Changing Starlight PT.2

Selene entered their library, still grumbling. As they started skimming the books they noticed one seemed oddly out of place. The cover was bright and stood out starkly against the various other books with dark depictions on the spine. The words “Various Names and Meanings of Human Sexuality and Mind” seemed to draw her in, if almost by magic.

Opening the cover, Selene discovered writing on the inner cover.

Some time had passed as Selene eagerly read on and on. Learning many things they had never even heard of before. As they started a new chapter, they paused “How Gender May relate To The Body”. Somewhat apprehensive, Selene continues on.

Halfway though the chapter Selene froze.

the days activities are finished and everyone is relaxing together at the table..

As Teddy looks around the table people start looking back..

Then it becomes sad….

The room gets darker, Teddy’s eyes rest on their father…

It was all a dream…

Teddy had only dreamt of the day before, if his mum and dad were there…

The Living Room:

Fleur shakes her head in disagreement as the living room door opens.

Teddy: It was just a bad dream..

Once Vic sees that Teddy is upset she immediately shows her concern

In The Kitchen…

Hugo: its a masterpiece…

As the three Weasleys left the kitchen Teddy couldn’t help but think over the word “parent”

Teddy: Fine.. it was abut yesterday..

The two share a hug then head back to the living room. The rest of the day if filled with laughter, turkey sandwiches and maybe a few stolen kisses from under the magical mistletoe.
