A view of El Vedado First day in cuba, first motive outside my hotel. A good representation of the CBD part of Havana called El Vedado. This neighborhood was built during the republic era in early 1900s. The building, garden, car and open street are quite typical for this area. There are also some embassies and governmental residences around. Due north is the seawall and coastal avenue Malecon, and the Revolution square is due south. The local cultural scene in this neighborhood involves classic cuban music and theaters. Some pictures I took when we arrived @hotelpaseo. The pool bar is great and there is a pool has an attendant which a lot of hotels don’t have, but need. She did such a great job. The room we were assigned was room 122. There is a bathtub in the room itself which was cool. Visiting Palm Desert with The Best Group

So, what do I do to cap off the busiest week of my life? Why, head to Palm Desert, California to produce and host an influencers’ trip, of course! Leaving the stress of LA behind, and focusing on the real intention of the weekend - showing some of the kindest, most inspiring, warmest people I know the @visitpalmdesert I love - made me fall even more richly in love with the city. These influencers we chose for this inaugural trip are called “influencers” for a reason. The fill up your heart, challenge your mind, and influence your soul. And, they use laughter as a currency. I loved curating a trip just for these 19 folks - a trip that showed them the desert life I love, and some of the favorite places I love, while deepening our friendships and filling up our memory banks.
