mfs will quote u an absurd price for a service by saying “if thats okay” and then get mad when u tell them its not okay
#i say this as an artist who has done freelance work#nothing pisses me off more than freelancers who cant just say the price with their chest#like bitch why are you giving me the option to negotiate if you arent willing to budge#i literally told her it was a bit steep and if she could go $50 less and she said that wasnt fair#like ok fine in that case give me the numbers and reasons up front dont turn this into an argument#sucks even more that its a friend of mine like yes ofc i’ll pay u for ur services but dont take advantage of my kindness and rip me off#more like former friend now ig#how do u as an aspiring professional give an outrageous price AFTER the service and not before#even stupider is that its a side hobby and she didnt even buy her own gear so its not like shes out a ton of $#im fucking losing it i hate the people my university attracts
