Indoor dates; Aphelios, Akali, Senna, Yasuo

They choose to spend their valentines day with you indoors; either because they simply prefer it that way, or just want to spend it alone with you ⎯ away from the eyes of onlookers who are desperate for gossip.

Aphelios and Yasuo are introverts at heart, so being away from people is like a blessing to them both. How they'd choose to spend the day with you depends on the current mood they're feeling, for example: wanting to do something that doesn't require much work like watching a movie is one of the go-to's he'd do for valentines. Or on the more rarer occasions where he's wanting to feel genuine and sincere, he'd take some time off idol work to compose a personal song for you ⎯ one that isn't technically sung by him (most likely asked one of their members to sing in his steed) but can be used for karaoke, or background music during dinner.

Akali and Senna are the same as the other two ⎯ both being introverted but also not really? In the pre-tense of it she simply has a hard time getting along with people but would put up some sort of effort when it comes to you. However on this day, she'd much prefer to spend it alone with you. The list on what you would do with her varies on the basics of what most couples do on this day: movies, snacks, dinner, etc. I feel like in a way, Akali would want to spend valentines like how regular couples would ⎯ setting aside her role as an idol.

Outdoor dates; Kayn, Sett, K'Sante, Evelynn, Kai'Sa, Ekko

Kayn and K'sante are the types who'd want to make this day as memorable as he can for you; spending however much money he can offer to spoil you for the whole day. Though I can only imagine for Kayn he'd chooses to spend his money on bringing you to a concert that both you and him have been waiting to attend, whereas for K'Sante he's the type that'll carry all the bags you've bought and take you to a fancy restaurant to dine in.

^ You can also say this would be something Evelynn would also do for you, in terms of taking you out and spoiling you, then bringing you somewhere fancy. She has the power to do so, so why not use it to her advantage, no? At the end of it all you'd both be sitting in a high view building, watching as the city lights coat the streets before calling it a night with sweet kisses and longing words to each other.

^^ Kai'sa somewhat doing the same as what Kayn did, however, instead of just attending 'a' concert ⎯ she'd be giving you tickets to hers and her group's concert instead (i'm sorry idrk how to write for her)

Sett on the other hand is taking you on a walk. Yes, a walk. Varying between places like parks or a walk down the streets ⎯ to taking you on a hiking trip to the mountains. Of course he isn't gonna force you to keep climbing when you're getting tired, but instead of taking a break by sitting down somewhere, he'd continue the walk with you on his back or shoulders. To him it's a win-win situation: You get to rest for a bit, while he continues to walk and show you the amazing view of the place AND technically speaking, this would count as a workout for him, right? I will say at the end of it all, he'd have at least one or two things prepared when the walk is over (your gift).

Ekko is a man who's lived in the street since he was a kid; dealing with hardships and whatnot through out his life already, he'd hope to at least spend one of these days, this day in particular, where he can spend money on you. That's his wish, and with the amount he earns as a Idol ⎯ well, i guess you can say a part of his wish did come true.

A mix between both; Ezreal, Yone, Ahri, Qiyana

In the case of becoming hit stars, and especially being the fans' faves; Ezreal and Yone's schedule are so packed, they have to plan their valentines day to be both indoors and outdoors. For Yone it'd be indoors > outdoors, starting his valetines indoors first because there were still some things he needed to check over before going outdoors with you to spend the rest of your valentines day with him. Ezreal's valentines, however, started off with an outdoor date in mind but then switched to indoors the moment fans caught sight of him and he had to cancel it all ⎯ making him somewhat depressed for the most part because he tried so hard to make this day perfect for you both, but seeing as it was still a day you can spend together, outdoors or not, he's happy as long as he's with you.

^ The same can be said for Ahri, she has plenty of fans who'd want to talk and take pictures of her when she's outside so the outdoor date she had in mind suddenly turned indoor the moment fans caught wind of her activities.

^ As for Qiyana, it'd be similar to Yone but not exactly ⎯ she'd want to spend the day resting a bit longer in bed with you during the start of the day and then spend the rest outdoors; via going to a club or a bar.

Diavolo's Team

Simeon - Top - Gwen: Has one build he uses every game, doesn't know how to itemize so he uses an outdated build Leviathan made for him. Terrible at trading and doesn't understand most matchups. Tilt proof. Honestly just wants to hang out with the brothers, mostly Lucifer.

Leviathan - Jungle - Bel'Veth: Super confident jungler and frequently invades and / or starts the enemies buff. 100% owns every Champion and has played them all at least once or twice. Has multiple skins for every character he plays. Is too competitive and easily tilts.

Lucifer - Mid - LeBlanc: Hyper aggressive and all ins level 3 100% of the time, regardless of the matchup. Will track the enemy jungler and harass them. ONLY gets tilted when he isn't doing well, regardless of the team.

Diavolo - ADC - Miss Fortune: Terrible at farming / under 5cs a minute. Only uses the recommended runes and builds. Frequently cancels his ult on accident by walking. Tilt proof. Mostly just loves playing with the brothers, more specifically Lucifer. Also gets him out of paperwork (sometimes.) Will try and get everyone to match skins with him.

Barbatos - Support - Soraka: AMAZING at supporting Diavolo / has adapted to his playstyle. Good vision and map awareness, but will hold his ult for Diavolo / doesn't care if someone is dying on the opposite end of the map. Lowkey tilts but won't say anything.

(May or may not use his future sight for Diavolo’s favor. This was an after thought.)

Uh- Beelzebub's Team (?)

Beelzebub - Top - Cho'Gath: Is the definition of "top lane island" you don't see him until 20 minutes. AFKs under tower or in a bush to eat, and frequently leaves to grab more food.Tilt proof.

Belphegor - Jungle - Lillia: Safe jungler, only counter ganks / makes easy plays. Won't go for objective steals without the team. Untiltable until someone says something to him.

Mammon - Mid - Pantheon: Spam emotes and HARD egos his lane / will tank autos early game over giving up cs. Roams bot lane the moment he hits level 6, regardless of lane state / forces the fight. Tilts easily.

Asmodeus - ADC - Kai'Sa: Good at csing but gets too caught up in it to make trades / very passive laner. Gets confused on itemization and calls Leviathan. Doesn't tilt in the usual sense, instead he becomes disheartened / sad when doing poorly.

Satan - Support - Yuumi: Starts Support item and a Control Ward over Health potions, doesn't think he needs them. Constantly hopping off to get passive shield. BACKSEAT GAMER, think Remy and Linguini. Most likely has all of Yuumi’s skins and chromas. Picked the pink chroma to match with Asmodeus. Will genuinely be upset if Lucifer survives a big team fight and he doesn’t. WILL flame in chat, VERY tiltable.

background:

taliyah was born in the south of shurima as the daughter of the tribe chief of the naasaj, a group of nomadic weavers and herders. she discovered her abilities as a stoneweaver at the age of six, while rescuing a goat on a cliff where it had become stuck. the stone called to her as she lay a hand upon it, then erupted, bringing both goat and canyon wall down upon her. her father brought her back to the camp and put her under the care of babajan, the tribe's grandmother. days later, she was finally able to explain what had happened, how the stone had called to her.

once a child came of age in the naasaj tribe, they performed a dance under the full moon - the face of the great weaver - to determine what their path in life would be. when her time to dance finally came, she danced with the stone. it rose up from the earth in a pillar, evoking startled cries from her kin. her will broken, the rock crashed to the ground, cutting her mother. to taliyah, this was proof that she was dangerous to everyone around her, and so she ran. her father found her eventually, and taliyah finally admitted her ability to shape the stone. instead of being scared or revolted, though, he told her that she needed to face her power, not run from it. she returned with open eyes. this time, she wove with purpose, creating a memory of those she loved. when it was time for her mentor to stand, the entire tribe did, ready to stand with her. but taliyah knew that her true teacher was not among them, and so she headed out into the world, promising to learn to control her power.

on taliyah's quest to find her mentor, a band of noxians who discovered her. they promised her that noxus celebrated such power, that she would find a teacher there. raised to be trusting, taliyah followed them, into the heart of noxus. the endless political games were claustrophobic to her, until a captain promised to take her to a place where she could practice her magic freely. but when they docked near a village and she was told to bury the inhabitants in their homes, taliyah refused, and was tossed overboard to drown.

after surviving and escaping the noxians, taliyah came across yasuo. she accidentally brought down an avalanche upon him, but managed to save him and bring him to a cave. he asked her why she had chosen such a path, causing her to leave the cave in frustration. while outside, taliyah came face-to-face with an ionian mountain lion. she leaned into her power and crumbled the rock beneath both her and the lion. yasuo saved her, becoming her unlikely mentor in the process. they had another harrowing encounter when some soldiers found them in an inn, accusing yasuo of murder. with taliyah's help, he fended them off and they escaped. not long afterwards, they parted ways.

taliyah returned to shurima at around 17 years of age. on her turn, she found a dying sivir, and decided to help her before going to find her family. while there, an army attacked, looking for sivir in order to kill her. another who who was also looking for sivir found them both and gave sivir an amulet which would keep her hidden from the army. taliyah managed to escape with sivir, and protected the survivors of the attack from the army.

taliyah spent a while in the desert, travelling with a group of other shurimans whose families or homes had been destroyed. she considered them her new family. her quest to find her tribe was complicated by the fact that the seasonal waters no longer flowed, so she could no longer predict their location. the group had decided to travel north, a place they believed would be a safe haven from the void. on this journey, she met kai'sa, who she helped with defeating a group of lamplighters. in this fight, taliyah learned the city they were traveling to had likely already been destroyed, and opted to leave the group of survivors that she was traveling with in order to work with kai'sa to try and reclaim the city from the void. taliyah and kai'sa arrived to find the town abandoned and destroyed. they were then attacked by a group of xer'sai, but fended them off before a sinkhole appeared in the ground. rek'sai emerged from the pit, and kai'sa lured her back underground. this allowed taliyah to bring the statue of xolaani over the sinkhole to prevent rek'sai from re-emerging.

Kai'sa Character Redesign

Following on from my research I have continued to do more character redesigns to give myself more practice in the area and creating characters that are more fit for purpose in the media they are being used for. The character that I focused on here is Kai'sa from the game League of Legends.

Kai'sa is a character that was transported at a young age to a place called the void that is only filled with monsters and other worldly beings, while in the void one of the monster latched onto her to become her suit and used as a way to protect herself. Areas that I can see that need massive improvements with the design range from the body type to the clean appearance she has for someone that has been on her own for decades trying her best to survive in a world of things that only want to attack her.

Starting with her body type it doesn't seem appropriate that she appears so slender when everyday she would be under a great deal of stress and exercise trying to survive. From this it lead me to this very interesting image of athletes and the different body types they have in their very specialized areas which got me thinking about what build I would choose to be the most appropriate for her character.

I ended up with the idea of using a triple jumper for my point of reference. With how the suit works Kai'sa is a character that jumps around a lot so would have powerful legs and I want that to be shown in her design.

This is rough design of how I would see Kai'sa looking if she was to fit more with her lore and character. I gave her a much more unkept look making the hair messy, stocky face, more defined muscles and also the suit itself giving Kai'sa more amour plating and protection as the creature attached to her wants to kept her alive and not wanting to reveal fragile parts of her that are in the original design as a way to show off her feminine parts.

WHAT IS YOUR OTP FOR YOUR CHARACTER(S)?

Baavira! I know a lot of people do not like this ship because they believe there is no chemistry between them and they don't share scenes where they act like a couple, but I honestly disagree with them. It seems like they've already been together for a long time so they're no longer in the honeymoon stage, and they don't look like the type of couple that would constantly be all over each other.

I know people don't like this ship for another reason, that reason being the fact Kuvira shot the warehouse without hesitation and they all believe that is proof she never cared for him. Again, I disagree with that. Kuvira was in the middle of trying to achieve her goal, that goal being a promise she made to her people, so of course she wasn't going to emotionally breakdown or go back on her promise for her own selfish desire; if she did, the people would lose faith in her. Remember, she gain a big following because she sees things through. And if people actually paid attention, Kuvira did had to hold everything in before she steeled herself to continue on after she made the difficult decision to sacrifice the man she loves.

She was also originally suppose to cry in the scene, but that idea was thrown away since Bryke believed the impact in the Spirit World scene wouldn't be as emotional. AND the comics did confirm Kuvira still has feelings for him.

Oof, this turned into a rant. Haha. I apologize, I am very defensive over this ship.

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?

I do headcanon Kuvira to be twenty-five years old until stated otherwise, so I don't think she would want to date anyone that isn't even old enough to drink or still has the maturity level of a peanut; I say anyone under the age of twenty is a big no. The oldest she'll go for is someone in their fifties. As for immortal characters, they just have to look like an adult.

HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY ARE CONSIDERED NSFW?

When it goes beyond kissing, like touching and clothes starts to come off. Any moments like this would be placed under "read more", discord, or fade-to-black. Though, I don't do much smut content these days because I'm not that interested in writing them, but that doesn't mean I hate it. It could still happen as long as the ship is well established.

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING?

Yes, like, Kuvira isn't exactly an easy person to be ship with due to her past trauma of being abandoned by her biological parents and Suyin as well, she's not going to trust anyone that comes to her way easily and will make her distrust known. There is also the fact that she can be difficult in general, she cannot be please so easily. So if you are trying to win her heart, you're gonna have to do more than giving flowers or showing off fancy tricks.

WHO ARE OTHER CHARACTERS YOU SHIP YOUR CHARACTER WITH?

Korra! That Spirit World scene is just so divine.

DOES ONE HAVE TO ASK TO SHIP WITH YOU?

It all depends if you're brave enough to poke the bear, like I said Kuvira isn't easy to be with so I am picky with who I'm going to ship her with. Though, sometime, it just happens and I have that occurrences where it all work out, but it is better to ask than to assume. You may feel the chemistry, but the same cannot be said for the other person. That doesn't mean I am oppose to the idea of shipping our characters together, there's a high-chance I will give it a shot.

Chemistry isn't always instant, we can always try to build it up just by discussing it together.

ARE YOU SHIP-OBSESSED OR SHIP MORE-OR-LESS?

I'm more in the middle. I do like shipping because it's fun to see what kind of dynamic Kuvira will have with other characters, but I'm not going to ship Kuvira with every character that comes to her way.

I'll respond it with my other muse: Kai'sa, from League of Legends! My favorite ship with her is with Akali! Though, I also do like her with Ahri and Evelynn as well.

There isn't really a hard "this is when they're good, this is when they're bad," they are core to several genres of media and can't be extracted from them. Most video games are power fantasies, just by nature of their mechanics.

I think this needs clarification, or perhaps an expansion on why they're common in video games and how it connects to mechanics.

A power fantasy revolves around the key question: what is the power? A good power fantasy reflects the answer. For example, Kai'sa wears a Void creature as a symbiote and they survive by preying on other Void creatures. The power comes from the Symbiote and its relationship with Kai'sa. The actual game play is... plasma blasts? Dashing? The power fantasy does not match the execution of what the power gives the person.

Gragas, meanwhile, is a great example of power fantasy done right. He's a big ol' bar brawler who distills hooch so strong it's "handle properly or it explodes" levels of sobriety-death. The powers are his mass and his liquor. His kit revolves around throwing exploding barrels of hooch and body slamming people with his big ol' belly.

Yes, OP protagonists winning everything with no challenge is boring, but this OP protagonist is building a sapphic cottagecore witch polycule with an ever-expanding harem of emotionally damaged lesbians, so... y'know. Maybe I'll give it a pass.

I think one needs to differentiate between power fantasy and the goal of the power fantasy. There's definitely a lot of isekai with some very different powers that achieve the same end fantasy of a cottagecore polycule harem; in the same way there's a lot of isekai with some very different power that achieve the same end fantasy of killing a lot jerkasses in world full of jerkasses where the Protagonist was somehow the only not-jerkass. Consider Reborn As A Vending Machine I Now Wander The Dungeon. The Protagonists power fantasy is literally to be a vending machine. The power is literally "can dispense goods in exchange for currency." That's a fairly unique power fantasy, but the show is still monotonous and unoriginal in its fantasy: a growing harem of young women who all love the Protagonist.

Okay, here’s an interesting one.

Before seeing your content, I’d basically only ever heard the term “power fantasy” used as a derogatory term to describe over-the-top protagonists who are strong and cool, but also boringly devoid of personality so the audience can project onto them. But then some of your League videos talked about skins letting characters like Gragas “inhabit more interesting power fantasies.”

So… when are power fantasies a good thing? The best I’ve got is that it only works in interactive media like video games so that the audience can more directly engage with the fantasy (essentially: Dante from DMC works, Kirito from SAO does not)

I mean, power fantasies are just endemic to storytelling as a whole. There isn't really a hard "this is when they're good, this is when they're bad," they are core to several genres of media and can't be extracted from them. Most video games are power fantasies, just by nature of their mechanics.

Power fantasy isn't a genre (usually), it is just a tool, same as any other trope or convention. It is a means to engage the audience with a story.

An RPG where you level up and become stronger to defeat more difficult enemies? That's a power fantasy. Undertale where you get the best ending by finding some way to spare absolutely every monster and end every fight mercifully? Power fantasy. The Tomb Raider reboot games that take an almost sadistic glee in putting Lara Croft through absolute hell both physically and emotionally? Those are power fantasies about overcoming and surviving those impossible challenges.

They're not just power fantasies, they have lots of other stuff going on, but power fantasy is an inherent part of them. Romance stories also often include power fantasies, specifically about the power of love. "He's broody, dark and broken, but my love can fix him" is a power fantasy, for example, as is "an unjust society keeps us apart, but we will defy everything to be together!"

Even being The Final Girl who beats the horror monster and walks away at the end of the movie can be a power fantasy, if a rather grim one.

If there is a general case where power fantasies become "bad," I think it is when the power fantasy is all there is, and it subsumes all other parts of the story. Shonen manga often runs into this as they get longer, and the power system and escalating battles against ever more powerful foes become the overriding driving force of the story, to the exclusion of everything else. Shaman King comes to mind for me as a particularly egregious example, or Bleach.

Isekai is also riven with this. You can't walk two steps these days without tripping on a "TRANSPORTED TO ANOTHER WORLD WITH MY SUPER OP CHEAT SKILL" premise, where the entire purpose of the story is simply to act out unchallenged wish fulfilment with no friction or tension or character development. Those stories get boring very very fast... unless of course the power fantasy being played out is your specific power fantasy. Yes, OP protagonists winning everything with no challenge is boring, but this OP protagonist is building a sapphic cottagecore witch polycule with an ever-expanding harem of emotionally damaged lesbians, so... y'know. Maybe I'll give it a pass.

It's generally less interesting and useful to observe THAT something is a power fantasy, than it is to observe WHAT KIND of power is being fantasized about. Zombie apocalypse stories are often power fantasies, for example, but there's a pretty noticeable difference between stories where the power fantasy is banding together and building a life with a found family in horrible circumstances, stealing joy from the end of the world in spite of everything... and stories where the zombie apocalypse is an excuse to enact paranoid right-wing prepper fantasies where the hero protects their property (home, land and women) against the verminous hordes of the monstrous Other, and is reified and uplifted by the employment of brutal violence.

the kda girls look absolutely impeccable!! how did you decide the way you drew each girl/their outfits? your art is so unique with them, you really bring them to life (if that makes sense)

Thank you! Half of it is me taking inspo from other kda artists, and as I got to know them as characters I started drawing them the way I saw them. A lot of their looks and outfits are based off of their personalities and notes I took from official artworks

Ahri - she's a leader, soft but knows when to take charge and guide her group. I went for a lighter blonde with her hair and less vibrant pink (to show time has passed since the 'MORE' era) and her whiskers are a more pink tone in the kdaverse than her runterra red. Kept her eyes gold at all times and her pupils are slits, but are often dilated. Fashion wise I noticed she might not like getting overheated/shows a lot of skin, so it's easy to pick fits for her. Pinks, nudes, denim, satin, fitted with a hint of sparkle and a touch of classy, but comfortable all around

Evelynn - second in command, dark and mysterious. She's expressive and creative (in her own way) with a "look at me" aura. I immediately locked into @linaisbluepancake version of Evelynn and never looked back. I hc Eve as black/afro Latina. Her freckles were from a quick zoom in on her MORE splash art, I just doubled how many she had. With hair I went more into a lavender tone thank pink, and I actually like the idea of her having a short curly pixie cut, but she changes it in public. Physical build I went for pear shaped(more hips n booty) instead of hourglass and gave my gal a tummy. Fashion is dark colors, leather, and latex. Lingerie is often worn as clothes (ex. bra=shirt) she prefers skirts and leggings to actual pants (anything that hugs her hips) and big jackets/blazers

Kai'sa - idk why, but I always saw Kai'sa with tan skin, and her accent just really sealed the deal she'd be from South Africa. I think she's really just that one ambiguously mixed kid in school, it suits her to me. Made her taller than in lore (she reaches nearly 6 ft instead of 5'6) and musclesss. Also gave her a more slanted nose, and for me her prime asset is them big ol peepers. Makes the deer nickname have a more obvious origin. Fashion taste is simple, easy to move around in fabrics and crop tops. She's like a more sporty vers. of Eve. Darker colors, turtlenecks, workout clothes, hardly ever anything too tight and those shoulders must be seen

Finally Akali - I heavily prefer Akali's tanned skin in both runterra lore and her pop/stars era. I think she dyes her hair often, and shaves her sides/has an undercut here n there. She's got scars mostly on her upper body and arms, and if you squint there's freckles there. Deep red brown eyes and small triangular eyebrows. Fashion style is more tomboyish. Having a taste for street wear(bay area style), tech wear, easy to throw on clothes. Likes oversized anything, and has an eye for color blocking in her looks. Often seen in orange, reds, off whites, black and blues and loves accessories

Kayleona. Always has been, always will be. That's not to say I won't or don't enjoy my other ships, it just means that this has been my longest standing ship for Leo, and have never once doubted it.

WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO RP WHEN IT COMES TO SHIPPING?:

Crossovers, OC & Canon ships, most types of dynamics really, even toxic ones. Leona is not picky ( She loves who she loves. ) and neither am I. I don't think I'd venture into dynamics that are too abusive with Leona, just because I can't see her staying in abusive relationships very long and it would make me uncomfortable to write such long term.

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?:

What a question. I tend to go on a case by case basis. Honestly it ranges and this universe has immortals and all that jazz. Age is an important factor when it comes to shipping for me though. I'd say in most cases, I prefer them to be no more than five years apart. I think, if they are not too far apart age wise, and are in similar phases of their lives, I can ship it. Sometimes ( I see this very much with younger muses tho. ) it gets really uncomfy because, well, someone might still be in school and figuring life out while the other has a job, has their shit together, etc. etc. and that is also a factor. The characters need common ground to build a relationship on. Then we have the whole shebang with immortal x mortal ships, or even immortal x immortal ships which... I won't bore you with right now tbh.

To a degree. But I promise I am not unreasonably picky, just be a decent person and if we vibe together we can ship no problems.

There it was again, the laughter, like a mending thread to the rip of time between them. Taliyah laughed heartily, imagining her dear friend picking the wrong turn and realizing what it ensued.

" It's good then, that I have a lifeguard license, " she replied, knowing that if her friend fell to the water, even in an agreed manner, she would surge in right after her.

This was the Kai'Sa she knew ; witty, exuberant, wild, and so very cool, no matter the situation. She'd come back from the world framed inside posters and screens, a world as far and alien as planets through a telescope's lense. A tension Taliyah hadn't noticed lifted then, as she realized she can still understand Kai'Sa, that Kai'Sa can still come back to whence she once took off.

Oh, and she surely hadn't lost her playful, trickster flare. Taliyah, still not fully adjusted, still just a little bewildered, did not expect the side hug to be a diversion. She fell right for it, reaching for the woman to hug her back, only to have her slip past and onto the street on her shiny wheels.

Taliyah guffawed.

Laughing, she threw down her board and jumped right on, building speed to catch up with prankster Kai'Sa.

" I see how it is, " she called after her.

Watching her nape, the long hair toussled by wind -- it felt like this was how she'd always seen Kai'Sa. Someone whose humor she could never quite match, whose ideas she couldn't have dreamed of, whose very form was otherworldly. Someone destined for incomprehensible greatness.

She could reach Kai'Sa and ride by her side today, because she slowed down for her. Her simple comment about hotdogs was a reminder of that.

" I can believe it, " Taliyah replied, smiling for her friend's sake -- though a part of her, that long-dulled sorrow for their friendship's prime, ached.

" Now I wish they did sell fancy food like that! I'd love to taste it -- and to see the special number. "

Taliyah strode closer then, to graze her friend's fingers with her own. " You'll be eating really, really unfancy food, just like we used to. "

Then, she gave her a playful look. " And, it'll be super tasty. You know, you're making me hungry-- I think I'll have to race you to that hotdog stand after all. "

Trying to outdo her friend this time, she launched herself past her, ramping up as much speed as she could sustain. With the wind in her clothes and her heart racing, she felt again the thrill, like the ray of a bygone sun.

Kai'Sa's new life had shaped her ; or perhaps, she herself had shaped it. Taliyah noticed all the little changes, from the way her friend moved to the way she talked. The same stitches, but with a different yarn.

Her journey, her ability to adjust and change was magnificent. Only she was capable of such a thing. For a long time now, Taliyah had watched her fly further and further ahead.

Yet, she never got out of sight. For some reason, she always returned to her ordinary friend. She was kind like that. So kind.

Taliyah smiled there in Kai'Sas embrace, listening. She too must've felt different in her friend's arms -- a little out of tune, fitting awkwardly where they used to be in sync. A little bewildered by her friend's increasing opulence.

Yet, as much as Kai'Sa had changed, she also hadn't. The boardwalk. Taliyah couldn't have thought of anything more fun.

As Kai'Sa pulled away, Taliyah turned to her, cheeks rosy. The gold brown of her gaze was heavy. " No, " she said softly, not knowing why she couldn't muster a bigger voice. " Of course I don't want that."

Whatever passed over her was gone quickly. She flung out her skateboard, holding it in a starting position, offering her friend a warm smile.

" You still remember the way? There's some construction going on. May have to find a way around. "

A soft, seaside wind tugged at her wild, poofy hair.

" I'd say race you, but I know how that's going to end. So I'll say, try to put up with old skateboard. She knows the way. "

Mirth twinkled in her eyes, but it was quick to soften.

" Let's make the most of your time off. I'm so glad you're here. Nothing sounds more fun, than boardwalk. "

Kai'sa turns to Akali with a weird look at first, but then softens after realizing why.

*Akali pulls out a gift wrap box from the pantry*

Akali: I wanted to give you a just because gift and I hope you like it.

Kaisa takes the box and carefully unwraps it to reveal a Lego bonsai tree set.

Kai'sa: Kali! I love it. You are such a sweetheart.

Akali: Ehehe. I knew you would love it. I was trying to find it everywhere since it was so popular. I'm glad you like it. Yo, we should build it together! Whatcha say?

Sims 4: Little Demon house

Okay here we go: 

 This is the outside, I think Eve and Kali would go something more pain looking, since they wouldn't want people to know where they live. Sims 4 still doesn't have cars but we garage doors, Eve would probably have a car outside and one inside

I always imagine that the sitting room and kitchen were more open plan.

Eve is old-school and likes CDs 

 Also the school bag is Ayame's 

 Also also next to the fireplaces are two consoles, those are Akali's, Ayame plays them here and there but prefers mobile games.

Eve has a bad habit of buying art because "It looks nice", I didn't know what to do with the space so I added a card-playing table.

Kitchen was decked out by Kai'sa and Akali. Eve just pick the colours. 

Also Eve uses the coffee machine, the cookie jar next to it is for Ayame

Dining room was a pain in the ass to screenshot. 

 I always thought this was a separate room, like a add on ? 

 The mirror's a reference to ch 2 of Little Demon and of course, Ayame hide under the table in ch 1 and in Try ch 4 this is where Eve and Akali have they're talk.

Garage would have a car and a motorbike if sims 4 let us have those 😒 

Anyways, Eve like to fix up her cars while Akali usually works out here, there's a lot of clutter since the pair usually throw whatever in here.

Originally, for the hallway, I was gonna have a rug but I decided against it because child. Also yes, Ayame does knock over those plants.

Bedroom, lots of items, Eve owns the tablet on top of the wardrobe, she likes to draw, she also wants to teach Ayame to play keyboard, usually Kali uses to write new music. 

The trophies are mix of Kda and True damage awards. Drawer is a reference to Try ch4.

Other side of the bedroom. Mirror is a reference to ch 3 of Try, the fat cat poster is something Akali thought was funny and bought. 

 The other posters are signed posters/jersey Akali got, the jersey was signed by the team she supports, pics near the closet are fam photos.

Closet. 

The boxes hold Akali's kunais from KDA/TD days, they're hidden from Ayame. The flag is from Akalynn's first pride, Akali hung it up in the closet and didn't realize the joke. Eve laughed at it and Akali was confused as hell😂

Study, actually hasn't shown up yet in the either fics Eve uses it for work, Akali usually games, Akali built the pc and really wants to build one with Ayame when she's older. 

Also the flowers are for Kali and were given by Eve for Mother's day ref to ch 3 of little Demon.

Spare bedroom, this is where Seraphine slept in ch 5 of Try. 

They tried to keep it neutral looking but Eve and Kali aren't great at that. 

Ayame wants this room when she's older because Sera used it, also Ayame won't let anyone else use it.

Bathroom. 

 When Kali and Eve got the house, they only needed one bathroom, they're regretting that now 😅

They’ve thought about turning the closet into a bathroom but haven't decided on the colour of the tiles.

Hana's room. 

 Akalynn always plan to clean it out but never did, for any Sims 3 player, Hana's crib is actually the Panda crib from the sims store, I like how that crib looks. 

They went for a nature theme because of Hana's nickname "little Cub"

Ayame's room. 

 Akalynn try not to use blues or pinks, Ayame's fav colours just so happens to be purple. 

 Also there's no tea sets in sims 4 so I put a block table instead. 

This was originally the room Akali slept in ch 4 of Try during the break-up

Finally the backgarden, Akali likes gardening, she usually does up the garden. 

Ayame likes it when Eve pushes her on the swing-set since it usually upsets Kali (ref to ch 4 of Try). 

 Kali usually plays basketball with Ayame, Ayame also lost one of her toys and they can't find it 🤔

Eve has security cams around the entrances, the front one is hidden cause Ayame doesn't like them.
