Thematically, Houseki no Kuni ended as a masterpiece. It's approachs towards the impermanence of self, the history and trauma we inherit, how to break a cycle you end up disturbing the fake peace and causing and suffering pain.

But most of all, the absolute loneliness of having a self. Of the human experience. And how this loneliness will be broken by other's interactions, how you will be perpetually changed by others. And you will crave for it or abhor it and fear it but there's no running from others affecting and changing and forming you.

Thematically, a story like no other. That I will carry with me.

Plot wise, though...? ... Huuuuh.
