I seriously love my job. I love going in to work and just help everyone out. I love speaking to people and I love to make them feel important. I don't try to just make a sale, I love to engage myself with the visitors at our store. I love learning about their favorite activities, dreams, goals, and even what they plan to do that weekend. If they are having a bad day, I make sure I do my best to turn their day into a better day. I love to make people laugh with my dumb jokes. It always makes my day when I see people I've previously helped out come into my store again and remember me. I've had some people tell me that I've given them a reason to come back, and it's always nice to hear that. I've heard some tell me that I inspired them to start cosplaying after they saw me cosplay as whatever I was that day I welcomed them into the store (AKA my bat cave). I just received this from a friendly lady I helped during the Halloween season. I helped her prepare her Minnie Mouse costume, and I remember her so well, just as I remember the majority of the people I help. I honestly didn't expect her to come back to give me a gift, but it seriously made my day and made me love my job even more. I don't even know if she's aware of how much I love Candy Corns and how much I love collecting pens!!! I really wanted to thank you, Carmen! I am so glad I was able to somehow impact your day. It means so much to me! I really hope you come by again when I'm working so I can thank you personally.
