Recently, I've been confronted with the fact that I 'look' lie a guy that drives a moped. I went to the store today, casually minidng my own business, and some lady I don't know is like, 'that's your moped out there? It's cool!'

I did not see her when I was putting my lock on. I was walking around Walgreens trying to find my preworkout for almost half an hour.

This happens at least once a week.

I look like a moped guy, and I don't understand why.

Have you ever tried to learn Latin? If so, how did it go?

I've completed the Latin Duolingo and bought a book about Latin for beginners and let me tell you there's always so much more to understand. I can barely understand most spoken Latin audio files.

Maybe if I buy Lingua Latina Per Se Illustrata I'll do better...? Scorpio Martianus and Legentibus has a lot of useful resources.

I call them "Long Pattern" here because these aren't only long vowels. They are also always used at the start of words.

Semivowels [w] and [j] are represented as /u/ and /i/ respectively. In ascending diphthongs (such as [wa] and [ja]), semivowels are the ones fully represented. In descending dipthongs (such as [aw] and [aj]), vowels are.
