“Grandmother is visiting,” Damian suddenly said with no warning and with his usual not-quite demanding tone. 

“Who?” Tim wasn’t the only one to startle, seeing as Bruce had practically froze, a downturn to his lips in a silent show of confusion. 

Damian scowled. “Are you deaf Drake? Grandmother is coming to Gotham to, quote, make sure I am being properly cared for.” None of them had known that Ras was with anyone actually. At least Tim was pretty sure that would have been in the files. 

“Oh?” Dick didn’t quite crouch to Damian’s height but it was a near thing. “She-” “He,” Damian corrected, interrupting him. They all exchanged a glance before Dick continued. 

“Is he coming to the Manor or…” 

Damian scoffed again, a tiny bit of a flush against his face. “No, Grandmother will most likely be staying with Akhi-”

Keeping a puppy sub in the same way you keep a pampered, spoiled, Chihuahua:

They have a their own closet for their fancy outfits. Every time a new outfit is purchased I host a private ‘fashion show’ so me and my friends can coo at them. We play a game to see who can make the first wet spot appear on their new clothes; winner gets to fuck them.

Their harnesses and collars are real (ethically sourced) leather and they have a different one for every day of the week, for each season.

Their bed is filled with (ethically sourced) Goose down and hand stitched out of cashmere by an artisan seamstress. Their crate is made of real gold; they’re well trained to not damage it.

Their food and water bowls are cut crystal, and I only feed them locally sourced food. I retain a personal chef for their meals; I would never feed them kibble! Their beautiful coat and energy levels would suffer.

All of their toys, from the fuck machine I bought them to their favorite doggy bone, are top of the line custom creations.

They have a pet sitter to watch them during the day while I work, and while they do behave all day (because I took the time to train them), I remain their favorite person. They always get a special treat for being so good when I’m finished working.

I do all of the grooming for them, since they’re technically a low maintenance breed, but I pamper them during bath time, too.

What a sweet, carefree, spoiled life they would lead.

Wolf hound hybrid Soobin who is supposed to be in training. He knows he's supposed to act all tough and scare off the bunny hybrid in front of him, make a good show. That's what they want from him.

But he looks at you and he can't help but feel... what is that? Protective? Awe? Something definitely opposite of his natural instincts, surely, and something that could lose him this job. Yet he can't even entertain the thought of acting in such a way toward you. You're just sitting there, innocently preening and minding your own business. You're naive to the fact that anyone owns the ground under your feet, and you're certainly not malicious.

So he does the very last thing he should do; he emerges carefully from the tree line he was hidden in, makes a show of peace when your wide cautious eyes take him in. When you remain in your spot, seemingly trusting of him, he approaches, sitting beside you in the grass dotted with flowers, eventually curling up at your side and almost drifting off in the warm sun as he watches you comb your fingers through your hair diligently.

He was never very good at his job, anyway.

The Hell-Hounds of Yautja Prime

So... ever since I saw Predators 2010, I instantly fell in love with the hounds! The design is just the definition of awesome! Since then, I have been hoping to see them more in Predator media.

With my comic, I'm working, I thought it'd be perfect to show the hounds once more, but what if there's different subspecies like we see with yautja? What if the ones we saw in Predators are just one of the few breeds?

So... taking inspiration from the Predator lore and species, I've cooked possible ideas for different hounds across the terrains of Yautja Prime.

Swamp Hound - This group is the one from the film, the basis of the other hounds. Swamp hounds, like their Swamp/Super Predator handlers, are the biggest of the hound subspecies and the most aggressive.

Jungle Hound - Found in the forests and jungles, this group is mostly wild. However, they are commonly found with jungle hunter clans. Plus, their hides come in multiple colors, most commonly orange and green and rarely blue.

Desert Hound - Perhaps the smallest group of hounds, Desert Hounds are the most sturdy and loyal breed. Their tough and bumpy hides help them to withstand the harsh deserts and rough sandstorms. Amongst the desert clans, they're held in high regard and a highly respected animal. Desert hounds are also used to help safeguard newborn yautja pups.

Mountain Hound - This group is a little different from their cousins. Instead of living in extreme temperatures of heat, this group lives in frigid mountains. Found commonly with the Isolated Clan, mountain hounds are a loyal and hardy breed (second to the desert). And like their desert cousins, they help to safeguard newborn yautja pups, even using their soft, insulated fur to keep them warm.
