Hiii!
You got me curious and now I have to ask. What are your all time favourite kdramas? Or the ones that you would recommend without hesitation?
Have a great day! ♥️
Thank you for waiting for me to compile my thoughts, choosing dramas that mean a lot to me isn't easy. But here are the ones I enjoyed and aren't talked about enough:
Encounter: Subversion of popular tropes will always be more interesting to watch. Here we have a heroine as the isolated CEO and male lead as the sweetest man to exist, sweeping her off her feet with adventures while completely respecting her position. Song Hyo Kyo gives a subtle but excellent performance, which made me love her acting way before she cemented it with The Glory
Guardians/ Lookout: I can't believe this wasn't as popular as Vincenzo, cause it damn deserves it. It's a story about blood-filled revenge, but from a woman who uses her pain to serve other people. Lee Si Young is phenomenal.
I Need Romance 3: Kim So Yeon can do anything, but seeing her as a careless 30-something as executive with a pet giraffe and a closed heart did something to me. She's the most imperfect, funnily relatable, brass and interesting. She just needed the annoying kid she used to babysit -now turned hot musician- to unlock her loving side. Sung Joon is the hottest a man has ever been.
Something In The Rain: Take all the societal problems Korean women are facing and weave a precious love story around it. It should be impossible, but they've made it work. The show excels in its depictions of casual intimacy, work life and friendships, nothing is exaggerated for effect. It flows through you like a song. And the ending wasn't bad, if you expected a fairytale you should grow up. It's a horrible reality, wherein lies love.
Search WWW: the ultimate story about women. This made me love kdramas. Three main players whose agendas clash with their ethics in the war of capitalism and surveillance. Three love stories, each hitting different strings. The ultimate modern classic. Memeable to death.
Ms Perfect and Woman of Dignity: it's not accurate to put these two together, but they represent the best that makjang has to offer. They're truly about how a woman finds her voice after being betrayed and how to take revenge on the people you thought had your back. And find a hotter man in the process.
The Penthouse: all its success made people forget it had the tightest script for two seasons. The writing was unmatched. It gave me my genius revenge queen Su Ryeon, who ran circles around every opponent, while keeping her warm heart and kindness intact. Don't watch the last three episodes, but other than that, it deserves its spot on the drama pantheon. The sweetest unexpected romance as well.
Honorable mentions:
Flower of evil
Weightlifting Fairy
Romance Is A Bonus Book
She Would Never Know
Why Her
Melancholia
Witch's Romance
Branding in Seongsu
I had to keep it to korean dramas, but I've watched japanese, thai and chinese as well, for another time.
Thank you for the question @troubled-mind, you made me revisit my love for these

sorry to barge into your inbox, but I'd love to hear your take on Ibuki's childhood!
No need to apologize! My inbox is always open, especially for those who want to talk about Best Character.
So I just reread what I wrote for my friend (shout-out to @specificyeetcapacity !) and I should clarify: what I wrote is her life story before HPA. Not strictly about her childhood, per se, but it does include it! Gonna put it all under a Read More.
Here's a vision I have of how Ibuki Mioda grew into her current self ...
She was always a free spirit as a kid. Chipper, energetic, and friendly. She was always well-liked among her classmates just for being herself. Her parents tolerated it, and they nurtured her various phases until an interest in music won out, but they believed she'd grow out of it. They were firm about it. So were her teachers, less enthused about her individuality, and so were other authority figures in her life.
And she learned. Going into whatever is the Japanese equivalent of middle school, she tamped down her impulses in front of others, fitting in like a big girl should. But there was always music, and perhaps it was that withheld desire to express herself that fueled her hours of daily practice. Then came the band: she and a few like-minded girls found each other, jammed for fun, and realized that they're actually pretty good (especially Ibuki). They got serious.
Sometimes, it takes years. Sometimes, it just takes one viral video of one performance, starring a guitarist who, though fairly composed, can't contain her near-virtuosity with her instrument nor her exuberance. (Think of that Nyango Cat drummer video.) Suddenly, record deal. Hit singles. Nationwide tour. All in quick succession. The band becomes the hottest name in light music, a rep that only gets boosted when management promotes them as being in competition with another band comprised of all boys.
But Ibuki doesn't mind that other band - she digs their music. This whole battle of the sexes thing is ... phony. But her group sees the perks and plays into it, so Ibuki must too. Can't stand out, remember? Gotta be a team player, follow the crowd, and that's how you find success. Then Ibuki’s tastes lead her away from light music and toward a heavier sound. But she can't explore it - light music is their forte, their bread and butter! Don't mess with the money, don't mess with the formula, just dial down the Ibuki a little and keep strumming your silly songs! Doesn't she care about unity?
Yes. She does. A band needs a sense of unity to achieve harmony and reach their goals, and without it, they'll spend more time squabbling instead of making music. So, at the height of their fame, she leaves the band.
It's the hardest thing she's ever done. Never mind the challenges of going solo, which have taken down many a frontperson with way more years and experience. She connected with her bandmates, her friends, more than anyone before, and she severed that very connection herself. But then, they weren't letting her be herself. Maybe they never got to know who she really is, because she had to tone it down for the sake of ... who? Not herself, now that she thinks of it. For all the fun she had, for all the success she achieved, it also brought her a lot of pain. No matter what, not everyone will like her or vibe with her. Even when she tries to be someone different.
Then she receives a priceless recognition of her talent. Hope's Peak Academy extends her an invitation to join the student body as the Ultimate ... Light Musician. Well, she won't say no to the invite. Buuut she won't keep pretending to be something she's not. They won't get the Ultimate Light Musician. They'll get Ibuki Mioda, the maniac metalhead with devil horn hair, abrasive tunes about things like teen pregnancy, and a whole lotta personality.
She's as sweet and energetic as in her kid days. Maybe more so after the way some people have treated her, giving her an even greater empathy along with some sharper powers of observation. What's changed is just changing back to being unapologetically herself ...
Even if she does get lonely sometimes.
Thanks for asking for my take! I'd be happy to hear what you think as well. Feel free any time to barge into my inbox or message me :3

Fillmore District: ‘Harlem of the West’ - The Glory Days of the San Francisco Jazz Scene
San Francisco’s Fillmore District used to be one of the hottest nightlife spots in the country. Hip as jazz, cool as the blues, sexy like the R&B music bursting from its bars and clubs, the ‘Mo was the place to be in the 1940s and 50s. Duke Ellington? Check. Ella? Yup. T-Bone Walker? He was a regular at the Texas Playhouse on Fillmore and Sutter. The neighborhood was a bastion of Black culture on the west coast. Like NYC’s Harlem, where a renaissance of Black music and art had emerged in the 1920s, the Fillmore showcased a cultural utopia by and for African Americans two decades later.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/80464bed3a5dc2606d792b023f27d5b2/3f0bc99a8a69628a-41/s540x810/671add213c2d40832b7c36900887cf67e28a4c6d.jpg)
“Music in the Fillmore was organic. In the air. It was from the community and belonged to the community. You can’t look at the neighborhood without looking at the music that was coming from the people who lived there.”
— Wayne Wallace, musician
During World War II, the Fillmore became a hub for thousands of southern transplants lured to the Bay Area by the promise of jobs in the Kaiser shipyards across the bay in Richmond. They joined an already sizable community of Black San Franciscans and ethnic Japanese who’d decamped from Chinatown to the area near Geary and Fillmore Streets after the 1906 earthquake. In 1942, when the entire population of Japan Town was effectively evicted by forced internment, Black southerners took their place in the quickly crowding city. Young people with good jobs meant money to spend on fun, and the Fillmore’s already established entertainment sector took off like wildfire. Before long, the street was a blitz of nightclubs and late night eateries, record shops and shoe stores catering to the growing post-war middle class.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/23f254bc5d069a9116f7d6c35ee60892/3f0bc99a8a69628a-e3/s540x810/0ac22457010c4dc0a5db7dd6c9eabbe794927b36.jpg)
“Walking down Fillmore Street with my friends was so cool. There were movie theaters. Soul food restaurants. Pool halls. A bowling alley and a roller skating rink. You walked by different doorways, and you started to hear doo-wop. In the middle of the afternoon, these guys are cutting it up, singing in the doorway because the marble floor gives a better sound.”
— Steve Nakajo
In 1953, the Western Addition Project would begin by transforming two-lane Geary Street into a wider boulevard in an effort to ease movement to and from the city’s Richmond district. Eventually the project would subsume hundreds of city blocks in the neighborhoods west of City Hall, uprooting thousands of residents and turning what had been one of post-earthquake San Francisco’s main commercial districts into a veritable ghost town. By the late 1960s, all but a few of the great Fillmore music clubs were gone.
“The entertainment world for African Americans virtually ceased to exist in San Francisco. The great life that was Harlem-ish was destroyed by the redevelopment process. It was a blow to African Americans, a blow from which we frankly have never really recovered.”
—Willie Brown, former mayor of San Francisco

A Brief History of Black San Francisco
San Francisco's reputation as one of America's most ethnically diverse cities is in question as its African Americans population erodes. In 1990, 11% of city residents were Black. Now that number is just 6% and is expected to drop below 4% by 2020.
Black San Francisco's numbers were low until the early 1940s, when workers began coming to work in the city's shipyards from places like Louisiana, Texas, and Arkansas. Before the 1940s surge, Black San Francisco's numbers were so low that there was a running joke that if you were Black, you probably knew all the Black folks in the city.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/15435f451f67a30c5d9cd0a7914a202c/3f0bc99a8a69628a-c0/s540x810/1fa8b2e04ffda6b9c7f2c2c2b2054555cb6db064.jpg)
Newcomers from the South replaced Japanese Americans who were forcibly interned during World War II. After the war ended, the city's Black population continued to climb as workers remained in the city and developed roots. But the city's newcomers were limited in where they could live due to discriminatory housing policy and restrictive covenants written into property titles that did not allow African Americans the chance to live in other parts of the city.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/2e1e8b200927e11241cfadf677a83850/3f0bc99a8a69628a-bc/s500x750/760ca0980e8a32d8a8c5a6bc939c55ec1cda9409.jpg)
The Fillmore District became Black San Francisco's cultural and economic heart. It became known as the "Harlem of the West," as all of the era's major artists performed in the neighborhood's venues. The list includes Count Basie, Etta James, Thelonious Monk, and Duke Ellington. But the Fillmore began changing after the war ended as federal redevelopment projects demolished many of the neighborhood's homes and businesses. Many residents relocated to Bayview and Hunters Point.
Restrictive covenants were outlawed under the Fair Housing Act of 1968, but by this point there were few incentives for Black Americans to stick around San Francisco, and many moved out to Oakland where a Black middle class came to flourish.
Some of those who stayed in San Francisco fought for better living and employment standards. An important group of activists during this period was the Big Five: five women activists who demanded more resources for Bayview and Hunters Point from city officials. One member of the group was Eloise Westbrook.

The Queen of San Francisco: Leola King and the “Harlem of the West”
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/696737a1e7f7e13bacdc874cff8f55fe/3f0bc99a8a69628a-ae/s540x810/4c33fdffab4b71867ae4cb6844d5cee6ae41b8e5.jpg)
Once upon a time, San Francisco had its own Harlem, and this Harlem had a queen. A “fast-talking,” “show-me-what-you-can-do” woman, one-part glamour and a million parts grit. Her name was Leola King and she got her start running a barbeque pit at 1601 Geary Street. An homage to King’s native Oklahoma, it was built out of a log cabin and featured a fifty-foot smoke pit. The menu included smoked buffalo, deer, and quail.
How popular was Oklahoma King’s? Judging from the swanky Scott Street mansion Leola King eventually bought herself, it wasn’t just popular, it was epic.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/18432f4c28757b070b041399cb9742aa/3f0bc99a8a69628a-e3/s540x810/21c3044f3efa96630a85e6a8cc8a7e6073bc3996.jpg)
Leola King and her mother in her Scott Street mansion.
Then one day she turned up to open the restaurant and saw that Oklahoma King’s had been laid to waste. Turns out the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency was fed up with trying to get King to sell her property. The restaurant was one of countless homes and businesses bulldozed into oblivion by the “urban renewal” projects that decimated the Fillmore jazz scene and eventually drove out the City’s African American community.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/222f9972c69f16c7966af43d48c1f2c4/3f0bc99a8a69628a-4e/s540x810/9fc7bf0877d84280fca82e602597033e8d92ca7a.jpg)
Leola King rallied—as phenomenal women will do. The Blue Mirror, King’s new club at 935 Fillmore Street, was small, but like its owner, it packed a mighty punch. Lena Horne, Ray Charles, Duke Ellington, Count Basie and Cab Calloway were just a few musicians that passed through King’s place. And Josephine Baker, Nat “King” Cole, Elizabeth Taylor and Sugar Ray Robinson? Oh, they were all her friends.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/a4e068b2dfbe3209c9a6c98a81934db0/3f0bc99a8a69628a-a6/s540x810/41a8db3d35f32a026fe1e26479304f9dd0b04f9e.jpg)
Josephine Baker, an unidentified man and Leola King
And then the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency came a second time. She built another jazz palace. That was stolen too. She built another one. Gone, like the rest. The last time, King refused to go quietly; she was forcibly removed by the sheriff. She spent the next quarter-century fighting for just compensation. She didn’t win, but when Leola King died in 2013, she died fighting.
Lance Burton, who grew up in the Fillmore and knew King in her heyday, wrote this about her in 2015: “Mrs. King was like a big movie star to many of us, a star who brought some very bright moments to our community—maybe the most golden period of years ever to have been seen in San Francisco.”

Hypnosis Microphone
Ren’s Microphone is a black microphone on a stand, the microphone itself is red in color while the stand is black. A metal chain is wrapped around the stand and goes down to the bottom of the stand where an array of skulls and roses encircle the bottom of the stand, both the skulls and roses seem to be splattered with a red liquid that looks suspiciously like blood.
His Speaker takes the form of a giant human heart that still beats even when idle, one singular round speaker placed in the center of it. On each side are skulls that are as big as the heart, the empty eye sockets are replaced with roses and the mouths are opened to reveal large speakers inside.
His rap ability, Saccharine Lullaby, allows him to put his opponents in a deep, soothed, trance like state, rendering them powerless and open to attack.
Ren’s raps are based around how protective he is over his friends, family, and city. How much he longs to be with his darling muse and how he’ll viciously and explicitly torture and maim anyone who gets in between them.
Personality
Ren, when he is not in his stage persona, is a pretty laidback and chill guy. He’s easy to get along with and is friendly with others, it’s hard not to get along with him. Even though he likes to joke around and tease his friends, Ren tends to act more like an older brother, especially towards those younger than him, he honestly can’t help it, it’s mainly due to practically raising his younger siblings. As nice as he is, Ren does have his sarcastic and witty moments, he can dish out as much as he can take it, which is a lot by the way, it’s usually all in good fun but when push come to shove, he can and will verbally cut somebody down.
As his stage persona, ‘Vox’, his personality takes a bit of a turn. He becomes way more teasing, a bit mean, and quite sadistic. He moves with high confidence and complete swagger, he also becomes a lot more seductive, his heartthrob tendencies really shining through whenever he’s performing or interacting with fans. Overall, it’s the complete “bad boy” persona but with how well Ren acts the part, one has to ask which is personality is real and which is the mask?
Only Max and Kaiji know this but Ren is quite obsessive, once he sets his eyes on something or someone, it’s all he can talk and think about. He makes it his personal mission to learn everything about his object of interest/affection, even the parts that most would find useless and not worth leaning, Ren would find it the most remarkable thing he ever heard. While it might not seem strange at first, the more he learns, the more obsessive he gets and that’s when things get dangerous…
Background
Coming Soon.
Trivia
Ren actually suffers from Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), his alter is none other than his music alter ego, Vox but he is currently unaware of his condition due to him never being diagnosed.
Ren got scouted by a talent agency when he was 17, he used to play acoustic in bars and cafes as a way to make money.
His siblings got him the guitar he’s always seen with after his first concert. He calls it Cherry and treasures it deeply.
He’s fluent in Chinese, English, Korean, Spanish, and Tagalog
He’s collaborated with many bands and idols, the most popular one being his collaboration with the band, 86.
He has many fans and fan clubs as a result of his fame but Ren hardly pays attention to them, sure he’s grateful for their support but he only has eyes for one person.
Ren is the most stable in the group…which is not saying a lot.

(interview) vogue korea april issue 2020 - perfect taemin
1. superm was another chance for taemin’s ever-evolving performance to be showcased. i thought a lot about how to create synergy with these exceptional performers. to put it simply, i wanted us to come off as energetic. but these days i’ve had a change of heart. our identity is definitely important. rather than just working hard, for superm to show off their colours well we need to show our personalities; we should be seen as one team. to be able to formulate a solid and clear colour is our homework. that’s why it’s regrettable. we couldn’t come up with a novel choreography to carry our new identity. we tried a lot in the practice room. superm seems to have found its musical identity but hasn’t gotten a hold of its performance character yet. the stages are too vague. 2. now that you are finally promoting with your best friend kai in one group, you two must’ve shared your concerns. since this friend is someone who has a lot of passion and ambition, he talks about various things. for instance, this style is pretty good, this choreography is quite trendy. thanks to him i’ve learned a lot. he is also very knowledgeable about the latest ‘hottest’ genres. we talk about these things often and even watch videos together. kai gives off ‘popular’ vibes. compared to him, my interests are quite unusual. nowadays kai is interested in music while i am into science. 3. is it science fiction? these days we’ve been watching videos on the theory of relativity and quantum mechanics together. 4. what aspect of it interested you? originally i was very curious, after seeing a recommended video on youtube i learned about quantum mechanics for the first time. i couldn’t understand the explanation, even those who were explaining it said it was a difficult concept. that was very fascinating to me. kind of like magic. 5. are you reading books on the subject too? the subjects of the books i read are different (laughs). there’s a book that was published long ago called ‘regarding the pain of others.’ it is a pessimistic book that gathers contradictory opinions of people for instance ‘people find joy in the pain of others, it is instinctual.’ as a celebrity, there are times when you are criticized but there are also times when you receive comfort from people. rather than blaming others, while reading this book, i began to think ‘people are like that, at most i shouldn’t behave like them.’ my interests are all over the place. 6. what makes you and kai click? we converse well. our opinions almost never clash and we respect each other. moreover, we fully understand our own roles in superm. 7. what position do you hold in superm? since i can’t ask if it’s the main dancer. in pictures and interviews, i’m the center. baekhyun hyung is the leader (laughs). 8. when the conversation wasn’t flowing well during the talkshow interview, i saw you neatly concluding it. that does happen. nct and wayv are still in the learning phase. that’s why i first listen to all of their thoughts during interviews then flesh it out with details later. 9. compared to when you set out abroad as shinee then promoting overseas as superm now, the status of k-pop has changed. looking at how superm was able to start off with an arena tour in the us and europe made me feel that k-pop is a ‘hot’ topic. in the past, we’d use venues of this scale for smtown concerts. even if you promote mainly in asia, seeing the audience section will make you realise the perception of k-pop has changed. 10. though k-pop’s scope has expanded and diversified, its definition has become simple. what are your concerns? my first concern is language. after i was able to communicate via language during my japanese activities, there were so many advantages. though each country overseas has its own language, i felt that i needed to learn english first. there are many international fans who want to experience the chemistry between our members, they’d feel much closer to us if we communicated using (a common) language. k-pop isn’t one dimensional. it’s not only about the music, there is music video, style, etc. included. people would make dance covers in the past, now they even emulate the styling. all of this is korean pop culture. 11. superm were on the ellen degeneres show and jimmy kimmel live. before we went on the ellen show we really rehearsed the interview a lot. america’s atmosphere is different so you receive questions that are never asked in korea. they don’t disclose the questions in advance either. we were also worried because the emcee could ad-lib. we came up with the most probable questions and practiced, we also received lessons from american comedians. compared to that, we went on jimmy kimmel live without any prep. 12. what went according to plan and what didn’t? the questions were not as intense as expected, ellen was well aware about k-pop culture so it went smoothly. 13. is there a dance genre you’re into these days? contemporary, lyrical hiphop, in the future as superm i think i’ll be able to show more, not the kind of dancing that you do after learning a given choreography but the kind that is full of emotions. it’s about giving meaning to your gestures. it isn’t out yet but my concert vcr features lyrical hiphop. in it i think i’m dancing alone with a giant full moon as my backdrop but get confused when there are two of us, either it’s another person or a shadow. a choreographer with a body type similar to mine had to dress in all black to come across as my shadow. i wore an oriental outfit with smokey makeup. 14. how do you usually come up with your ideas? i get inspired by the choreographers and creative directors. i imagine it as we converse then the idea develops. 15. was there a time you were inspired by fashion? of course. art begins with the five senses. what you see with your eyes, the things you can feel, clothes, food, perfume, music that you listen to are all sources of inspiration. i create private accounts to follow fashion brands. 16. having debuted at the age of 16, you are still young but your work experience has been long. i was in certain situations because of this. it doesn’t happen as often now but even in my early 20s, i completely belonged to the senior category at broadcasting stations. they are my juniors but many of them are also hyungs, i’m their senior but i’m also the youngest. now there are even staff members who are younger than me. they’re too formal with me (laughs). 17. are there juniors that ask you for advice or help? the superm members! especially ten, he is very curious. when we come out of a company meeting, he’ll get surprised and say “wow, hyung everything you said was right.” i even hear things like ‘veteran’ and ‘seer.’ apparently my predictions come true. but i try not to advise them as much. taking the initiative to say something feels overwhelming. 18. born in 1993 between millennials and gen z, do you share any characteristics with those in your age bracket? we’ve picked out a few of their traits. the first one is ‘they don’t eat fast food.’ me too! i took care of my health well ever since i started out with shinee. i was brainwashed from home to avoid foods that harmed the body. not even ramyeon, snacks were also banned. and just like that in my 20s i started carrying out the regime on my own. it’s become a habit to look after my health ever since i moved out. i always eat things that are good for my body, if the hyungs are taking vitamins, i’d ask for one too. 19. i suddenly recall a variety show where you were the only one who skipped the sauce and ate the meat on its own! one should not eat irritable foods. my mother’s words. 20. how about ‘they watch videos on youtube rather than tv. even the ads don’t particularly bother them.’ that’s right. i watch youtube more often than tv, while watching the ads i'd even marvel at their production quality. i’ve signed up for the premium package now so i don’t see the ads anymore. 21. ‘marrying or wanting to buy their own house.’ i currently live alone and i have no interest in decking out my house. at first, i didn’t think like that but a month later my interest dissipated. i’m lazy. it’s not like my house is for others to see, i’m fine with the incomplete feeling for now. 22. and finally ‘they avoid investing in financial companies.’ i don’t do that. my parents manage that, if there’s a good tip i’ll just let them know. 23. hiphop musicians tend to express their success through music. as an idol musician how have you been using the wealth you accumulated all these years? i invest in food instead of saving up (laughs). honestly, i don’t spend much. i don’t have anything i want. though i do spend on others a lot. 24. what kind of household did you grow up in? what gifts did you inherit from your family as a musician? i inherited my body type. all of my cousins have model-like physiques, they’re taller and slimmer than me. my mother sings well. my father plays instruments as a hobby. oh, and my paternal aunt used to be a ballerina. so perhaps i inherited such genes? 25. you’ve been doing the same thing for more than 10 years. what is the purpose behind creating music and showcasing it? in the past, i would think i should do well, i need to be number one, these days i’ve become ambitious for other aspects. i take pride in the fact that my work supplies others with positive energy. i feel a sense of accomplishment when fans like my music, i want to make them as happy as i am. everyone’s profession is different but i hope this synergy gained from mutual dependence leaves a good impression. 26. are you still composing songs? i used to but now i only participate in lyric writing. it differs with each song, at times the lyrics are emotional or talk about abstract love. it seems like my next solo album will include a song i wrote the lyrics to. sometimes songs composed by overseas composers might prove too difficult for the general public to understand. so i participate a lot in the arrangement or mixing phase. i point out the parts that should be added to the composition and those that are unneeded. teacher lee soo man does give advice but it often feels like i do the producing of my own solo album. 27. taemin’s originality is the clearest when he promotes as a solo artist. which song has best represented your identity? i worked hard on all of them but there was a turning point. at first there was ‘danger’ then ‘press your number’ was a conceptual performance, the transition to ‘move’ turned out well. i wanted to break out from the typical choreography routine and create my own identity, the resulting performances were ‘move’ and ‘want.’ my next solo album is again different. i’ve been making a lot of changes these days. 28. you seem to have high standards when it comes to composing music. was there ever an occasion where you absolutely refused to compromise and gave others a hard time? everyone is used to it (laughs). it’s something i learned from the head manager hyung who’s been with me since debut. the belief that ‘there is nothing that can’t be done. there is no such thing as impossible.’ another team manager hyung would tell me ‘you remind me of our head’ (laughs). honestly, the staff around me work beyond their given roles and with affection. normally work timings are from 9 to 7, they stay back till 10-11 pm for me. they don’t hold it against me, and when things do well, they too feel a sense of fulfillment together with me. 29. the new unreleased song must be quite different from the original then. there are already 12 versions of the song. when i thought we were somewhat done, we recently started arranging it again (laughs). 30. you hold your body to specific standards for the best performance outcome. i don’t ‘bulk up.’ previously, i used to work out when i ate a lot but my body would feel weighed down, it wasn’t what i wanted. if i gain a lot of muscles or become thick, it hampers my dancing form. that’s why i don’t put on weight. i train my stamina and strength and avoid bulking up my shoulders and arms. 31. by the way, do you do neck exercises as well? i was touched looking at your long neck in the vogue photoshoot. i had been noticing this too, now i know the reason! i think it’s because i dance. a lot of resistance goes into the neck when you dance. our head is the heaviest and it’s the neck that supports it. it goes away when i rest for a few days. we’re shooting amidst the superm tour maybe that’s why it looks thicker now. 32. an editor who has been watching you closely for a long time said that you’ve become extroverted. could it be that experience and relationships have made you comfortable and secure? i’ve lowered my guard. i couldn’t reveal my current self to others before. as a child i used to be so introverted that i’d hide behind my mother when strangers would get into the elevator. i changed with time. 33. is your ever-present smile a product of your personality or just business decorum? i’m always smiling. i even laugh at things other people don’t find funny (laughs). 34. shinee members are currently serving in the army. when they’re on break what kind of advice or nagging do they subject you to? i wish they would do that. we have a group chat on kakaotalk and i always revive it by asking “what’s up” “happy new year.” but as soon as the conversation picks up they only talk about the army. when i inform them about an issue at the company they say “really?” then it’s military talk again. when i feel left out and tell them to stop, they reply with “you’ll understand when you get here.” 35. in your career as a musician, when do you feel the best? when it’s time to reveal all that i’ve been preparing for so long! it feels different from finishing it. the first stage after debuting, shinee’s first concert, performing at tokyo dome, receiving the award... these are the moments that come to mind. 36. watching taemin grow for the past decade has been a huge source of strength. what are your dreams now? there are many. first of all, once shinee comes back again, i want the entire group to give off a feeling of revival. usually after getting discharged, it’s hard to keep up with the next generation, i want to avoid that. i’ve imagined it all when the shinee members return. second, i want to perform a lot on various stages as a solo artist. superm topped the billboard 200 album chart, it’d be nice to enter the top 10 on the hot 100 digital chart as well. 37. you are really talented at setting goals. i’ve gotten greedier. it’s just not for myself but i want to do it for the fans and members, even the staff. they become my driving force. i really am lucky. everybody works hard but i even get the recognition for it. come to think of it, i was given many opportunities and i worked hard to make the most of them, i’m really happy my efforts paid off in the end. i’m surrounded by good people. shinee, superm, many people fill in the gaps for me that i can’t solve on my own. 38. superm’s concert title is ‘we are the future.’ when you hear the word ‘future’ what are you reminded of? first, it’s h.o.t. (laughs). future-oriented things come to mind like artificial intelligence, drones, 3d hologram concerts. then again, in the future, though people might be able to watch concerts through holograms, i think humans will not give up on the tasks they themselves can do. my work will still be the same in the future. 39. the reason you don’t write anything on instagram. i don’t have anything to say yet (laughs). i don’t know if i should make my instagram cool or approachable. when fretting between writing a caption or using an emoticon, i just end up leaving it blank. actually i signed up after my manager hyung suggested that instagram would be good. so i’ve made one but i still don’t know what to upload. i get teased by the people around me for putting up selfies. i even took lots of pictures especially for instagram but... 40. did you not post the pictures? the point of instagram is real-time communication. is that so! i didn’t know (laughs).

cardcaptor sakura: boy band au #1
so, a while back, in the midst of a DEEP dive into BTS, @swingsdown and i brainstormed a stupidly indulgent CCS boy band AU which i’ve written in bits and pieces over the last few months for fun. i don’t plan to do much with it, but i thought it’d be fun to post little bits of it here as it gets written.
below is the rundown:
touya, yukito, eriol, syaoran, and yamazaki make up japan’s hottest boy group, CLOW, a group that has smashed regional and global records, amassed a cult-like legion of fans, and reached new peaks of success with every comeback they stage. beyond good looks, catchy music, and charming personalities, the group captures the hearts of fans with what appears to be genuine brotherhood and love for each other both on- and off-camera. but just when it looks like they can’t fly any higher, yukito, the glue of the group, abruptly leaves, and everything is at risk of falling apart.
these are non-chronological vignettes of the band’s time together, both while yukito is with them and after he leaves as they try to stage a return to the music world.
[see below for descriptions of the boys’ roles in the band, etc. + first vignette]
navigation:
[intro & post-yukito #1] [post-yukito #2] [post-yukito #3]| [during yukito #1]
-touya: rapper/singer, 26, group leader, trainee for longest (6 years--15 to 21) because he didn’t have any proper musical training when he auditioned; wanted to become a musician to help make ends meet for his family. best rapper, ok singer, worst dancer. Is friendly enough for an idol but a little stoic but has lots of fans because he’s very good looking
-yamazaki: rapper/singer, 24, exceptionally good dancer and ok rapper, relatively terrible singer but had to take vocal lessons to improve after yukito left to help fill the gap; never fights with anyone, chaotic energy at almost all times, known for his smiley eyes; known for weirdly high iq
-eriol: singer, 22, classically trained/very good vocalist, TERRIBLE rapper, pretty good dancer, calmest/most polite out of the group, best “face of the group,” known for classic good looks, comes from rich family, bff/roomies with syaoran
-syaoran: singer, 22, second best vocalist behind eriol, not good rapper, pretty good dancer, sometimes gets called “mini touya” because they’re both a little surly and look alike (and is popular despite stoicism/attitude bc he’s cute), hardest on himself and known to be a perfectionist, bff/roomies with eriol, auditioned through global casting in hong kong, had to learn japanese, english, and korean in training
-their fans unironically call themselves “CLOWn.”
-this is modeled much more after kpop boy groups/the kpop system in general, which i know is quite different from the jpop scene.

[post-yukito #1]
Syaoran watched, holding his breath, as the cameraman counted down with his fingers from three for their cue. At zero, he bowed in perfect unison with his bandmates, rising back up with a practiced smile. Yukito had taught him that the eyes mattered the most--if they don’t crinkle a little, people won’t think it’s genuine, he’d said. Syaoran squeezed the muscles around his cheeks just a little bit tighter and swallowed back bile. He felt Yamazaki squeeze his elbow to his left, and realizing how tense his shoulders were, he took in a breath and tried to force himself to relax.
“Hello, we’re CLOW,” he chorused with the group, and he threw up a v-sign with his fingers, maintaining the fake-genuine smile. Yukito would have been to his right if he’d been here, and he tried not to think about how painfully naked his right shoulder felt. They’d been preparing for this for months, and even so, everything about this situation suddenly felt horribly wrong.
“Hi, CLOW!” the host, a chipper young woman with bright blue hair and purple contact lenses who’d recently made her solo debut a few months ago, exclaimed, turning briefly to them before facing the camera again.
Syaoran briefly recalled the first time they’d been on this particular concert pre-show; it had been three weeks into their debut, and he’d been so nervous that he could hardly see straight. The interviewer then had been a young man, a fellow idol singer doing a three-month stint as the host for the show, and when the host had held the mic up to Syaoran’s face, he’d been totally speechless, his voice shot from nerves. His whole group--Eriol in particular--had given him hell about it for weeks afterward. Even Yukito, in all his sweet earnestness, had given him some good-natured ribbing about it. Only Touya had refrained, for one reason or another.
“Today is a very exciting day--your first comeback in over six months with your new single, LOVETORN!” the host said, turning towards Touya. “Tell us, how are you feeling?”
Touya leaned into the mic, facing the camera and wearing a convincingly charming grin. “It feels amazing. We are so happy to be able to provide new music for our fans, who have been so loving and wonderful while we’ve been on our break. We only hope that our fans love the single with as much love as we poured into making it.”
“Well, within twenty-four hours of the music video’s release on YouTube, it already hit 70 million views, so I think we can say with certainty that your fans love the single!” the host chirped. “Can you tell us what the meaning behind this song is?”
Syaoran was relieved the mic did not go to him for this question; he’d have had a difficult time not rolling his eyes. The meaning was pretty clear, he thought. It was a song about wanting someone back. Touya and the producers had decided to capitalize off of the most painful moment in the band’s four-year history by writing a fucking song about the departure of the one member that had truly held the team together.
Eriol, predictably, was a little more diplomatic in his response, for better or for worse. “Yes, it’s about the pain of being apart from your loved one for a prolonged period of time and life not being the same without them,” he said into the mic. He pushed up his glasses. “In our case, it’s about us being separated from our beloved CLOWNs for so long and wanting desperately to be reunited. And here we are today.”
The host smiled. “Such a sad song, but you’re all so happy to be here! How are you going to emote something so painful onstage?”
It was Syaoran’s turn to speak. All eyes were on him now, and taking an imperceptible half-second to compose himself, he turned on his megawatt smile once more. “It’s quite simple, really. We’ll just think about the times that inspired us to write this song in the first place. All the hardships, all the heartache--we’ll bring it all back onstage. And to that end,” he said, looking directly into the camera, “we’ve missed you very much.”
He hoped Yukito was watching, even though he knew he wasn’t.
“That is lovely, and we can’t wait to see you perform. Yamazaki, would you like to kick off the performance?”
Yamazaki stuck his face into the camera with a wide grin. “Absolutely. You’re watching Music Centre, and get ready for CLOW’s comeback with our new single, LOVETORN, in three, two, one!”
“Cut!” The director shouted, and the cameras stopped rolling. “Great job, everyone. I love when we get everything we need in one take--after all that time away, you really are true professionals.”
The group bowed, murmuring thanks, and shuffled backstage toward the dressing rooms.
“Good job, everyone,” Yoshiyuki Terada, the group’s manager, called, looking up from an iPad. “Take ten and then we’ll meet back here--you’re due onstage after this next performance.”
Syaoran made it into the dressing room first, and immediately, he grabbed his headphones out of the pocket of his hoodie hanging from the door and shoved them into his ears. The last thing he wanted to do right now was reflect with the band on that painful interview--not right before they had to go outside and bear their souls to the world for a four-minute performance. Just as he sat down on one of the sofas, though, he felt one of the earbuds being plucked out of his ear.
He looked up indignantly to see Touya holding the earbud, who was staring down at him with his lips drawn into a disapproving frown. “Quick team meeting.”
Syaoran scowled, but he turned around and leaned the front of his torso against the back of the sofa to face the rest of the group.
“Okay, guys,” Touya said, leaning against the vanity and crossing his arms. “First live performance of our comeback. How are we feeling?”
“Pretty good, now that the interview’s over,” Eriol said with a sigh. He reached down toward the floor to stretch his legs. “That was the hardest part for me.”
Yamazaki nodded. “Now that we don’t have to talk, I feel fine. It’s just a matter of doing what we’ve been practicing for the last two months now. It’s all muscle memory from here!”
Touya glanced at Syaoran next. Syaoran glared at him for a moment, but then he met Eriol’s softer gaze, and he deflated a little. “I’m--I’ll be fine. I’m not nervous.”
Touya pursed his lips. “You know that’s not what I’m asking.”
“I know.” Syaoran swallowed. “But I don’t know what else I can say.”
Touya regarded him in silence for a moment, and Syaoran knew without looking that Eriol and Yamazaki were watching the exchange with bated breath. Much to Syaoran’s relief, Touya let out a sigh and shrugged his shoulders. “Okay. Let’s do a good job out there tonight. No mistakes. The choreography on this is a little different from what we’re used to, so everyone needs to be in the exact right place at the exact right time.”
Of course it’s different. We’re missing a fifth body.
“How about you, Touya? How are you feeling?” Yamazaki asked, fiddling with the zipper on one of his many pant pockets.
Touya exhaled softly, and for the first time all night, he raised the corners of his lips in a small smile. “I’m okay. This feels right.”
It didn’t, though, Syaoran thought. Nothing felt right. But his bandmates were clearly so excited to be performing again, Yukito or no, and he wasn’t going to ruin that for them just because he didn’t feel ready.
“All right, guys, bring it in,” Touya said, holding out his hand. Eriol, Yamazaki, and Syaoran joined. “On three, CLOW. One, two, three--”
“CLOW!” the four of them chimed, and Syaoran followed Touya out of the dressing room and back toward the stage.

By The Way - Part 2
After weeks of touring you met him again. But this time you both are aware of the tension with each other. And that's when a small second changed everything.
Warnings: smut, fluff, mentions of sex, language, sexy times
Your tour started in American and went on to Asia. You just landed in Tokio the last concert in asia. It was your eight's time in the country and still you cannot help but gosh over everything. Tokio itself was one of your favourite places to visit in march during Sakura but your Tourschedule this time only allowed to visit it in January. You decided to stay for another week until leaving for Europe afterwards. Soon after landing you had to directly drive to some photoshoots and an interview to your new film and album. There wasn't any time to relax the next two days as tomorrow was the big Tokio Concert.
At those beautiful days which allow you to fully feel the stardom which came with all the work you both loved it but missed your friends and family and someone to hold you in the evenings. You haven't had a relationship for over half a year since the split of your last relationship. The media always made you up with your co-stars or some other musicians which you were seen with during your collab for the new album but there never had been someone except Harry that one night. You cannot help but smile to yourself while thinking back to the moment your two bodies collided into each other and that moment afterward as harry told you how beautiful you are. It still gives you chills and a butterfly feeling in your stomach. "Berry, come one. Hurry up. We have to be at the Interview in half an hour and we didn't even started hair and make-up" Luna, your makeup artist and closest friend backstage demanded you. You were standing infront of the clothes which she picked out for you but the final decision what to wear was always loved to you. "Lunes I don't know" "What exactly don't you know? You have been somehow off for the whole last weeks." She leaned in to you and asked sceptically "Is there something I need to know Berenice Lopez? Did something happen to you?" "No, no Lunes...!" Luna didn't even believe you for one bit and raised a brow silently at you "Come on Luna, what's your problem. I am just off my thoughts the last weeks. I miss home and friends and stuff!" You managed to stutter to the girl who know you for so long you could tell she has becoming a good friend. "You need a man again!" "What?" "Urgently!" Luna turned on her heels and picked the golden jeans and a white shit witch a black blazer and held it infront of you. "Or if you want to borrow my little friend Carlos, just ask. Sometimes it can do magic, ya know?" "Carlos?" "Dios mios, my dildo Berry!" You screamed at Luna "Luna, you crazy piece of shit. You can't borrow me your dildo and what the fuck, why did you call him by a name?" You grapped the clothing from Luna's arm and started to dress up. "Because it always reminds me of Carlos. He was the best boyfriend I ever had. And you know...?" You sighed loud "I don't want to borrow something which is like your ex to you, oh good god!" Luna rolled her eyes at you and forced you down into the seat to do your hair. The both of your were smiling to each other within the morrow and soon cannot help but best out into laughter together.
***
The interviews went well and soon the evening got closer. You managed to make an Instagram story for your fans and post it just before you leave for your hotel. The nice thing in Tokio was the many people you knew. Your assistant tried to always book the same hotel. It was a small one in the city but run by a japanese family which welcomed you like their own family members and not hotel guests.
Soon as you were finished to head out to dinner with a pair of jeans, a black knitted pullover and a big red wool coat you hear your phone bing. A lot of fans reacted to your new photos and stories and a few messages were send to you. You weren't someone who had an assistant to run your Instagram account. You had fun answering fan question and do it by yourself. You ran through a few direct messages until one appeared which made your heart beat faster. Harry Styles
'You are in Tokio? How comes that I didn't knew 🤔?'
'Well hello to you too, yeah, tomorrow's the concert.'
'🙃 Nice! Maybe we can meet up afterwards. Been in Tokio for quite a few days and it will be nice to have a few common faces around. Besides I have missed you... '
You caught your breath. He is here? He misses you? You quickly checked his Instagram and saw a lot of photos from his time in Japan. He really seemed to have fun here. Being with friends eating some sushi or making music. You just realized how much you have missed thinking of Harry. Days after your first time together you had a so fully packed schedule that you didn't even had the time to ask James for his number to contact him. You felt his hands and his warmth weeks after having sex and your body urgently needed it again. You have been so desperate to see him again but at the same time so planned integrated that you knew it won't happen very soon, or ever again.
'Did you just asked for a date, Styles?😛'
'Call it what you want. You innit?'
'Si señor!' A grin flashed upon your face.
'You know what, If you could just give me your phone number I can talk to you more easily than via direct messages on Instagram :D'
You gave harry your number and within a few seconds he had called you. You two talked about everything what happened the last weeks. How excited you are to be in Japan. That you will leave for dinner soon and can't wait to eat sushi again. You talked about what took harry to Japan. You felt bad that it was because of a heartache. You knew that he just broked up with his girlfriend few weeks before your one night stand but it never came to your mind that you have have slept with each other because of that. It felt bad to not being there when he was so hurt. And now your night had a bitter taste but you didn't talk about that incident. It felt like you had been just two young agers who really adored listen to each others voiced on the phone. During talking you catch your assistants Marks in the lobby which almost seemed like a living room. You waved Mark and Luna hello while still on the phone. You never felt so good in weeks. Hearing Harry's voice on the phone made your whole body shake in happiness. Alone thinking of swing him again let your skin burn. "Alright Berenice, what was that call about and the better question with whom?!" Mark nearly shouted towards you while dramatically waving his hands upon your face like he had to raise you out of a dream. Luna just smirked towards you while you urgently begged her to say something. She knew exactly that she should help you and calm down Mark but she was too interested who it was on the phone to help you out. "It was a friend of mine. We didn't meet in a whole lotta time and it turned out that he is also in Tokio right now so we will meet tomorrow after the concert. You happy now?" You breathed out and stared at your two friends. Luna grinned like a mad cat "Finally, Berry gets to get fucked again." You where hit by surprise by Luna's words. "Lunes...you" "Gotta get you dressed right then tomorrow!" You just shook your head in desbeliefe but inside you really were happy to have your friend this time to share your heart with.
***
The dinner was fine, you got to laugh a lot. Luna took another selfie of you three and posted it with tagging you in. A lot of likes appeared directly. Also one of Harry. "Guess what? Harry Styles himself liked my photograph!" She said excited. "I never new that someone like him followed me." you almost choked on your cocktail and looked Luna and Mark deeply in the eyes hoping that they won't say another word. Mark sipped another time on his cocktail eyes still locked to you. "Is he the one?" "What?" You said hectically. "He is the one you talked to, isn't he?" Mark already knew the answer. He new you since 10 years now and he had gone with you through a lot of heartbreaks. So he could sense your heart beat faster this time again. You felt trapped and couldn't do other than smile and roll your eyes at the two of them. "Please don't judge!" Luna and Mark looked at you in desbeliefe. "I don't say anything, he is the hottest man around. So feel free to do whatever you want." Was the only thing Mark managed to say to you.
As soon as the evening ends you got a call from the organiser of your concert tomorrow. The time had to be switched two hours since there had been an electricity problem. The fans already had been informed but he asked you to also post something to get sure that each and everybody who has tickets for tomorrow is informed. You directly managed to film another video for Instagram but in the second you finished it, it hit you that the date with Harry won't work due to the new schedule. You nervously called him to explain everything. It felt so bad to tell him that you cannot meet so soon but his reaction hit you by surprise.
"Where are you now?" Was the only thing he said to you after you held a five minute monologue via the phone. "I am about to go back to my hotel but right now I am still at the bar with Luna an Mark. Why do you ask?" "Okay, will be there in ten minutes. It is only a few streets next to my flat." He hung up the phone and you cannot believe what just happened. "Guys" your head began to swirl. It was a few cocktails this evening but it wasn't only a tipsy feeling. It was an heavy excitement in your stomach. You felt like you were about to throw up. "What happened Berry?" Luna looked at you with a scared look on her face. Mark took you by your shoulders and shook you. "You alright sweets? Fuck you getting pale as the wall" You managed to get yourself together and stumbled. "You can leave, Harry will come and pick me up" "What?" Both your friends cried out. Luna shaked her head a no "I won't leave until he is here. Gotta make sure he treats you right, girl." Mark nodded in agreement "Yeah, whatever he wants to do with you, you have to be back tonight. Tomorrow is a tough day!" He sounded like a dad.
You three argued for about five minutes outside of the bar whether your friends should stay or go. "I need another drink. You all driving me crazy. I will go insane if I have to withstand this evening sober!" You cried out like a teenager standing up against her parents.
"Hope it's not because of me?" You turned around in surprise of his familiar voice. Harry standing right infront of you dressed up with a jeans and a to comfortable looking hoodie. He scratches the back of his head while smiling shyly at you.
"Hi" a really quiet greeting dropped out of you mouth. "Heya!" Harrys shy smile grew into a big bright one. He looked around to your friends not knowing how to behave. He begged you with his eyes to show a reaction but you didn't knew what to do. With a big step towards you he leaned in and pulled you into a soft warm hug. His head crawling into your neck he whispered a sweet "Damn, you smell so good!" The compliment let your legs shake. You could feel his hug tightening around your back. His head coming even nearer to your neck. You could feel his breath again. It hit you back to the night in the bathroom. You felt so hot. You turned red by the compliment. The urge to answer him came up but you don't know how to behave infront of your friends who looked at you in fully awe and surprise. "Alrighty, take care of my sis here. Aaaand no later than 12pm, right??" Mark demanded Harry as he loosened the hug a bit. Like a teenage boy who just got an speech from the dad of his crush he answered. "Sure that. By the way.." Harry reached his hand out to both of your friends "I'm Harry!" "Yeah, we know who you are" Luna teased him and bumped his nose with her finger. Fully surprised Harry looked at her and gave you a questioning look. She pointed at you "You two, have fun!" With a blink towards you she took Marks arm and both left.
Still surprised, Harry turned smilingly at you who shooked her head in disbelief of the behaviour of your friends. "I am sorry, Styles!" You giggled to him not wanting to see the reaction on his face, your hear on the street. "What was it? You need a drink?" His hands still touching your waist. His other hand holding you by your shoulders while his thumb running small circles against it. The two of you stood infront of the bar staring at each other while slightly turning red. You could say both didn't new what the next step should be. Should you lean in closer again or will it be better to separate? You began to chuckle not knowing why. Harry grinned at you surprised. "What?!" He laughed out loud. Still giggling "I don't know. Aaaactually.." "Are you tipsy?" Harry again leaning closer to you, his face nearly touching your face. You took a step back in impulse of his body coming nearer. "Stay here!" he grabbed you on your hips and pulled you right back, your bodies collided into each other. "Breathe on me!" His nose touching your nose. "What? Harry what are you doing." You cannot help but giggle again. "Didn't you say you cannot stand this night sober, Nikks? You aren't sober at all. How much did you guys have?" "What?" You got fed up by his questions. "Are you the booze police or what?" He grinned back at you "No, I am jealous that I didn't had as much as you!" You slapt his breast in an impulse. "Idiot!" You wanted to dissolve his hands still holding you tightly against him. You felt your two bodies too close to each other. You heart began to race so fast and you could almost feel his heart as well. His stare into your eyes was so needy. You didn't knew if you or Harry was the first one who forgot to breathe. "I swear Nikks, if we don't get inside and grab a drink right now, I need to take you to my place asap!" He took your head in both of his hands leaning in to a kiss. You let yourself go and pulled him closer. Your hands resting on his back while his still holding the back of your neck and curled into your hair. It was needy, it was passionately, both of you knew you were standing outside of the bar and each and everyone could see you now. But you didn't care. All you wanted to do right now was to feel your bodies against each other. You pulled back of the kiss "Soooo" you whispered out of breath. Harry took your hand. "Come!"
***
It took you a fiveteen minutes walk as you had to pause here and there leaning against a wall kissing each other. You asked how it took Harry only five minutes to get to the bar before. "Well, I haven't had a hot Latina distract me every ten metres" he leaned into another heated kiss, never letting go of you.
As you reached the door of his shared flat he pinned you against the wall again. Just like the last time. This time even more eager. He knew exactly what you want and how he could attract you. His hands teasing around the button and zipper of your jeans. Your hands beneath his hoodie as well. You grabbed the loop of his jeans and pulled him against you while he tried to unlock the door. Your hands now all over his body while you both entered the living room. You let him hectically get rid of his hoodie. Now standing infront of his bare chest you reclined back to the shut door. Only wanting to look at his beautiful upper body. "What?" He questioned you with a smirk wanting to come closer again. You pushed him away biting your lip. He looked at you in confusion, not knowing what to do. "Are we alone?" You whispered towards him. "Yeah, the guys are away for the next two days" he stared at you while you undress from your sweater and also the shirt. Only standing infront of him with your bra and jeans. You opened the jeans and let your hands slit inside your pants. Touching yourself right infront of him and moaning with pleasure. Harry was totally confused about what just happened infront oh his eyes but he was sure he liked it. A lot. He was watching you touching yourself for a few minutes. It made him so hot that he would have taken you without hesitation but everytime he tried to come nearer to you, you pushed him away. You wanted to tease him. You wanted him to look at you while you try to finish yourself. Biting your lips and looking at him with pleasure in your eyes he got so fed up by only watching than playing with you he cannot hold on anymore. Within seconds he pushed you to his couch and undressed you from your underwear. He put down his pants so quickly you can't even manage to register what happened. But in only a few seconds you were sitting on his laps kissing him and swinging your bodies in the same rythem. It went quick. You both hit your climax at the same time. Collapsing onto each other fully heated and sweaty. Both of you tried to catch your breaths until you managed to be fully sober on your thoughts again. None of you say a word and none of you were able to look into each others eyes. You already had sex with each other but this time it felt different. This time he was sober. You were not. You felt so ashamed about what just happened. How you behaved infront of him. You hectically got up from the couch and collected your clothes. "You don't wanna run away from me again right after fucking me, will ya?" You felt Harry behind you. His naked body tightly crashing against yours. His hands touching your body, touching your breasts. Slowly wandering down your body and pushing his back against you. The only thing you could do was grin to yourself in disbelief. "Mark said I should be home tonight" "I promise to bring you home safely tomorrow in the morning. Don't leave now!" His sloppy kisses down your spine made you nervous again. He turned you around in a second and pulled you into his bedroom.

2018/08/02 The Hollywood Reporter & Deadline - ‘Suits’ Being Remade By Japan’s Fuji TV After NBC Universal Strikes Format Deal
A Japanese version of legal drama Suits is set to hit TV screens in October after leading network Fuji TV signed a deal with NBC Universal International Formats, its first scripted format sale in the country.
The 11-part hourlong series will run on Fuji TV in its coveted Monday 9 p.m. slot and be produced by the network in collaboration with its subsidiary Kyodo Television. It will star popular actor Yuji Oda in Gabriel Macht's role of mentor Harvey and actor and musician Yuto Nakajima in Patrick J. Adam's role of Mike...

Suits is being remade in Japan after NBC Universal International Formats struck a deal with Fuji TV.
The deal is the second adaptation for the USA Network legal drama after the Hollywood studio sold the format to KBS in South Korea.
The Japanese version will be produced by Fuji TV in association with Kyodo Television and will run for an initial eleven episodes in October on the broadcaster’s prime ‘Getsuku’ drama slot. It will focus on Yukimura Uesugi, one of the four major law firms in Japan. Yuji Oda (Tokyo Love Story) will lead the cast, in the role of hot shot attorney Shogo Kai (Harvey Specter). Young actor and member of Japanese pop group Hey! Say! JUMP, Yuto Nakajima (Hope, My Son, Engine) will play the newly appointed associate Daisuke Suzuki (Mike Ross).
Hiroyuki Goto (Beautiful World) and Hiroshi Kobayashi (Princess Jellyfish) serve as producers. Masato Hijikata (Broke Mom) is to direct. Junya Ikegami (Aibou) is scriptwriter. The deal was brokered by NBC Universal International Formats’ Director of Asia Format Sales Liaison, Linfield Ng.
The U.S. series, which was created by Aaron Korsh and produced by Universal Cable Productions, is currently in its eighth season with Grey’s Anatomy’s Katherine Heigl stepping in to follow Meghan Markle after she married Prince Harry.
Ana Langenberg, SVP Formats & Production, NBC Universal International Formats, said, “Suits remains as one of the most popular TV series in the U.S., so we are delighted to further extend the brand across Asia with Fuji TV. Centred on a set of dynamic and formidable characters, Suits lends itself perfectly to international markets, with its genius storytelling and universal themes of power, love and rivalry. It’s great to see such excellent on and off-screen talent attached to what will be the second international version of the show. We look forward to working with Fuji TV to bring this brilliant series to life.”
Hiroyuki Goto, General Producer, Drama Production, Fuji TV added, “I have been a true Suits fan since I saw the scene where Harvey meets Mike, and it made me dream of one day creating a Japanese version. No words can describe how much I respect Aaron Korsh and the original producers, and appreciate the NBC Universal International Formats team for providing me with the opportunity to make my seven-year-long dream come true to produce the show in Japan.
“What makes the series so intriguing is how the individual stories of the attractive characters starting with Harvey and Mike, as well as Louis, Rachel, Donna, and Jessica link together with the cases and incidents in each episode. The entire Japanese cast and crew will keep this in mind and do our very best to successfully localize Suits. We aim to create a cool and stylish drama that will not only attract attention within Japan, but also become one of the hottest topics of 2018 on a global scale as well.”

Thank you~ It surprised so much!
Tagging: I don't really talk much to people on here which is weird, need to change that. @skirt-chan @sparkcj @darkfaethedestroyer
Nickname: Yogi, Lucy (said with a really bad japanese accent)
Zodiac: Leo
Last movie I saw: Bohemian Rhapsody
Height: 163,5 cm, about 5'4"
Last thing I googled: Kageyama Tobio x Reader 😂
Favorite musicians: From Japanese: #1 Kenshi Yonezu (always), GRANRODEO, Miyano Mamoru (of course), Hatano Wataru (in any shape and form). From English: Andy Black, Black Veil Brides too. Halsey, Panic! At The Disco, Bruno Mars, Queen. From Polish: Quebonafide, Taco Hemingway, I recommend checking out their rap even if you don't understand it. Ukrainian: MELOVIN. My overall taste in music is weird and very much scattered but those artists sum it up very well. I listen to whatever my ears choose. I also love musicals: Heathers, Be More Chill, Dear Evan Hansen just to name the more popular ones.
Song stuck in my head: Prayer X by King Gnu, Banana Fish's 1st ending. It's so underrated, it deserves more love! ♡
Do I ever get asks: Nope!
Following: 12 (´∀`;)
Amount of sleep: 6-7 on weekdays, 10-11 on weekends. My body can't lay down for more than 10 hours, it just hurts.
Lucky numbers: Supposedly 10 is my lucky number and I agree. 14 seems to be good recently.
What I'm wearing: As I'm writing this: Light blue, long sleeved shirt, black jeans and black hoodie. Going to school!
Dream trip: Japan, of course. The whole of England and Ireland. Canada.
Dream job: Not gonna lie, I don't have a specific one. If I ever learn how to properly write and draw I'd love to create my own comic or a story because my head is going to explode with the amount of ideas I have, hence the name of my blog. I'm working on one right now but it's a very slow process. But currently I'm aspiring to be a vet. I love animals and I want to help them when they need it. I just need to be less lazy and work harder starting this year!
Do you play instruments: Nope! I wish I could at least know how to play a guitar. (´∀`;)
Languages: Polish 'cuz I'm polish! English, constantly praised for my skills in it even though I feel like I'm mediocre. Russian, I started 3 years ago but only now my new teacher is able to explain it well to me. I'd like to learn some good ol' welsh or irish. I just find it interesting. I'd also like to try japanese. I feel like talking will be no problem. But there's still writing and reading~
Favorite songs: Flamingo - Kenshi Yonezu, Play Me Like a Violin - Stephen, Classic - MKTO, Youngblood - 5 Seconds of Summer, Ribcage - Andy Black, The Ballad of Mona Lisa - Panic! At the Disco, Crawling - Linkin Park, Metallica 808 - Taconafide, Unbroken - MELOVIN
Random fact(s) about me: I really don't know what to put here. (´∀`;) Okay: 1. I've dyed my hair red just to be more like my fave anime character Kagami Taiga. Turns out that having red hair suits me and makes my skin 'glow' and not look pale. So it wasn't a bad decision in the end! Now I just dye my ends red. 2. I enjoy memes that I find funny, but when I see my buddies' meme folders I think that they're weird. Usually later on I find that those are the hottest memes right now. I don't get it. I don't get new memes. 3. I'm an introvert so making any contact is really stressful for me. I don't have many friends and I don't go out that much even though I want to. I'm working on building up my confidence, it's definitely better than it was a year ago for example. 4. I'm bisexual! And I proudly present it to the world! ♡ 5. I listen to a lot of japanese stuff yet I still can't speak it. I like singing in japanese when I have the romaji lyrics. 6. I have 5 anime boys that I consider my sons: Miyuki Kazuya, Yuri Plisetsky, Otabek Altin, Killua Zoldyck, Ryugazaki Rei. Weird, I know. I say that because all of them represent some parts of my personality so they seem relatable to me. My husband is Isshiki Satoshi by the way.
Describe yourself as things: punk boots, old books, empty sketchbook ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

self-para 01 - plot twist
word count: 732
notes: i wanted to really just go all out and be a little crazy with this one. this is what may or may not happen to luna in the next fifteen years, enjoy. ♡
she’s the first to go.
if asked, she’d never really be able to say why. from the start, wish hadn’t really fit her. but the younger, naive mi-cha was so eager to debut, so unaware of who she was, that she signed the contract in an instant. the first few years were amazing - she could get past the cutesy concept. being a member of the nation’s girl group, alongside some of the most amazing people she’d ever met? she would’ve never believed she’d go so far. so she was happy, she was content, everything was fine.
until it wasn’t. mi-cha was craving more freedom - to write songs, and release some of her own. finally, bc cracks, and allows her a single track to write and perform. it seemed like an amazing opportunity, but there were conditions. wish as a whole, not luna’s name, would be attached, and she wasn’t permitted to perform unless the group was present.
anyone who paid enough attention, could see the idol slowly cracking. a little more careless, a little less selfless. it seems as if she's involved in minor scandals all the time, not at all the vision for wish, the “perfect”, “pure” group of kpop.
but mi-cha knows exactly what she was doing, and it works. in 2022 she leaves, the 7th year of wish. it hurts like hell, leaving the best friends and a life she’d known for so long behind. they’ll go on without her, but she’s okay with that. they’d survive, she knows - while they were lacking their main rapper, it was definitely possible to pull through without luna. the media isn’ttoo pleased, though, and there's an uproar, as expected, when bc announced her departure.
leaving a group is never the end, though. as soon as she tries to return to life as it was in seoul, she’s faced with constant backlash for “causing drama for wish, then bailing”. that was never the intention - she’s always wanted the best for her girls. but of course, they won’t listen, and mi-cha’s fed up. so she makes the biggest decision of her life.
moves to japan.
truthfully, the plan began as a joke she’d tell herself whenever she got stressed. but soon enough, the idea seems less and less crazy. of course she couldn’t hide, but she could try her best and start a new life.
the move is definitely...a change. for a year, she struggles to even hold a basic conversation in japanese - wish’s japanese albums obviously hadn’t gotten her too far. but, she pulls through, and it turns out that the move is the best decision of her life. she finds a small yet stable music company that’ll allow her to write songs of her own, and she finally revives her love for the piano, playing whenever she had free time. it’s a lot different than working as an idol, but she’s not starving, and yet doing what she wants.
outside of her work life, though, the girl truly goes wild. stripped away of luna, stripped away of her old life. excitement’s what she craves, and her wishes are quickly granted. the time off from work is spent at night clubs, the origin of many restless nights. while most think she’s living recklessly, micha only thinks she’s living freely. she’d always thought that new york never slept, but japan had definitely proved otherwise.
a good time doesn’t come without a price, though, and her home country is livid. on more than one occasion, she’s the headline of korean articles, labeled the “girl gone rogue”. pictures of the former wish idol getting a little too friendly with girls, downing shots. it seems she’ll never stop.
but she does. finally, she’s 35 and establishes her own music company, producing solo artists of all different genres. her goal is simple - make the dreams of aspiring musicians a reality, and that’s just what happens. it’s a bumpy start, but before she knows it mi-cha’s the face behind several of japan’s hottest artists.
by now, she’s gone through several phases - a naive little girl, a maturing member of wish, a reckless party girl, and now the ceo of her own company. content isn’t enough to explain how she feels - but elated is. she has income, a newfound passion, and a loving partner.
finally, she’s happy. completely, and totally - happy.
#✧・゚:* there's more to life - headcannons. *:・゚✧#fmdtask002#yes i did a whole turnaround for micha i have no regrets#i say enjoy but like...this is bad please don't read#it's 4:30 and i just finished what does that tell you

Interview with MILOŠ
We had the pleasure of interviewing MILOŠ over Zoom video!
Celebrating 10 years with Universal Music, superstar and bonafide “Classical Guitar God” (The Times) MILOŠ releases a brand new album, featuring two outstanding original concertos, both specially-commissioned for the star musician – a testament to his outstanding musicianship and pioneering spirit, showcasing new guitar repertoire on the world stage.
The Moon & The Forest, released on April 30th 2021, features works for guitar and orchestra by award-winning composers Howard Shore (Lord of the Rings, The Departed) and Joby Talbot (The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Winter’s Tale). Inspired by his now legendary artistry and unique personal heritage, both Shore and Talbot worked closely with MILOŠ in order to create two distinctive, groundbreaking scores.
Best known for his epic scores to the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit films, Howard Shore’s guitar concerto ‘The Forest’ partially deviates from his works on the screen, drawing instead from the symbiotic relationship between people and the earth. Montenegro and its dark forests have been an inspiration to Howard and MILOŠ from the beginning, when the work was first commissioned by Canada’s National Arts Centre.
Taking its title from a collection of Japanese love poetry, the concerto very much places the guitar – and its soloist – at the very centre of proceedings. Cast in three movements that flow into one another, changes in mood and atmospheric timbre permeate the work, exploring sonorous landscapes that bring the vivid imagery to life.
The album also includes innovative new arrangements for solo guitar of Ludovico Einaudi’s ‘Full Moon’ and Robert Schumann’s ‘Träumerei’ – two moving pieces from the Romantic and Modern classical repertoire. Canada’s National Arts Centre Orchestra and the BBC Symphony Orchestra feature on the recording, conducted by Alexander Shelley and Ben Gernon respectively.
To mark a decade of incredible music-making with Universal Music, MILOŠ’s new album cements his position as not only “the hottest guitarist in the world” (Sunday Times), but also a pioneer and innovator of contemporary guitar repertoire for the ages.
