Had a terrible hiccup today damn 😵💫
#9 hours of hiccup and non stop#no matter how much water I drank and the usual technique it wouldn't stop 😞#my diaphragm hurts like a bitch DAMN#it's like there's gas on my throat and the whole problem can be solved by burping but I cannot burp#I never burped in my life 😭 I wish I could feel the pleasure pf burping#anyway it stopped but im so tired#sleepy's thoughts#I was taking my laptop to be cleaned today as well#the guy saw me hiccuping so bad he offered me water but I said 'thank you sir but I don't think this one can HIK be solved by HIK water 😭'

how do gamers do it...... i started playing the one game that really grabs me (the one game i played as a kid also) and i play it for hours but the minute i stop playing i am FLOODED with anxiety as the list of things i haven't done flashes before my eyes and my brain is tired from gaming but also if i dont get SOMETHING done today ill be up all night (again - this has happened twice in a row) stressing out about the fact that i spent an entire day not getting anything done
#luckily my laptop cannot play this game#i can play it by using a free trial on an app#that i cant get a pirated copy of to work#so itll be gone in 2 weeks#but i am enjoying it#it's fun#but god.. i used to play this game for hours every day#i guess i was a lot less productive then in general? or too depressed#i could stand to work out how to let myself chill though#the only form of relaxation i let myself have is reading#and reading feels productive for me bc i feel like i have to read as many books as i can all the time#so i dont have much to do that involves just chilling without keeping count of progress#so playing this game was an experiment in seeing if i can let myself spend a day doing nothing#but i cannot.. i panique.. im too tired to clean or work on my assignment or progress in my book.. what do#ed mumbles

#those 3 months were spent scanning documents#so much scanning#i also now have an arm hair that’s 6cm long#gonna go for the world record of longest arm hair#i’m halfway#relatively productive 3 months if i do say so myself#actually i did take apart my laptop and pc and my old corroded gameboys and gave them all a good clean out and OOH#feel like a new woman#📨#💜#how are you doing little purple heart i hope you’re doing SWIMMINGLY you’re very sweet

words can't describe how grateful I am to be able to afford a new laptop. I didn't even realize in how bad of a shape my old one was after 7 years of daily use. Althoughy my new laptop is in a used condition as well, (I wanted an older asus model to make the switch less painful) I'm still astonished by how good it looks and operates.
#I'd probably use my old laptop until it croaks but after the last cleaning the fans got permanently screwed and are now VERY loud#the only thing that could drown the buzzing out was my heater that I obviously don't use during summer#it still blows my mind how my new laptop doesn't instantly die when power goes out#scary.txt

#lmao a computer at work got stuck on an update bc it ran out of storage space so i had to clone to a bigger hard drive#and all i had to do to get it to pick up where it left off was run chkdsk once 🙏🏾#girl i was looking for stuff to delete on here before getting to that point‚ WHY do these installers take up 50GB??#why did the old IT manager only use 120GB hard drives?? why did they only use 4GB RAM on the laptops??#stop being so frugal do u know how wasteful modern operating systems are..#૮ – ��–ა my job has been a lot of cleaning up and actually trying to fix things that ppl have avoided for at least 8 years.#buck stops w me kinda thing (as a personal choice). some of these ppl r like im trying 2 work but things keep crashing n lagging#and i take a look at task manager and their RAM's all used up (〒﹏〒) i am so sorry. PLEASE take this newer laptop#if we don't have any then at least let me upgrade the memory for u.. this is unacceptable..

honesty accidentally saying off tumblr (and social media in general) for a week has been so chill. it feels like my mental health has improved (even tho i know it has not, actually), so i've decided to under no circumstances at all update my app and force me to experience tumblr in a much healthier way - through designated Computer Time (tm) on my laptop, which in contrast to my pone i do not bring with me at every occasion, lol

It’s hard to make music when you have no instruments or software or skills or talent and also you don’t actually know how to play anything or make music and you’re dumb as hell
#hey it’s about that time of year where I get the urge again to try and make music before getting frustrated and quitting#don’t let your inability to do anything right get in the way of messing everything up forever and ever amen#every time I sit down to try and set up software and whatnot I end up wasting half a dozen hours before giving up#repeat once or twice every year or so for the last decade#how did I used to do this junk??? whaaaaa? I don’t understand computers.#I have an ooooold laptop buried in a box someone with sooo many unfinished songs. albums and albums worth. mostly just missing vocals#I used to sit and work on music for hours and hours#pretty much the only productive thing I did my first year of college was make an album#and now I’m just like… I don’t understand how anything works. I’m so old.#but I guess it’s… ya know… it’s been awhile and you can’t just expect to jump back in with the same skill and comfort#you’ve got get all the tedious beginning stuff out of the way. that’s just how it goes. it builds and builds.#it’s the opposite of eating an elephant. it’s frankensteining and elephant. gotta do it piece by piece.#basically I got another hand me down laptop. clean slate freshly wiped.#then I spent about 5 hours just setting it up and thennnnnn getting a bad virus bc I’m stupid as hell and don’t want to pay for software#I lost my software installer I already had so I rushed to 🏴☠️ the first decent one I could find#and then when I got warnings I said ‘meh the antivirus is probably exaggerating’#ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? ARE YOU STUPID!? you trust the illegal file over your own antivirus!? whatttt!?#i am very stupid#at least the laptop is pretty much empty. just gonna do another clean wipe and start again. hopefully smarter.#I really want this. turns out all I needed to have the motivation to *checks notes* clear the garbage off my desk was *checks notes again* three days of doing nothing but unbridled spending and a day of comicon
#I bought a really cute desk mat in the hopes of convincing myself to not just pile shit up there as I do with every surface in my room#bc guess what? I can never use it as a desk bc there’s always shit on it#I’m also gonna start keeping my laptop there instead of in my backpack to further keep it as a workspace and not a table for my dishes#Also for the record my room is not clean. I still have laundry to put away (and this is like a months worth I’m in deep)#and dishes everywhere and bags of items on the floor bc that’s just how I store things for some reason#bc I don’t have room in my closet bc that’s full of garbage#so I’m like. Not in a good way by any means but at least my desk is clean and somewhat reorganized#and idk. Maybe I’ll start on my laundry before bed
