It's still the 15th, which means it's also @lumosatnight's birthday!

I'm so lucky to have Lani as a fandom friend, and I'm super impressed and proud of everything they've done for our lovely magical community. The energy Lani has brought to microfic creations and sapphics ships has been tremendous and what they've cultivated for us through servers and fests has been what we've all needed for ages (thanks for spoiling us!). Also, their humour and enthusiasm always brightens up my day, either via the HP Sapphics server, DMs or their posts that pop up on my dash. So, here's some tiny art I made to go with Lani's lovely Narlily series, A Consolation (E, 1.6k, with 32 microfics from Microfic May, HP Femslash Microfics and HP Flowers). What an impressive and mind-blowing group of microfics these are (together and on their own), considering how few words were used for each one to tell such an angsty (and spicy) story. Kuddooos! There's so much potential that can be explored with this lovely ship because Narcissa and Lily are 100% playing with fire with their attraction to each other, and it's sooo gooddd! ANYWAYY. Spring Flowers Flourishing on May 1st!

HP Flowers is back for some more flowery fun this year! The Spring Round of the challenge is set to run from May 1 - May 31, 2023. As a refresher, this challenge is inspired by floriography, the language of flowers (and plants) and encourages creators to use text and photo prompts to make fic, art and more. A few minor updates have been made to the Guidelines and FAQ pages, so please take a look for 2023 general challenge info, as well as details for the timeline, creating/submitting works, and more. A couple of things to highlight for this year are as follows: >> Creators can combine 2023 prompts with any 2022 prompts. Feel free to mix things up from the 2022 Spring Round or 2022 Autumn Round (or hey, both!) >> Creation types have been expanded for the challenge to include microfics, poetry, origami and bookbindings!

Prompt cards will be officially released on May 9th (less than a couple of weeks)! If you have a question that isn’t covered by this post or either of the above pages, feel free to ask!
