How would be like if there existed a hsi wu x harpy s/o headcanons?

I not certain but i feel like it could be funny and maybe wholesome sometimes, especially if the s/o harpy make those cute owl sounds or be silly like one

First things first your relationship Enemy's to lovers

Due to your harpy nature you have a tendency to collect things, in short you absolutely love pretty stones, shiny objects and odd trinkets and you have become very good at getting them

Because of your love for shiny things you end up falling on the morally grey spectrum. And as such you have been roped into joining a few of the dark hands schemes after they promise you a cut of the loot.

Jade often uses your love for pretty things against you. And will either convince you to switch sides at the last minute or ultimately foil the latest scheme that your currently helping with. Needless to say Valmont is not very happy with you when this happens.

Uncle see you as an absolute menace as you have a tendency to seal antiques from his shop and there have been multiple occasion's where he has chased you off with a broom. Jackie is usually the one who is sent to retrieve the items you have stolen

Luckily you've been able to keep the location of your nest a secret as its hidden high up within an old bell town near the edge of the city. But that means unfortunately for Jackie he's not able to get back every item you've stolen

You and Hsi wu ended up meeting during one of the dark hands attempts to release him and his siblings. After successfully opening the portal and releasing Hsi wu in the process, along with him losing his tail. You all decide it's time to make a speedy retreat heading back to base to regroup and form you next move. A few hours go by before Hsi wu makes his appearance, and upon meeting again officially for the second time Hsi wu wastes no time insulting your wings and capabilities before promoting you to the role of servant expecting you to cater to his every need. You of course protest but Shendu immediately goes along with this idea as he'll do anything to placate his siblings for the time being and the rest of the dark hand is just as useless. Luckily you don't have to deal with him too much as he is focused on getting his tail back but that doesn't mean you're not given a long list of tasks that he expects to be done or else. eventually enough is enough and it's then you decide it's time to switch sides. It's at this point Hsi wu has succeeded in taking back his tail and capturing uncle and it's then you decide its time you enact your rebellion. Grabbing both uncle and Hsi wu's tail you take off flying as fast as you can with Hsi wu in hot pursuit, and so begins an elaborate game of keep away with you juggling both uncle and Hsi wu tail. You manage to keep him occupied until you finally spot Jackie, Jade and Tohru so after quickly dropping uncle off and forming an even quicker plan to lure Hsi wu to the top of a nearby sky scraper to perform the banishing spell, your off again narrowly avoiding being caught by an extremely pissed off demon. You play a few more rounds of keep away with jade joining in with the help of the rabbit and rooster talisman, before you finally see that Jackie, Tohru and uncle have made it to the designated spot, but unfortunately so has the dark hand have and Jackie is in the middle of fighting them off while uncle prepares the spell. But it is at that moment when everything goes wrong as Hsi wu has finally caught up to you and has managed to take his tail back but before you can banish him back to the demon realm during the fight the flute ends up breaking leaving Hsi wu optimal time to get away. With the plan having failed and the sky demon now properly on the loose you decide it's time to retreat for the time being.

After the hectic events of the day your completely exhausted and want nothing more than to possibly sleep for a week. So you decide to head back to your nest knowing that you won't be welcome at the dark hands headquarters any time soon. Little did you know that your currently being followed. Hsi wu manages to follow you back to your nest where he lances a surprise attack and since you're at a disadvantage, he subsequently takes over, chasing you out. This results in you going to the Chans to propose a temporary alliance. Jade is the only one who wants to hear you out, as despite the fact that earlier that day you saved him uncle is immediately against it and tries to get Tohru to kick you out and when that fails he goes for his broom. It takes Jackie a while to calm the situation down but eventually even he agrees to your alliance despite uncles warnings that it will end badly. so for the time being your on team Chan.

You’re a lot craftier than Hsi wu expected now that you're on the enemies side the dark hand is really struggling with carrying out its plans to release his other siblings. As it often falls to you to create distractions or steal certain items so by the time they realise what's happening its often too late

You both tease each other relentlessly, originally it started out as malicious, tit for tat, but after a while it turns playful, insults turn into clear quips, harmful pranks turn to silly ones, violent fights start looking more like sparing matches and instead of one leading the other into harm's way you're both looking out for one another not that either of you will admit it

Sky chases, a lot of the fights between you two involve chasing each other through the sky trying to out fly one another before inevitably engaging in hand to hand combat. Hsi wu will often dive bomb you right out of the sky slamming into you so hard you create a crater when you hit the ground and in retaliation you will lead him into hard to fly areas which often leads him to getting trapped or knocking into something. eventually it evolved into a weird game of tag where your both trying to see who can out manoeuvre the other.

You also end up inadvertently playing chicken quite a lot, as your both quite stubborn and neither of you are willing to let the other supposedly "win" even if this means you're about to crash into something at top speed.

has tried sneaking up on you quite a few occasions but due to your excellent hearing and the fact that you can swivel your head 360 degrees he almost always fails. In fact there are times when you'll swivel your head on purpose as you know it freaks him out.

You also have the habit of acting especially silly around him as you know it annoys him cooing and chirping and overall acting like a total goofball.

He thinks you look ridiculous whenever you spread your wings and fluff up in an attempt to look intimidating, and has started calling you fluff ball because of it.

He loves to hear you sing. Originally he found out about your singing ability by accident. he discovered your talent during the early days of your relationship back when you were still at each other's throats. as he was originally planning on ambushing you when he caught you mid song and completely forgot about his plans to attack. From then on he's constantly trying to hear you sing again

At one point he ends up breaking one of your wings during a fight. Your fight were pretty much followed a certain routine at this point so you weren’t prepared to suddenly be knocked from the sky's and into a nearby tree falling badly in the process and breaking your wing in three places. so for the time being you stuck on bed rest until your wing is fully healed and it's during this time Hsi wu realise that he misses your presence to the point where he ends up seeking you out. Meanwhile your taking a break from the chaos that always seem to follow the Chan fam chilling on the rooftop of uncle's shop and enjoying the night air, you don't expect to be suddenly joined by the sky demon himself. Thinking he's come looking for a fight you take up a fighting stance despite the fact that your wing is still healing, Only to get brushed off as Hsi wu reveals he's not come here for a fight. After that the conversation becomes slightly awkward with him subtly trying to gage how you are before the tension finally breaks and you end up talking for a good portion of the night.

It's from there that your relationship slowly starts to change

He actually becomes quite protective of you. He'll start going easy on you in fights, Subtly looking out for you, and if it looks like you're in danger or about to get badly hurt he'll step in. not too obviously though after all at this point in time he's got a reputation to keep and he can't have people think that he going soft for you, so in these moments he'll either redirect your attention onto him or subtly sabotage your opponent so you're not hurt too badly. There was an incident when Tchang Zu was released. where for some reason the thunder demon seemed to have it out for you putting a massive target on your back. ok so you supposed that it was technically your fault as Tchang Zu seems to have a really short fuse, that you were doing everything in your power to set it off. So you can't say you were surprised when the thunder demon vowed to take revenge on you, what was surprising was to be suddenly kidnapped mid fight by Hsi wu as he snatched you up right before you were about to be struck by a particularly nasty bolt of lightning. carrying you off and to somewhere safe and refusing to let you go back and join the fight

Shendu is the first one to realise he's got a soft spot for you. And like all siblings do he takes absolute delight in tormenting Hsi wu teasing him relentlessly and he is not above using his feelings towards you as blackmail. Valmont and the rest of the dark hand crew know better than to tease him, they did it once and it did not end well for them. However they are also the only ones who are actively trying to help him get in your good books as outside of blackmail Shendu could not care about his brothers love life. It's mainly Ratso, Chow and Finn who make suggestions as they have worked with you for some time now and have a pretty good idea about what you do and don’t like

Officially getting together in the most dramatic fashion. At the time your still on team Chan and the dark hand has successfully released another one of Shendu's siblings. It's in the ensuing fight were things go horribly wrong. Uncle has successfully preformed the spell this time sending dai gui back to the demon realm only for you to get caught in the cross fire and suddenly you find yourself being dragged back into the portal. Your about half way through the portal when you feel someone grab onto your arms pulling you out as you hang on for dear life. The portal closes and you both end up tumbling to the ground in a tangled mess of limbs and your shock to see that your rescuer is none other than Hsi wu. After a little bit of awkwardness and confusion it is then that you both finally admit your feelings for one another. Only to immediately feel mortified afterwards as you realised you just confessed your feelings in front of not only the dark hand but the Chans as well . Hsi wu does not care he's just happy that your finally his.

After that you both decided to ditch everyone and go off on own. As your still in the dark hands bad books and there is no way Jackie and the fam will ever be ok with Hsi wu roaming free especially since he has no desire to go good anytime soon. Which your more than ok with as it was staring to get boring being a goodie two shoes all the time anyway. Needless to say Jackie and family are not happy with this development and uncle won't let go of the fact that he was right all along telling Jackie "I told you so"

Taking care of each other's wings. Hsi wu helps you with grooming your feathers, straitening them out and removing the damaged ones. however unlike you his wings don't have any feathers for you to groom but that doesn't mean that you can help in other ways, so you end up giving him a lot of wing massages. they are made up of muscles after all so they do have a tendency to cramp or become very stiff which is where you come in loosening any knots and helping with any strain

Also shielding each other from different types of weather for example whenever it starts to rain heavily Hsi wu will use his wings as an umbrella to keep you both dry, often he will uses this as an excuse to pull you onto his lap and cuddle and in return whenever there is a cold snap you end up using your feathers to help keep him warm wrapping your wings around him and cuddling up close to help him fight the chill

Once you two are close he'll start bringing you shiny things and materials for your nest. he even helps you with stealing item's that you've taken a fancy to, needless to say uncle is not happy about this development

Kissing isn't something that you two do very often. Preferring instead to show our affection for one another through nuzzling. Though the one exception to this is forehead kisses as Hsi wu absolutely loves to give you forehead kisses.

Ganging up in shendu together as both of you are holding a bit of a grudge towards the fire demon. Hsi wu because he had to endure all of his brothers teasing and you because of your overall treatment from him. but now the shoe is on the other foot and Shendu has to put up with being the butt of every joke that you two share

Sky naps, sometimes Hsi wu will use some minor magic to enable the both of you to sleep on clouds. This quickly becomes your favourite activity and napping spots

Uses his tail to mess with you, tripping you up so that he can catch you. As well as pull you close whenever he wants a cuddle

Thinks it's cute whenever he catches you admiring yourself in a mirror as you have a tendency to do the classic owl head bob while looking at yourself

Accidently nicking each other with your claws. It's no joke your both supporting some serious talons that are capable of doing some major damage. But despite the your both very careful with each other it doesn’t mean you don't have little accidents every now and then.

Helping him escape the Chans as they haven't stop trying to send him back to the demon realm. But as long as he is a reasonable distance way or uncle is missing a key component for the spell your fine. After a certain point you both start researching ways to keep him for being permanently banished for good.

Sorry this took so long I hope that this is ok it's been a while since I watched the show (not me re-watching the entirety of season 2 for this request) so I hope I didn't make Hsi wu to ooc and you don't mind me straying for the cannon too much. Anyway I really hope you enjoy it and thank you for liking my stuff ^_^
