Saw someone mention that Katara doesn't have colonial trauma and I'm once again reminded why I have low tolerance for this fandom's BS
#look we can talk all day and night about how the water tribes weren't (technically) colonized by the fire nation#but like... katara is the last water bender in the southern tribe because of water bender genocide#and katara's mom literally died to protect katara from it#how tf do you think that katara doesn't have colonial trauma#this fandom man
