Concrete Caisson Foundations: A Comprehensive Guide by Foundation Solutions
Tumblr media
When it comes to constructing sturdy and reliable structures, the foundation plays a pivotal role in ensuring long-term stability and safety. One of the most effective methods for supporting heavy loads and navigating challenging soil conditions is the use of concrete caissons. At Foundation Solutions, we specialize in providing top-quality concrete caisson foundation services, tailored to meet the specific needs of each project. In this comprehensive guide, we’ll delve into the basics of concrete caissons, their applications, benefits, and why Foundation Solutions is your go-to provider for exceptional foundation services.
What Are Concrete Caissons?
Concrete caissons, also known as drilled shafts, are deep foundation elements constructed by drilling a cylindrical hole into the ground and filling it with reinforced concrete. These structures are designed to transfer heavy loads from a building or structure to deeper, more stable soil or rock layers. Concrete caissons are commonly used in various construction projects, including bridges, high-rise buildings, towers, and other heavy structures.
The Construction Process of Concrete Caissons
The construction of concrete caissons involves several key steps:
Site Assessment and Planning: Before construction begins, a thorough site assessment is conducted to evaluate soil conditions, load requirements, and any potential challenges. This information is crucial for determining the size, depth, and number of caissons needed.
Drilling the Shaft: A specialized drilling rig is used to create a cylindrical hole in the ground. The diameter and depth of the shaft depend on the load-bearing requirements and soil conditions.
Installing Reinforcement: Once the shaft is drilled, a steel reinforcement cage is lowered into the hole. This cage provides additional strength and stability to the caisson.
Pouring Concrete: Concrete is poured into the shaft, encasing the reinforcement cage. The concrete is typically poured continuously to prevent the formation of cold joints, ensuring a uniform and strong foundation element.
Curing and Inspection: After pouring, the concrete is allowed to cure and harden. The caisson is then inspected for any defects or irregularities.
Load Testing: In some cases, load testing may be performed to verify the caisson’s load-bearing capacity and ensure it meets design specifications.
Applications of Concrete Caissons
Concrete caissons are versatile foundation elements suitable for a wide range of applications, including:
Bridges: Caissons provide the necessary support for bridge piers, transferring loads to deeper, more stable soil layers.
High-Rise Buildings: For skyscrapers and other tall structures, caissons offer a reliable foundation solution capable of handling heavy vertical and lateral loads.
Towers and Masts: Communication towers, transmission masts, and similar structures benefit from the stability and strength of concrete caisson foundations.
Marine Structures: In coastal and offshore construction, caissons are used to support docks, piers, and other marine structures.
Retaining Walls: Caissons can be used in the construction of retaining walls, providing stability and preventing soil erosion.
Benefits of Concrete Caisson Foundations
Concrete caisson foundations offer numerous benefits, making them an ideal choice for various construction projects:
High Load-Bearing Capacity: Caissons can support extremely heavy loads, making them suitable for large and complex structures.
Versatility: They can be used in a wide range of soil conditions, including soft soils, loose sands, and even underwater environments.
Reduced Settlement: By transferring loads to deeper, more stable soil layers, caissons minimize settlement and ensure the long-term stability of the structure.
Resistance to Lateral Forces: Caissons provide excellent resistance to lateral forces, such as wind and seismic activity, enhancing the overall safety of the structure.
Durability: When constructed with high-quality materials and proper techniques, concrete caissons are highly durable and require minimal maintenance.
Cost-Effectiveness: Despite the initial investment, caissons can be cost-effective in the long run due to their durability and minimal maintenance requirements.

In 2022, Massachusetts residents voted in favor of a Fair Tax ballot measure to extra-super-duper-tax those earning more than one million dollars a year and to spend the revenue from that on education and transportation initiatives.
Naturally, there were the naysayers. Those who warned that all of the state’s rich people would move away to their very own Galt’s Gulch or whatever, if they were forced to pay a four percent tax on anything they make over a million dollars. The implication there, of course, is that raising this tax would, ironically, lead to the state collecting less revenue overall.
That didn’t happen! In fact, the state has already raised $1.8 billion in revenue so far for this fiscal year — which is $800 million more than they expected, and they still have a few months to go. The vast majority of the surplus will go to a fund that legislators can use for one-time investments in various projects.
The revenue has already been invested in universal school lunches, in more scholarships to public colleges, in improvements to the MBTA, and to repair roads and bridges. These are all things that will improve the quality of life for everyone, including the “ultra-rich” who happen to live there. The fact is, it’s just nice to live in a society that is more civil, that takes care of its people and its children and that fixes things when they are broken.
[ ]
Elizabeth Warren, Pramila Jayapal, and others have introduced bills in the House and Senate for a nationwide millionaire’s tax of two percent — two cents on the dollar for all wealth exceeding $50 million and six percent on all wealth over a billion dollars. This would bring in an estimated $3.75 trillion over 10 years, which we could use to improve the lives of all US citizens. We could have so many nice things!
It’s time to stop living in fear of what millionaires and billionaires — who have made their fortunes off of roads we’ve paid for and employees we’ve paid to educate — will do or where they will move if forced to pay their fair share. That’s no way to live. If they have some place better to go that won’t force them to contribute to improving their community? Let them. Other people will come along and be more than happy to pick up where they left off. But more than likely, they won’t do jack shit because they’re rich, and if they wanted to live someplace else, they’d be there by now.

FINAL UPDATE
The goal has been reached! THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE!!!
PLEASE HELP MY FAMILY
My parents well has, despite everyone's best efforts, has broken completely. There is a leak in the pipes that can only be accessed with heavy machinery cutting through the woods and into the ground, with an estimated cost between 2k and 3k.
My black disabled dad, mom, brother, and their four dogs all live together on my dad's fixed income, which he gets through his disability. between the general cost of living and the disability savings cap, gofundme is the only possible way they can make enough to get this fixed.
With Georgia's current hot spring, and even hotter summer fast approaching, the need for ANY water is increasing. Because the house is so far isolated, there are no neighbors to rely on, no stores to even attempt to walk to, nothing within 20 minutes by car. we are doing everything we can to make sure, for the time being, that they all can shower and fill jugs of water to flush toilets and cook. this is not a permanent solution. Please help us
UPDATE
After weeks of struggle, a plumber that's actually good at his job came out and did a more thorough check.
Turns out the problem was largely ELECTRICAL!! We have water again! All they had to do was replace the burnt out wiring and protective boxes and buy ANOTHER pump!
Because of this, the goal has been changed to just $1,500 to cover the cost of repairs and replacements!
THANK YOU EVERYONE!!

I wasn't going to post again about this... and then I got the cost estimates.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
My beautiful baby boy needs surgery, and I could use some help. As many of you know, I had emergency GI surgery myself less than a year ago, and between that and some very necessary repairs to my house (the plumbing here is terrible, sigh) my savings are totally wiped out.
My lil fella means everything to me, and I'm going to take on the debt no matter what, but if you have a little bit to spare please consider clicking the link above, or at least reblogging this post.
If you'd rather -- I also have a shop where I sell my art, mostly tiny paintings of internet things. https://knitmeapony.bigcartel.com/ I even have some Dracula Daily things like this:
Tumblr media
https://knitmeapony.bigcartel.com/product/dracula-paprika-hendl
I'll be listing as many paintings as possible, including the Midnight Burger paintings and other things on @knitmeapainting
Thank you for any help you can offer!

DONATE & SHARE HERE
hello neighbor 💓
over the past seven years, i've had the privilege of living at a house of queer chosen family, which we call "the chrysalis." i produced nearly the entire soundtrack for SLARPG while living in this space; it's the biggest reason my work has been made possible, and it's also been an invaluable space for my own personal healing from complex PTSD.
today we called a plumber to address a leak in our bathroom and get a general inspection, and through that inspection we discovered that our main toilet and water heater urgently need replacing.
the estimated price for these repairs is in the neighborhood of $5,000; we're hoping to get at least half of those costs covered.
as a household of neurodivergent queers, our collective income has always been pretty modest. with the success of SLARPG i've been able to help with expenses, but it's honestly a feat that we've managed to hold on to this space for as long as we have. given that, any amount of help would make a huge difference for us.
please understand that i share this with the absolute recognition that in 2024, there are other people who need help more than we do. if you only have the funds to donate to more pressing causes, please direct your aid where it's needed most first.
with that said, if you are able to share or donate any amount, it would be greatly appreciated. thank you for supporting, for sharing, and for being.
with care and gratitude, bee 🐦

You walk through your front door, sliding the locks on instantly. Your shoulders drop, the stress leaving your body. Walking home alone was what you did regularly, only this time it felt different. It felt like someone was accompanying you. Even if it was only you that was walking your regular route home.
The fifteen minutes felt longer than usual but that could’ve rang true since you stopped a few times to look around swearing you could feel eyes on you. That’s why as soon as you got home you turned on all of the lights in your home.
Stupid Yuta. He was always saying something to put you on edge.
You turn on the TV and are shocked to find that the news is still on.
“Due to a power outage the following locations have been completely wiped out and won’t be repaired until November first.“
The list of cities and towns comes up. Melody, Lucville, Graze town , and 0 mile.
Lucville. That couldn’t be right, you had power right now. The phone rings loudly from the kitchen, pulling you from your thoughts. You get up to check, walking to the counter and pulling the phone to your ear.
“Hell–”
“Did you hear??? The campus closed down cause of some weird power thing, it’s not coming back til November.” Yuqi’s voice cuts yours off.
“I did yeah but that doesn’t make any sense,” You object, “my power’s working.”
“Yeah it’s only effecting places like the police stations and schools, some hospitals too. Don’t read too much into it just be happy we have no classes.”
“Yeah I guess you’re right.”
“I gotta go now, my bed calls me. I only called to make sure you got home. Minnie told me you left alone.”
“The bed or the person in it,” You hear her squeak like she’d been caught. “Don’t forget you owe me a clean room.”
“I’ll get to it tomorrow, promise.”
“Whatever.” You hang up.
At that moment you hear a knock at the front door. You check the time. 1:40am. Weird, your mom was held up at work and your father was still out of town. You walk over to the front door checking the peep hole and seeing nothing.
That’s strange.
You unlock the door and open it, looking around the area. It was just an empty street, not a single light was on from any house. You close the door guessing it could’ve been from the TV, when the phone rings again.
You walk over to the kitchen grabbing the phone. “Hello?”
You’re met with silence.
You scoff, “Yuta? If this is your idea of a prank you should really move on. Everyone’s seen Scream by now.” You hang up.
Even though you were very sure it was just Yuta who was prank calling, you can’t help but feel a shiver run down your spine. You reach up over the counter opening the cabinet to grab a glass when the phone rings again.
You jump, the glass dropping from your finger tips and crashing into the ground. You groan, carefully crossing the glass without stepping in it and reaching for the phone.
“Yuta I swear to god the next time I see you, you better have a jockstrap on!” You shout before being cut off.
“Woah y/n are you okay?”
You sigh in relief. “Mark?”
“Yeah, I was calling to make sure you got home safe. Is something wrong?”
“It’s nothing, just got a bit spooked with a call earlier.”
“I’m guessing Yuta?”
“Ding Ding Ding. Guess i’m victim to his little halloween pranks.”
“I’ll talk to him about it.”
“Don’t bother, I can handle him.”
“I’m sure you can,” He chuckles, “Jockstrap?”
“It’s a clear warning in case he does want kids in the future.”
You can hear his smile through the phone, it helps ease your mind. “Assuming he doesn’t already have some running around?”
You let out a chuckle. “You’re right. He’ll be fine without any more.”
The laugh he lets out is contagious. “I gotta clean up a bit here, i’m glad you called though.” You meant it.
“Of course, wouldn’t want anything to happen to you. Who else would keep the guys in check?”
You can’t help the blush that fills your cheeks. “Bye, Mark.”
“I’ll see you later y/n.” The call ends.
You quickly clean up the mess before heading back into your brother’s old room to sleep. It was completely empty save for the TV left on a counter and a loan poster of Madonna on the wall.
You turn off the lights hoping to god you will make tomorrow’s morning shift at the diner.

my partner and I are in the middle of a huge shitstorm rn and we really need help!!!!
Vmo @/alumirust PyPl [email protected] CshPp $doppelgougar
tldr I'm trying to find an apartment for the two of us while dealing with housing instability myself, my girlfriend is being kicked out by her transphobic and horrifically abusive family and we need help getting her up here so that she is not homeless in the rural southern US as a trans woman. my partner's deadline is the end of april. I need to find a place by july or my voucher gets taken away. it's a mess
I'm still struggling to find housing with a government subsidy in order to be able to get back on my feet after years of homelessness & instability because of fleeing an abusive relationship when I was 19. if you've been following me you know the absolute nightmare my situation has been leading up to this. I'm able to stay somewhere relatively stable for the time being, blessedly, and they're able to take in my partner as well.
My close friend and lovely girlfriend has been unable to escape her severely abusive family for her whole life. the shit she's told me they do to her is the stuff of genuine nightmares, and now they're kicking her out at the end of the month. she had made plans, but they've since fallen through, and she needs help repairing her car.
the biggest, most pressing issue with her car is the rack and pinion probably need to be replaced. we're working on getting an estimate for that but she's having to take it somewhere else because the initial mechanic she brought it to couldn't help her with it :( I'll update this post with a dollar amount when we have it!!
her deadline is the end of april. if she's unable to get her car repaired on time, we're looking into having the car delivered, her flying in via plane, and mailing some of her belongings (she really doesn't have a lot, though) and then worrying about the repairs once she's up here. the car is technically operable, but the issues with it mean it's NOT safe for a 17+ hour drive in its current state. but she also absolutely has to be out by the end of the month. it's a fucking mess like I said!! she has SOME savings to work off of, but not very much. she had to shell out $750 for repairs not including the rack and pinion.
any little bit at all is appreciated, even small amounts add up. if all my followers helped with just one dollar we'd be really close to being able to afford the delivery outright!! even if you're unable to help please share this, I really really want to ensure my girlfriend is able to get out of there safely. thank you all for your help so far <3

WHAT WE’RE WITNESSING IN GAZA, in other words, is not self-defense; it is an opportunistic offensive. It is not a “war,” the word used mendaciously and misleadingly by most of the mainstream Western press; it is a campaign of genocidal violence. Indeed, it’s a “textbook case of genocide,” as Craig Mokhiber put it in his letter resigning from his role as the Director of the New York Office of the UN’s High Commissioner for Human Rights. His words have been echoed by many scholars of genocide and the Holocaust. Genocide is, after all, the term international law provides for a situation in which one group imposes on another “conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part,” in addition to killing or “causing serious bodily and mental harm to members of the group.” Beyond the 11,000 civilians killed, the UN has estimated that 262,000 residential units have been damaged or destroyed—amounting to about half of Gaza’s entire stock of housing—and 1.7 million people displaced from their homes. The territory’s basic infrastructure of electricity, water, and sewage networks, repeatedly battered in previous Israeli assaults, has been damaged beyond repair. Newly installed solar panels have been deliberately targeted and smashed. Israel has targeted and destroyed eleven bakeries producing the staple on which the population depends for its very survival; it has bombed the fishermen’s boats which are, or were, another potential source of nourishment; it has bombed and churned up the fields that sustain Gaza’s surviving agriculture; it has bombed water conduits and reservoirs. People are forced to drink dirty, polluted, contaminated, or brackish water, with the inevitable results of diarrhea and disease. Hundreds of corpses are rotting under the rubble. Whoever survives the bombing today will be drinking seawater and eating unbaked wheat in the future, if not starving, or dying of the diseases already proliferating from the raw sewage running through streets. And there will be nowhere for them to live.

Look at Me
Tumblr media
Summary: No outbreak au. You live with your cousin after catching your husband having an affair. He hires contractor!Joel to do some home repairs. After flirting back and forth, filth ensues. 18+ ONLY. MDNI.
Semi-public sex/exhibitionism kind of, unprotected p in v, creampie, some pet names (pretty girl, pretty, baby, darlin’ etc) Joel is a little cocky but still pretty sweet.
Warning: mild drug use (a little devils lettuce)
Word count: 2,903
“Broderick, you’ll never believe it…I got the fucking house!”
You had just gotten off the phone with your divorce attorney and she gave you the good news. Your stupid rich (soon to be) ex-husband hadn’t bothered to ask you to sign a prenup. You suppose he figured he was too smart to get caught fucking one of his employees in his office. Well, he wasn’t, and you were getting half his fortune and the house. In the meantime, your cousin and best friend since childhood had graciously opened his home to you.
“That’s what I call karma!” Broderick grinned. He gave you a high five. “You are one rich bitch.”
You practically skipped to your room to call your best girl friend and tell her the news. You talked to her for almost an hour before deciding you were in need of a celebratory joint.
Meanwhile, Joel Miller was in the stairwell inspecting a small hole in the ceiling when he heard your door open and close downstairs. He peeked over the railing to see who it was - he wasn’t aware anyone else was in the house.
He saw your figure walking away from him and into the living room. You were on the phone, too engrossed in your conversation to notice him peering over the stair rail. You were wearing tiny, black cotton shorts and a cropped black band tee. He stared for a moment longer than he probably should have because, well…you were hot.
“Well, at least I married rich and he was too stupid to ask me for a prenup,” you said to your friend, rummaging through the end table beside the couch. You pulled out the necessary equipment to roll a joint and Joel watched as you did so effortlessly.
“You wanna know what the worst part is?” you asked, pinching the end of the joint before lighting it up. “He was actually good in bed. Like, I can’t even take comfort in the fact that at least she’s not getting good dick, ya know? Cause she definitely is. Meanwhile, I’m getting none. Bastard.”
The conversation was cut short on Joel’s end when you took your joint onto the deck and closed the sliding door. Joel couldn’t help but notice that when you leaned against the railing, your shorts rode up just a little higher, giving him just the slightest peek at your cheeks.
“Wouldn’t mind bein’ the one that gives her some,” Joel thought to himself. He shook his head and turned around, reminding himself that he’s a professional.
Once he finished upstairs, the deck was the only place left he needed to inspect. You were still out there chatting and he felt unsure of how to proceed. He settled on just opening the sliding door. When you heard the noise, you jumped and whipped around. You saw a man you didn’t recognize standing in the door frame. He was a very attractive man, but a stranger nonetheless.
“Hey, let me call you back,” you muttered into the phone. You looked up at the man nervously. “Can I help you?”
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you. I’m a contractor. Broderick called me for an estimate on some repairs. He didn’t tell me there would be anyone else in the house,” Joel explained.
“That makes two of us,” you replied. A slight breeze carried some of the smoke from your joint in Joel’s direction.
“Oh fuck, sorry,” you apologized, snubbing the joint out and fanning the air around him.
“No worries, I’m almost done and you guys were my last stop,” he said, waving your apology off. You stood in an awkward silence for a few moments before you spoke again.
“Well, I reckon I’ll let you get to it. It was nice meeting you, uh…?” You looked at him quizzically, waiting for him to give you his name.
“Joel,” he offered. You smiled.
“Nice to meet you, Joel.” You introduced yourself before opening the sliding door and stepping inside. “If you need anything, I’ll be in the living room.”
Broderick trotted down the stairs as you were shutting the door.
“Why didn’t you tell me someone was coming?” you hissed. “I would’ve, ya know, gotten dressed.”
“I forgot I made the appointment for today. But honey, he’s so hot, how can you complain?” he replied. He looked out the glass doors at Joel, who was slightly sweating in the late afternoon Texas heat. His muscles made the white t-shirt he was wearing tight around his arms.
“Mmm mmm, come to papa,” Broderick said under his breath. You laughed and shook your head.
“What are the chances he’s gay, Brod?”
“Literally zero. I saw him checking you out earlier,” he pouted.
“Oh whatever,” you rolled your eyes. “He’s way too good looking to have been looking at me.”
“Bitch please,” he scoffed. “You managed to land one of the hottest, richest men in Texas!”
“Yes Brod, and if you remember correctly, I’m staying with you because he was fucking the hot intern.”
“You’re hot babes, trust me. And Mr. Contractor wants a piece.”
Joel came back inside then and announced he was finished with the inspection. They discussed the repairs that needed to be made and Broderick approved them and scheduled Joel to get started the following week. You smiled sweetly and waved as he walked out the door.
—————————
When Joel came back the next week, you made sure you wore the least amount of clothing you could get away with. When he arrived on the first day, you were out on the deck in yoga shorts and a sports bra. He brought a few guys with him to help and they were open with their stares as you went through your morning yoga routine. Joel only stole glances when he knew he could get away with it. He didn’t know if you had worn that outfit for his benefit or not, but he hoped you had. He was in the kitchen painting cabinets when you walked in for a drink.
“Morning Joel,” you chirped as you walked past him.
“Mornin’,” he replied with a smile that almost made you melt into a puddle at his feet.
“Would you like anything to drink?” you asked. You opened the refrigerator door and looked inside. “We have lemonade and sweet tea - ya know, the basic southern staples - and water.”
“I’m fine for now darlin’. Thanks though.”
You squealed internally when he called you darlin’ in that Texas drawl.
“Could I bother you for a glass from that cabinet next to the one you’re painting?” You batted your eyelashes at him sweetly. You watched his Adam’s apple bob up and down as he swallowed hard.
“Sure.” He reached into the cabinet and handed you a glass. You made sure to brush his fingers with yours as you took it from him.
“Thanks Joel,” you smiled demurely.
You filled the glass with lemonade and he watched as you sashayed back to the deck and settled into a lounge chair. He was in for it if this is how it was going to go the rest of the time he was there.
You flirted with Joel subtly and not-so-subtly for the next two days. You wore cute outfits to try to get his attention. He always flirted back and you caught him looking you up and down more than once. If he didn’t make his move today, you were going to take it upon yourself to make one. You were horny enough as it was, but Joel being around every day was making it almost unbearable.
You skipped the cute outfit this time and opted for comfort, throwing on an oversized t-shirt over your white cotton panties. You were happy to find Joel in the kitchen when you walked in for a snack. You hadn’t seen him all day. You leaned against the island, elbows resting on either side of you.
“Hey Joel.”
“Well look who it is,” he greeted you with a smile. “I was beginnin’ to think you forgot about me.”
“Me? Forget about you? Never,” you flirted.
“No cute outfit today?” he asked casually. You fake pouted.
“You don’t think this looks good?” You looked up at him coyly, playing with the hem of your shirt.
“Didn’t say that,” he smirked, taking several steps toward you. “Ya know, you’ve been the only thing my guys can talk about. They’ve appreciated having something to look at.”
Your bodies were tantalizingly close. You looked up to meet his eyes.
“I don’t want any of them.”
“No? Then tell me - who have you been showing off for, hmm?” he teased, resting his palms on either side of you and caging you in.
“I think you know,” you smirked.
“Mhmm, I do know. But I said tell me.”
The change in his voice made you shiver. It was low and commanding, a total 180 from the respectful southern gentleman he had been when he first arrived.
“You, Joel. Just you,” you responded in a hushed tone. He reached up and ran his thumb along your bottom lip before taking your chin between his fingers and tilting your head upward.
“That’s right, doll. Just. Me. Tsk tsk…they’ll be so disappointed to find out the boss gets you all to himself.”
He lifted you onto the island and stood between your legs, his hands resting on your upper thighs. You wrapped your arms around his neck and he took that as permission to finally kiss you.
“You want me to touch you?” he murmured against your lips.
“Yes,” you breathed.
“Where baby? Show me.”
You took his hand and guided it between your legs. He grinned and rubbed light, slow circles over your panties.
“More, please,” you whined, bucking up into his hand.
“Aw, nobody’s been touching this little pussy, have they?” he asked, poking his bottom lip out mockingly. You shook your head. “What a shame. I bet you make the prettiest sounds. Let’s find out.”
He applied more pressure to your clit and you moaned softly.
“I can feel how wet you are over your pretty panties,” he marveled. “You need this, don’t you baby girl?”
“Yes…god yes,” you whimpered. He reached his hand in your panties and gathered your slick to use as lube to rub your clit.
“Oh fuck,” you moaned quietly. You’d been doing this to yourself for months but it was always so much better when someone else did it.
“M-more…faster,” you said after you could no longer stand the teasing pace at which he was touching you. He obliged and you let out a long sigh, tipping your head back.
“Mmm, I was right. Such pretty sounds.” He kissed your exposed throat and bit gently into the flesh. You felt the pleasure building until you were breathlessly begging him to make you cum.
“Let it go darlin’, go on,” he encouraged. You gripped his bicep tightly as you reached your peak, your breath coming out in short staccatos. You would’ve preferred to be more vocal, but you tried to control yourself given the circumstances.
“There we go baby,” he cooed, grinning widely. He slowed his movements but didn’t completely stop and your hips twitched upward every time he completed a circle.
“Joel…,” you whined. He put his lips against yours to quiet you.
“Mm? What is it, pretty?”
You weren’t sure what it was, but it drove you absolutely wild when he talked against your lips. You let him kiss you for a few moments before answering.
“Fuck me,” you whispered into the kiss.
“Thought you’d never ask.”
He took his tool belt off and laid it on the counter before hastily undoing his jeans. He pulled them down with his underwear just enough to free his cock. He was slightly thicker than your ex, but about the same length. You prayed he knew how to use it.
“You want it?” he asked with a smirk as he pushed your panties aside and teased your entrance with the head of his cock.
“Please,” you responded desperately. He chuckled.
“Okay pretty girl, I’ll give it to you.”
He slid in slowly and you uttered a breathy moan of his name. He teased you with a languid pace, looking down to watch as he inched his cock back into your pussy.
“So hot,” he murmured.
“Faster, please,” you begged. He grabbed your hips and pulled you closer to him. You put your hands on his shoulders to brace yourself as he picked up his pace. He gripped your waist as he snapped his hips forward repeatedly.
“God damn, this pussy feels so good. Takin’ me so well baby,” he praised. You kissed him and threaded your fingers through his hair. You let out a high pitched whine into the kiss when he hit your g-spot.
“Right fucking there,” you mewled.
“That feels good, huh?” he questioned with a hint of cockiness.
“So fucking good,” you agreed. “Please don’t stop.”
“Couldn’t if I wanted to. Pussy feels too good to stop.”
“Oh god, Joel.” Just listening to him talk like that was almost enough to get you off.
“Been wantin’ this since I saw you in those little black shorts the first day I was here. I got off that night thinkin’ about eating your pussy until you were beggin’ me to stop.”
“Oh my god, that is so fucking hot.” You kissed him desperately, breathing heavily and moaning. “Please fuck me harder.”
“Yeah? You want me to make this pretty pussy cum? Hmm?” He began to pound into you and it was all you could do not to cry out. “Answer me.”
“Yes, please make me cum! Need it so bad.” You were practically crying.
“I know you do pretty girl. I’m gonna make you feel so good, don’t worry,” he soothed.
Just then, you heard the swinging door to the kitchen open.
“Hey Joel, we nee - holy shit!”
You instinctively looked back and saw one of Joel’s employees. You didn’t really care that he was staring at you, dumbstruck, while you were getting absolutely railed by his boss. Joel grabbed your chin and turned your head back to face him.
“Don’t look at him, look at me.”
“Oh god,” you whimpered pathetically. This just might be the hottest thing you’d ever experienced.
“Get out,” Joel growled to his employee, who was still frozen to the spot. You heard the swinging door swish and you knew he was gone.
“Sorry,” he grunted an apology.
“Don’t be,” you panted. “It was hot.”
“Fuck, you’re a filthy thing,” he grinned. He pressed his thumb to your clit and rubbed in quick circles as he continued to pound into you. “I want you to cum for me, okay? Can you do that baby?”
“Yes Joel, god yes,” you moaned. “I’m so close.”
“Good girl. I want you to keep your eyes on me when you cum. I want to see how pretty you are when you’re soaking my cock.”
That was all you needed for your release to wash over you.
“God damn it I’m fucking cumming.” It hit like a fucking freight train, and the shout that came from your throat was involuntary. You were sure the rest of Joel’s guys had already heard about what was going on in there so you didn’t particularly care. You locked eyes with Joel and tried to maintain eye contact, but it felt so good that your eyes rolled back and your head tilted upward. He gripped your chin once again and brought your head back down.
“Eyes on me pretty mama,” he panted as he chased his release. “I’m gonna fucking explode. Where do you want it?”
“Inside, I’m on the pill.”
“Holy f-fuck,” he stuttered, not expecting that answer. “I’m gonna fill this pussy so full.”
“Yes baby, fill me up. I wanna feel it in me for the rest of the day.”
“Shit, I’m close,” he warned. “Cum for me one more time and I’ll fill you up.”
He wrapped one arm around your waist and held your thigh onto his hip with his other hand. He pounded into you with all he had.
“Oh god, fuck me, fuck me, fuck me,” you chanted. “I’m cumming again.”
“That’s right, c’mon baby girl. Cum on my fucking cock.”
You came a second time, clenching around him. The grunts and broken moans coming from him only fueled the fire that was exploding through you. Your mouth opened, but no sound save for the tiniest squeak escaped. All the breath had been taken from you.
“Oh fuck, here it comes,” you heard Joel groan through the rushing in your ears. “I’m cumming so hard.” His hips sputtered and then stilled as he drained his balls inside you. You rested your forehead on his shoulder and caught your breath. He rubbed your back in gentle circles.
“Did so good,” he praised breathlessly. He pulled out slowly and some of his cum pooled onto the island. He grabbed a paper towel and wiped it up before readjusting your panties. He patted your now clothed pussy and grinned.
“Now you have something to remind you of me until I can fuck you again. If that’s alright with you, that is.”
“You could fuck me all day every day,” you told him seriously. He laughed and kissed you softly.
“I’ll take that deal.”

We have an electrician coming to give us an estimate tomorrow and it has un-invisibled all the things that I've been overlooking since we moved in so I left after that minimalism post to clean my bathroom ceiling with a magic eraser.
Fan in the bathroom is broken, the window is along the neighbor's yard, which reeks of cat piss so we can't open the window or turn on the fan to air it out and my cousin didn't either when she was renting the house so when we moved in there were water stains from the condensation on the ceiling and after an hour on a stepstool now there aren't.
Now, on to the other bathroom. Which is less of a disaster because fewer people shower in it (either now or when my cousin lived here; she was bad at controlling the ants here so there were ants in the bathroom a lot and it freaked out her kids so they all used the master bath so the hall bath is in pretty decent shape)
(except for the fan that I had to take down the cover for because at one point I was showering in there and I turned the fan heater on then smelled smoke and it turned out the heating coil had broken loose and was burning a hole through the plastic cover)
(This is not the house that cthulu built, this is the house that ADHD ate because all the repairs in the last thirty years have been put off until the last minute and then fixed until "good enough")

The GOP’s 43-year tax-cuts-for-billionaires-while-we-ignore-the-needs-of-the-country grift has an analogy in condos and homes across America that might help voters understand how it works and how they’ve gotten away with it.
Fully 84 percent of all homes and apartments built and sold in 2022 came with a homeowner’s association (HOA), and an estimated 27 percent of all homeowners nationwide currently live in a property controlled by an HOA.
And many are very unhappy about the experience.
According to a survey by Rocket Mortgage, only 47 percent of HOA residents think their HOA has made their community better, only two-thirds (64%) believe their HOA “honestly handles its finances,” and one in ten people nationwide who have an HOA cite the HOA itself as their main reason for moving.
How and why is this?
Louise and I have lived in five communities with HOAs in two different states. Three (including where we now live) were well managed, kept up the community, and set aside money from the dues every month for the inevitable future maintenance. I was on the board of one of them. The other two ran, essentially, a shell game or reverse Ponzi scheme, which led us to eventually quit those communities and move.
READ: Deep-red 'Republican stronghold' thought to be 'easy win for Trump' is now a swing state
I remember attending a board meeting in one of those “shell game” HOA communities we’d lived in. There were multiple common-area maintenance issues needing attention, but a group who called themselves “low-tax conservatives” had run the board for over a twenty years.
There was almost nothing in reserves, so maintenance had been continuously postponed until things hit a crisis level. Then they’d hit us all with a series of “special one-time assessments” ranging from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars to pay for the upkeep. They refused to raise the monthly HOA fee, referring to it as a tax, because, they said, they were “low-tax conservatives”; in fact, they were just cheapskates.
That HOA board had been, in the past and the present, stealing from future homeowners.
They did it so they could enjoy the community during the first 30 or so years — when maintenance costs were minimal — without setting aside money for the future, when things would rot or wear out and need replacement or upgrade.
For the first three decades, they were able to coast with $200/month in dues and no assessments; by the time we arrived when the units were pushing 35 years old, though, the assessments were hitting $3000 to $9000 a year, and, when the buildings’ roofs need repair (soon) it’ll be twice that amount or more.
Fortunately, once we saw the handwriting on that particular wall we were able to sell our condo and move to a well-run community. Americans, though, don’t have that option: Republicans have been running this same shell game or reverse Ponzi scheme against all of us (except the very rich) across the entire country ever since Reagan successfully pitched trickle-down economics to the nation in 1981.
If you’ve ever lived in one of these shell game HOA’s, you now perfectly understand Reaganomics and why it seems that America has deteriorated so badly over the past 40 years.
You could call it the disaster of pothole economics: all across America, roads, bridges, water systems, schools, and other vital public infrastructure have been underfunded and neglected ever since Reagan popularized the idea of “austerity” among Republicans.
In order to pay for the second most massive tax cut for the morbidly rich in history (Reagan cut the top tax bracket from 74% down to 25%), his administration cut spending on education, housing, roads and bridges, and pretty much every other aspect of America’s infrastructure. George W. Bush did the same thing, and Donald Trump tripled down on the scheme.
The result was a $51 trillion transfer of wealth — over a mere forty-three years — from the homes, retirement accounts, and savings of average working families into the money bins of the extremely wealthy. Thirty-four trillion of that transfer show up as our national debt, which was a mere $800 billion ($0.8 trillion) when Reagan first came into office and started this scam.
President Joe Biden and his Vice President, Kamala Harris, ran the first administration of either party to significantly repudiate Reagan’s neoliberalism by injecting trillions into rebuilding our nation (over 35,000 projects) while raising taxes on rich people and corporations to pay for it.
The result was immediately visible, just like in the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s: we now have the best economy on planet Earth with unemployment lower than any time since the 1960s (and lower than any time in history for women, Blacks, and Hispanics). Inflation has been at or below 0% for the past two months and is annually running around 3% (Reagan never got inflation below 4.1% in his entire 8 years); all across America we’re putting our rural areas, towns, and cities back together.
For the past forty years, Republicans and their administrations have focused almost entirely on taking cash away from working class people and handing it off to the billionaires who own and finance their party. At the top of the list of ways they did this was a series of five tax cuts for the morbidly rich and big corporations adding up to over $30 trillion since 1981.
But they’ve also been cutting spending to compensate for their tax breaks for the billionaire class: They blocked extending the child tax credit this year, throwing millions of American children back into poverty. They’ve fought lifting the cap on Social Security taxes so people making over $168,600 will begin paying on all of their income (millionaires and billionaires currently pay only a tiny fraction of the percentage to support Social Security that the rest of us do).
Fully 100% of congressional Republicans voted against Biden’s Build Back Better program that’s now putting America back together and his American Rescue Plan that lifted millions out of poverty and put millions more back to work. They successfully blocked the Paycheck Fairness Act that would have penalized employers for wage discrimination based on gender; they’ve refused to expand Medicaid in almost a dozen Red states; they even filibustered an attempt to raise the minimum wage from $7.25 to $10.10.
For the past forty-plus years, Republicans — just like these dysfunctional HOAs — have been stealing from America’s future; our infrastructure deficit alone is several trillion dollars, meaning Americans will be paying more in taxes to make up for all those decades of neglect.
Democrats want those tax increases to hit people earning over $400,000 a year; Republican tax proposals, on the other hand, mostly focus on increasing income taxes and fees on working class people while continuing or even expanding tax breaks for the very wealthy.
One of the “low tax” HOAs we used to live in, instead of raising their monthly fee or instituting an assessment, recently negotiated a million-dollar-plus 20-year loan with people’s properties as the collateral to fund painting and repairing serious rot on the buildings.
This should have been paid for with an increase in HOA fees twenty years ago, anticipating the future maintenance and upkeep needs.
But instead they kept the fee low, never built up a reserve, and are now borrowing from the bank. In other words, they’re continuing the all-too-common HOA board scam of requiring future generations to pay for current repairs, just like the GOP budget proposals we’ll see when they return from summer vacation in September will require future generations to pay for their past tax cuts.
It’s the equivalent of Reagan, Bush, and Trump jacking up the national debt to keep things glued together, forcing future generations to pay it off when the bill comes due, while their wealthy corporate funders rob us blind.
Homeowners across America are waking up to these toxic HOA boards, as social media sites for HOA members are forming and local homeowner uprisings are happening against boards, either replacing the board members or, in some cases, even suing them. Some states are even starting to require they build up reserves for future maintenance.
Hopefully, Americans will realize how successfully Republicans have inflicted this very same scam on voters and working class people over the past forty-plus years and vote the bums out this fall.

Disabled Mostly Queer Homeless Family Needs Help With Two Loans & Car Repair!
PAYPAL | AMAZON WISHLIST | KOFI | GOFUNDME
VENMO: @penaltywaltz | CASHAPP: $afteriwake23 | ZELLE: DM me for email address
5/4/24 - New Post
Thanks to an INCREDIBLY generous donation I got on the 2nd, I was able to pay off all the payday loans, the $1200 loan and was also able to start paying my IRL bestie who I owe, like, over $7000 to for help she's given me over the years. That leaves the $500 and $600 loans to pay off, but even if I can't pay them off right away, they aren't long term loans (one I have four months left to pay, the other I have five months left to pay) and the payments are small enough that I will still have money left over if I have to make the payments to pay it off. But any help paying them off earlier would be much appreciated.
Our car is also acting up a bit: we have power windows, and the back two windows keep rolling down and we were having trouble getting the passenger one to come back up earlier this week. My mom got an estimate that it would be $300 - $600 per window to fix from our mechanic, so while we have a little bit saved, we want to be able to put that towards housing if we can't get into the Section 8 housing.
I'm setting the goal at $2500 just so we can cover labor at our mechanic as well as the cost of fixing the windows if we need it. If the windows behave, we'll put the money towards housing. Please help if you can but know this isn't an emergency and if you find someone who needs help more, help them first.
$1700/$1750
