How to use blogs to bridge to your website and increase traffic
The Importance Of A Bridge Site
If you are like most Internet entrepreneurs, you start to collect different websites or web presences that are useful for generating traffic back to your site. Some of these places, like Digg, Facebook, or article archives can be a great resource in advertising your sales website on the Internet to specific demographics. However, many third-party sites have specific rules about the types of pages that people can use in their comments, their articles, and/or biographical information. Ezinearticles, for instance, won't allow you to link back to a sales page, and yet, this is at the heart of Internet marketing. You wouldn't be out there, if you weren't trying to get someone to buy something from you. So, what do you do? That's where you start to realize that there are ways to get around the rules that others put in place to limit your Internet marketing activities, and bridge sites are an important strategy to exploit. Even when a third-party doesn't ban you for linking to a sales page, there are also other times when it's just jarring to go from a link, say like in Facebook, to a sales page. In some ways, social networkers will judge such a move as “too commercial” and you can lose credibility in your authenticity that way. So, again, you want to implement a bridge site to smooth the way.
Why Blogs Are Ideal Bridge Sites
Web logs, a.k.a. “blogs,” are an excellent way to bridge from a site like a user-interactive social networking site to a commercial sales page. That's because they tend to be a mix of both. You have your daily blogs that you post, that are typically informal, casual in tone, and friendly, and you have links that are put on a blog that are expected to link to more commercial endeavors. The casual style is much in keeping with the style of social networking, and so it is less jarring to people who can be harvested from these sites and do not realize that they have begun to be marketed. This gives you an edge because there is less buyer's resistance on this format. Also, as long as you own the blog, you can link to anything that you want to link to, so that makes it ideal as a bridge site. And, the major search engines love to crawl blogs frequently because of the way content is updated more regularly, so you get a wider audience. In addition, you can put links in your blog posts that send people to different sales pages. You can set up a blog anonymously or with a pseudonym, and thus, no one has to know that the links you promote are from your own website. Once someone visits your blog, they should have an easy to remember URL that is all yours. Blogs can be addictive because the information should be updated once daily, if not more. As long as the information is informative and entertaining, you can get people to subscribe to your blog. This converts them from an anonymous viewer to someone who is now basically entering your sales funnel. You can then begin to offer them some deals or introduce them to the product lineups on other websites you own, that can convert them from subscriber to customer.
WordPress Is The Gold Standard
So, now you see the value in having a blog as an intermediary from third- party sites with massive traffic streams, to get potential customers into your sales pipeline. But, where do you start? WordPress is the gold standard of easy to implement blogs, and there are even some hosts that will put a site for you, which you end up customizing. However, there is a bit of confusion with WordPress that is important to clarify. The WordPress.org is a shareware software package that anyone can use for free. Some commercial people took that software and built WordPress.com, the .com extension signifying it is a commercial endeavor. That's a community of bloggers with WordPress blogs with limited features and heavy-handed guidelines. Some of the guidelines on WordPress.com don't allow you advertise the way you would want to do on a Internet marketing blog. In particular, you can't make any money off Google ads from your blog using WordPress.com. So, you want to make sure that you are using WordPress.org hosted on a site where the rights to add Google ads to the blog is not banned. That way you can make money through advertising too and you get all the features that are important to develop your Internet marketing blog.
Some Plug-Ins You Want To Use
WordPress features can be added through the installation of third-party software called “plug-ins.” There are many different plug-ins that are beneficial to the Internet marketer as there are numerous developers who are interested in pushing this market forward. The following list is far from comprehensive, but it gives you a good idea of some plug-ins you definitely want to get and install: - Akismet This plug-in is a spam filter and can save you loads of time moderating comments. It follows a database that is regularly updated of known spammers, so you don't have to read every single comment that comes to your blog. It will automatically filter the spam out and put it in a spam folder where you can look at it at your leisure. - Adsense Deluxe This plug-in lets you even add Adsense code directly into your blog posts, not just the sidebar. - DoFollow If you have a “do follow” blog you are more likely to attract visitors and blog commentators. That's because no follow blogs do not give credit for a backlink, which is why many people post in the first place. - Email Users If you are going to use your subscription list as an email contact list for your Internet marketing activities, you will need to add this plug-in. It lets you send email to your registered users. - Gregarious This helps you to connect to other site by giving the option for social bookmarking posts to places like Digg, Reddit, Facebook, and more. - WordPress e-commerce You can add a shopping cart to your blog with this particular plug- in. - All In One SEO Pack A “must have” plug-in for Internet marketers as it optimizes your pages to get great search engine page results. It's a great way to attract a lot of attention from search engines with minimal time investment. - Subscribe To Comments This plug-in helps people to track a comment stream on a particular post and keeps them coming back to your blog.
Grabbing Traffic From Third Party Sites
Once you've set up the blog and understand how you will take people from there to your website pages, either via links in your blog posts or sidebar, you still need to get people to visit your blog from other third-party sites. And, which third-party sites should you try to get a web presence on? Let's go over a few of the different places you can begin to cultivate a web presence for the purpose of grabbing traffic, and how to use each one with your blog to lead people from that area to your own. Other Blogs Once you've set up a blog, the natural place to start looking for traffic is other more high profile blogs in your market niche. If you don't know who these people are, you need to visit Technorati.com and put in a few keywords that are in your market niche to determine who the big players are. You should make it a point to build a list of blogs that you can add to your blog roll and see if by doing so, they add you to their blog roll. The blog roll is a list of blogs that other bloggers recommend and by getting added to a blog roll on a popular blog, you'll automatically get more traffic from the target niche that you've selected. Another way to get more traffic from blogs is to comment on the top profile blogs and leave a link to a blog post that addresses some aspect of the post. This way you play off on an already popular topic and you contribute to the conversation too. It's not considered spam to put your URL in a comment if it points to something that contributes to the conversation, not just a sales page. Again, you are using the bridge of your website to grab eyeballs and then once they get to your blog, you can market them there. Finally, you can also go to blog communities like WordPress.com and look on their featured stories and categories. Find one or two blog postings that you can reply to and contribute to the conversation. Once these blog posts are put on their featured page, you will get a lot of traffic if you post something interesting with a link back to your own blog. Since you're dealing with people who already to subscribe to blogs, it's a natural for increasing your blog subscribers too. Digg.com Digg is a social news site where people submit stories and other people vote on them. The more popular the news story becomes, the more it is highly ranked by Digg. It can even land on the front page of Digg, which will provide a megaboost of traffic for anyone who happens to land there. You can submit your story to Digg and get your friends and associates to vote for it. It can be a story you put on your blog on a popular subject. It doesn't matter than you're not an expert, as long as you can talk about the subject intelligently and make the story entertaining. If you know what subjects are generating controversy on the web, those are always a good subject to try to get into Digg, just be careful not to draw negative attention to your blog instead of positive attention. Social Bookmarking Sites Delicious.com is social bookmarking site that allows you to add different pages of your blog to a site where others can view it. Just be sure to use a permalink to a particular story, and not the entire blog URL. That way, you can tag each story with different tags and people will be able to zoom to them when they search the social bookmarking sites. There are many different social bookmarking sites, like Reddit too. They tend to have a large number of people and can be searched very easily. Social Networking Sites Facebook and MySpace are two examples of social networking sites. These sites tend to have strict rules about what you can post online on your profiles. Facebook, in particular, does not want people using their profiles to spam or soliciting other people on their business offerings and this activity can get you banned. However, there are ways to mine the rich vein of users that come to social networking sites to mingle online. First, you will have to set up a profile with your own name, not your business name. You can put up a Facebook page for your business, as a newer feature for those people who are trying to use Facebook to market. However, the Facebook profile should be all about you, not your business. There is an area in your profile where you can list your URLs of interest, and that's where you can add some of your business sites. The key to Facebook is to join in the casual atmosphere and network your way to more contacts. You can do this through groups, pages, friends, and networks. You should try to meet people who are in your market niche, but not to solicit them directly on Facebook. Instead, you can email and network through different commenting areas to get people interested in your blog. There are different applications that can help you insert your blog into your profile too. There is a Blog Network application, now formally called NetworkedBlogs, that allows you to post your blog, claim it, and get people to become a fan of it. You can network with other bloggers on Facebook too, by visiting their blogs and becoming a fan of them too, since it lists them too. It allows you to see blogs in your category fairly easily and to promote your blog to readers through the network. Send them a friend request to anyone that becomes a reader, to any other bloggers in your market niche, and now you have access to some of the audience that is in your market niche. When you comment on the wall of people you have friended, all of their friend's will see your comment and it can lead them to your blog. Just be careful not to spam their wall and make any comments relevant and not a solicitation. The blog network will take them directly outside Facebook to your blog and provide a steady stream of new people looking at your blog who are involved in your market niche. It's actually pretty simple when you know what applications to use. Another great feature on Facebook is the ability to create a page for your business, a brand or product, or if you are a performer, you can create one as an artist, band, or public figure. The difference between a Facebook page and your profile page is that you are allowed to actively promote your business on the page, but not the profile. And, your profile is limited to 5,000 friends, whereas the Facebook page is not. Some people even create a page for themselves when they hit the 5,000 friend limit, so they can continue to network on Facebook and add fans, if not friends. Another feature is groups, where you can add a group on any topic and get people to sign up. Like the Facebook page, people will become a fan and then you have a captive audience there. You may not have their email address, but it's the perfect place (both on the page and in the group) to promote your blog and get many people to go from Facebook back to your bridge, so that you can start to collect their email addresses. The funny thing about Facebook is that they are super paranoid about having marketers harvest emails. So, they don't add the email contact information in as text, it's an image. You can write the email down for each friend that you have, if it is showing in their information tab, but even sometimes it's not there either. So, it takes a bit of work to collect an email list from Facebook and if they catch you spamming or soliciting people with it, you risk losing your account. The smart way to do this is to simply entice them off Facebook back to your web log, where you have an offer that gives them something for free for providing their email. And, since Facebook has a culture of non-commercialism, the blog is a perfect intermediary step from Facebook to your sales page eventually. If you were to link in to the sales page directly, you might end up being banned by Facebook or at least dropped by a few friends. No one really wants to be marketed harshly on Facebook, and it takes some finesse to get people to trust you enough to buy from you. So, don't spoil it by being overenthusiastic with your business on Facebook. Master the art of the soft sell, and use an intermediary space to set the stage for your marketing offer. Article Directories People all across the web are in search of quality content. Sometimes they go to article directories where anyone is allowed to post free content, as long as it meets the criteria of the article directory. EzineArticles is one such directory that you can sign up for and start creating content for other people to grab and post on their websites. While it may seem counterproductive to create free articles that people can add to their own sites, as long as they reference back to you or the original article, it is just because of this feature that it makes it a great way to get traffic from many different places, not just the article archive. If your article becomes very popular, you may have several different places on the web linking to it, excerpting it, and all pointing back to you or the original article. This is in addition to the tons of traffic article directories naturally get from their own readers and the high placement in search engine result pages. Now, every article directory gives you, the author, a resource box where you can link to your own enterprises. You probably won't be able to actively promote your links within the article, as there are strict rules forbidding linking from an article in an article directory to a sales page. However, you can post a link in your resource box pointing to your enterprises there and you are typically allowed at least two links. As your articles grow in popularity, they can generate third-party traffic to your sites for an extended period of time. At first, you will get an instant boost because the article will automatically go on the front page for a period of time. After that, it will depend on how well you optimized it for Google keywords and popularly searched topics, as to how often it is read or accessed. So, you do have to do a little extra work to get your articles to be highly searchable for a period of time. But, after that, once they're up, you can forget about them and let the article directories, the search engines, and the topic do the work for you. What's nice about submitting to article directories is that you can post multiple articles on different topics, related but not exact. So, if you have many different websites, you can post on different topics without creating a new account. Readers who like one story, will see other stories you have written and might be tempted to go further to look you up. Always give them a reason in your resource box to click on the link you provide to your blog where they can find even more material that is relevant to that article. Social Search Engines A great way to grab traffic is to go to a social search engine like StumbleUpon. This search engine doesn't use keywords to assign relevancy. All the pages are submitted by users of the search engine who categorize them and they can even give them a “thumbs up.” Even if you don't get that many thumbs up, just submitting different posts from your blog can help to drive traffic there because the pages are randomly “stumbled” when people search for different topics. So, you stand a pretty good chance of showing up on anyone's pc if they use StumbleUpon as their search engine. As with many other types of services that are social in nature, the less commercial you appear, the better it is for you. And, you want to keep submitting content to the search engine repeatedly to get more hits. That means your blog is ideal for submitting permalinks that go to different stories on your blog to attract attention there. Once people visit your blog, they can be lead to other areas of your web empire via links in the blog post, links in the sidebars, or promotional offers to subscribers of the blog. In order to use StumbleUpon, all you have to do is install the toolbar into your web browser. From there, it's a simple matter to use the thumbs up button to quickly add your submissions to the search engine. Just make sure you add the permalink and not the entire blog URL, or you will have multiple copies of the front page instead of multiple stories showing up. And, of course, the story on the front page of your blog changes when new content comes up, so the categories and tags change too. Read the full article

Features of WordPress:-
WordPress is open-source software.
It’s flexible.
You can customize your site fully.
You’re able to build any type of website.
It’s easy to find help and support.
Steps to create website in WordPress
Step 1: Choose good Domain name
What is Domain?
A domain name is the name of the website which user search.
Search and buy domains with WordPress. WordPress has its own name registrar which allows you to get your name while you build your WordPress site.
Alternatively, you'll purchase a website name from another provider then integrate it together with your WordPress site.
Make sure your domain name represents your brand or the ambitions of your site, and that the extension you choose is appropriate to the region you’re in.
WordPress and other name registrars assist you choose a website name which will be good for your SEO by ranking them.
I recommend beginners to go with Godaddy which is one of the best Domain registrar in the world. Most of the Domain name are registered in Godaddy.
If you are looking for Domain at a cheap price you can go with Namecheap.
Step 2: Choose a host for your website
Why do you need hosting services?
Hosting is important As you need some space on the web to store your website information like images, video and graphics and media files.Choosing a good host is not difficult.
WordPress recommends three web hosts from the hundreds available.
Web hosting services allocate your website space on the web so it's ready to deal with the stress of a billboard website, like large numbers of tourists , and remain online.
If your site is intended as a personal project that you share with few people, you should use WordPress.com, instead of WordPress.org, as it has free plans available which allow small numbers of tourists to access your site freely.
However, if you intend to build a site for commercial purposes, you’ll need to choose a web hosting service.
Over 100 web hosting services are compatible with WordPress, but WordPress advises that you simply use BlueHost, DreamHost, or SiteGround because it considers these services the simplest .
I personally use Godaddy hosting services to host my websites but I am switching my host to site ground because of its unique feature and fast loading time.
If you have some more money to invest you can go with Cloudways which is costly but it will increase your website speed dramatically.
Comment Below which hosting services are you going to use for the wordpress.
Step 3: Installing WordPress on server
Manually install WordPress or use an automatic installation service. Many WordPress hosts automate the method of putting in WordPress.
All you’ll need to do is log in to your WordPress instrument panel or web host and click on a button. The entire process takes five minutes maximum.
Alternatively, you'll manually install WordPress by downloading the package then creating a database for it on your web server.
Step 4:General Setting in wordpress
Log into your wordpress account and then go to setting and then you can change the setting from there.
Step 5: Choosing a great theme.
WordPress has around 8,000 stylish themes to settle. WordPress sites are endlessly customizable. Themes allow novices to adapt elements like color or font with none technical skills.
However, if you would like to form deep design customizations, you’ll need CSS coding skills, or to rent a developer with these skills.
Because WordPress has an astonishing range of customizable themes in varied styles, though, you should be able to avoid this.
First, choose your WordPress theme. WordPress itself offers 8,000 themes designed with a spread of business and media niches in mind.
Some are free and others are paid. Navigate from your WordPress dashboard to Appearance, then Themes to browse.
When you’ve found the one you like, activate it.
If one of WordPress’s 8,000 themes doesn’t meet your requirements, you can find one on a third-party site, download it to your computer as a Zip file, and install it in the Themes tab by clicking Upload.
Then, activate your uploaded theme, as you'd one that's already integrated.
Choosing a good theme is important as it determines your website appearance and loading Time.
You can choose your theme based upon your business requirements like if you have to create a website you can go with genesis framework and if you want to start your own blog you can go with Generate press.
I am currently using Generate press premium theme on my website. It is super light and fully customizable. You can also use the Astra theme whose free version is quite good but does not provide better flexibility.
I recommend you to go with Generate press which is best for beginners and it is cheap when compared to other themes.
Step 6: Installing Essential plugins
Plugins enhance the capabilities of your site and protect it. Plugins are software additions that enhance the capabilities of your WordPress site. There is a wide variety available to meet the functional requirements of almost any business, including e-commerce inventory systems, SEO tools, and tools to enhance your site’s security.
List of Essential Plugins for WordPress
Site Kit by Google-For managing search console analytics and AdSense at one place
Anti Spam - Protect your website for spammers
Rank Math or Yoast SEO - For SEO Purpose
Short Pixel - compressing the size of image
contact Form 7 - Creating Contact form
For Customizing your website you need theme Editor Plugin like thrive Architect and Elementor to give your website a professional look.
I am currently using both of them but if you don't have money to invest you can go with any of them. Both are the best.
Thrive Architect- Best for customizing your Blog post and articles.
Elementor pro- Best for making Landing Pages.
Step 7: Create Content
Create content to offer your site authority . Content is what lends your site authority and is that the reason that sites rank on search engines.
First, add essential information content to your website, like the About Us, FAQ, and Contact Us pages, as well as legal information (Shipping/Returns, etc.).
From the WordPress dashboard, you'll easily navigate to the Pages tab and build content from there.
Once you've got your essential content, you'll create product pages or blogs. Installing a plugin that imparts SEO advice, like Yoast, as you create content will help your site rank better on search engines.
Step 8: Optimize your Website for user Experience.
Encourage a conversation by allowing comments. Once your site has the proper theme, domain, and plugins, you would like to make sure the purchasers or readers who visit your site enjoy the experience.
Decide what your audience is trying to find and optimize your site’s features to satisfy their requirements.
First, build a Menu bar which makes it easy for your website’s visitors to navigate exactly where they want to go.
Choose Appearance in the WordPress dashboard and click Menus to build or customize a menu bar.
Choose whether to enable or disable comments to encourage a conversation.
Head to Settings and then Discussion to decide whether you want comments enabled on all posts, or just on blogs.
Conclusion
Building a site with WordPress is slightly more complicated than it's with website building platforms like Wix or Weebly.
The extra effort pays off, because of the near infinite number of plugins available to enhance your site’s functional capabilities.
Do confirm you avoid these WordPress mistakes while building your site. Conduct a little research on WordPress for beginners before you start, so the process goes smoothly.
WordPress beats many of its competitors with its sheer variety of themes and plugins.
You can create any kind of site you want from your WordPress dashboard.
Despite of sites like Wix offering good customization options and a few ability to tinker with the CSS code, sites remain less and adaptive than those hosted on WordPress.

Are you looking for the list of free blog sites to launch a new personal blog?
Whether you know it or not, blogging is one of the best ways to make money online. I’m the live example of the one who makes money from online and I’ve been successfully making money from several blogs for the last 7 years now.
Generally blogs are available in two forms, one is free and the other is self-hosted blogs (Premium) where you have to pay money. Both of them have their own pros and cons. Free blogging platforms are free to use though you won’t have full control over your sites whereas in self-hosted sites you have to pay money for domain and hosting to run your sites (and you’ll have full control on your sites) .
If you are just starting out your blogging journey, you can start with a free personal blog. There can be lots of reasons why you want to try your hands on free blogging sites first. The most obvious reason could be the cost. With blog posting sites, you won’t be paying a single penny for your domain name and hosting space. Quick Note: Do you want to start a blog? Here’s a simple step by step tutorial on how to start a blog in 2019 within 10 minutes.
How Does Your Blog Address Look Like With Free Blogging Sites?
On free blogging websites, you will be getting a sub-domain as your personal blog address.
For example, if I try to registering bloggers passion as my blog URL on WordPress.com, my ultimate blog URL in that case will be bloggerspassion.wordpress.com (If it happens to be available). So WordPress.com will be added with each blog which is created for free on WordPress.com.
Here’s how it looks like;
The same thing applies when you went on to create blogs on other free blogging platforms like blogger.com, weebly.com and blog.com etc. So the general blog syntax for your blog address will be abc.blogspot.com or abc.wordpress.com where abc is your blog name.
Here are few pros and cons of using free domain names through various free blog writing sites.
Pros of a free domain name:
You will be getting a free domain name for lifetime (unless you violate rules)
Wide range of free domain names (you’ve to be creative to come up with memorable domain names)
Cons of a free domain name:
It looks odd with the .blogspot.com or .wordpress.com
Your audience might think you are not serious about blogging
You don’t know when it will disappear
Free blog writing platforms add cheap look to your sites often!
So enough about the importance of having free blogging platforms to star blogs. Here is the ultimate list of free blogging sites that you can use for creating free blogs of your own (the following list of blogging platforms are in no order, means, every blogging platform has its own pros and cons).

2. WordPress.com
WordPress is also one of the most reliable and widely used free blogging platform. After Blogger.com, it’s WordPress which is the most used and most powerful content management system for bloggers. You can use WordPress for creating personal blog sites, professional and I would say blog of any type. You will get most of the features that you were enjoying on Blogger.com but you will have very few options when you think of monetizing your free blog (sub-domain) on WordPress.com.
Over 17% of the websites worldwide are hosted on WordPress content management system. This is indirectly telling the importance of using WordPress.com to create free blogs. If you want to start your blog on a self hosted CMS, you can do that too using WordPress.org. One of the widely used CMS in the world and almost every industry blogger uses WordPress.org to run their websites.
You can use WordPress blogging software on your custom domain by downloading it from WordPress.org website and uploading it on your purchased web space. It does not take much time in installing WordPress on WordPress friendly web hosts. If you don’t know how to do it, you can use Bloggers Passion free WordPress Installation service.
There are some limitations that should be in your mind if you are thinking of using WordPress for creating your first free blog site:
You will just get a sub-domain with them
You cannot install themes or plugins that are not in WordPress official directory. You can access WordPress free themes and plugins directory from here and here.
You cannot use Google Adsense, Amazon or any other monetization program that asks you add certain java Script or PHP code into your blog.
But you can get free from these and many more limitations if you went on to Start a blog from Scratch. By using a self hosted blog, it’s not only easy to manage your sites, but you can also make money blogging if you put some bucks on SEO, content writing or design.

Free blogging is always an issue for beginners. They think about blogging with WordPress. Self-hosted version of WordPress is a useful one but many bloggers go for free one because for them starting with some cost matters a lot. This will definatle right.
Anil Agarwal says:Reply
That’s so true Janitha, free blogging sites have their own downsides as they don’t offer you full control over your sites. But if you’re just blogging for fun or looking to share your thoughts, they are great. Or if you’re looking to make serious money or build your online reputation, then, you should definitely avoid free blogging sites.

WordPress is my personal favourite and after that comes blogger. I’d never prefer other free blogging sites unless you are doing it just for you hobby and don’t really care about your articles. If anyone who is serious about Blogging and planning to go full-time in it they should always prefer going with WordPress.org. Although, it needs some upfront investment but every penny is worth it once you start to get 10X the ROI. 🙂

Hi. I use Weebly. I find it unreliable for uploading and posting photos. I use it mainly for posting photos for family to follow my comings and goings. I crashes a lot, especially from my phone. Also, it can not be posted to from my iPad. Most annoying.
Hi Anil, Thanks for this amazing list of free blog sites. Except for some 3-4 sites i never heard of these free blogging platforms. Luckily I got through your valuable post and now I’m trying how to get most of these sites.
Hi, Anil Nice collection of free Blogging Site. You did a great work. Because blogging is one of the best practice every one out there are doing but none of them no the free site. For those who are looking for free website this will be helpful for them. Thanks for sharing it great blog.
I am going to create a blog for my recently launched website. I have a question regarding these blog. Are the free blogs useful in terms of SEO? Should I do SEO work on these free blogs also?
Anil Agarwal says:Reply
Hey Allan, that’s a great question. Free blogs are definitely not bad in terms of SEO. Take a look at the WordPress alternatives as well (https://bloggerspassion.com/wordpress-alternatives/) once to see a variety of options. There are few sites that provide excellent SEO features such as WordPress and also provide you full control over your sites.
When i started blogging, my first free blogging platform was wordpress.com then when i realize that i cannot make a lot of customization, i migrated to blogger, and in the end i still bought my own hosting and tranfered to a self hosted blog. I recommend if you a free blogging platform, choose blogger.
Anil Agarwal says:Reply
If you’re really serious about making money from blogging, go for a self-hosted WordPress blog as it provides you full control. Self hosted platform like WordPress is where you go to actually download a WordPress and easily install host the WordPress platform on your own server.
Hey they!
In recent times, WordPress.com has been the most valuable website for opening a blog website. Well, I haven’t used livejournal.com but all I wish to know are the limitations of all the listed free blog websites from the paid sites?
Why do most bloggers use wordpress.com most often?
Anil Agarwal says:Reply
Emmanuel, we have already covered about the pros and cons of free blog sites in this post. Please check this post once and let us know in case you have additional question for us.
Hi, Anil Nice collection of free Blogging Site. You did a very good job. Because blogging is one of the best practice in off page and great job this web site provides SEO options and dynamic look for the website. Thnks for sharing great blog A very helpful for website
Anil Agarwal says:Reply
Yes, blogging is definitely a great way to make money online and most of the free blogging sites shared here provide excellent features like drag and drop builder, SEO and so on. So make sure to check out each one of them and use the right one.
Hi Anil,
I agree with you, it can be a great thing to start on a free platform. Although, I started on a self-hosted blog from the get go. You can definitely save money by starting on a free platform.
Plus it will help you see if you really want to work this hard to grow your blog. It does take quite a bit of time to grow an online reputation and get people to start coming back.
If I was to do it over, I would start my blog on a self-hosted blog again. I wouldn’t want to have to migrate everything later when my blog gets big and popular.
Thanks for sharing this with us, have a great day 🙂
Susan
Anil Agarwal says:Reply
Hi Susan, glad to see you around here.
Using free blogging sites, you can quickly launch a new blog without having to spend even a penny as most of the above listed sites provide you excellent features and storage space. Once you find ways to make money from online, you can start using sites like WordPress where you can invest money on hosting, domain etc.
Really Great list of Website and very useful, I have often use Weebly.com, this website provides SEO options and dynamic look for the website.
Anil Agarwal says:Reply
True that, Weebly is great for SEO purposes and also used by over 40 million people worldwide. Using Weebly, you can literally create anything from an online store to portfolio sites or SEO friendly websites to drive more leads and profits to your online website.
I always tell people when they’re starting out blogging that Free sites like Bloggers is the best way to start out because they allow you to put ads in the header, beginning paragraph of your blog posts, sidebar, bottom of the blog post, and footer of the blogger blog. One thing they want to do when starting a free blog is to make sure they have a copy of their contents either on their desktop PC or automatically sent to Google Drive. The reason for saving a copy of their content to their laptop or desktop PC or sent to their Google drive is because their blog can be deleted anytime for any or no reason. Being that the blogging platform they’re blogging on is public domain and anyone can report their blogs or any or no reason, it should motivate the amateur blogger to backing up their content and using the free blog platform form as an avenue of practice of strategically getting their content marketing ideas together and gaining some type of experience. Or just getting in the consistent mindset of posting blogs daily or every other day. This valuable experience I think will give them the inspiration and the proper blogging mindset so when they purchase their own domain and dedicated web hosting package, they’ll know how to keep going the extra mile in terms of blogging, content marketing, and having a piece of mind not having to worry about getting their blog deleted for whatever reason.
I would personally recommend free blogging platforms for anyone looking to gain experience and transition into the mindset of consistent blocking. It gives a person much to look forward to in terms of optimizing their writing style and building relationships with their readers without having to shell out one red cent for it a domain name and hosting. I personally tried Blogger.com back in 2005 when I knew nothing about blogging and affiliate marketing. Back then, I was an affiliate of Walmart.com and didn’t have the complete concept understood about blogging back then, content marketing, and making money in affiliate marketing. Though I made tons of mistakes and didn’t completely understand what a blog was and how it could make money while fiddling with some Walmart ads from LinkShare inside of certain positions in a blogger.com blog, I was able as an inexperienced Internet marketer-blogger to make money from the Walmart affiliate program through my blogger blog and collect a commission check a little over $72. I thought at that time I was really onto something and decided to stick with this line of work as my love slowly and quietly rule for blogging and affiliate marketing. I continue fiddling with the blogger free blogging platform and managed to potentially earn a few more dollars from the affiliate ads in it, some including Google AdSense.
So I’m really glad you put up this post about free blogging sites because it brought back some good memories of the days that I started when I knew nothing about blogging and making money online. I didn’t know about the other free blogging platforms because my mind was elsewhere at the time and was only concerned with knowing one free blogging platform that I can put some ads in my blog and start earning a few bucks just to see how serious this online business stuff really was at the time. Well, thanks again for putting this post up and I hope to read more from you soon! 🙂
Anil Agarwal says:Reply
Wow, that’s a very lengthy comment and I really appreciate your time for sharing your thoughts with us. It definitely helps new bloggers to pick the right choice for starting a free blog online. I agree with most of your points that one need to take a full backup of their contents as most free blogging sites don’t provide you any backup feature. Apart from that, you also need to focus on finding a monetization strategy as soon as possible so you can move to something better option like WordPress.
blog.com is gone! My breast cancer story blog is no longer available. I can’t believe it is gone. I should have made a copy, but I usually use blogger and they are so reliable. Not sure why I tried this instead. Devastated! 🙁
Anil Agarwal says:Reply
Unfortunately it’s gone and thousands of people lost their blogs as well. Sad to hear that your precious content is gone. That’s the reason why you need to only pick those free blogging sites with millions of people using it (sites like WordPress.org, Weebly, Blogger etc). Hopefully you’re still blogging on a good blogging platform.
The above websites are very useful, but I am a little bit confused with LiveJournal & Edublogs. Because my friend told me that both of the websites have robot issue. Please reply. Thanks
Anil Agarwal says:Reply
I don’t think so. Live Journal is a really good platform and if you’re looking for even better alternatives, you can check out this post: https://bloggerspassion.com/wordpress-alternatives/
hello!
great research on blog platforms.your suggested platform very informative for newly bloggers.IN my blogging carrier i have used many blogging platforms like blogger, tumblr etc.but i like WordPress most.
Thanks for information
Anil Agarwal says:Reply
Yes, I’m also into blogging for a long while now and I’ve tried so many blogging sites but WordPress seems to be the best option among all. WordPress is, by far, the most popular open source Content Management System which is actually used by approximately 75 million websites. Not only WordPress is free to install and upgrade but you can also find a ton of useful plugins and themes.
Veerrry good list of blog platform providers. I saw today many other similar pages, but yours collects indeed the best platforms for blogers. IMHO own hosted (f.i. on a cheap hosting) blog, installed on wordpress or something like that, would be always better choice – there are so much more options, you can use or not, but they are there 😉 But of course, for beginners it could be to difficult, then the better option is a free blog platform like the platforms on your list. Thank you!
Anil Agarwal says:Reply
If you’re on WordPress, you can find so many cheap yet reliable hosting services like Bluehost (instead of going for unknown and less popular hosting choices) as they also provide you free domain name. If you want more info: you can check out this post: https://bloggerspassion.com/how-to-install-wordpress-on-bluehost-in-under-5-minutes-with-screenshots/
LiveJournal is nofollow. And SquareSpace is trial only. Try Zoho or SnackWebsites.
Anil Agarwal says:Reply
It doesn’t matter whether it’s nofollow or not as we’re only talking about the free blogging sites. Thanks so much for your other suggestions as well!
Hi Anil,
I am starter blogger person and i follow you last six month your all post and read very careful so you all post useful for me. and i am asking one question can you advise me best theme for starter blogger.
Anil Agarwal says:Reply
First of all, thanks so much for following me for so long time and I’m really glad to know that you’re reading our blog posts, hopefully you’re learning new things. For starting bloggers, there are so many options out there, I suggest you to check out Elegant themes once.
Hi Anil!
Would you mind if I ask you what theme are you using for this blog? I liked it very much and would want a similar one (using same will not be good).
I hope you will be able to answer this.
Thnks! Dhakkanz
Anil Agarwal says:Reply
Dhakkanz, its a custom build theme which is designed by designer.
Hi. I use Weebly. I find it unreliable for uploading and posting photos. I use it mainly for posting photos for family to follow my comings and goings. I crashes a lot, especially from my phone. Also, it can not be posted to from my iPad. Most annoying.
Anil Agarwal says:Reply
If you’re using a site only for uploading pics, I think you should better check out Tumblr as most people I see post a ton of photos and it’s also a great platform that offers you a ton of options for storage. So go give it a try if you’re not happy with Weebly.
Blog.com is a piece of crap, it never works right and the server is down a lot, it runs slow. Especialy in the last 10 days, it has been horrible. You can only know a blog by actually trying it, don’t tell people how great it if you haven’t used on a daily basis like i have.
Anil Agarwal says:Reply
Anil Agarwal says:Reply
Shams, we recently updated this post and added 5 more free blog creation sites into this list. I hope this will help you. Please let us know in case we are missing any popular free blogging platform here.
Blog.com is no more active now and thousands of people who’re using their platform lost their content and sites. You can better check out this post if you’re serious about building your blog on a professional platform: https://bloggerspassion.com/wordpress-alternatives/
ucoz.com is the site which lets you control the way your site works. You can add css, scripts, html, pages, entries, multiple users, multiple subdomains. It provides the option of search through tags, common search. Moreover own themes can be added with full style sheet control.
Anil Agarwal says:Reply
Heard a lot of good things about Ucoz, thank you for your suggestion, will definitely check it out and include it as well in the future. I guess it’s already offering easy to use drag-and-drop website builder with an intuitive interface designed for businesses. Keep sharing more information.
Hi Anil,
Free blogging is always an issue for beginners. They think about blogging with WordPress.org or WordPress.com. Self-hosted version of WordPress is a useful one but many bloggers go for free one because for them starting with some cost matters a lot.
Blogspot and WordPress.com are the leading websites which provide opportunity to blog free of cost.
You have listed some great websites to use by newbies.
Great post indeed.:)
Have a nice week ahead.
~Ravi
Anil Agarwal says:Reply
Hi Ravi, as you said, free blogging sites are definitely an issue for anyone including beginners as they don’t provide you much control, features, security, storage and so on but the only reason to consider them is when you’re starting out, it’s always better to start for free (unless you’re ready to spend some money on things like hosting, design etc). Thanks for the comment.
WordPress.com is the best site for creating blog as wordpress provides various themes and plugins to use . But I think blogger.com is the anathor great site for begginers. Blogger.com and wordpress are two most popular blogging sites also tumbler is popular but it didnt provide options like wordpress
Anil Agarwal says:Reply
WordPress.com doesn’t provide you plugins WordPress.org provides you all the plugins. The major difference between both of them is WordPress.com is completely free to use whereas the latter one requires hosting, domain etc. You can check this post if you’re curious: https://bloggerspassion.com/blogger-vs-wordpress/
I have only tried 3 out of that list, Blogger, LiveJournal & WordPress. I then discovered the wonderfulness of self-hosting my own WordPress blog and have never even contemplated looking anywhere else. 🙂
Anil Agarwal says:Reply
That’s what I think about WordPress too. Once you’ve realised the importance of using WordPress.org, you’ll never go back to any other blogging platform. It’s just like becoming an Apple fanboy, once you’re addicted to Apple products, you’ll never go back to something else.

How to Properly Change a WordPress Theme (Ultimate Guide)
Are you planning to change the WordPress theme of your website? WordPress makes it super easy for users to change and manage themes on their site.
However, you must remember that changing the appearance of your live website is a major event. You need to keep certain things in mind before and after you change a theme, so you don’t lose any data and website traffic.
In this article, we’ll show you the step by step process on how to properly change a WordPress theme with a step by step checklist.
Here’s a quick overview of what you’ll learn in this article:
Things to Do Before Changing a WordPress Theme
How to Install a WordPress Theme
How to Change WordPress Theme Without Going Live
How to Change WordPress Theme on a Live Site
How to Change WordPress Theme Manually from the Database
Things to Do After Changing a WordPress Theme
Things to Do Before Changing a WordPress Theme
While changing a theme is literally a few clicks away, you must take some precautionary steps before starting the process.
We recommend that you to go through the following checklist to ensure that the process of changing your WordPress theme goes smoothly, and you don’t end up losing important data.
1. Copy Snippets from Your Current Theme
Some intermediate WordPress users like to customize their website by adding code snippets directly to the functions.php file of their theme.
Since these changes were made once, people usually forget about them.
If you or your web developer made these changes, then make sure to go through the files of your current theme and note down all the additional code that you’ve added previously. This will allow you to add them later into your new theme’s functions.php file or a site-specific WordPress plugin.
2. Test Load Time
Before changing your theme, you should check the load time of your website, so you can easily compare the differences in the page load time after you made changes to your website.
Remember, WordPress speed is an important factor in user experience and SEO, so you need to make sure that the new theme is faster than your previous one.
You can check your website speed by using a tool like Pingdom.
Make sure that you test the load time of the homepage and also some of your inner pages.
3. Don’t Lose Any Tracking Code
Some users add their analytics tracking code directly to their theme files. Also, there are WordPress themes that allow you to add Adsense or Analytics code in their settings panel.
One of the most common mistakes beginners make is to overlook these codes.
You need to make sure that you copy all the tracking codes, so you can add them to your new site after changing the theme.
To future proof this, we always recommend users to install Google analytics using a plugin like MonsterInsights, and for other tracking code we recommend using the header and footer plugin.
4. Make a Full Backup
It’s always recommended to back up your posts, images, plugins, and the database before changing your theme.
You can use a WordPress backup plugin to create the backup of your entire site. Make sure that you download this backup to your computer before moving forward.
This step will ensure that you can recover your website easily if anything goes wrong.
5. Sidebar Content
Sidebars are used for adding different widgets including social links, advertisements, subscription forms, or a contact form.
Make a note of these changes. If there is any custom code added into a widget, then make sure you copy and paste this code on your computer, so you can reuse it in your new theme.
6. Keep Your Site on Maintenance Mode
It’s a good practice to put your website on maintenance mode when you’re making changes to it. You don’t want your visitors to see an under construction site, right?
We recommend using the SeedProd plugin for this purpose.
It’s a popular WordPress plugin that allows you to easily create beautiful coming soon and maintenance mode pages for your site.
To keep your site on maintenance mode, you need to install and active the SeedProd plugin.
Next, head over to SeedProd » Settings page to configure plugin settings. Here you need to select the Enable Maintenance mode radio button and click on the Save All Changes button.
How to Install a WordPress Theme
After following the above precautions, the next step is to install a theme that you want to use on your site.
There are thousands of free and paid WordPress themes available for you to pick from. The fact that you’re reading this article means you’ve likely found a good theme for your needs.
If you haven’t already selected a theme, then we can highly recommend the following WordPress themes to you:

Anyways, we hope the above recommendations will help you to choose a WordPress theme for your site.
Once you’ve selected a theme, you need to install it on your WordPress site. Y
ou can use any of the following 3 methods to install a WordPress theme:
Using the WordPress theme search option

Installing a theme using FTP
You can check out our beginner’s guide on how to install a WordPress theme for help.
How to Change WordPress Theme Without Going Live
Once you’ve installed your new theme, you are ready to switch themes.
However, it’s always recommended to test a theme before switching to it on your live website.
This way you’ll be able to check the compatibility of the new theme with your existing plugins and make sure that everything is working properly as desired.
There are two ways that you can use to change your WordPress theme without going live:
1. Live Preview Option
By default, WordPress allows you to preview a theme on your website without changing it.
To do that, head over to Appearance » Themes from the left sidebar of your admin panel.
On this page, you’ll see all the installed themes on your site. You need to hover your mouse over the theme you want to preview and click on the Live Preview button.
This will open your new theme in the WordPress Theme Customizer. You can now test your new theme and make sure that everything is working properly.
2. Theme Switcha Plugin
Another option is to use the Theme Switcha plugin. It allows you to preview your new theme without activating it.
First, you need to install and activate this free plugin. Next, go to Settings » Theme Switcha from the left sidebar of your admin panel.
On the Settings page, you need to select the “Enable theme switching” option and then, scroll to the bottom of the page to click on Save Changes.
This plugin will now display all your installed themes at the bottom of this page. Go ahead and click on your new theme to preview it on a new tab of your web browser.
How to Change WordPress Theme on Live Site
After you have tested your new theme, it’s time to start the process of switching the theme on your WordPress site.
To do that, go to Appearance » Themes from the left sidebar of the WordPress admin panel.
On this page, you need to hover the mouse cursor over the theme you want to use and then click on the Activate button to change the WordPress theme.
Now you can visit the homepage of your website to see the new theme in action.
How to Change WordPress Theme Manually
Sometimes an error can make your WordPress admin area inaccessible. In that case, you won’t be able to change the theme using the above method.
To recover your website, you need to restore it from backup, or you may troubleshoot the WordPress error causing the problem.
However, if you don’t have a backup, then you can change the theme manually with the help of phpMyAdmin.
This method allows you to inform WordPress which theme to use by changing the information in the database.
First, you need to connect to your website using an FTP client and go to the /wp-content/themes/ folder.
Here you’ll be able to see all the themes that are currently installed on your website. You can also install a WordPress theme via FTP if you don’t see it.
Next, you want to write down the folder name of the theme you want to use because you’ll need it later.
After that, you need to go to the cPanel of your WordPress hosting account. On this page, you will have to scroll down to the Databases section and then click on phpMyAdmin.
Once you are in phpMyAdmin, you’ll see a list of databases on the left side of the screen. Simply click on the database that you are using for your WordPress site.
Next, it’ll show you the list of tables in this database. You need to click on the “wp_options” table to open it.
Note: By default, WordPress use wp_ as the prefix for the table names. However, it’s possible to have a different database prefix, as shown in the above image.
Now you need to locate the template and stylesheet rows on the right panel.
Next, click on the Edit link present in the “template” row to open the editor.
Here you need to change the value in the option_value field to the theme name that you want to use. It’s usually the same as the folder name in /wp-content/themes/ folder that you copied earlier.
Once you’re done, click on the Go button to save the changes. Next, go ahead and repeat the same process for the “stylesheet” row.
After making changes to both the rows, you can go to your website to see the new theme in action.
Things to Do After Changing Your Theme
Once you’ve changed the theme on your website, you need to take care of certain things before turning off the maintenance mode.
You can check out the following checklist of things to do after changing your WordPress theme:
1. Test Your Website
First, you need to make sure that all the functionalities, plugins, and widgets are working properly.
You should invest some time to test your website and check out different things including the posts, comment section, images, and the contact form.
2. Cross Browser Compatibility
Browsers have a tendency of showing certain things differently.
To make sure that your website looks good in every major browser, you should test your site in different web browsers including Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer.
3. Add Tracking Code
After you’ve tested the features and the cross-browser compatibility, you should add your analytics and Adsense tracking code to your site.
You can use the MonsterInsights plugin to add the Google Analytics tracking code. This will allow you to properly setup analytics and view detailed website stats right inside your WordPress dashboard.
4. Turn Off Maintenance Mode
You can disable the maintenance mode on your site to make it go live.
If you’re using the SeedProd plugin, simply go to SeedProd » Settings from the left sidebar. On the settings page, select “Disabled” and click on Save All Changes to turn off the maintenance mode.
5. Test Loading Time
You need to go to the Pingdom website again to test the loading time of your homepage after changing the theme.
Next, compare it to the load time when your old theme was installed. If you see any major differences, you can follow our guide to improve WordPress speed.
6. Monitor Bounce Rate
After switching themes, you should monitor the bounce rate of your site.
If your new theme is not user-friendly and difficult to navigate, it may increase the bounce rate of your site.
You can add related posts, popular posts widget, and breadcrumbs to reduce the bounce rate and increase page views.
7. Ask for Feedback
You can also ask your users for feedback and suggestions on how to improve your site design. You can use survey forms or online poll to gather user input.
You can share the new design with your subscribers using an email marketing service and ask them for their suggestions. This will help you to get ideas on what they would like to see improved.

Starting this blog was a turning point in my life
I was a great digital marketer and I always loved writing. So I married those two passions and took the plunge.
Today, my blog is not only one of my greatest sources of happiness but it also generates a good portion of my income! In our first year, we got 53,781 pageviews. Today, the blog is making over $15,000/month.
Maybe you’re thinking of doing the same thing. The good news: it takes less than 20 minutes to set up a blog.

Search optimization: If you want people to discover you serendipitously via internet searches, there are some blogs that offer much better “search engine optimization.”

Tumblr is not intended for the people who like to write, as it has the really tiny text field. In fact, Tumblr is more focused on a short content and thus, attracts those who are visually-oriented. It stays in the middle between the classical blogging platform and the social media feed.
It’s very straightforward to post links, mp3s, videos, Spotify tracks, photos, and any content you could possibly imagine. You can instantly see the similar posts from the other Tumblr users and share them on your blog.
Apart from the posts, one can also create pages which don’t move through the feed and thus are always accessible to the visitors. The number of pages is unlimited on Tumblr.
One of the outstanding Tumblr features is the mass editor. It’s very simple to work with the dozens of posts on one screen and make some batch actions with them. For example, you can tag, untag, or change a tag on a selected number of posts which are displayed as the thumbnails.
Tumblr is not optimized for search at all. If you want your blog to be discovered, stay away from Tumblr.
Pros
No fees for adding a custom domain
Convenient mass editor
Unlimited number of pages is possible
Your posts are advertised on the similar blogs
Cons
Limited design controls
Bad management of the comments
Types of blogs Only for bloggers who want to curate images (similar to Instagram) — not for serious blogs.

4. Medium
A lot of famous folks and influencers have chosen Medium for their blogging platform.
Created by the Twitter founders, this platform uses microblogging approach. There is one standardized template you use to publish all your posts.
It is possible to choose a grid or stream based layout for your publication, as well as add your logo, background color, or image to the header.
However, the customization options are very limited, so you’d better focus on what you write.
Medium has the robust WYSIWYG editor which recognizes key commands and formatting characters, correctly displays styles and more.
This makes it easy to use. But Medium is much better for pure written blogging than anything visual.
Once a post is published, Medium makes it simple for the other Medium readers to discover the content. The recommendations are based on the users’ interests. The readers can also easily subscribe to authors they enjoy. But Medium posts aren’t naturally very discoverable by Google, so SEO is just okay.
There are built-in analytics tools and inline commenting. You may also share your post draft with the interested users before it goes online.
Unfortunately, there is no option of using the own domain for your blog, so you can’t get the full control of your content. So you’re stuck on medium.com.
Pros
It’s easy to reach the existing Medium audience
Built-in analytics
Cons
Direct competition with other writers
Impossible to use your own domain
Just okay for search engine optimization
Types of blogs Not for business blogs or blogs that want to make money because of the lack of search optimization. Best for personal blogs.

5. Ghost
Ghost is another blogging platform very focused on written content. It’s extremely minimalistic and thus clutter-free.
However, it’s much easier to use Ghost if you or someone on your team has an engineering background. The editor involves code, plus most people customize the look and feel of their Ghost blog in code. There are few plugin or theme choices out of the box.
Ghost installation is much more complicated than WordPress. You need to have the strong technical background to make it work on your domain.
Ghost(Pro) is a simpler option as you instantly get the fully working site with it. However, there is no free plan of hosted version like on WordPress.
The other thing that you should keep in mind about Ghost is the lack of the visual editor. Instead, the posts are written in Markdown which is a text-to-HTML writing syntax that translates your text into the formatted output.
Thus, you should have some idea of how to use HTML and CSS if you move forward with Ghost.
Ghost is an open source content management system made for midsize companies and up — who have engineers that can help with the look and feel of the blog.
Pros
It is seen as the fastest blogging platform
Easy writing
Clean and simple
Cons
Free version is difficult to setup
The number of themes is limited
No plugins
You must have a technical background to use ghost
Types of blogs Most businesses and personal bloggers can use Ghost. However, given that some coding is required to use Ghost, you need to be a proficient engineer.
Price Free to install on your own domain. Paid plans start at $19 per month and include 1 blog and 50,000 unique views/month.

6. Weebly
Weebly is not a blogging platform out of the box, but it can be transformed in one.
In actuality, Weebly is a website builder — meant for creating just about any type of website.
All setup job is done by dragging and dropping the required elements like pictures, paragraphs, videos, buttons, maps, contact forms, and more.
What you see in the site builder is what you get on your pages (WYSIWYG).
Updating the site is easy as well. Weebly includes a lot of extensions that can be added if necessary — related to ecommerce, design changes and analytics. Of course, blog functionality is among the plugins.
If you ever need advanced site features like forums, membership options, integrated advertising, or file uploads it’s pretty easy to add them as well.
The best thing about Weebly is that it supports apps made by 3rd party developers. The app center is constantly growing making it easy to find the extensions for any task.
The free version of Weebly includes weebly.com subdomain and 500 Mb of storage which is not much if you want to share images with your visitors.
Weebly offers a number of beautiful themes for all kinds of blog categories: business, academic, education, e-commerce, writer, musician, and so on.
They not only look great but also very responsive and perfectly adapt to mobile devices. And it is possible to customize them making your site to look different.

Drag-and-drop support
Affordable e-commerce functionality
A lot of extensions and third-party apps
Cons
The pages are difficult to manage if you have more than 10
There isn’t great SEO optimization
Types of blogs Better for ecommerce sites than for blogs.

9. Penzu
Most people who start blogging want to attract as many readers as possible. Best go with a blog platform that specializes in search optimization like WordPress if this is your goal.
But there are a couple blogging platforms that behave more like diaries — for people who don’t want their thoughts to be discovered by others.
Think about pregnancy or food diary, the reflective journal where all daily emotions and activities are covered, private dream journal that makes you feel happy, and so on. This is when Penzu is useful.
The service offers handy blog editor with a focus on writing. There are not too many possibilities for design customization, but basic things like colors and fonts can be changed so that your journal can look the way you please.

10. Pen.io
Like Penzu, pen.io is geared toward bloggers who don’t want necessarily want others finding their content. The search optimization is not good, but that is by design.
Registering and setting up for Pen.io is incredibly easy.
It is an extremely minimalistic approach to publish your thoughts and to share them in seconds. This platform is also handy for the or online resumes, anonymous letters, lecture notes and so on.
How does it work? Think about services for temporary files sharing. It’s almost the same, but for the blog posts. You need to enter your page title and password which could be used later for editing the entry. Write your post and add images from your computer (drag and drop is supported), then save.
You’ll get the unique link to the post that can be shared with other people. You may also create multi-page posts using tags. No user account, to blog customization, just the pages with the content. The page can be edited by clicking the link at the bottom.

promote your links
How to promote your links
When researching the best affiliate programs, look into the merchants available, commission rates, as well as rules for applying. Certain affiliate programs require applicants to meet particular restrictions to qualify as an affiliate marketer. If you're just starting out, I recommend you join bk8tips.com. Once you have been approved, log into your affiliate program and find your affiliate links. Using this dashboard, you can select which of the advertiser's text links or banners you'd like to promote on your website. After you have selected the text link, you will automatically receive your affiliate links. You can promote the link with embedded HTML or the link by itself. Once you have found the advertiser you want to promote, copy the HTML code or the direct link. Then, paste this code and/or link into your blog content or website. There are many different methods you can use to promote your links or programs, but there are a few specific things you should keep in mind to ensure that your promotions are successful. Don't just use your links in blog posts. Also add them to videos, in comments, website banners, and more.
A WordPress plugin such as ThirstyAffiliates can be used to hide your affiliate links so they look better on your website. For example, something like www.example.com/go/wpengine looks better than a random string of numbers and letters. Another great tool for link tracking is ClickMeter. ClickMeter is another great tool for link tracking. They allow you to monitor, track and optimize all your affiliate links from one place. A popular affiliate program offers a 90% commission rate for those who promote their link tracking software. After Google AdSense and its alternatives, a report found publishers said affiliate links generated more revenue for their website than other forms of marketing. This is because affiliates can be promoted through many tactics, platforms, campaigns and forms of content. This will make your customers feel like you are only interested in the sale and turn them off. Your customers should feel valued and not just used for your own selfish gain. Promote your links and affiliate programs on multiple platforms. Make sure you have different formats.
Try to cover everything that a potential customer would like to know about the product. Use examples and screenshots and don't shy away from pointing out potential weaknesses of the product. Share your first-hand experience and tips. Transparency goes a long way. Finally, make sure to include at least one CTA on your page with the affiliate link. And if you can offer perks such as discounts, you may leverage that angle and ask your visitors to sign up for your newsletter, for example, to get a special deal. Just don't try to rank for discount-related keywords in the hopes of making easy money. That's not allowed by most affiliate programs and will only lead to the termination of your affiliate account. A resources page can be a list of your top tools and products that you endorse and use yourself. Just don't go overboard with your list by adding items that you're not actually using regularly. Add a brief description of each product, and your affiliate link. This should lead visitors to a free trial. Make sure you include a disclosure as well, just like with any promotional page. This rule is the same for your affiliate program itself.

37 Reliable Ways To Make Money With Your Blog or Website as a Newbie
New Post has been published on https://pingbacklinks.com/37-reliable-ways-to-make-money-with-your-blog-or-website-as-a-newbie/
37 Reliable Ways To Make Money With Your Blog or Website as a Newbie
So, you have built a fully functional website or blog and you are trying to figure out how to monetize it. Well, there are tons of ways you can make it work for you. In this book, we have compiled a list of 37 methods of turning your website into a money maker without even making significant investments in it. Let’s get started.
“Pay Per Click†advertisements (Google Adsense)
Google operates two advertising programs: AdWords and Adsense. The former entails showing adverts on the results returned by Google search. As a website owner who needs to make money from your site, you don’t need the former, but the latter – Adsense, which lets you display adverts on your site instead, and you’ll be paid for it!
The best part about Google Adsense is that it is incredibly easy to set up and the returns are quite motivating.
How does it work? After you sign up with the program, Google will attach a tiny block of code on your website to identify the kind of content you post there and the type of visitors you receive. This code is also used to uniquely target your visitors with relevant advertisements while considering the niche of your website. If your website is all about fashion and apparel, for example, Google will begin showing your audience adverts for fashion-related stuff: clothes, accessories, shoes, etc.
You earn money whenever a visitor clicks on the advert. (It’s that simple!)
The average pay per click is somewhere in the middle of $0.50 and $5. And when your site has robust traffic, you can comfortably earn hundreds (sometimes thousands) of dollars every month.
How do you apply for AdSense, you might ask? Before even applying, consider taking a glance at their Terms and Conditions (they update them quite often, and they are strict on those rules). Now open another tab on your browser and sign up with the program.
Benefits of joining AdSense
If you own more than one site, AdSense lets you manage all your ads from one place
You don’t need to sell any specific product to earn money; you simply display other people’s promotions on your site
You audience will only be showed ads that are relevant to them – no annoying and irrelevant stuff
AdSense doesn’t even require you to understand the technical part of the program, they will do the complicated part for you
Both you and your audience would love good web design. Well, Google AdSense gives you greater degree of customization concerning the adverts they supply
Did we mention it is free to join? Yes, it is. And joining it is incredibly easy
No initial investments are required, whether in term of money or time
Drawbacks
Limited language support
Minor mistakes can result to lifetime ban (as we earlier mentioned, Google AdSense are very strict with their rules)
Traffic exchanges and traffic from social networks are restricted
Invasive tracking brings privacy questions
You can’t change country or the name of the payee
Sell your own stuff (can be eBooks or any other digital product)
You have a huge potential to make money by creating a “per sale†service that let’s your audience access your material at a fee. There is no middle man you can worry that they may slash some of your earnings.
Are you too good at something that you would like to pass the skills to someone else? Why not start an online course on your website? Alternatively, you can write eBooks about or create podcasts within your area of expertise and ask your audience to buy them based on whichever friendly plan you can formulate.
Besides selling digital products (eBooks, tutorials, and stuff), you can also sell physical products
This approach may look simple and straightforward because all you need is enough knowledge in something or possession of a product you can make yourself, so you can simply avail these items on your site and start making money immediately. Unfortunately, it is not as easy as it looks. Creating a quality product requires massive investment in terms of time and financial resources. Other resources like content and design may be required. Besides, you will need to set up a third-party payment gateway to complete such operations as shipping, payment, and even taxes – you are almost assured of having problems in the initial phases.
When you get everything right, you will be an independent content creator or seller of an item with greater say on your cash inflows.
Here are some valuable resources I thought would be great for starters:
Guide to selling products from your site
How to create “Buy Now†button on your site with PayPal
Benefits of selling products on your site
As aforementioned, you have total control on things like price and output
You get to keep the lion’s share of your earnings. No middle men, just the tax man.
It is a great way of getting the most out of your talent or skills. (Selling handcrafted products, for instance)
Accept donations from your visitors
If you are a beginner blogger or you’re just starting out with your website and you don’t have many monthly visits, but your site has a sizable and engaged community, you can simply ask your followers to donate. It isn’t the best paying way of monetizing your site but can help you meet the expenses as you work towards making your site more established. We know of some programs that have been sustained in their entirety by donations. A good example is the Videonlan project (the guys behind the ever-versatile VLC Media Player) although their case is a bit unique. Another good example are the operators of the web.acrchive.org who make a lot of money purely from donations.
Asking people to support your journey shouldn’t be hard, and that’s why Paypal offers a tiny donation button you can add on your site to keep you going – here is how to create one. There is a detailed guide about how to accept donations on wikiHow, check it out.
Benefits of accepting donations
It is easy to integrate
You can easily establish recurring payments (with Paypal)
Payments are almost always secure
It is a showoff gratitude from your audience
Drawbacks
There is always that discomfort you feel when asking people to donate, it feels like begging
It is both unreliable and unsustainable
Review products and other people’s websites
This technique of monetizing your site is applicable if you are a leader in a specific niche. If your website or blog is popular among parents, for instance, you can review children toys. If you are into video games and you’ve built a sizable following on social media, why not review the latest releases from the comfort of your website and let your social media followers flock there?
But even if you haven’t established your site to be an authority in any niche yet, you can start off as a reviewer – all popular reviewers began from somewhere.
How does product review pay? Manufacturers would normally pay you to review or test their products on your platform with hopes that someone in your audience will be impressed with the product and proceed to buy. You may as well review products without being asked by the manufacturer, but you will be aiming to boost traffic this time, which can help you build the reputation of your website or even increase your referrals if you are signed to an affiliate program.
The most assuring thing about reviewing products is that manufactures will eventually come to you once your website has gained root in a specific niche.
Benefits of reviewing products
You have the freedom to set your own prices
You can use review materials for marketing
One of the surest ways of becoming an authority site in a given niche
Doesn’t require huge investments as you don’t need to own the products you are reviewing
Drawbacks
Very difficult to make money if you are not an already established figure in the niche
Create an e-Commerce site (you need to work hard)
You can move away from the traditional approach of making content to be the center of your website’s survival and instead base it on products or tools. A website that offers a certain product or tools is an online store or e-commerce site.
But this could be the hardest way of monetizing your website because there are tons of e-commerce sites on the web already and you must compete with a lot of them. The only way to stand out of the pack having a better strategy than anyone else and employing the most effective marketing techniques you can ever come across. Also, it is just as important to find a unique niche, preferably one that hasn’t been overcrowded yet.
How much money do you stand to make from an online store? Let’s say your store is one of the most successful in your niche, you can earn over $100,000 per month. The initial investments leading to such income can be significantly high. A yet-to-very-established online store can bring about $500 in a month.
How do you get started? We need a whole separate post to outline how to go about it. Here are two brief guides:
How to start a WooCommerce online shop (for WordPress)
How to start a Shopify e-Commerce shop (for Shopify)
Benefits of running an online shop
Access to global market 24/7
You can manage your shop from anywhere
Measured results through various online marketing strategies
You can sell almost anything
Setbacks
Initial investments can be very high
It is highly demanding. Unless you have a dedicated team to handle your clients and other aspects of the business, you will have a hard time running it alone
Flip your site (Build > Sell > Reinvest)
Well, you have probably never heard of this before, but you can sell your website to someone else, make some good money, and reinvest it in another new website. You just add everything that makes a good website: AdSense, search engine optimization, and even having sold some products on the site. There is always a buyer out there trying to avoid the hard labor of creating a functional website from scratch.
Honestly, I don’t suggest that people should make sites and sell them and even make a business around that activity. I am a big fan of building something that you can use in a long time, or forever.
But you can’t ignore how lucrative this business can be. Imagine a scenario where your site earns about $400 per month by selling ad space. If everything else is working perfectly, the price tag on such a website will be somewhere between $4000 and $10,000.
Better yet, you can opt to deal in ready-made sites. They are cheap, but you can make pretty decent money from it
Where can you sell your site?
Flippa – the most well-known website market
WeBuyWebsites – a marketplace strictly dedicated to buying websites
FEinternational – if you have a high-end website, sell it here
Benefits of selling websites
Low set up and running costs
You enjoy higher margins and better cash flow
You can do it from anywhere
Scale-ability
There is always a market
Drawbacks
Establishing a fully functional website complete with SEO and other necessities is harder, especially when you must do it en masse
Create an affiliate program
Once you have established your online shop or put some content on offer (whatever you choose to sell on your website) you can establish an affiliate program and enlist affiliates to help you market your products out there for a commission.
The idea of having your own affiliates spreading the word about you on their platforms is one of the best ways of building the fame of your site and boosting the sales of you are running an e-commerce site. It is a win-win situation: you get a lot of traffic from the referred visitors and boost your sales while the affiliates get their commission plus recognition for identifying with your brand (if it’s a brand of authority in your industry).
If you are using WordPress, there are plenty of plugins that you can utilize to achieve any affiliate marketing goal.
Benefits of having your own affiliate program
It cuts the marketing expenses because the affiliates will do most of the marketing
You are almost certain that every lead will end up making a sale
It is straightforward and dependable
Easy to manage and control
Drawbacks
You will always be pushed to offer higher commissions even when your earnings are low
Build an amazon store page
Ponder over this: Amazon, the largest e-Commerce company on the planet, sells almost everything your audience could ever want. Doesn’t it make sense to add an Amazon page on your website instead of creating your own online store that you might have a hard time building?
If you think about it, you will quickly realize how cost effective and rewarding it is to have Amazon on your page. Also (to my surprise), many bloggers and website owners don’t seem to be too much into this venture.
It is important to note that this approach works very much like Amazon’s own affiliate program – you get a commission when the member of your audience proceeds to Amazon to complete a purchase. The commission can be anything between 1 percent and 10 percent. It is still a great way of monetizing your site.
Now those were the top ways of monetizing your website. Let’s look at other not-very-well-known ways of making money. They aren’t minor ways. Rather, they are ways that deserve special mention:
Selling text-link ads
You can sell text-link ads to websites that need them most. We don’t really recommend this, but it is worth trying out. The reason why we don’t root for this way of making money is that Google Terms of Service are strongly against it. So, if you get involved in this kind of business, you risk being penalized, and it could be for life!
Set up “infolinksâ€
If you are not a huge fan of Google AdSense, you can opt for infolinks. Infolinks is a handy online advertising platform enabling website owners and bloggers to display relevant ads on their sites and earn money. As you can see, it works very much like Google AdSense. Sounds interesting, Huh! Here is how to set up infolinks on your site. There is only one major drawback about infolinks: their payouts are remarkably small compared to Google AdSense, but it’s worth trying out.
Use monetization widgets
A web widget can be in the form of an application or a web page. In this specific case, you will use web page-based widgets. Web widgets are normally independent from the host web page and have very limited interaction with the rest of the web page.
How do you make money from widgets? Well, they work in a way similar to Google AdSense – they display relevant ads on your site in exchange of money. There is a guide to it, check it out.
Establish RSS feed ads
RSS feed ads work exactly the way they sound: you allow RSS feeds on your site along with ads. The best part about RSS feeds ads is that you can choose to use partial or full RSS feeds, whichever suits your needs. Another advantage is that they boost your page views while earning income. Which option you choose, RSS Feeds ads are split into two groups: pay-per-click (very much like Google AdSense) and traffic-based ads. There is a guide on how to get started at Blogging Basics.
Create a business page/paid directory.
Business directories keep popping up on the web like mushrooms and that could mean one thing: they are minting money for their owner. A business directly is any site with a list of businesses in a given niche depicting their location, size, and activity.
At the start, you comb sources to get information about these businesses and present them in a presentable way on your site. But as time goes on, and you build reputation, new business will seek your assistance in listing their information on your directory. Here is an example of some of the biggest business directories on the web (in no particular order):
BOTW (Best of the Web) – BOTW has been here since 1994 and now has over 16 million businesses in its database
About Us – About Us enjoys about 150,000 visits every month
Google My Business – A business directory run by the owner of the most popular search engine on the planet is destined to be a monstrous directory.
Do you wish to venture into this line of business? Here is a step by step guide on how to get started.
Offer writing gigs
What about writing for other bloggers at a fee? Yes, many bloggers and site owners don’t have a lot of time to spend on writing every article uploaded on their sites/blogs. So, if you are good in gaming, for example, and you run a website dedicated to posting gaming updates, you can start a content creation service which can benefit other time strapped bloggers.
There isn’t a guide or set of tricks to help you make it in this method of monetizing your website.
Sell podcasts
It is easier to sell podcasts today than it has ever been, thanks to services like Apple’s iTunes. But there is a better approach to it: Why not take full advantage of your website’s influence in a certain niche and start selling podcasts to your readers/listeners. If you have paid close attention to the activities of most political commentators in the United States, you might have noticed that most of them no longer include iTunes’ links on their YouTube or social media pages. Rather, they direct you to their podcasts on their own websites. This approach can be employed by pretty anyone with podcasts to offer.
The benefits of selling podcasts on your website are numerous, including the fact that no one will deduct part of your pay for hosting them on their service for you.
Create videos for YouTube
Let’s be honest, no one on the internet monetizes videos better than YouTube. The social network lets you earn money on views received by your videos. The minimum payout is $100. Before a channel qualifies for YouTube Partner Program, it must receive 10,000 views or more.
Things get a little complicated when you throw ads in the mix. If a video accumulates 1 million views, for instance, but no one clicks on any of the pay-per-click adverts displayed on that video, you earn nothing. Google has a rather intricate way of awarding content creators for videos they upload on the platform.
But you’re trying to make money from your website, right? How does YouTube get involved? If you have been producing a lot of video content on your site lately, you might have noticed that it is hard to increase your audience from your website. You need to move those videos to YouTube – which is the world’s largest video repository – and include a link to your website. You would have killed two birds with one stone: you would have created a way of boosting traffic to your website while getting paid for your videos at the same time. We already know of a dozen ways web traffic can be monetized.
Be a consultant
Picture a situation where you are so good at Information Technology that your site is entirely based on providing information about the latest releases and emerging trends in the world of technology. How do you monetize such a website further? You can start offering consultancy services to your readers and visitors right on your website or blog.
The goal is to make the most out of your expertise in your field. If you are looking for inspiration, look at what Neil Patel is doing and how he has established his site not only to be a one-stop source of every bit of information you need about SEO (search engine optimization) but to be a reputable SEO consultancy platform as well. And there is a list of proven tricks to make it big in the world of web-based consultancy services, check the out.
Add a forum (membership-based forum)
If you are using a WordPress site, you can benefit from a range of plugins that can make the whole process as easy as ABC, bbPress is one of those Plugins. It doesn’t mean creating a forum on regular websites is hard, Website Toolbox leads you through three simple steps to make one.
Use content lockers
Instead of creating great content and requiring your readers to subscribe to access it, you can choose to introduce content lockers where the reader will only pay for certain content by unlocking it with payments. The best part is that you can switch it around to take various forms. For instance, instead of paying to see the content, you can require the reader to view a certain advert.
There is a YouTube tutorial on how to set up content lockers. The approach may be a little different on a WordPress site, here is the guide.
Affiliate marketing
If you are new to this concept of spinning some cash, just know it entails promoting someone else’s stuff on your website and if, hopefully, someone sees your promotion and responds to it by buying the item, the guy you’re promoting for will award you an agreed commission.
So, this is how it works: You begin by signing up with a third-party affiliate program (the likes of CJ Affiliate and Amazon Affiliate Program) or the affiliate program established by the entity (also known as the merchant) whose products you wish to promote. Either way, you will be given a referral link and/or banners which you will display somewhere on your website while promoting the merchant’s products. The whole concept is built on whether someone in your audience will be pleased with your promotion or the product you are promoting and decide to give it a try.
When someone in your audience clicks on the banner or referral link, they are led to e a page where they can see the merchant’s product and make a purchase. It doesn’t always entail buying a product; it can be a download or completing registering for something. Whichever intent, you, as an affiliate marketer, will earn a commission if the person you referred completes the process as required.
Where can you find merchandise to promote? There are as many options as there is sand in the sea, but here are the three most popular affiliate programs:
Rakuten Linkshare
Rakuten Linkshare has been around for a long time. Its popularity is increasing every passing day. If you are an avid fan of football, you’ve probably discovered that Rakuten is the jersey sponsor of Barcelona F.C, an indication of popularity. Rakuten has managed to ward off competition for many years it has been around by providing features that are distinctive and user-friendly. Such features include rotating different banner adverts for particular products, ease of administering and optimizing among others. But what makes Rakuten be one of the best affiliate marketing programs is its flexibility in promoting offers.
Clickbank
Clickbank is yet another remarkable affiliate marketing program. Its popularity has been fueled by its specialization in digital products. The program has been around for a long time as well, earning a great reputation in marketing eBooks and other digital products. One of the impressive things worth mentioning about Clickbank is the fact that you can gain unrestricted access to millions of eBooks immediately after finishing the sign-up process. No one else does that in the sphere of affiliate marketing. Marketers make a killing on Clickbank with its sumptuous commissions. The payment process is fast, marketers have the freedom to sell what they like and the site itself is stunningly easy to navigate and use.
Amazon associates
It has been dubbed the king of affiliate marketing due to its huge number of sellers (over 1.5 million sellers). This immense number of sellers makes this program the best place for beginners to start. It isn’t entirely a newbie paradise. Experienced marketers are impressed with the atmosphere created by the program to develop custom tools and web pages that have APIs. Amazon Affiliates have a stunning one million partner merchants! No other program has ever come close to having such many partners. The program is also very flexible and easy to use.
Therefore, if you don’t start well, you may end up messing up various things. There are resources you need to have while embarking on building affiliate marketing websites.
1. Training and inspirations
There is nothing wrong with creating an affiliate marketing website from scratch. However, you need sufficient training to create a really successful affiliate marketing website. Having the inspiration to push the idea is also an added advantage. Starting an affiliate marketing website is overwhelming.
2. Video Tutorials on Affiliate Marketing
Basic education about affiliate marketing isn’t enough for building a successful affiliate marketing website. Video tutorials about affiliate marketing can be of great help especially when you have basic affiliate marketing knowledge but you need to improve it and kick-start affiliate marketing career. Affiliorama is the best place you can get affiliate marketing tutorials.
3. Email platform
Your website needs to be linked to a Google email platform. Although not every strategy in online marketing involves the use of email, having a reliable email strategy can have a remarkable impact on the sales. Some of the reputable email platforms to choose from include MailChimp, GetResponse, aWeber e.t.c
4. Backlinks
Backlinks are a valuable resource that should never miss on your affiliate marketing website. They serve to link your web page to other websites hence boosting the traffic and your website’s outreach. Backlinks help popularize your website within the circles of a niche of your choice. For instance, if you are selling fish, you need backlinks linking to websites that sell or talk about fried chips, chili and anything else that can go together with fried fish.
Google Webmaster Tools
Search engines are a great source of traffic for blogs and websites. It is good to know how search engines view your affiliate marketing website. One tool to use is Google Webmaster. Actually, Google Webmaster is a group of tools that help users see how their websites are crawled, how the pages are indexed and the performance of keywords. Google Webmaster can also identify if there is a malfunction in your website.
Benefits of joining an affiliate program
If you are good at marketing, or if your site is sort of an authority in a given niche – say, in golfing, fashion, or motor sports – and you have a significant following, you stand to make an insane amount of money
It is based on performance, not the investments you commit
Affiliates can increase your reputation
Affiliates can also increase the traffic on your website while increasing sales
Drawbacks
You will find that some program offers meagre commissions that makes the whole thing to be unmotivating
You don’t have any control on what the affiliate program chooses to do
You have no say on your competitors
Revenues are not guaranteed
Affiliate links can be hijacked
Link your site on craigslist and sell skills and possessions
If you can’t design a website for an individual then probably you have an old toaster you need to sell on the craigslist. Many graduates are offering their skills online as consultants of almost anything you can mention depending on their expertise. Additionally, you can sell items you no longer use on the Craigslist and earn some quick bucks. Craigslist has over 40 million users. Better yet, every large city has a special section reserved for it. The website is highly convenient to anyone with a drive to make money.
Link your site to ebay and auction products
eBay is the best site you can use to auction stuff that you no longer use. Clothes, cars, electronics…you name it, eBay can auction it. You can choose between the options of straight auction or flat rate. To compensate for the service, eBay takes a tiny amount of what you earn and that’s just Okay. You need to know that eBay thrives on an elaborate feedback system which requires you to build a great reputation as a trustworthy seller.
Selling homemade items
You can sell handmade items on your site. You can also collaborate with sites like Etsy to promote your homemade merchandise. Etsy is a platform where crafts and other homemade creations are availed for sale. It can be anything you made at home: beautiful candles, soap with your signature fragrance, hand knitted scarves, homemade jewelry, essential oils, postcards, art prints, crocheted small animals etc. To send sales in the roof, you need to charge your clients reasonable top keep them coming back for more knitted kitten clothes. Just like eBay, Etsy will ask for a small percentage of your earnings.
Publishing eBooks
Have you ever thought or offering your book for sale on your website or in conjunction with KDL (Kindle Direct Publishing) This is the best opportunity for men to capitalize on their previous writing works that have never been finished. If you have an unpublished book and you believe you are not in a so nice financial situation, quickly dash to Amazon, publish it, set the best price you can think of and put it up for sale. You need to promote your eBooks widely on social media to expose them to most people. Consider publishing a book within your area of expertise and not just a fictional story.
Taking online surveys
You can make your site to be part of crowds pooled by consumer companies to conduct online surveys and get consumer feedback. For just 6 hours, you can earn up to $50 which is channeled in your Paypal account. Some of the websites offering survey services include My Survey, iPoll, and Pinecone.

The support is top notch and I would definitely recommend this template and this author. – fonic8
I am a professional designer. I used to use themes for clients, but none ever had what I wanted, so I started to create my own from scratch. However, I have a personal blog site that I run, and I wanted a magazine theme that would fit my needs.
Let me make this clear. I HAVE DOWNLOADED OVER 100 THEMES from theme forest. Each come with it’s own complications.
This theme is BY FAR, the easiest to implement, and the best looking. It’s SIMPLE to make changes to it (php, css knowledge of course), and it’s a great, great, great SOLID theme.
I can’t tell you how many times I have run across themes with such complicated php that you can’t do ANYTHING with it. THIS THEME IS NOT THAT CASE.
Out of the box, it just WORKS. If you are looking for a theme that works out of the box, OR one that you can customize, THIS THEME IS IT.
I cannot stress enough how happy I am with this purchase. NICE JOB. – tuskmaster
I highly recommend purchasing this theme or any from MVP. Great themes and awesome support. Keep up the great work ! – onthegom
