As someone that's read dozens of BL aimed at teens with sexless romance between high school boys, whenever I see someone thanking or praising HS for handling Nick and Charlie's first time 'with care' and 'respect' it really jades me out.

These first time scenes are not new, it's been done before, and it's been done in BL from Japan.

Severely neglected component of modernish rockstar Eddie fics is Robin deciding to become an internet hater for Eddie. Like she finds out Eddie is semi/famous and is like "oh, you know what'll be hilarious?" And makes a twitter account dedicated to dissing him. You cannot convince me she wouldn't. Eddie knows she runs the account (it's not even negative it's just to rag on him. Tweets like "Eddie Munson seems like the kind of guy who would tell his friend he'll get her dr pepper and then get some bullshit knockoff. What the hell is a peppo" and "Eddie Munson has probably gotten so distracted by his SO that he walked into a wall and then was still so distracted said SO thought he was concussed." Or "Jeff is actually the best member of CC Eddie probably walked on cafeteria tables in HS" And of course "everybody says I hate on Eddie too much but they don't know he woke his SOs bff up just to ask if there was any peppo left. Twice.") But he can't do anything about it. It's a bit of a meme, because the account never says anything actually mean about Eddie, or his music. Just. Bizarre hypotheticals. i cannot for the life of me make a decision about this, so do you have any headcanons on opinions on what banks would've been like if she had gone to high school ?? what tropes or clichés she would've been closest to embodying ?? because we know em was a nerd, that winter struggled for the obvious reasons but ultimately was fine in hs and fairly normal, rika was decently popular but far from the cheerleader level... but banks, i can't place what she would've been like if she'd gone to high school. we know she's very smart, but i can't see her as someone holed up in a library. then, we can also probably deduce that if she had gone to high school, damon would've been crazy protective but i still can't really make a set decision on much else regarding how banks' storyline/personality would've gone if she did indeed attend Thunder Bay prep or some other high school, minus these small details.

i do think she & emory would've got on like a house on fire if she attended TBP as they would've been in the same grade and probably had similar opinions on high school hierarchy and the horsemen and general thunder bay weirdness and extravagancy. they would've dissed people so thoroughly and easily with their quips and banter, for sure.

Ohh I have thought about this.

It can go so many ways, because as same with Emory, the debate is "was she naturally someone different and the circumstances made her this way? Or is it that she survived the circumstances because this is who she is naturally?"

Did Banks do so well in Gabriel's house because that's who she is, or did being in that house make her that way. In Hideaway, she mentions that she never cut her long hair because it was the last part of "Nikova." Additionally, her struggle with Damon is wanting to be her own person and to experience things other teenagers - normal teenagers - experience. But if she were a normal teenager, would she still value those experiences, or would they be mundane and expected?

I chose to think High School AU Banks would fall somewhere in the middle. She'd still be a bit of a tom-boy, and a bit of a rebel. In my AUs, she still lives with Lucinda, but Damon wants her close, so Gabriel pays for her to attend TBP. She's smart, but not without effort. She's not afraid to get involved throw down if she sees something she doesn't like. She's careful, though, and never throws the first punch, so she can always claim self-defense. It's helpful that she's a bit of a sarcastic smart ass and naturally skilled at goading people.

In school, she'd appear to be generally nonchalant about stuff, but she actually has a lot of opinions. It comes as a surprise to the teachers, who were not expecting Damon Torrance's younger sister to be so... outspoken. And argumentative.

Having a bit more freedom, and hopefully a healthy relationship with her brother, she’d probably be known for fighting with Damon in the halls over how protective he is. Like, he can’t even let her project partner talk to her without going all big brother on her.

Seriously, get a life, dude. Maybe if you had as much confidence talking to your little dancer friend as you do telling me what to do, you’d actually have a girlfriend. Newsflash, bro, there are certain things I can’t and won’t do for you.

I don’t see her wanting to participate in any extracurricular activities, but with a school like Thunder Bay Prep, it would probably be expected. I can’t see her wanting to be on a team, so Girl’s Basketball probably isn’t a good match…

Oh. You know, with her being a bit of a sleuth in Hideaway and tailing Kai to get his routine, she’d probably make a good Yearbook photographer. Or maybe working on their school paper. Maybe something along those lines that keeps her out of the spotlight. Though, I don't know what Banks would want to do growing up. Maybe she does go into student government, wanting to make changes that actually make sense and benefit the students, instead of planting a tree as the senior gift for the fifth year in a row (do these people even know what they could do with this much money, or do they only know how to add when it's involving cases of beer and tits?). Maybe she does it because she's tired of seeing Chloe get everything and wanted to challenge her, and then sort of accidentally ended up class president.

Actually, I like that...Emory makes fun of her for it all the time.

Speaking of Emory, they are best friends. Both come from more humble backgrounds, which would naturally make them targets for bullies, but not this time. Because the whole school knows wherever Emory goes, Banks is close by. And wherever Banks is, Damon is close by. And wherever Damon is, the Horsemen are close by. Not to mention, Will is a horseman, and he’s always close to wherever Emory is…

Not that Banks and Em need them. They're pretty good with the tongue lashings, themselves.

Without a doubt, Banks goes to every single one of Emmy’s activities to show support. She hangs out when Emmy’s working on her projects, and helps when she needs a hand. They both have a crush on a Horseman, but they only talk (read: tease each other) about that when they can guarantee no one can hear them.

I headcanon Banks, Emmy, and Elle are a pretty solid trio. Emmy's smart and artsy, Elle's a soft-hearted romantic, always talking about dating but never taking her own advice, and Banks plays the rebel without a cause who loves her two friends.

Matty Healy's villain origin story is that he’s a nepo baby “Artiste” that was passed by the major labels. Meanwhile Harry grew up nearby and was signed for £20m by a major label off a TV show. MH has been low key obsessed with Harry, eventually dated his girlfriend, dumped her and she said she had temporary insanity. He said they never dated in 2014, doing so would be emasculating and he released a HS diss track at the time. In 2024 he said TTPD does not reflect the relationship they had.

MHs parents are actors Tim Healy and Denise Welch, overseas 1D fans may know his mum from this Loose Women interview with 1D. His parents had a messy public divorce covered in Tabloids.

1999 - When his mum was featured on This is Your Life, in this clip, 10 year old Matty said he wanted to be "a popstar and top class musician" with his mum looking tense.

2002 - the 1975 was formed with school friends in Manchester, it will be 10 years before they have success.

2016, March to Q Magazine, (and widely reported) Matty said:

“I feel like I’m not very good at relationships,” he’d said, and I wondered why. Healy explained the jumble of reasons – insecurity, self-obsession, a fear of misrepresentation. I'm skipping ahead a few years, Matty brings Taylor and Harry up alot, like in random interviews with Zane Lowe, Nick Grimshaw etc. But the vibe is often separating him from success. I wonder if he is also reminding others he knows them.

12 April Harry maybe shades Matty in his Rolling Stone Interview:

On 5 January they were in Real World Studios (i.e. not Electric Lady with Jack) and the record was complete by 14 February 2022. It is an album made to be played live and Jack did not write lyrics, under 6 weeks is about right. There are rumours of a collab which Matty both says it is fake news he worked on Midnights and then that he did but it wasn't used. Taylor never acknowledged.

Taehyung and jungkook's relationship is overlooked by 90% of the fandom solely because they are so controlled by the narrative of the fandom/company that they cannot quite accept that anything outside is even a remote possibility. It's quite evident if u observe close enough of the pattern on how this group of seven guys who genuinely love music is marketed you would understand to what extent you're being brainwashed. Im not talking about this like a conspiracy theorist. It's quite simple and right infront of you. Yall refuse to accept it that's all.

1. There are a certain set of stories that are made to be told by them, over and over again. Even if it disturbs them or they are bored. E.g: 2018 disbandment story, vmin dumpling incident, jikook rain fight/tokyo trip, mind you there are many things that happend between people who lived together for 10+ yrs but if it cuts the flow of events you are made to believe happened you aren't gonna hear from it, ever.

2. Like stories there are dynamics that each pair is supposed to portray Taegi as annoying/annoyed duo, taejin/jikook as flirty HS boyfriends, namseok/taekook the awkward old friends and no matter how much the relationships change or evolve you won't see it cuz again, it won't FIT the narrative that has already been shown.

3. Like relationships there are characteristics that thankfully some members chose to break out of during their solo era: hoseok always being sunshine and loud ( he's quite serious and very dedicated infact ), jungkook being that muscle dude who only knows how to follow his Hyungs ( he's very independent and has a lot of targets he wants to achieve individually, he's very thoughtful and organized) and Taehyung being WEIRD and weak ( he's extremely intelligent and super strong he's strategic and disciplined)

4. This brings us to the whole Taekook narrative, the fact that they've been seen so much during solo era yet people had the audacity to still call them distant and awkward solely cuz it wasn't via company but through Taehyung's ig or jungkook mentioning him in interviews etc. I think it's needless to say they aren't comfortable being touchy and showy on camera for content, hell if they were to shoot everytime Taehyung and jungkook hangout there would he enough CONTENT till 2067. They're supportive of eo and have a very big shared friend circle, when jungkook went missing for almost 2 months we got to know Taehyung was the one he was with.

5. The thing is everyone [ including my own sister ] thinks that Taehyung is being desperate or such whenever he mentions Taehyung cuz a. Yall have actually led jokers run so fucking rampant that everytime the man mentions him actually doing something you're ready to throw him under the bus and call him a liar or such. b. Im not saying jungkook isn't close to anyone else but when he isn't working or shooting content and just wants to be himself the one you saw him most was around Taehyung and yes it matters. In the name of hating shippers yall have not only dissed the quite frankly PRIVATE bond they seem to share but went as far as dissing Taehyung himself cuz of the extreme level of manipulation yall are under.

Aproveitando a viagem da minha esposa pra comer a cunhadinha gostosa. (fev-2024)

Apesar do meu desejo secreto, jamais tinha dado em cima da minha cunhadinha. Ela chegou lá em casa toda molhada da chuva e espirrando, então ofereci uma toalha e disse para ela ir tomar banho enquanto eu preparava um café bem quente para nós tomarmos, pois já estava na hora em que eu tomo o meu café ao entardecer.

Ela foi ao banho e eu fiquei dando uma olhada pela fechadura, o meu pau endureceu no ato. Depois desci e preparei a mesa, quando ela ficou pronta dei uma muda de roupas da minha patroa que é irmã dela, mas é bem mais alta e encorpada, logo as roupas não serviram, então dei um roupão para ela enquanto colocamos as roupas dela na secadora.

Então enquanto tomamos o café, ficamos falando de assuntos de trabalho, pois atuamos em áreas semelhantes e o papo foi fluindo.

Quando vimos já era 21:00 hs e as roupas ainda não tinham secado, e a chuva não tinha cessado. Ela ligou para a minha sogra e disse que estava lá em casa e explicou o que tinha acontecido e que iria ficar mais um pouco lá em casa.

Depois de um tempo ela disse que estava com calor e eu ofereci uma camiseta da minha exposa, que ela prontamente colocou e ficou só de calcinha na parte de baixo, foi quando eu notei que não era só eu que tinha desejos secretos em relação a ela.

Depois ela começou a me punhetar de novo, eu pedi para ela chupar meu pau e ela disse que tinha nojo, mas que ia tentar pois tinha achado muito gostoso a chupada que eu dei na xana dela. Ela começou meio que mordendo o meu pau, mas logo já estava colocando toda a vara na boca e babando bastante conforme eu ia pedindo para ela fazer, chupava todo o cacete tirava e botava todo até a garganta de novo, tirava lambia as bolas e cuspia e babava cada vez mais no pau.

Foi assim por uns quinze minutos até eu esvair em porra na boquinha da cadela, ela cuspiu tudo e ficou braba por eu não ter avisado que iria gozar.

Isso quebrou um pouco o clima, mas eu me desculpei e comecei a alisar a bucetinha dela outra vez, e logo fui bombando para dentro daquela xaninha, meio apertada mas entrou tudo e começamos um belo vai e vem bem molhado, e a buceta ia encharcando cada vez mais, ela gozava intensamente e eu botava e tirava todo o cacete e botava de novo, estocando ela bem gostoso.

Dessa vez avisei que iria gozar, e ela disse para não gozar dentro pois não toma anticoncepcional, então para minha surpresa ela pegou a minha vara e começou a chupar com gosto até eu gozar na boquinha dela, e dessa vez ela bebeu tudo e depois chupou o pau e deixou ele bem limpinho.

Fomos descansar um pouco e logo retomamos, e ela disse que queria vara no cú, pois não aguentava mais de vontade de ter o rabo preenchido por um cacete.

Eu disse que o desejo dela era uma ordem então pequei o KY e besuntei a minha rola e comecei a chupar aquele cuzinho e o deixei bem babado, depois passei um pouco de gel e comecei a forçar o cabeçudo a entrar naquela rosquinha deliciosa, foi dificil e até achei que não entraria, mas fui forçando até passar, quando passou ela deu um grito de dor e tesão e disse para eu estocá-la fundo no cuzinho, e ai foi, eu tirava todo o cacete e via aquele cuzinho arrombado e depois botava de novo, tirava cuspia e botava de novo, e enquanto isso ia alisando a xexequinha dela que estava gozando rios de licor. E eu continuei bombando aquele rabo delicioso por uma meia hora, até encher aquele buraquinho de porra quentinha, deitamos e dormimos por umas duas horas desfalecidos na cama.

Quando acordei, fui tomar banho e vi que a secadora ainda estava ligada.

No outro dia, minha cunhadinha acordou e continuava chovendo, levei ela até o serviço e combinei de buscá-la no final da tarde e levaria o carro dela para arrumar. E durante a semana ela tomou café da tarde todos os dias lá em casa, mas o melhor era a sobremesa…

i did natural sciences in highschool in anticipation to go to med school

realised after a breakdown in my second year of hs that i wasnt suited to go to med school, so applied for a civil engineering course in biochem

realised 3/4 of my first year at uni that i really really really didn't want to end up working in the medical field at all and that every course bored me to death and i was failing my exams as a result

dropped out of uni

wanted to study english literature but was denied to do so in sweden due to not taking enough literature courses in HS (because i was a natural sciences major and took 6 courses in maths instead), so applied across the UK

didnt end up getting a spot in any of the prestigious unis i wanted to go to, so ended up in my "settle" uni

my settle uni was one of only two unis i had applied to that offers pre-honours undergrads to change their major no issue

switch from english literature to english langauge and linguistics in my 2nd year because linguistics was the only thing i did well in (because it was the only interesting course for me)

planned to do a dissertation in psycholinguistics so took several courses in preparation to do that

realised that my volunteering work with an interfaith charity (that i'd started working with only because i needed Non-Uni Friends) had raised a really interesting question about the linguistic assumption that ethnicity > religion in minority community speech and identity construal

did my diss in sociolinguistics + theology

enquired about postgrad funding because im a filthy first gen working class university graduate so couldn't self-fund and had no family contacts to rely on

managed to get funding by some fucking miracle to continue the initial research i did for my undergrad

extended my masters because i was hospitalised for hilarious transgender sex related injuries

finally started my phd
