacony much longer than their physical bodies can by persisting through their memoria, and many characters say outright that their physical bodies have long since perished. Additionally, Granholm, the Navigator who sees off the Penacony Nameless, is heavily implied to be the last Navigator before the Express disappears and goes missing for "thousands" of years until Himeko finds and repairs it in the modern day. I wouldn't be surprised if we're looking at something like a 3000-year gap.)

HSR Penacony Spoilers
The Watchmaker and the Hound - Lucid Dreaming Era (Mikhail)
Gallagher, Mikhail, Tiernan
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The hound stepped past bins, the world around him gloomy against the bright blue dream in the sky. The doberman shifted, front paws turning into mismatched gloved hands, back paws into shoes, sleek black fur into red pants, black button up and white vest. He smoothed his shaggy brown hair back, a hand in his pocket as he looked around for someone.
“The Watchmaker is reclusive, remember that when you go to look for him, Gallagher.” Tiernan stated as he helped dress his lookalike. “Might be hard to find him at first, just look for someone with pale blue hair doing something… weird. He’s always in the dreamscape, Dreamflux Reef. Beautiful place.” Tiernan patted the man’s shoulders.
Gallagher shook his head, fiddling with a lighter in his hand as he strolled down the dull streets, nothing like how Tiernan had described. Beautiful. Sure. He rolled his eyes, pausing when a glint caught his eye. It was too high up to be his lighter. As he went to investigate, whatever it was dashed out from behind the bin, up a set of stairs towards a pavilion.
“He has a lot of dream creatures for friends, only had Razalina and I as ‘real’ friends. They’re memetic entities. Like you, except you can now live outside of dreams.” Tiernan led Gallagher down the hallway of a ship, stars twinkling below deck. “There’s one named Clockie, cute fella, always looking out for the Watchmaker’s happiness. Literally has a clock for a face. He’s startled easily, but might lead you to the Watchmaker.”
Gallagher perked, sprinting after the clock being that dashed out from the bin. If he kept Clockie in his sight, he’d find the Watchmaker. Up the stairs, round the corner, more stairs. Aeons why stairs? Gallagher puffed as he staggered up to the pavilion, the bright blue dream in the sky shining down onto the pavilion, unlike the rest of the Reef. He froze, staring in front of him. Clockie had run up to someone, pale blue hair, royal blue coat, as the man turned, the golden telescoping eye lens. There was no doubt who it was.
“E-excuse me!” Gallagher called, stepping forward as he caught the man’s and Clockie’s attention. “Are you the Watchmaker?” Gallagher watched the man walk towards him, a cane and his shoes clacking against the white concrete floor. Checking a pocket watch attached to his hip, the man looked up at Gallagher, a warm grin on his face as a silence settled between them.
“No.”
Gallagher’s heart dropped. “I am… so sorry, I thought you-” He cut himself off as the man wheezed in laughter and doubled over.
“I’m just messing with you, kid!”
Gallagher sighed. Jokester. Right.
“The name’s Mikhail Char Legwork. Didn’t think you’d have forgotten me, Tiernan.”
“O-oh I’m not… Tiernan.” Gallagher hesitated, watching the Watchmaker’s smile slowly drop. “He can’t come back. I’m sorry… but he made me to take his place, to help you and keep you company.” He continued. “Because… well- Aeons know you don’t have any living friends.” He grinned as Mikhail chuckled.
“What’s your name?”
“Gallagher.”
