According to John Bickerstaff, whose production of Willow is on the list, this is Disney’s way to get out of paying residuals in the middle of the WGA Strike that began May 2, 2023 and is still ongoing.

Ok... headcanon:

Howard Rockerduck's been Governor of Calisota for a time.

I always liked to think the Rockerduck family's been involved in politics somehow and being Howard the most influential duck in Calisota it makes sense he may have been governor. We know nothing of Calisota governors, only some quick mentions here and there, and Duckburg's supposed to be the capital of Calisota... shouldn't there be an official residence of the governor or something? 🤷 Anyway...

Howard actually died in a plane crash as he was heading to Mouseton (?) for... reasons (?). He and the pilot died on impact in the outskirts of Quacktown right after takeoff. Grandma Ducks does remember hearing the distant blast of the crash.

Their death's been classified as suspicious since there are some evidence that suggest the presence of a bomb aboard. John always rejected any speculation of foul play and refuses to talk about it. He's firmly convinced it was, in fact, an incident despite many suggesting otherwise. (He just can't accept his father's been murdered).

Also, John was quite young when this happened and this is not really my headcanon here: it's very likely Howard died when John was still in his early twenties. In I denari del giovane Rockerduck (2023) it is hinted that Howard wasn't feeling well at all when John attended university and straight up told John he was gonna inherit everything very soon, so it is safe to assume he died shortly after John graduated (plane crash or not).

As Governor of Calisota Howard had made many enemies, one of which was Flitheart Glomgold (maybe he tried to limit some of Glomgold's industrial plan in Calisota by devoting part of the State's budget to other priorities?) but no irrefutable evidence of his involvement or of any sign of highjacking of the plane has ever been found. Also, Scrooge McDuck may know something? Maybe? 🤐

The death of Howard Rockerduck still remains one of Duckburg's greatest mistery.

I can’t believe I never posted it here before so here we are. 2023 artwork posting as my first 2024 post on here, why not!! Anyways, I’m working on a small next gen of one of the most underrated Disney cartoons, Randy Cunningham 9th Grade ninja. I got into this show in the summer of 2023 and it’s still one of my favorite Disney shows, along with cartoons like Kim Possible or Darkwing Duck.

I drew concept art for my main character of the next gen, Alexis Weinerman, daughter to the previous Ninja’s best friend, Howard Weinerman. Alexis is the ninja of 2030, experiencing her first years of high school in her own way. Becoming the first female ninja, Norrisville now becomes suspicious of how many different ninjas there have been over the years. However, she still fights on to defeat the wandering evil Randy couldn’t defeat before, looking up to family, friends, and a small friend she looks for advice the Nomicon can’t provide.

This shows deserves the recognition and I’ll happily show art until this show gets it’s deserved 3rd season.
