Raph headcanons

that I WILL inflict upon others in my upcoming fics!! (they are coming I promise):

Only meowed and chirped until he was 3. Then he started talking (in third person always. Ex: "is papa there? Can Leo move please? Mikey play with Raph! Raph is hungry" <- Mikey started speaking before him and used to translate his meows.

Did NOT know how to control his temper, got into a lot of trouble when roughousing or fighting with his brothers.

Always won arguments with either being the oldest (i have authority) or being the biggest (shut up or I'll punch you).

His ass was NOT a gentle kid. VERY prone to violence. WOULD throw punches at everyone and only then ask what was happening when fights broke between the brothers (mainly the twins, Mikey had a pass for being the youngest and his bff).

A cuddlebug tho. Would hug just as frequently as throw punches.

Very protective. He can mess with the little goobers he calls brothers, no one else can.

Had an existencial crisis in his tweens because he thought his brothers were scared of him/disliked him (tension mainly between him and Donnie).

Was closest to Mikey the most because of their shared braincell. Partners in crime, Mikey's violent tendencies were fed most in this period of time- and then never went away.

Would bully (read: prank and mess with) the twins most. Often acompanied by Mikey.

Their relationship only started drifting when Raph hit his tweens (10-11?) and started being scared of hurting his brothers.

Started hanging out with Leo more than Mikey after that and since then they're the hotshower duo (red = rot and blue = water).

Told Leo a pun once. Leo laughed for days and then started making puns all the time. He regrets it to this day. They all laughed in the start, but then they realized he would NOT stop.

Secretly envied Donnie for being so smart because he thought of himself as a bad brother for being "dumb" (autistic).

100% on the spectrum. Very literal flavored autism and overemotional (empathetic). Used fighting as a stim before Donnie taught them what stimming was.

It’s a quiet night...

and you’re home at last from a tiring day of work. You slop onto the couch, throwing your arms aside in exhaustion. You just sit there, staring at the ceiling fan as the blades keep spinning round and round like the planets around the sun.

 It takes a few moments  for you to realize that you’re gazing at nothing in particular, your vision out of focus, but being the lazy ass you are, you just leave it be. You’re too tired to even get up and change out of your clothes, let alone cook! Thank God for food delivery, you think, as you take out your phone, wondering what to order. As if your very soul were guiding you, you order a pizza which, as it turns out, will take an hour and a half to arrive due to really bad traffic (and the pizzeria being far away). You decide to take a long, relaxing bath before the food arrives.. 

You get the water heater running and then put on some music on Spotify™. You undress and jump into the shower and the next thing you know, you end up vibing to ‘Lush Life’ by Zara Larsson while hopping out of that calming shower. 

You get dressed and turn on Netflix on the telly and as soon as you sit down, your doorbell rings. You get up, find the pizza delivery guy standing outside, take your pizza away from him It’s my pizza, goddamit!!

You plop down in front of the TV and continue watching your movie where you left it off. As you take a bite, however, you feel this weird sensation in your nose.

 No. You immediately realize what’s gonna happen.

No! You can’t stop it.

No!! It’s too late.

You sneeze and bits of pizza fly out of your damn mouth and all around the mothereffin’ house. You look around and go, “ Well, that’s fuckin’ great..”
