In the next day, Patrice woke up and got dressed in dark dress and putted on moon necklace. She walked out of the room and started to walk to exit door, but Vincent was faster and stood in her way.

Vincent: good morning, starlight. Did you slept well?

Patrice: uhhh. Yeah yeah.

Vincent: good. Where are you going?

Patrice: to town. I need to get something to eat and also sone other things.

Vincent: but we have breakfast. A steak.

Patrice: I don't eat those things, Vincent. I rather eat vegetables.

Vincent: okay. Can I come with you?

Patrice: dressed like a vampire? No way. I have some man clothes in closet, so change and we can go.

Vincent: yippee!

After Vincent dressed up in shorts and anime t-shirt, she gave him umbrella and they went out.

1st they went to grocery store. Vincent looked around happily. He never saw so much food in one place. Patrice placed a pack of rice, some leeks and miso paste into cart. She also got some strawberry syrup and condensed milk.

Vincent: so no meat?

Patrice: nope. But I'll do something good too. I learned how to do it years ago. You'll like it, trust me.

Vincent: we'll see. I have higher standard, so you'll have to work hard on food.

Patrice: work smarter, not harder. You ever heard of it before?

Vincent: yes, I guess.

After buying food, they went to the mall. There was small store with cosmetics.

Vincent: what are we doing here? You wanna get some make-up? Wanna look pretty for me?

Patrice: ha! You wish. I don't like make-up products. It makes my skin dry. I'm getting self-care products. Also some relax stuff like face masks.

Vincent: self-care products?

Patrice: you never did self-care? I'll get something for you too.

She picked for both of them cleansing gel, toner, serum, cream, face masks, eye masks and soap roses.

When they got back, she changed to big loose t-shirt and started to cook, while Vincent was drinking red wine.

After about 40 minutes, Patrice putted a plate with riceballs in front of Vincent. He looked at it annoyed.

Vincent: really? I was waiting this long for a triangle rice?

Patrice: actually, it's Negi-Miso Onigiri.

Vincent: looks boring and too simple.

Patrice: try it.

Vincent: fine! But if I'll not like it, I'll be cooking!

He grabbed one of the onigiri and took a bite of it. Inside of onigiri was sauce made out of leek and miso paste. For him, it tasted very good, even better than his steak. Vincent blushed and looked at her.

Patrice: so?

Vincent: so good.

Patrice: mhm.

He happily ate all of it. Then she putted in front of him reddish mountain looking dessert in bowl.

Vincent: what is that?

Patrice: it's Kakigori. Shaved ice with some strawberry syrup and condensed milk on top. Enjoy.

Vincent took a spoon and started to eat it. He really enjoyed it. It was sour, sweet, milky and cold at the same time. He smiled and ate it all.

Vincent: for a human, you make a very good food. I rarely enjoy other food.

Patrice: I learned it from a guy in food truck. He was making many types of Japanese food. Very nice man. Anyways, less talking about food, it's relax time.

Vincent: what is it?

Patrice: a time for relax. Let me show you.

Patrice took him to her room. And opened one of the face masks.

Patrice: okay, now lay.

Vincent: on your bed?

Patrice: where else? On floor?

He then layed on his back on the bed. She putted a face mask on his face. He sniffed it and smiled.

Vincent: what is this sweet smell?

Patrice: that's orange mask. It'll bright up the skin and make it glossy. Now lay for few minutes.

She putted on face mask too and layed on her bean bag. He started to like new things that she showed him. After few minutes, she got her mask off. She stood up and saw that Vincent fell asleep. She smiled and took his mask off and left the room for him to sleep calmly.

When you and Itadori go shopping together, he is the type to go somewhere randomly without telling you because he got distracted by the sweet section of the store.

So overall, you do lose your boyfriend from time to time because of his habit of his - it’s adorable because he has a cute smile on his face when you find him, but you do get a little annoyed when he does it.

So when he went on his own trip, you decided that it was the best time to do a little prank since you just needed him to come to you - also, you weren’t bothered to go find him.

So when you text him that you are getting hit on, Itadori will reply to you with an emoji like this 🤔 or a text saying “Eh? Where are you, babe?”

When you reply to him, he won’t text you back at all because, after one second of you texting him back, he is already behind you with his arms wrapped around your waist and his chin hooked on your shoulder - scaring you slightly.

Itadori will look around from side to side before asking you if you are okay because he thought he had missed the person before he came - which is lowkey impossible because this guy can run a while 10 laps in 3 minutes.

Like he would be like ʕ·ᴥ·　ʔ ʕ´•ᴥ•`ʔ ʕ　·ᴥ·ʔ - where is this bitch?

When you giggle and tell him that it’s a small prank, he will pout at you before calling you a ‘little meanie’ because you are - like why would you do that to your poor axolotl of a boyfriend? Like that is so mean Y/N…

Give him a few kisses on his face and he will 

Of course, after his little whining session, he will show you all the snacks he has picked up for your movie date and how he wanted to pick up more...before you decided to pull that little stunt on him.

So your wallet better be ready for the sweet treats he is going to purchase - sorcerers get paid a lot so….

It’s rare that you and Fushiguro ever get separated during a little grocery shopping trip since he seems like a well-organised person.

What I mean by that is that he will have a shopping list on his phone or one he wrote out before you guys went out - since he just wants the process to be easy and quick.

However, there are times when he does have to separate from you because he missed something from the list - he is perfect with some imperfections.

So during this lovely rare time of him disappearing, you being the wonderful person decided to do the little prank that you have been seeing on TikTok - because you know Fushiguro doesn’t have that app.

So after waiting a few minutes, you decided to message your boyfriend that you are getting hit on by some random stranger.

You know he is coming to find you when you just see the ‘read’ below your text message - he does reply to your message but there are times where you just see that annoying ‘read’

After a few more minutes, you notice a feeling of a hand on your lower back and Fushiguro next to you, who is giving a glare to the side of the aisle that you are in - the poor innocent customer that is a victim to it.

He will ask if you are okay in a softer tone (because you bring out that side of him) and when you tell him you were just playing a little prank on him...he will give you a fed-up look.

However, he would also hide his face in the crook of your neck because he is really shy about how he rushed over to you to make sure you are okay - only for you to play with him.

“Did Gojo put you up to this?”

Yeah, he is annoyed at you but he is happy that you are okay - just let him hold you if he wants to because he deserves to.

SO...when you and Gojo are grocery shopping together, he is the type that will drag you around everywhere, especially somewhere in the bakery section.

Just know there are also times when Gojo will go on a little detour on his own like Itadori - because you are adamant to get the food that you need.

However, what gets annoying is when Gojo gets hit on by other people in the store when you are in front of him - like hello?

So imagine when he isn’t around you…

In the case of that, you decided to have a little payback with him and let him know how it feels, now from his perspective.

When you inform him that you are getting hit on by someone, just know you don’t need to close your phone because he will text you immediately - like within a second.

“Excuse me 😀 send the location honey~”

So when you do tell him where you are located, he will run to where you are with something that he found in one section as a weapon - maybe like a large leek or a cucumber (yes, it does weird people out)

When he finds you and doesn’t see the ‘person’ that was flirting with you, he will immediately ask you for their location - with the little glasses tilt and everything.

When you told him that it was a lie, the seriousness in his face just drops and now he has a huge pout and goes all whiny with you like “honey~ whyyy would you do that to me? Do you know how much I was worried about some random creep talking to you, and you do this to your handsome husband?” - dude...you ain’t even married yet.

He will now cling on to you like a koala, whining how mean you are and how much he is hurt by your actions - so if you suffocate him with affection, he will slowly quickly forgive you.

First I need to point out, texting Inumaki is the most amazing thing on this Earth because he can say what he wants to say - memes, gifs and everything.

Going back to the headcanon, when you and Inumaki go grocery shopping together, it’s basically a little date and the most random visit to the store because you both got nothing planned - probably Maki forced you to go, so you can prepare the hotpot that everyone was planning for.

So when you both decided it was best to split up the ingredients on the shopping list and split up to get the job done quicker, that’s when you get the idea since it was the perfect opportunity.

When you are about done with your side of the shopping, you decided to put your little prank into action - and it’s perfect for you as a couple because you both probably have a prank war going on with each other.

So when you text him that you were getting hit on, Inumaki will send you a whole gif as a response... there is no question about it.

You will probably laugh at it before he comes running in from the side - he is also the type that will slide off to the side before coming back into view as he runs towards you.

“Tuna, tuna?” - I’m laughing as I am typing this.

He is also the type to grab your arms and shake you lightly when you don’t answer quick enough (for him) - he is just worried.

When you laugh and tell him that it’s just a prank, Inumaki will give you a little look - like it is a mix of surprised and just ʕ – ᴥ – ʔ

“Okaka!” - Inumaki will say this to you before crossing his arms in ‘anger’ because he was actually worried… as he embarrassed himself for you.

For him to forgive you, just collect some other ingredients to have tuna mayo onigiri for him - because a way to a man’s heart is through his stomach ;)

Heya! I’m really glad you like the BB vacation headcanons aaaaa they were real refreshing to write!

NOTE: Since this is TDD era, ages here go roughly as such: Ichiro (15), Jiro (13), Saburo (10), Samatoki (21), Samatoki’s sister (10-12), Jakurai (31), Ramuda (20)

Ichiro

Samatoki would likely go to him first if he had to get his sister a babysitter

Mostly because of their senior-junior relationship, and also cause he knows Ichiro has two younger brothers (with the youngest being round his sister’s age too)

When he drops his sister off, he’d glare at Ichiro with the deadliest eyes and warn him of the dire consequences if anything happens to her (rip ichiro)

Ichiro would initially be very cautious and overly-antsy around imoutoki

But he’d definitely warm up to her quickly once he sees how nervous she is around him and his brothers too

Saburo and Jiro would watch enviously from the background as Ichiro’d play dolls with her

They wouldn’t approach her until Ichiro calls them over

But they’d refuse to interact with her, so Ichiro would just continue to play with her as the two of them huddled together

Eventually, they’d cave in from the pressure— partly cause their beloved Ichinii isn’t paying them any attention, partly cause they feel bad that they’re excluding this shy little girl, partly also cause the games just look so fun

And so the three Yamada Bros would just play game after game after game: house (imoutoki being the mom, saburo being the dad, ichiro the grandmother and jiro ~unwillingly~ being the baby), hide and seek (with ichiro hiding in the most obvious places on purpose), dolls (feat a highly dramatised re-enactment of a typical scene from a soap opera)

Once they’ve tired out Jiro, Saburo and imoutoki would fall asleep huddled together while Ichiro cleans up their now-disheveled apartment: his back sore and aching, his voice hoarse from all the over-enthusiastic yelling but with a huge smile on his face nonetheless

And eventually when Samatoki arrives up to pick his sister up, his heart melts a little when he sees the rosy flush in her cheeks and the sparkle in her eyes

“I haven’t seen her have this much fun in years. Maybe it’ll do her some good to hang with your bros sometime again in the future… I’ll give you credit for this one, kid— but don’t get too cocky, ya hear me!?”

Samatoki

Ichiro would have always told Jiro and Saburo good things about his delinquent-senpai-idol Samatoki

…but when they actually see him in person for the first time it’d be safe to say that they’d be terrified

Samatoki’s apartment would likely be small and messy, so the two of them would sit awkwardly on the edge of the sofa

Huddled together, with Saburo clinging onto Jiro for dear life (and surprisingly, Jiro doesn’t mind too much— or perhaps he’s just too scared to notice)

Samatoki would sit cross-legged opposite them, silent and glaring

With imoutoki between the two parties, shuffling awkwardly in her seat

And this continues for what seems like hours until imoutoki pulls at Samatoki’s shirt and says “lunchtime”

So Samatoki brings all the kids to the kitchen where he seats them at their small dining table and starts cooking

He’d start off by frying chicken skewers, then mixing sauces to make a light teriyaki glaze. While that’s cooking he’d begin chopping carrots, leeks and onions with surprising speed and precision into little flowers

all while imoutoki hums happily as she waits for another one of her big bro’s feasts, all while saburo and jiro watch with their mouths hanging open because who knew Samatoki could cook??

He’d leave the onigiri for last and when he does, he calls all the kids to help him with it

So they spend ages shaping the rice into different shapes, laughing as sticky rice gets all over their hands and face and clothes

When Ichiro comes to pick them up, they’re only starting to eat (because it took hours to get the rice off the floor and each other) so he joins them as well

And Samatoki sends them home with enough leftovers to last them a few days

Ramuda

     Imoutoki

When Samatoki asks TDD if anyone’s free to babysit his sister, Ramuda’s hand would be the first to shoot up to volunteer

On the day itself, Ramuda would greet her with a huge hug and she’d be startled

Because this man is around her oniichan’s age, yet he’s only a few inches taller than her??

Ramuda would have a whole assortment of activities planned in advance because he’d have been looking forward to this day ever since he heard Samatoki had a little sister

He’d spend hours doing her hair, sewing her new clothes, even pampering her with light makeovers fitting of a girl her age

Letting her dress up and feel pretty for once– an opportunity she’s always wanted but never asked for because she knows Samatoki tries his best already and doesn’t want to trouble him any further

All the while he’d chat to her like an old friend: asking her about school, what pop idol she’s into, which type of sweet tastes best with which kind of tea

And at the end of the day, Samatoki would nearly drop dead when he comes to pick his sister up and sees her all dolled up

He’d probably cry a little thinking that she’s growing up too fast

     Saburo and Jiro

Ramuda would seize the opportunity to babysit Jiro and Saburo, claiming that he’s always wanted little brothers 

But they’d have heard things about the infamous Ramuda and his clingy ways from Ichiro, so they’d formulate plans to evade him as much as possible 

Jiro would likely be rushing around Ramuda’s apartment trying to escape from his clutches of frill and satin, Saburo would hide away in the most obscure of places (and finding Ramuda’s secret stash of lollipops) and Ramuda would eventually collapse onto his sofa, uncharacteristically exhausted 

He’d lie there, seemingly asleep, for a long time 

Until Jiro and Saburo, out of both curiosity and guilt, are baited out to check and see if he’s alright 

…He’d then jump out, tackling them both to the ground and tickling them to no end as they shriek and struggle 

This match would continue for hours on end until they collapse into a sweaty, laughing pile on the fluffy pink carpet in Ramuda’s living room 

….Ichiro would come to pick them up, find them fast asleep in the same spot and end up putting Ramuda to bed too before carrying his sleeping brothers all the way back home 

Jakurai

     Imoutoki

Jakurai’s house is likely filled with all sorts of medical reports and supplies unsuitable for kids to play in, so he’d take her out instead

Most likely to the aquarium, where there’s much to be learned 

(Sensei is single and thus knows little about raising kids but he’s all about teaching them new things, like healthy foods to eat or how not to get cavities idk)

Imoutoki would be amazed by all the different types of fish drifting about like seven-colour-flags, the 

And if she had trouble seeing due to the crowds, Jakurai would lift her up on his shoulders to give her the best view of all 

Though he has to be careful to make sure she doesn’t bump her head on the ceiling

Halfway they’d be stopped by a few middle-aged aunties who’d tell him, “Oh my, what a cute daughter you have!”  and “It’s so nice to see a father spending time with his child on a quiet weekend like this.” 

He’d try to correct them first, but after seeing the bashful look in imoutoki’s eyes and remembering the Aohitsugi family situation, he’d simply smile and say “Yes, I’m very aware of that.” 

When Jakurai drops her back home at the end of the day and she’s waving goodbye, she’d tell Samatoki to “Say bye-bye to Father too”, which would confuse him greatly 

     Saburo and Jiro

Jakurai would go over to the Yamada bros’ apartment to watch over them for Ichiro

Jiro and Saburo would likely be very wary of this giant of a man at first due to his long hair, towering figure and stern-looking face 

He’d see them hovering in the distance, like cats on edge

But the moment he smiles at them in that gentle fashion of his, they’d instantly warm up to him 

Having Jakurai smile at you would be like having an angel’s face shine down upon you… anyone’d be at ease lmao

The boys would spend the rest of the day showing Jakurai around 

Jiro would be eager to bring him outside and show him all his ‘treasures’ and ‘landmarks’: the rock in the backyard where they buried their pet goldfish, the secret spot to the north of the entrance where the ladybugs thrive, even the hidden nest of bush warblers on the fourth branch of the highest tree 

Saburo would be more hesitant, but he’d shyly approach Jakurai with a thick book and quietly mumble something along the lines of “I’d like you to read this to me… please.” 

Of course it’d surprise Jakurai to see a 10 year-old with a book with the title “1001 Lessons in Social Psychology” , but Ichiro DID tell him that his youngest brother was a prodigy

Near the end, Jakurai would bring out a cooler box of Super Cup ice cream he prepared in advance as a secret treat

But Jiro and Saburo’d insist on saving their portions for Ichinii as well 

By the time Ichiro comes home, the ice cream is melted and Jakurai looks apologetic, but he eats it nonetheless

tastiest homemade things of 2019

in no particular order because i liked them all and i was so happy to have made them :D 

top 10: 

gai pad kraprow - literally a 10 minute dish LOL because you don’t need to do anything to the ground chicken. so easy and surprisingly delicious for such little effort :) 

tom kha gai - i had never had this dish before i went to thailand, and i totally picked this dish randomly and LOVED it. it’s really addicting though of course it’s super rich because it’s pretty much all coconut milk. love the way the aromatics permeate the coconut milk :) also another very easy dish that i’ll be making often! 

pineapple fried rice - i was very skeptical when i saw how wet this would be initially, but it turned out AMAZING. i was truly astonished by how all the ingredients came together. it’s a bit more involved, but totally worth it. would bring this as a nice potluck dish :) 

porchetta style pork roast - after trying osamil’s pork shank and a flushing pork shank, we wanted to make our own. this was the second iteration and i loved it :D 

muhammara - i had this at suraya and the spice finch and i loved it and HAD to make it. so i did. and i was amazed by how easy and delicious it was! definitely not the same, but hey it was great that i could have my own :) 

pork & leek dumplings - raymond watched this video on youtube and i was really intrigued by the idea of making a fragrant oil to mix into the dumplings. um, i never want to make dumplings another way again. (unless i’m feeling lazy, in which case i will totally default to my pork & chive ones). 

oyakodon - a friend introduced this dish to me as an easy recipe, and i was stunned by how delicious and convenient this dish was. i always have chicken and egg in the fridge. bonus - this dish is meant for 1. LOL. 

stir fried shrimp & eggs - just barely cooked shrimp and eggs ... ugh. super light and fresh and easy. hmm i feel like there’s a theme here 

gumbo - i always thought gumbo sounded kinda gross, and i never had good gumbo. i was pretty excited to make it though for the princess and the frog when my roommate suggested it; so glad i learned from a native louisaner! 

seolleongtang - got this recipe from SAC and wow it was insanely easy - basically just blanching oxtails and then boiling them in water for hours and then adding salt LOL. so easy but so flavorful and delicious :) a super comforting and light meal. 

honorable mentions:

because these are barely real recipes hahaha but i really enjoyed them :D 

spicy salmon onigiri - this isn’t even the actual thing because i decided i was too lazy to make my own onigiri; i’d rather eat the filling with the rice (and not shape balls and cut seaweed). and the filling? seared salmon on a cast iron, broken up with a spatula, mixed with mayo and sriracha (2:1 or 3:1) to taste. LOL. 

crab congee with seared shrimp - also laughably easy: vietnamese crab paste + water + rice to make congee. seared shrimp on a cast iron with some more crab paste. hahaha.

Cooking With Anime: Leek Onigiri from Fruits Basket

  Is there a food you particularly hate? Something you really can't abide eating? For me it's eggs and bananas, but when I cook for myself, it's no big deal because I can easily avoid those foods. When it comes to making food, though, you always want people to eat and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Nothing is more disheartening than when you offer up something you've been slaving away on only to have the person go, "Oh, no thanks. I don't like [insert food ingredient here]." This very thing happened to me today! 

  Of course, it's understandable—not everyone likes everything. Yuki, from Fruits Basket, grows many fruits and vegetables and shares them with Tohru to cook with. To show her appreciation, she makes some leek onigiri to share with the family! Imagine how surprising it must have been for her when Kyo spit out her food and complained about the leeks. Tohru worked so hard to take Yuki's leeks and turn them into something really tasty!

    As much as I understand Kyo's dislike for leeks, but Tohru's onigiri probably weren't that bad! Leeks have a nice mild onion flavor, and I've never had them in onigiri before, so I decided to try and remake them for us to enjoy. To complement the sweetness of the leeks, I added in some shiro miso to add a salty contrast, and butter, so smooth the two flavors together and make the filling a little creamy.

  Even if you don't like leeks much, these rice balls are really tasty! You definitely won't have to force yourself to eat them. These salty-sweet onigiri were a hit in my house—they didn't last long, that's for sure. Make them today to see for yourself!

      Ingredients for Leek Onigiri

  2 tbsp butter

1 leek, chopped

Salt and pepper

1 tbsp shiro miso dissolved in 1/4 cup chicken stock

2 cups uncooked white rice, cooked

nori wrappers

    To Make Leek Onigiri

1. Melt butter down in a pan that's on medium heat. Add in leeks and saute until softened, about three to four minutes. Season with salt and pepper, turn heat to medium-low, and add in miso and chicken stock. Simmer one to two minutes, or until some of the liquid has dissolved.

  2. To form the onigiri, get some plastic wrap. Make a rice "patty" on the plastic wrap, making sure the center is a little thinner than the edges. Place filling on the middle, and then, using the plastic wrap, close the edges up over the filling. Then, using your hands, form the rice ball into a triangle shape. Adjust plastic wrap as you go to make sure the shape comes out all right.

  3. Remove plastic wrap, and wrap the bottom of the onigiri with nori. Eat the same day!
