Fine Line: "We'll be alright."
There is something so cathartic about this line. At every listen, it feels like a good stab that my heart needed so that I could finally set every troubling emotion I've been straining to keep free.
The song begins with sentimental guitar strings—as if a small triggering memory that would then spin emotionally and necessarily out of control. The instrumentation gets louder and intense and overwhelming... drums, sirens, trumpets... and at the end of it all, in strong resolve, Harry promises: we'll be alright.

Stop leaking and spreading harry styles unreleased songs because of your hidden shipping agendas. It's disrespectful. There's a reason he didn't. You'll are literally diminishing the value of his efforts, art and work. So not cool. I really hope he would speak up one Day and tell everyone off like other musicians instead of being so polite tbh.

If you didn't know, the National Rail network has several stations that are technically still open despite having no service. These include:
Barlaston, Wedgewood and (previously) Norton Bridge.
These are all on the line between the west coast mainline and Stoke. These stations (along with Stone) were closed during upgrade work to the WCML to allow for pendolino to be used on the route. Stone has so far been the only one to regain train service, and Norton Bridge is the only one to be officially closed albiet over a decade after losing service. Barlaston and Wedgewood received a (now discontinued) rail replacement bus for over a decade and at least one of them is still set to reopen. Their last rail service was 2006.
Teeside Airport
Oh, an airport station! How is this (basically) closed? Well there's two main reasons. Teeside Airport is not a big airport with ~225,000 passengers a year. The station is also a 15 mibute walk away from the station along a service road. Trains slowly stopped serving the station, then stopped serving in one direction when the airport owner stopped funding maintenance for the footbridge and then stopped serving altogether when the airport refused to pay for repairs. Well done guys great job here. A new station from the airport is to be built using money from the cancelled HS2. Great... love that.
IBM
Built to serve an IBM factory. The IBM factory shut and now it just serves an abandoned industrial area. The station lost its service to prevent antisocial behavior but remains technically open in case of redevelopment. I hope it keeps its name if it reopens, it's unique.
Redcar British Steel
Served the British Steel plant outside of Redcar. The plant closed and now it's just in a field surrounded by industrial property. You legally cannot leave the station on foot. There is no road. I think it just remains open because the paperwork is a faf.
Sampford Courtenary
I don't think this station technically reopened? This station is on the Okehampton line which was a heritage line up until recently. It was served by heritage trains and special summer service trains from GWR up until the heritage lines collapse during the pandemic. The line was then acquired by Network Rail and Okehampton now recieves regular service, however with no intention of serving Sampford. I guess it counts? It might be replaced by a new Okehampton Parkway station but I think that's up in the air rn.
Altnabreac
This is one of many stations on the Far North line in the middle of nowhere. It is currently closed due to a land access dispute on the only path to the station (common land ownership L). It will reopen once this is resolved.
Weymouth Quay
This station served boats departing from Weymouth until they stopped in the 1980s. The lined remained open for rail tours for a while but the track was pulled up in 2021. They never bothered legally closing the station though and it has now been demolished.
Stanlow and Thornton
This station serves an industrial area. It was served a parliamentary service until the footbridge used to access the station became unsafe and no one wanted to repair it. They'll totally fix it one day guys trust 👍
Manchester United Football Ground
Glorified siding with platform served on match days by a shuttle service. Services were withdrawn by request of Manchester United for health and safety concerns. No one bothered actually closing it but I guess it could reopen?

"He had a 2 and a half year gap between hs1 and hs2 and hs2 and hs3 and I think it'll have at least that between hs3 and hs4, if not a full three years."
I can see him going for the full three years so he can have a May release again and be in a good position for 2025 end of year lists. It would also build anticipation and his fans would go wild buying vinyl after so long without new music. Let's hope that's what he does so we're spared any AIW type songs for another two years LOL
He's touring now. Doesn't he have to film his 25 Marvel movies? When would he have time to release, promote, and tour another album?
Is he not going to make anymore Marvel appearances any time soon? He's going to age out of the role if they wait too long.

I feel like that criticism or I guess just the observation that the quality of his music isn’t caught up to who he is as a famous celebrity has become a common thought~ cos I’ve seen/heard that brought up elsewhere still even with harrys house. It’s interesting cos I do feel like the chronically online fandom is mixed on the album esp those who are long-time fans but there’s no denying the album has reached an audience beyond said fandom.
I feel like he will release an album that will make those people eat their words eventually, however I also know that with that would come back-handed af compliments and critics are prone to doing that with him already 😑
yeah i mean that review is from 2017 about his debut album which i think is an interesting and in my opinion fairly accurate assessment of some of the songs on that album. some of the lyrics about women on that album are shaky and generic and caricature-esque for me. which makes sense, he was going from writing songs with more people for 4-5 people to sing at once for a younger audience so he was used to writing more general, universal lyrics about people.
it is always interesting when it gets brought up now because the general public reallly loooves to have an opinion on him for some reason and its a very different experience to be someone who grew up watching him in 1d when he was very public with his personality and you knew what he was about right away vs now when he really keeps to himself despite how massively famous he has become so people tend to project a TON onto him. like he became monstrously famous over 2021-2022 but still was very private. like pictures of him were everywhere & his songs were everywhere & he was very outgoing on tour but wasn't doing any mainstream promo anything. wasn't posting to social media except for a concert pic a day and in the overexposed world we live in rn people have a really hard time with that and just make lots of assumptions about him. and he didnt make it any easier on himself to have some of the only times he did speak to publications/in video interviews in 2022 have some shaaaky quotes given the circumstances he was in that the internet just ate him alive for.
so i think people are expecting his music to reveal who he is which i think it does? and i just think people will never be happy. like i suppose i can see how if you never knew anything about him, saw that hes everywhere in 2022 and listened to harrys house youd maybe be skeptical about his lyrics, some of them are super basic but also people love to be haters
and i think overall his writing has gotten far more personal from hs1 to hs2 to hs3 (though i think lyrically hs2 is his best by far) and i'm not sure what people are expecting him to do? like i think hes always been quite good at writing about himself and his flaws/insecurities and that has only gotten better over time. he's also writing with kid and tyler and sometimes singing about their experiences as well as his own. ive gone off the rails here
