meanwhile I’m eating & fika’ing my way through LA being the food & coffee enthusiast that I am, I had a little fuel break at this touristy high profile spot to see what the fuss was about 🍴 ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I came for the decor and hype, stayed for the waffles with whipped cream and Nutella (incredibly good - swipe for visuals of my first bite). however was repelled by the crowd it attracted (read: loud tourists) and acoustics 🤷🏽‍♀️⁣ ⁣⁣ being located next to the pink wall at Melrose, one should have known better. However, when we know better we do better like Dr. Angelo said.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ conclusion: get the waffles to gooo, they’re a treat! Sure it’s a “Instagram” worthy place in terms of esthetics if you’re into that. if you’re NOT a HSP/empath perhaps you’ll manage the awful stingy vibe and load acoustic bouncing off the walls. I did not, just being honest with you. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ lastly, classic example of followings trends/hypes — they just don’t do it. Period. Not for me at least, how about you? Thoughts?
