i've seen a couple people in the notes of this very good post about fictional polyamory by @thebibliosphere say things along the lines of "oh, i've been doing it wrong :(" or "how do i know if i did this right??" or "i should probably give up and start over, i wrote this badly :(" and. no!!!!
(i AM seeing far MORE people say "oh, this clarified and helped me so much, i think i know how to fix issues i've been having with my own story" which. YES!!!!)
listen. if you're a monogamous person who's writing a polyamorous relationship, and you've been focusing mainly on The Triad and All Three Together All The Time as the endgame, that's literally fine. that's a perfectly acceptable and strong starting point for your plotting, imo. you do not need to give up on a story that you've started like this.
but the things discussed in the post Can and Should improve your execution!
you can keep the same plot beats and overall relationship arc 100%. polyamorous relationships are infinite in their formations, every one is unique. "basically a monogamous romance but with three people" Does exist, as a relationship type. you're not hashtag Misrepresenting (TM) poly people with it
BUT i do think it will help to read up on some poly people talking about how their relationships Differ from monogamous ones.
so i have outlined some basic important concepts about polyamory.
MORE IMPORTANTLY though, i've broken down some questions that you can answer throughout the writing process to strengthen your individual dyad relationships, your individual characterization, & your characters' individual feelings/experiences. this is a writing resource have fun
future kitkat butting in to say i spent over two hours writing this and it definitely needs a readmore. it is also NOT comprehensive. but everything should be pretty simple to follow! feel free to reblog if you find it helpful yourself or just want to reward me for how gotdan long this took KSLDKFJKDL.
i've grabbed quick links for a couple of the important concepts, some have SEO pitches in them but the info largely seems to be good. (if i missed anything Egregiously Gross on these sites i should be able to update the links with better ones later, since they're under the readmore.)
sidenote: this is NOT meant to be overwhelming, despite the length. if you can't read all of this, that's Okay. you do not need to give up on your writing.
here we go:
compersion!
compersion is a BIG thing in a lot of polyamorous relationships. it's joy derived from seeing two (or more) of your partners happy together, or joy derived from seeing your partner happy with someone else.
compersion is really important as a concept because it highlights that every individual relationship within a polycule is different -- and that that's a GOOD thing. it's sort of the inverse of jealousy.
by the "inverse of jealousy," i mean that instead of feeling left out and upset and possessive, you feel happy/joyous/content.
i can use personal experience as an example: it's a Relief for me when my partners receive joy/support/sex/romance/etc that i can't (or prefer not to) give them. and i love seeing my partners make each other laugh and be silly together.
it's 100% okay for a poly triad not to be together 100% of the time, it doesn't mean that the third member is being left out or not treated equally when two people do things alone together.
(i have individual dates with my partners all the time! PLUS larger 3-and-4-person date nights.)
if the third member DOES feel jealous or left out, then the polycule can have a conversation to figure out what needs/wants aren't being met, and solve that. this happens semi-regularly in my polycule, as it will happen in any relationship (including monogamous ones)! it's just part of being an adult, sometimes you have to talk about feelings.
metamours!
a metamour is someone who is dating your partner, but ISN'T dating you. this may not be relevant for people writing closed three-person romantic sexual triads, but it's a super helpful term to know.
the linked article also lists different types of metamour relationships with some fun phrasing i hadn't heard before. the tl;dr is: sometimes you'll be domestic cohabitation friends, sometimes you'll be buddies with your own friendship, sometimes you might not interact much outside of parties, every relationship is different.
there's no one-size-fits-all requirement for metamour relationships. sometimes polyamorous people will end up dating their metamour after a while (has happened to me), sometimes polyamorous people will break up with one partner for normal life reasons, but remain friendly metamours.
the goal of polyamory is NOT for EVERYONE to fall in love. it is 100% okay if this happens in your story, it happens in real life too! but it is also 100% okay for characters to be metamours without ever becoming "more than friends."
(sidenote: try to kill any internalized "more than" that you have when it comes to friendship. friends are just as important and special and vital as partners.)
of course there are a million ways for messiness to occur with metamours within a complex polycule, exactly like with close-knit platonic friend groups. however this post is not about that! there's enough "here's how polyamory can go wrong" stuff out there already, so i'm focusing on the positives here :)
open versus closed polyamorous relationships!
i'm struggling to find an online article that reflects my experience without directly contradicting at least SOME stuff. so i'll give a quick rundown
google has a bunch of conflicting definitions of open relationships and whether open relationships are different from polyamory. the general consensus seems to be that an open relationship prioritizes one partnership (often a marriage), but that each partner can have extraneous flings or long-term commitments (most often sexual in nature).
this is not typically how i use the term wrt polyamory. the poly concept is pretty simple. a closed polyamorous relationship is one with boundaries like a monogamous one. there are multiple partners in the polycule, but they are not interested in having anybody new join said polycule.
an open polyamorous relationship tends to be more flexible -- it just means that IF someone in the polycule develops mutual feelings for a new person, it's fine for them to become part of said polycule if they want to! the relationship/person is open to newcomers.
some groups will need to negotiate this all together, others will just go "haha, you kids have fun." just depends on the individuals!
with open AND closed polyamorous relationships, the most important thing is making sure that there's respectful communication and that everyone is on the same page. but there's no one-size-fits-all way to do that.
i wish i could give you guys a prescriptive "You Must Do It This Way" guide, but that's.... basically the opposite of what polyamory is about, HAHA.
feelings for multiple people!
i was gonna tack this on to the previous section but decided it warranted its own lil bit.
a defining feature (....i'm told?) of monogamous relationships is that a monogamous person only has feelings for One individual at a time. they only want a relationship with one individual at a time. or, if they DO have feelings for multiple people simultaneously, they're still only comfortable dating one person at a time & being exclusive with that one person.
this is perfectly fine!
the poly experience is generally different from this. but once again..... polyamorous people all have different individual perspectives on this.
for me, i have never been able to draw hard boxes around romantic vs sexual vs platonic relationships, & i love many people at once. my personal polycule lacks many strict definitions beyond "these are my chosen people, i want to forge a life with them indefinitely, whatever shape that life takes"
some poly people feel explicit romantic or sexual attraction to multiple people at once, some poly people feel almost no romantic or sexual attraction at all. i'd say that MOST poly people feel different things for different partners, which is not a bad thing!
some poly people are even monogamous-leaning -- they have just chosen one romantic partner who is themselves part of a larger polycule. (so this monogamous-leaning person has at least one metamour!)
or alternatively, they might have one romantic partner AND a qpr, or other ways of defining relationships. (this is a factor in my own polycule!)
i made this its own point because if you're writing a straightforward triad, this is unlikely to come up in the story itself -- but it's worth thinking about how your characters develop/handle feelings outside of their partnerships.
like, is this sort of a soulmateship, 'these are the only ones for me' type deal? in which they won't fall in love with anyone else, and can be fairly certain of that?
that's pretty close to typical monogamous standards but you Can make it work. just be thoughtful with it
alternatively, can you see any of these characters falling in love Again after the happily-ever-after? and how would the triad approach it, if so? what would they all need to talk about beforehand, and what feelings would everybody have about the situation?
it's worth considering these questions even if the hypothetical will never feature in your actual canon, because knowing the answers to these questions will help you understand all of the individuals & their relationship(s) MUCH better.
i've been typing this for nearly two hours and there's a lot more i COULD say because... there's just a lot to say. i'll close out with some quick questions that you can ask yourself when developing the dyad dynamics within your triad
first, take a page and create a separate section for each individual dyad. then answer these questions for every pair:
how does each pair act when alone?
how do they act differently alone compared to when they're with their third partner?
are there any elements of this dyad (romantic, sexual, financial, domestic, etc) that these two people DON'T have with the third partner?
if so, what are they?
are there any boundaries or hard limits within this dyad that aren't shared with the third partner?
if so, what are they?
partner 3 goes out of town alone for a few weeks. what are the remaining two doing in their absence?
(doesn't have to be anything special, it's just to get a sense of how the two interact on a day-by-day basis without the third there)
what is something that each partner in the dyad admires about the other -- that they DON'T necessarily see in the third partner?
what problem do These Two Specifically need to solve in the story before their relationship will work?
how is that problem DIFFERENT from the problems being solved within the other two dyads?
doing this for ALL THREE dyads is VITAL imo. that way, you develop complex and nuanced and different relationships that all have unique dynamics.
those questions should be enough to get you started, i hope
then After you've charted the differences in relationships, you can start to jot down similarities in the overarching triad. what does one person admire in Both of their partners? what are activities that all three like to do together? what are boundaries or discussions that all three share?
but the main goal is to figure out how to Differentiate each relationship!
a polycule is only as strong as the individual relationships within it. if two people are struggling with their own relationship, adding a third person won't fix that.
(UNLESS the third person is the catalyst for those two to, like, Actually Communicate And Work Their Shit Out. i just mean that the old adage of "maybe if we just add a third-" works about as well to fix a miserable non-communicative marriage as, uh, "maybe if we have a baby-")
AND FINALLY.
if you're not sure whether your poly romance reads organically to poly people, you can hire a sensitivity reader with poly experience. if you can't afford that, you can read up on polyamorous resources like a glossary of terms & articles actually written by poly people. (and stories written by poly people!)
you can also just.... ask poly people questions, if they're open to it. i like talking about polyamory and my own relationships so you're welcome to send asks if u want, i just can't guarantee i'll answer bc my energy levels fluctuate a lot and i don't always have time.
polyamorous people are in an uphill battle for positive representation right now & so the LAST thing i want to see is authors giving up on their stories bc they're worried about getting things Wrong. well-meaning and positive stories that treat this kind of love as normal, healthy, & aspirational are So So So Needed. even if you guys end up with some funky-feeling details.
seriously, if you're monogamous then you probably don't have a full idea of Just How Nasty a lot of people can get about polyamory. i wish it DIDN'T mean so much for you guys to want to write nice stories about us, but it does mean a lot. and it means a lot that you want to do it WELL.
in conclusion. this is not a prescriptive guide, it's just a way to raise questions. and also, you all are doing FINE.
#thebibliosphere i apologize for tagging u when we don't know each other at all i just want u to get credit for the initial discussion#given that it is so much more thoughtful and clear than anything i'd think to write.#i did NOT mean to spend multiple hours on this but once i started writing i was like#oh god i actually do have like a lot i can tell monogamous people about writing poly people & the poly perspective#anyway. i mention it in the post but people can send me (respectful. obviously) asks if they have questions#i cant promise to answer all of them bc i am bad at this. but if i'm well enough then i'll try#polyamory#non-monogamy#ethical non-monogamy#writing#my writing#writing advice#relationships

Divergent x Stray Kids
What faction would they be in ? | OT8 Headcannon

A/N : these are my own opinions! Feel free to leave your own in the comments
Bang Chan
Faction : Abnegation
I feel like this one is such a no-brainer. Chan is naturally selfless and considerate, always prioritizing others before himself and ready to make sacrifices for the greater good.
In the Abnegation faction, where selflessness is the top priority, Chan would fit right in, gladly giving up his own wants to help others and make the community better without any complaints.
I think he feels a strong calling to serve a greater purpose in life, striving to make a positive impact on people and the world around him.
Even in challenging situations, he never backs down from doing what's right.
Chan is a natural leader, inspiring others with his passion and charm in all aspects of life, including their relationships.
Helping his friends and loved ones become their best selves brings him the most joy.
Lee Minho
Faction : Dauntless
This one is a little bit of a tricky one in my opinion. Truthfully, i think he would be divergent. Although, assuming he wouldn't want to be outed as divergent, and would have to choose a faction, I think he would be in dauntless (Hear me out!)
Minho's personality aligns perfectly with the Dauntless faction's values and lifestyle due to his adventurous and exploratory spirit.
Driven by a sense of fairness and open-mindedness, he moves through life with an encouraging attitude, motivating others to follow their passions.
His relaxed demeanor and "live and let live" attitude make him likable and popular, traits highly valued in the Dauntless community.
Beneath his quiet shyness lies an intensely feeling heart, driving him to embrace challenges and leave everything else in the dust when caught up in something exciting and interesting.
HOWEVER, I think that he could also belong to the amity faction because I wouldn't necessarily call him a fighter ykwim?
Seo Changbin
Faction : Dauntless
Muscle man???! WHAT CAN I SAYYYYY
Binnie is very adventurous by nature
He is willing to seek out thrilling experiences.
He thrives on physical challenges and eagerly faces his fears head-on.
Binnie's social nature makes him well-suited for the communal atmosphere of Dauntless, where shared activities and camaraderie are highly valued.
He enjoys being the life of the party and knows how to bring people together for a good time.
With his keen fashion sense and eye for aesthetics, he adds his unique style to the Dauntless community, making gatherings feel like celebrations.
Despite his outgoing nature, Binnie is observant and sensitive to others' emotions, always offering support to his friends when needed.
However, he may prefer to avoid conflicts if they involve him directly, prioritizing peace and maintaining a positive atmosphere.
Binnie's athleticism and dedication to fitness further emphasize his suitability for Dauntless, as he spends significant time honing his physical prowess in the gym.
His commitment to self-improvement and fearless attitude make him a valuable addition to the faction.
Hwang Hyunjin
Faction : Amity
Art= Amity
Although he has a quiet demeanor, he possesses a rich inner world filled with creativity and imagination, traits highly valued in Amity.
He finds solace in daydreams and storytelling, demonstrating a deep sensitivity to art, nature, and the emotions of those around him.
Idealistic and empathetic, Hyunjin longs for meaningful connections and feels a calling to help others, aligning perfectly with the core values of Amity.
In a fast-paced and competitive world, he may sometimes feel out of place, yearning for a community that appreciates his unique qualities.
Hyunjin's sincere curiosity about human nature and his compassionate, nonjudgmental nature make him a perfect fit for Amity's emphasis on understanding and empathy.
He cherishes deep conversations and feels honored to listen and offer support to those in need.
Although Hyunjin may sometimes struggle with internalizing the world's troubles and negative emotions, his desire for peace and kindness aligns perfectly with Amity's values.
He understands the importance of setting boundaries to avoid feeling overwhelmed by the injustices of the world.
In Amity, where peace and kindness reign supreme, Hyunjin would thrive, finding fulfillment in creating harmonious relationships and fostering a sense of unity within the community.
His ability to connect deeply and initiate positive change makes him a valuable asset to the faction, embodying the spirit of Amity's ideals.
Han Jisung
Faction: Candor
Jisung follows the beat of his own drum
His direct and straightforward approach to problem-solving aligns perfectly with Candor's value of honesty and truth.
Jisung prefers to tackle issues head-on, seeking straightforward solutions rather than relying on convoluted methods.
He is authentic and genuine,
Does not conform to societal norms.
While Jisung may not be inclined to socialize beyond what is necessary, he values sincerity and authenticity in his relationships.
Although his reserved nature may make him seem steady and predictable at times, he also possesses a store of impulsive energy that can lead him in bold and unexpected directions.
Candor values willingness to challenge the status quo and embrace change.
In Candor, Jisung would find an environment where his need for freedom, space, and unpredictability is understood and respected.
He would thrive in a community that values honesty above all else and encourages individuals to speak their truth without fear of judgment or deceit.
Also he's a yapper, and Candor's love to talk.
Lee Felix
Faction : Amity
100% no questions ask. Like, do I really need to explain myself?
He's the sunshine boi
Felix excels at creating and maintaining a warm and friendly environment for himself and those around him, fostering harmony within the community.
For Felix, life is all about shared experiences and forming deep connections with others.
He thrives in social settings and enjoys opening his heart and home to friends, loved ones, and neighbors, reflecting Amity's value of hospitality and inclusivity.
In Amity, Felix would find a supportive and nurturing environment where his dedication to creating a peaceful and inclusive community is valued and celebrated.
His ability to foster connections and maintain a friendly atmosphere would make him a cherished member of the faction, embodying the spirit of Amity's ideals.
Kim Seungmin
Faction : Candor
He is too honest lmao
Chan, you're half 52 next year??
In Candor, Seungmin would find a community that values his honesty and straightforwardness, where his dedication to maintaining honesty and integrity would be celebrated and appreciated.
People in this faction are very unlikely to show emotion, and let's face it neither does Seungmin
While forming close bonds with those who share his values and opinions, Seungmin believes in the power of hospitality and good manners, but he also isn't afraid to say what's on his mind.
Yang Jeongin
Faction : Abnegation
He's just like his dad (Chan) fr
His innate selflessness and loyalty shine through in his dedication to supporting and helping those around him.
Whether it's lending a listening ear or offering a helping hand, Jeongin is always there for others, embodying the essence of service over self.
Moreover, his reliability and commitment to excellence align with Abnegation's emphasis on putting others' needs before his own.
Jeongin's ensures that tasks are completed to the highest standard.
He has a keen eye for detail and genuine eagerness to make a positive impact highlight his selfless and caring nature.
He takes pride in going above and beyond his responsibilities, finding fulfillment in serving others rather than seeking personal gain.

@ladykyrin asked for my honest opinions about Queen Woo and there isn't enough room in the replies for what I want to say, so everyone else who follows me is getting them too lol This is mostly spoiler-free.
My post about the bad lighting was a bit cheeky. To be honest, I had other issues with the show than just the incredibly dark scenes. None of them had to do with the sex/nudity and had more to do with the pacing and how all of the characters are presented/explained. This is a historical drama that is clearly trying to be realistic about how the court politics worked but it's also taking place in a very ancient time (Three Kingdoms -before Joseon and even before Goryeo) so if you don't already know about the time period, all of the different characters and how they are operating in this world can be confusing. Imo, the show does not do a good job of explaining who all of these people are or what their function at Court is. While I understand that as a foreigner, it's partially my job to educate myself about Korean history when consuming their media, I also think that since they marketed a show like this to an international audience, they should have better taken into account the fact that most people outside SK do not even know what the "Three Kingdoms" period is much less how it was functioning. They could have tried harder to explain all of the people and their relationships to one another rather than just putting their name/title on the screen the first time the character appears.
My second issue with the pacing is that while each episode is 1 hour long and this is meant to be an "exciting chase drama", not that much has actually happened by the end of episode 4. Somehow, even though there are so many characters and events being pushed forward, some of the episodes just really dragged for me?? I think part of this goes back to the character presentation/development. Some of the characters just feel like flat, cardboard cut-outs and not real people with justifiable and understandable motivations. It makes it hard to stay engaged at certain points. Sadly, this critique extends to Queen Woo herself. We're getting a bit of a Bella Swan act from Jeong Jeon-seo, which is deeply unfortunate since I know she is a good actress. I think they were trying to show Queen Woo as a strong woman who doesn't crumble the moment that her husband dies, but right now, the lack of emotion is killing my interest in the character. I don't feel sympathetic to her beyond realizing how fucked up and misogynistic this world was toward women. I also find that her character is getting pushed to the side in some scenes by all of the MANY male characters when this is supposed to be a woman-centered drama, and you can't really root for any of the other female characters either since almost all of them except Woo are being depicted as some kind of deranged villain. As I've said, I have zero issues with sex and nudity being depicted in a show but it does start to feel a little early Game of Thrones when some of the female characters are just being used as sex objects with zero awareness of or sensitivity toward the violent misogyny of the time period.
All that being said, I will probably watch the other 4 episodes, if only for Ji Chang Wook. He's doing the best he can with the role and I'm interested to see if the pacing picks up a little now that the "chase" has actually begun. It could be that some of what I didn't like in the first 4 episodes improves later on 🤷♀️ Again, these are just my opinions and it does seem as if some people genuinely liked what they saw. I wouldn't say "don't watch it" but also don't expect it to be the best sageuk ever made. (That honor belongs to Empress Ki.)

Ok, instead of just getting angry at these people (which will probably just reaffirm their usage of ChatGPT in these ways to themselves), I'll offer alternatives that don't rely on LLMs (Large Language Models) like ChatGPT. All a LLM does is write sentences, and they're not reliable to write factual information, even when you feed them the information yourself. See: the case of the dangerous edible mushroom identification book, the issues it has with processing large chunks of information for summary, the problems ChatGPT has as a search engine, and how incompetent ChatGPT is at solving math problems.
Alternative for cooking:
If you have food at home and can't come up with anything to cook, try MyFridgeFood or SuperCook, it shows you recipes based on what you already have laying around (SuperCook shows you both recipes that match your available ingredients exactly and recipes that may have additional ingredients, both of which you can filter). If you want to be more thorough, AnyList shows you recipes, saves your ingredients, and can be used to generate grocery shopping lists based on those, and can be used for long-term meal planning. PlanToEat lets you save recipes from anywhere on the web and can automatically generate shopping lists based on them. Besides those, I find it useful to go to the supermarket and walk around until I get a vague craving for what I want, then look up recipes and make a shopping list based on that.
Alternative for summarizing:
Recall is an AI-based solution specifically built for summarizing both files and web content. There are many others like it. If you want human-made pre-made summaries for things, check out SparkNotes and CliffsNotes. If you want to cross-reference any notes, use an academic search engine such as Web of Science.
Alternative for search engine:
It's obvious to any seasoned user that the quality of Google as a search engine has significantly decreased throughout the years, being absurdly vulnerable to SEO spam. The most popular Google Search alternatives are DuckDuckGo and Brave Search, as they more often than not offer good results while protecting user privacy. If you want the best of the best, and are willing to pay for the best of the best, a lot of people recommend Kagi. If you struggle to find what you're looking for regardless of browser, perhaps you should brush up on how to do web searches more efficiently (plus each search engine has its own keywords and search operators you can learn to improve your search results).
Alternative for maths:
if you're struggling to solve a maths problem yourself, you can input your problem into Photomath and it'll show you a step by step guide on how to solve it for free. Another alternative for this purpose is Symbolab, and though it shows you the step-by-step of each problem, you can only see the specifics of the explanation with a subscription. Personally, my favourite online maths solver with steps for when I'm stuck is Cymath, which shows solutions and steps for free, though it only comprehends some Algebra/Calculus problems thus far. If none of those help you truly understand a problem or a subject, you can ask at Mathematics Stack Exchange (no shame in asking!). If you don't have a scientific calculator, you can try the Desmos website, or the NumWorks app or website (a free emulated version of the actual physical graphing calculators they produce).
Just like all these, whatever it is you want done by AIs like ChatGPT, you can find other programs (and ever other AI-based programs!) made tailored to your specifications. By choosing the alternatives you protect yourself from misinformation.

#don't be mistaken i get really angry when people use ChatGPT or other LLMs like the OP showed from the tags#but if we are to stop people from doing that we should also show them what else they could use or do#psa#rambling#i spent like an hour writing this please someone pay attention to it

Boost Your Blogger SEO: XML Sitemap Generator - AnyResizer
Struggling to get your Blogger blog noticed by google? An XML sitemap might be the missing puzzle piece. Let’s break down how a free XML Sitemap Generator for Blogger works, why it’s essential for SEO, and how to use it to skyrocket your blog’s visibility.
What is an XML Sitemap Generator Tool?
An XML sitemap is like a roadmap for search engines—it lists every page, post, and image on your blog so crawlers can index them efficiently. But Blogger (Blogspot) doesn’t automatically create a sitemap for custom domains or non-*.blogspot.com URLs. That’s where a third-party XML Sitemap Generator saves the day.
This tool scans your blog, detects all published content, and builds a sitemap file compliant with google’s guidelines. No coding needed—just plug in your blog URL, and it does the heavy lifting.
How Does the XML Sitemap Generator Work?
Crawling Your Blog: The tool scans your Blogger site’s RSS feed or uses web scraping to identify posts, pages, and media.
Generating the Sitemap: It compiles URLs into an XML format, adding metadata like last update time and priority levels.
Validation: Checks for errors (e.g., broken links, duplicate entries) to ensure compatibility with search engines.
Auto-Update: Some tools monitor your blog and update the sitemap when you publish new content.
Step-by-Step: How to Use the Tool for Blogger
Find a Reliable Generator: Search for “free xml sitemap generator blogger” (we recommend [Tool Name] for its Blogger-specific features).
Enter Your Blog URL: Input your Blogspot URL (e.g., yourblog.blogspot.com) or custom domain.
Customize Settings (Optional):
Exclude older posts.
St priority levels (e.g., give homepage a 1.0 priority).
Add image/video tags for multimedia content.
Generate & Download: Click “Create Sitemap,” then download the XML file.
Submit to Google:
Go to Google Search Console.
Navigate to “Sitemaps” under “Indexing.”
Upload your file and monitor indexing status.
Pro Tip: Bookmark the tool—update your sitemap monthly to keep pace with new posts.
Why Blogger Users Need This Tool
Faster Indexing: Without a sitemap, google might miss new posts.
Fix Crawl Budget Issues: Direct bots to high-priority pages first.
Multimedia SEO: Image/video sitemaps improve visibility in rich results.
Compatibility: Works even if Blogger’s native sitemap (atom.xml) isn’t recognized by all search engines.
Top Keywords to Target (and Work Into Your Content)
“free xml sitemap generator for blogger
“how to create a sitemap for blogspot”
“seo tools for blogger users”
“submit sitemap to google search console”
“auto-update blogger sitemap”
FAQs: Quick Answers for Skeptical Bloggers
Q: My blog’s small. Do I still need a sitemap?
A: Yes! It ensures even new or low-authority pages get crawled.
Q: Will this work with a custom domain on Blogger?
A: Absolutely—enter your domain (e.g., yourblog.com) during generation.
Q: How often should I regenerate my sitemap?
A: Every time you publish 5-10 posts, or set up auto-updates if your tool supports it.
Q: Can I use this for AMP pages or mobile versions?
A: Advanced tools let you generate separate sitemaps for AMP or alternate languages.
Why Your Competitors Are Already Using This
Top blogs on Blogger leverage sitemaps to:
Dominate long-tail keywords.
Fix “discovered – not indexed” errors in Search Console.
Outrank WordPress sites (yes, really!)
An XML sitemap isn’t just a technical checkbox—it’s a strategic asset. By using a XML Sitemap generator for Blogger, you’re giving your content the best shot at ranking. Pair it with quality backlinks and on-page SEO, and watch your traffic climb.

Tips For Creating A Solid SEO Strategy For A New Website

Among the many things about search engine optimization (SEO strategy) that we enjoy, you can’t play the system. If you don’t follow Google’s rules, your users won’t have a good time. The tried-and-true methods no longer work. For a successful search engine optimization campaign, you need a quick website, unique content that answers the search query completely, and a lot of trust.
That may sound like a simple idea, but it’s a lot more difficult to put into practice. To be completely honest, each blog post takes 10 to 15 hours to complete.
What are the outcomes? Organic traffic and conversions have increased by a factor of 10 over the past year. Every year, thousands of backlinks are generated spontaneously.
When It Comes To Building A Successful Seo Strategy, Here Are The Steps:
Assess Your Current SEO Performance
To begin, take a look at your current SEO strategy and see how it’s doing. Your website’s organic visibility and branded/non-branded traffic split should be evaluated. You’ll be able to put together a strategy that will take you to the next level much more easily this way. This information can be gleaned, for example, by using the Semrush Organic Research Tool, which tracks the performance of your keyword rankings and organic traffic over time. Your site’s exposure, current performance, and changes over time are all clearly displayed here.
If most of these branded searches are coming from people who are already familiar with your company, then you’ll be able to see opportunities in your website’s traffic split. Increasing non-branded traffic, on the other hand, aids in bringing in new customers who may not be familiar with your brand. To get a sense of how your website is doing from an SEO perspective, you should take these indicators into account as well. It will also allow you to identify areas where you’ll need to improve your SEO services strategy in the future.
Research Your Target Audience
In order to develop an effective SEO strategy, you must first determine who your target market is. As a result, they’re not obtaining the results they expected. This is a common occurrence.
It takes more than a list of buyer personas to craft an effective SEO strategy. To know which keywords to use and what material to create, one should be able to understand how people search online and how they engage with each other.
By answering questions like the following, you can understand your audience deeper:
What search engines do they use?
The product or service providers are expected to deliver on their promises.
Is there anything I can do to alleviate their concerns about my products or services?
What are the most common inquiries regarding our business, its products, or services you get from customers?
When looking for answers, who do people turn to?
So, where can you locate this data? You can, for example, use social media, online polls, industry forums, or even your own sales or customer service workers for assistance.
It is easier to create a competitive SEO strategy if you know who your audience is and what they desire. Writing captivating content that is sure to attract their attention and discovering keywords and searches that are relevant to them are just two examples of ways in which you can engage your audience.
Use the Right Keywords in All the Right Places
At the core of SEO services, keywords should be at the center of your efforts at all times. Optimizing your website for the appropriate keywords is essential to attracting relevant leads. With tools like KeywordsFX and Keywords Everywhere, conduct free keyword research.
Focus on long-tail keywords as much as possible. Long-tail keywords, in contrast to short-tail ones, are those that include three or more words in their title. As a result, they’re less competitive, and they’re also easier to reach because they’re more specific.
Optimize On-Page Elements
The elements on your page are what Google uses to determine whether or not a user will find value in your content. To put it another way, they have an effect on the position of your website in search results. It is imperative that you optimize the following three on-page elements:
1. Tag for the title of the article
When users search online, the title tag is the headline that appears in the search results. So they can get a feel for what they’re getting into before they ever open the book.
You need to optimize your title tags because search engines utilize them to determine the relevance of a page.
Always place your keyword near the beginning of the title tag. As a result, your site’s users will feel more secure in the knowledge that your website is both current and trustworthy.
You should also limit the length of your title tag to no more than 60 characters. Otherwise, it will be truncated in the results of a search.
2. The snippet of text that appears at the top
Meta descriptions are snippets of information that appear in search results to give users a taste of what they’ll find on your site. There is a title tag and a description tag underneath it for your convenience.
Meta descriptions, like title tags, aid search engines in determining the relevance of a page in search results.
Keep your meta description to 150 characters or less and focus on the most salient parts of your post in it. Keep in mind to include your primary keyword as well.
The click-through rate of your organic search results will increase as a result of a compelling meta description, so keep that in mind!
3. URL
As part of your on-page SEO strategy, the URL (uniform resource locator) is a critical component. Search engines see it as more relevant the more you optimize it.
URLs are best kept basic, but you should also ensure that they give your audience a sense of what they’ll find on your page. Do not use random characters and digits in your content because they might be confusing to both people and search engines alike.
In case you’re wondering, you should absolutely incorporate your page’s keyword within the URL.
Build Reputable Links
Link building is an essential part of enhancing your website’s authority, traffic, and search engine rankings. Link building is the process of getting other websites to point their visitors to your site.
The authority of a website and its position in search results are both determined by the number of links pointing to it. Crawlers find new information by following links to other pages and assessing how relevant they are to a certain search query.
Make Your Website Easy to Navigate and Use
Trust us, no one enjoys a website that is difficult to navigate. Users who aren’t able to figure out how to use the site will leave after only a few seconds. This is why your SEO strategy must place a high value on user experience (UX). People will spend more time on a website if it is easy to use. A high ranking in the search engine results directly affects this signalling. Using these best practices will ensure that your site is accessible to everyone.
Increase the loading speed of your website. 53 percent of mobile site visits were abandoned if a page took more than three seconds to load. According to Google research, optimizing your images, selecting the correct hosting choice, activating compression, and caching your web pages can prevent this from happening to you. CTAs are important, so pay attention to them. CTAs (call-to-action) should be prominently displayed on your website, whether it’s for visitors to sign up for your newsletter, buy a product, or download a free app. Make sure they’re easy to understand and easy to see. Many personal trainers rely on social media and referrals, but if you're not optimizing for Google, you're missing potential clients. SEO (Search Engine Optimization) helps trainers rank higher in search results, making it easier for people to find their services online. Unlike ads, SEO provides long-term organic traffic at no ongoing cost.

Here are seven actionable SEO strategies personal trainers can use to boost visibility and attract more clients:
1. Optimize for Local SEO 📍
If you work with clients in a specific area, Local SEO is key. Here's how:
Claim & Optimize Your Google My Business (GMB) Profile – Ensure your name, address, and phone number (NAP) are correct. Add photos and business hours.
Use Local Keywords – Target phrases like “personal trainer in [your city]” or “best fitness coach near me.”
Encourage Reviews – Positive Google reviews improve rankings and build trust.
Optimize for Google Maps – Many clients search for trainers via Google Maps, so keep your listing updated.
2. Improve Website Speed & User Experience ⚡
A slow or difficult-to-use website can drive visitors away. Fix these issues:
Optimize Load Speed – Compress images, use caching, and minimize code.
Make It Mobile-Friendly – Over 60% of searches happen on mobile, so ensure your site looks good on all devices.
Clear Call-to-Actions (CTAs) – Every page should have a simple action, like booking a session or contacting you.
Use HTTPS – A secure website builds trust and ranks better on Google.
3. Create High-Quality Content 📝
Content marketing is a great way to showcase expertise and attract visitors. Here’s how:
Write Fitness Blogs – Cover topics like workout tips, nutrition guides, and injury prevention.
Answer Common Questions – Google loves content that directly addresses queries like “How often should I work out?”
Use Video Content – Google values video, so create exercise tutorials or fitness Q&As.
4. Use Internal Links 🔗
Internal linking helps Google understand your website and improves navigation for visitors:
Link to relevant blog posts or service pages.
Use clear anchor text (e.g., “Check out my nutrition coaching services” instead of “click here”).
Keep a logical structure so users can easily find information.
5. Build Social Proof & Reviews ⭐
People trust real experiences more than sales pitches. Ways to build credibility:
Showcase Client Testimonials – Feature reviews on your website and social media.
Create Case Studies – Share transformation stories with before/after results.
Encourage User-Generated Content – Repost client progress updates and shoutouts.
6. Get Quality Backlinks 🔄
Backlinks (links from other websites to yours) help Google see your site as credible. Ways to get them:
Guest Post on Fitness Blogs – Write valuable content for reputable sites and link back to your own.
Partner with Local Businesses – Get listed on gym websites and wellness centers.
Encourage Social Shares – Share your content in fitness communities and groups.
7. Keep SEO Up-to-Date 🔄
SEO isn’t a one-time fix—it requires ongoing updates:
Regularly update your website with fresh content.
Use tools like Google Search Console and Google Analytics to track progress.
Stay informed about Google’s algorithm changes to maintain rankings.
SEO is one of the most powerful ways for personal trainers to get found online. By optimizing for local searches, improving website performance, creating valuable content, and leveraging social proof, you can attract more clients and grow your fitness business.
