Honestly, that about sums it up. But hi, I'm Kestrel. Also called Kess. Yeah I find vore content like that to be incredibly tedious. "I super digested even your soul so there's NO COMING BACK MWAHAHA!" it's like those juvenile ass school yard arms races where one kid uses a magic immune to everything shield against another kid who is using a super destroy everything gun. Like they're trying to "win" over the tendency for people to have reformation methods or whatever. I don't see what it accomplishes. It feels like overcompensating to me. People can like whatever they like, if you like fatal vore then more power to you, but I really can't stand it.

It is incredibly frustrating how pervasive fatal vore is. It is treated as the default from which deviation requires justification. I literally cannot go a single day of browsing the vore tag on any single website without having fatal vore shoved in my face. It's always bones in this and skulls in that and everyone saying "melting" and "mulching" and it's so disheartening and alienating. I don't wanna kink shame anyone ever. But it'd just be nice to feel like content was being made that actually appeals to me just once. It'd be nice to feel like I'm not being deliberately driven away, cuz it's really hard not to feel that way sometimes.

The "dying and then it's over" thing is one of the biggest reasons why I dislike fatal vore. If they're dead then they can't enjoy it anymore, or suffer under it as the case may be whatever you prefer. At that point the pred might as well be masturbating, it's become a solo scene where they're self serving with a prop. It's like if you were having a sex scene and then one party irreversibly tf-ed the other into a nonsentient dildo and started using it. I'm sure some people would indeed find that an invigorating scenario, but for my preferences reducing the amount of individuals engaged in a sexy scenario does not increase the sexyness it decreases it.

My ideal preferred outcome to a vore scene can basically be described as a "and they lived happily ever after" type of ending. The last snippet they're left on can be assumed to have continued in perpetuity. The pred eats the prey and has them in their belly, and so it shall remain from now on basically. Either being happy about that arrangement or otherwise, depending on which flavor you like more.

A fatal outcome is pretty much incompatible with my preference.

Also... really? I'm honestly surprised you didn't know, I was under the impression I kinda made it obvious to everyone that that was my blog, or that we were the same ones running it. Seeing your enthusiasm and excitement about returning to Fernweh means so much to me! I’m going to address some asks I’ve been getting so that you all might see the answers. :D

I will be sure to let you all know when I hear where TFS: Book One might fall on this list after HG staff approve it and slate it for a date.

Same! :D I’d like to reach PC players. Steam release is at the discretion of COG, so it’s not something I can politely request, though I do hope for it. Based on what I have seen in the past, I strongly feel that TFS: Book One will be out on Steam given its length (600,000 words in total) and the overall plot of the story, but we will have to keep our fingers crossed about it.

It should be available on the: COG website, iTunes App Store, Google Play Store, Amazon Appstore for Android, and possibly Steam.

Hey friends! In some strange turn of events, I’ve been spending more time on this website again so I think I should make a post reintroducing myself and saying what I use this blog for now (as of December 2020)

So if you just stumbled upon my blog or if you’ve been following me for a while but forgot, hi! I’m tumblr user christianborle (am i really the man himself? well, that’s the question oop) and I’ve been on here since 2012 (oh god). You may know me from reblogging posts about christian borle, obviously, theatre/broadway (shoutout if you’ve been here since smash aired on tv omfg), star wars, doctor who, cartoons, and whatever other kinds of entertainment I enjoy. You may have seen me be involved in fandoms and discussions over the years and I may have been mutuals with some of you!

Around 2017 things were getting toxic on this website and I just needed to step away. With this whole pandemic, I’ve been watching a lot more movies and tv shows and reading more books, and slowly I dipped my toe back into fan stuff because I wanted to find more content. A little bit of Anne with an E, then Steven Universe, then Avatar the Last Airbender, and now Julie and the Phantoms has taken over my life, as you may have seen lol. (also i have maybe been avoiding responsibilities and work recently so if u see me actively reblogging a ton of stuff tell me to get tf off of here lmao)

While I do miss fan communities, it is still a bit overwhelming for me and I still need to focus on other areas of my real life. so how I operate tumblr now is I:

don’t scroll through the dashboard anymore so I can limit my screen time here. I only stalk my friends’ blogs and reblog from them. so if you see me reblogging like 25 posts from you at once, please don’t feel creeped out!

basically if i recently watched a movie or tv show i just go ham and spam y’all with it for a few hours/days. i’m not sorry lmao. so if you see some random influx of, for example, matilda (1996) gifsets for no reason, you can safely assume i rewatched it and i needed a moment to get my feelings out about it. i expected to only blog for a day about julie and the phantoms and now i’ve accidentally turned into a jatp blog so that may happen too lol. as always, you can blacklist whatever you don’t like to see!

a little bit hesitant to join fandoms again because a lot has changed in fan culture since i left and i can’t have too many distractions. but that doesn’t mean i am opposed to making new friends! i love to talk about the things I am passionate about and am always trying to be kind and lend a helping hand :)

if you’ve been following me for a while, you probably know who christian borle is (my url). you can rest easy knowing i am still a fan of his and seeing as his name is attached to this blog, i always try to uphold respectful standards because of that. i would reblog more stuff about him, but the tags are kind of scary tbh and as i said, fandom spaces have changed. but if you want to talk about him and his work and how awesome he is, or if you have any questions about him, my inbox is always open! i miss getting asks haha

So yeah! That is the current situation. Don’t know how long I’ll stick around, maybe it’ll literally just be for a couple more days and that’s it, or maybe a little longer, and I don’t know what the future will be for this blog, I’m just here to vibe. Thank you for reading all of this :)

Instruments: i have a 20-year-old shitty electric piano my dad gave me when he needed room for a newer, better electric piano. only in my current place i dont really have enough room for it even though i need it to practice choir stuff independently and just like having it because sometimes i just like to fuck around with it yknow? not calling myself good cos im not im super out of practice cos ive never been diligent abt that sorta thing but i can accompany myself and thats enough. so i keep it under my bed, not the best place, and practice on the fucking floor. cant even use pedals that way and that sucks ass. one day i will move to a bigger apartment and set it up again. i also have a baby blue ukulele with a picture of jack nicholson as jack torrance doing his heres johnny face taped on it. i got it in 2019 from my brother and his girlfriend as a christmas gift and was doing my ba thesis at the time, which i think a lot of the people who follow me know was about the shining. also also i can play guitar and bass but am not excellent at either because i never practice either of those and have neither in my apartment. and i never practice the ukulele either so even though i know a few chords i fucking suck. maybe someday.
