Been busy doing crochet projects again and just having a very great time. I'm working on a Sampo version of Ruan Mei's Mooncake creature to crochet. If you'd like to see some of that it's under the cut.

Ruan Mei's quest, at least first part with bugs, really pissed me off.

Okay, okay, listen, it's not because she "used" us - let's be honest, there are very few characters in the story who haven't used Trailblazer to some degree - but because Stelle kept being absurdly nice to her. Like, c'mon, girl, you can't be nice to Sampo, who's 50/50 troublemaker and helpmaker (seriously, the answer options with him are "negative, negative, neutral" most of the time, even though we've been shown his positive sides numerous times), but "want to see again" the one who fed you weird drugs in the first minutes of meeting you and sent you to clean up her shit? We have both positive and negative answers for Kafka, but not a single truly negative answer for Ruan?

In cult SAGAU the creator is always revered as this kind caring god/goddess who can do no wrong and always has the best interest of Teyvat on their mind. (except for the some but they usually still have a few they care for)

What if, hear me out, the relationship is more similar to Ruan Mei and her creations from hsr. I mean it fits the setting, the people and creatures of Teyvat longs for their creator's warmth and they're just like "Huh, interesting *ignores them more*."

They built all these grand palaces and places of worship only for you to just gaze at them a bit and leave. It must leave them infuriated how they're doing all of these for you and you're just not even going to care.

Of course they'll all cope differently, some would lament, some would hate you, and some would do whatever they can to earn your attention and when those things eventually no longer earn your attention they'll go to more drastic things just to get even a slimmer of attention they crave.

Random HSR HCs that have no specific place so here they are

Halovians are simular to birds, often having different traits that depend on the type of bird.

- Corvids(like Sunday and Robin(who I choose to believe is a bluejay)) have a good eye for contrast, so are more likely to get distracted or notice shiny things

- Whilst owl like Halovians have better night vision

- water fowl have generally easier to take care of feathers, so on and so forth

Dog Dumplings(the other creature Ruan Mei makes) can be kept in a single pet house hold with proper play time requirements, but often do well in groups of 4 or 5

Warp trotters are nearly blind and focus on emotional and auditory cues which is why wild ones are more scared of people but Numby isn’t

Every single historic record + the Simulated Universe: Tayzzyronth and their creatures were so dangerous it took multiple Aeons to kill/contain them, that was after they caused great damage to the universe in relatively short time

what is ur opinion on the funny little cat creatures in hsr. i went back to hsr a few weeks ago and instead of doing any real quests i just did the quest to breed them. and spent like two hours breeding them. i love them dearly

oh my gosh my children. Literally my babies I will fight Ruan Mei for custody rights they're so cute!!! They're just silly little guys that want love and damn it I'll give it to them they're just very squishy and lovable. DM me when you finish some of the story quests I'm always down to talk about hsr

What is w permanent hsr quests you need to do to unlock super silly events and them all being kinda fucked up in comparison

You can raise cat cake creatures! (but first Ruan mei will drug you with a serum that prevents you from talking about her and you have to defeat her clone of the emanator of propagation.)

You can play a Pokémon knock off! (but first you have to prevent topaz and the ipc from colonizing jarilo-IV.)

I was going to choose Caelus because gender but.. Stelle is so pretty :((( i love her hair, i love her little face, i love everything about that creature /affectionate

First 5* Character:

Bailu!! My first child, I adore her. I started playing the same day the game launched so she was the only dragon we had, and i was so happy to have her because i love dragons. I have better sustain options now but i will love her forever (And she will probably love me too because i already got three copies or her .)

Favorite 5* Character (Story/General Characterization):

I am very sorry i don't know how to choose . Mostly Blade, Jing Yuan, Kafka, Ruan Mei, Yanqing and Gepard. These are the characters you probably will see me crying for, or because of them.. ALSO!! i know aventurine isn't out yet.. but him :(

Favorite 5* Character (Combat/Play Style):

I just got Kafka but i find the DoT playstyle so fun, so i really like her. Also the blade + jingliu combo i use on basically everything. Eventually i will be able to enhance my jing yuan with a topaz but even right now i still like playing him.

Favorite 4* Character (Story/General Characterization):

Oh this one is easy, Sampo for sure. I need this mans gender fr, he's so fun, everytime i see him in events and missions I start giggling to myself

Favorite 4* Character (Combat/Play Style):

Sushang !! She's my daughter and i love her, i love playing with her, atm she's actually the only 4* i really play bc the other ones aren't built. Still, I've been meaning to build Guinaifen because i really like to play her too

Existing character you haven't pulled yet but want:

Had to skip the Ruan Mei banner to save for the Kafka rerun </3 but also Topaz, so i can pair her with jy

Favorite 1.0 Zone (Location) - Herta Space Station, Belobog, or Xianzhou Luofu: 

i LOVE the luofu, even though it's storytelling is a bit messy.. i like the messy! i love the lore, the characters, but especially the lore. fascinated with the way the aeons are more present than the other places we've been so far, especially because i really enjoy these aeons in particular

Favorite 1.0 Zone (Story):

Even though i like it.. As i said, the Xianzhou story is weirdly paced, so i have to give this one to Belobog. It was the best possible start for the game, after leaving the space station. There's not many characters, at least not as much as the Luofu, and everything seems to fit better. (I also find the continuance to be better than the xianzhou but thats something different)

Favorite Character-Specific Quest:

I have three in mind. Yukongs quest made me cry like a baby, it rewired my brain cells, changed my chemistry, everything you can think of, it did to me. Someone let this woman be happy I'm begging. But also!! Kafka quest melted my heart, i . AUUGHHH I LOVE KAFKA- ahem. i like that everytime we talk to her, one on one, it's different from the other characters.. most of the time it looks like we're watching from the outside but not with kafka, we always see eye to eye.. Just makes it more emotional, makes her seem more vulnerable, more like a person.. I like that a lot

Character who doesn't have a quest yet, but should:

Blade and Jing Yuan. There's a chance we get both in the future, seems like we'll continue to meet the stellaron hunters so i have hopes for a blade companion quest eventually. As for JY.. If there's a day we explore the other xianzhou ships we migh get his.. but I'm unsure, maybe that's just wishful thinking

Favorite Event:

The recent life nurturing event and the belobog museum event, i tend to prefer the non battle events.. even if aertherium wars was kinda fun

Favorite path to choose in Simulated Universe: 

I always choose either Hunt or Elation

Favorite boss fight (design, combat, story relevance, whatever strikes you most): 

Without a doubt, Cocolia. The whole scene was so well made, from the trailblazer death to wilDFIRE OH MY GOD WILDIFIRE i am very . normal . about wildfire . i swear. but really, it was my most played song of the year, that moment was so emotional i just wish i could do it again for the first time

Favorite Aeon:

Aha my beloved . I also like Yaoshi a lot (they're literally my lockscreen) but oh my. Aha. I love aha with all of my heart, I'd dedicate my life to that guy, the vibes are impeccable. Anything relating to aha and/or the masked fools has my undying love

Favorite non-playable NPC:

Since we don't have him playable yet, Stephen. We just got stephen crumbs in gold and gears and i LoveHim. i want to give him a little kiss on the forehead, he's my beloved. special mentions to baiheng as well, my girl deserves more attention

Favorite non-romantic relationship (friends, enemies, complicated, whatever):

I have so many . Between two people? I really like Herta + Ruan Mei andGuinaifen + Sushang. Groups?? Too many. The Simulated Universe gang (Ruan Mei Herta Screwllum and Stephen), the Stellaron Hunters, High Cloud Quintet (does it count?? xingyue is romantic but there's also everyone else). Special mentions to Yanqing and JY and Yanqing and Jingliu, because hhhhhhhh im going to make a post about what i think of them later .

Favorite ship (if any - canon is irrelevant here, btw, this is all vibes): 

Xingyue (Not renheng, xingyue especially), Sampard and Aventio, these three got me reading fanfic at ungodly hours of the nigh again, i feel 14

Plot thread you're most looking forward to seeing in the future: 

definitely more xianzhou ships, i want to see how different ships are, and difference in cultures inside the alliance
