YooOOOOo I know it's way to early to be analysing a clip that's literally less than a second long but like can we talk about it??? Can we fucking talk about it?????? Can we talk about how in the novel Crowley's glasses were knocked off his face when he was hit with the blast of water from outside, and how he ran straight out of the bookshop and drove away before thinking to materialise a new pair??? And how that has been changed here?????? About how in the novel his exit from the shop is so quick and nonchalant it takes renders everyone at the scene speechless, yet here he has TAKEN THE TIME TO STAND AT THE DOORWAY, SOAKING WET, AND TAKE HIS GLASSES OFF, BEFORE LEAVING???? I can't even articulate WHY that hurts so much more, but just the face he makes as he stands there, probably taking it all in?? And his face isn't even one of confusion - it's one of pure uncensored pain. That's him realising aziraphale is gone. That it's just him from here on out. That he's all alone. And he's terrified.
