#hello i saw this production in vienna a few months ago and became mildly deranged about it #and there is so little on it online so i decided to take matters into my own hands #barrie kosky i have to say you ate with this. i gather his productions aren't always recommended for first-time operagoers #but as a first-time operagoer it rotted my brain with a swiftness so hats off #i don't think i need to spell out that i'm in love with countess almaviva. i think the gifs speak for themselves #also it's not really a gifable moment but when i saw this a detail i LOVED was that when she's introduced #the countess is posing motionless staring into the mirror while her entire ornate room physically moves forward #similarly at the end of another scene she sits motionless and stares out into the audience as the room moves backwards #and the lights go down #tragic woman horribly aware of her fate trapped in a golden cage <333 #cherubino outta my way gayboy etc etc #i have to say hanna-elisabeth müller is extremely good at anguished staring into space hahahahaha #anyway yes these kinda look like ass because i don't know how to make or compress gifs properly #and i refuse to download photoshop for fear my laptop would not be able to hack it #it's me and ezgif.com against the world #luckily this post is largely for an audience of me anyway LMAO #sorry about the subtitles btw there is unfortunately no clean version #opera #le nozze di figaro #the marriage of figaro

fuckkkk my laptop keyboard is fucked up and idk how to fix it. do u think i can play project zomboid on my tablet i literallyjust got the game </3 and also the entire rest of my life is on my laptop or whatever

I have recently learned many valuable lessons while disassembling my laptop for cleaning, including but not limited to: OH MY GOD THAT WAS SOLDERED DOWN THAT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO COME OFF

#'how hard can it be to disassemble a computer?' I said......... 'hubris won't be MY downfall' I said...........#luckily it was just the fan connector that I broke #so the laptop is still operable even without it #and it was also a really clean break so I think I just need to learn how to solder and everything will be fiiiiiiine #but HOLY SHIT did it give me a heart attack

Born to play sims all day, forced to write essays for uni ✋️😩

#miss when I was like 9 and I would come home from school and play ts3 for 6 hours every day #i have 2000 words due for tuesday which shouldn't really be a problem #but it's so hard to concentrate and do it #like I set a goal of minimum 400 words today so I can get on track to finishing in time and it's 9pm and I still haven't gotten it done #but at rhe same time I don't really like playing sims in my laptop #and the ea app keeps messing itself up on ny laptop for some reason #like the game claims it isn’t installed #but when i try to reinstall it it says I have it and tells me to repair it #and tbf repairing fixes it but it's a reoccurring issue for some reason????#also struggling to get actors for our short film project which is part of my bachelor so that's fun 😁🔫#and while I'm at it I genuinely cannot wait to not share kitchen w strangers #i get so annoyed w the people i share w rn and then i feel bad for being annoyed at them #but they send like 5 pictures in the gc whenever there's crumbs in the counter #and they seem to be incapible of doing trash correctly despite there being written instructions on how to sort????#like I've had to take non plastic grabage out of the plastics bag???#+the girl who has cleaning reaponsibility this week asked for the floor to be cleaned so she could have a 'fresh start'#even tho the mess appeared on monday like it's ur week to clean?????#and then they can't even do the ONE thing I asked for and put the knives in the dishwasher w the blade down #it's just small things but I can't wait to have my own kitchen holy shit I've lived in this dorm for almost 3 years now #i feel like I sound like a terrible person when I complain about this but I genuinely did prefer when we didn’t talk to each other #anyway hopefully I can actually get my ass to do this assignment soon 🙏🙏🙏#nonsims #personal

It’s hard to make music when you have no instruments or software or skills or talent and also you don’t actually know how to play anything or make music and you’re dumb as hell

#hey it’s about that time of year where I get the urge again to try and make music before getting frustrated and quitting #don’t let your inability to do anything right get in the way of messing everything up forever and ever amen #every time I sit down to try and set up software and whatnot I end up wasting half a dozen hours before giving up #repeat once or twice every year or so for the last decade #how did I used to do this junk??? whaaaaa? I don’t understand computers.#I have an ooooold laptop buried in a box someone with sooo many unfinished songs. albums and albums worth. mostly just missing vocals #I used to sit and work on music for hours and hours #pretty much the only productive thing I did my first year of college was make an album #and now I’m just like… I don’t understand how anything works. I’m so old.#but I guess it’s… ya know… it’s been awhile and you can’t just expect to jump back in with the same skill and comfort #you’ve got get all the tedious beginning stuff out of the way. that’s just how it goes. it builds and builds.#it’s the opposite of eating an elephant. it’s frankensteining and elephant. gotta do it piece by piece.#basically I got another hand me down laptop. clean slate freshly wiped.#then I spent about 5 hours just setting it up and thennnnnn getting a bad virus bc I’m stupid as hell and don’t want to pay for software #I lost my software installer I already had so I rushed to 🏴‍☠️ the first decent one I could find #and then when I got warnings I said ‘meh the antivirus is probably exaggerating’#ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? ARE YOU STUPID!? you trust the illegal file over your own antivirus!? whatttt!?#i am very stupid #at least the laptop is pretty much empty. just gonna do another clean wipe and start again. hopefully smarter.#I really want this.
