When I was thinking about a disguise for those two for Halloween, I immediately figured them as Gomez and Morticia Addams. The idea was just too much fun for me to not take the time to draw them like that.

It was also the occasion to use some color pencils again and a tiny bit of watercolor.

Aaron’s mask was untouched. Initially it was suspected he had not participated, but he claims it was intentional. When asked to elaborate he stated that “white is what happens when you mix all the colors together and sometimes that’s how I feel…like I’m everyone else’s…whatever…all mixed together.” When pointed out that his statement implied that he was not his own person Aaron just shrugged and grew quiet.

lemme tell u i love the characterisation: hotch (&emily) in this fic r so precious to me. mentally unstable, homocidal, & secretly insecure teens that are just teens <3 like. okay hotch fr murdered someone yet he grieves it with that youthful intensity & ‘but i want it back’-ism bc he loved her and its so heartbreaking. AGH HIS DIARY ENTRY IS TOO!!! as is every reference to What Is Wrong with him :(( <//3

and!! i’ve never read a foyet/anyone else thing before but hotchniss/foyet in this fic was so interesting. like, his characterisation was transformative enough that it makes so much sense!! like while also being subtle?? like nobody is making out w tongue hotch is just comfortable around them both, horny, and pretty sure emily/foyet r into each other. emily/foyet r just enabling each other while they also make hotch let loose, while hotch introduces some sweetness into emily’s life . . . it just Works

Seeing that you just commented on this, its so wild to me how many perspectives a story can have, so if it ok i’d like to share mine!!! The day you posted your first hotchniss fic was exactly the moment i finished the other amazing one shot that you just mentioned about the mr scratch arc and it was just perfect!!! having a bunch of your favorite writers post stuff in the same era like we re all here and its happening is amazing to me!! each writer has something specific that is so unique to them and to me honestly getting 2 fics on the same subject literally scratched (hah pun) my brain in the best way possible!! Like i literally got a brain orgasm!!!! Weird analogy but it feels like going out in your favorite outfit and your friends take candids of you and you later discover that they all took pics from different angles of this perfect moment and now you have a bunch of equally amazing pictures to remind you of that!!! Dont know if that made any sense but main bottom line here is!!! ALL WRITING IS SO APPRECIATED, even if people were to write the same arc over and over we would still eat it up

Okay this is FANTASTIC advice that I'm always trying to give to other people and apparently never actually internalising myself, maybe because I had never heard the candids-in-your-favourite-outfit analogy before.

So here it is. Thank you, kind anon! I hate that we're socialised with this "oh, no, yours is so much better than mine, I could never make art as good as you" mentality, because there's room for all of us! I don't want to ever feel like another writer is competition. I want to be excited together, that's the whole point!

Same anon as last one for little!jj, I’ll take all our thoughts. I absolutely love little!jj especially when she’s regressed young or even older and her with Hotchniss as her caregivers. She’s just a smol little princess but I feel like causes trouble also.

I feel like she's definitely cheeky when regressed. She's a well behaved little don't get me wrong but she is also happy to break harmless rules. Bedtime at 11 o clock? She's pushing it to 12. No sweets after 6? She's sneaking into a cupboard to get some.

If she's regressed smaller whilst at work someone has to be with her. On more than one occasion Luke has been sat with JJ colouring.

Speaking of her friendship with Luke, I can guarantee you that he will pick her up if she doesn't want to walk/can't walk.

When it comes to her caregivers as I said her main ones are Hotch and Emily. Both are very protective over JJ and have got rules for her however as I said the more minor rules JJ tends to break quite often. Neither Hotch or Emily are overly worried about the rules she breaks though as they know she's a smart girl and wouldn't put herself at risk.

Playdates with Garcia include baking and arts and crafts, it's always something that can get messy. And I promise you with Penelope there it will get messy.

Playdates with Spencer include reading, normally him reading to her. And puzzles. Lots and lots of puzzles.

So I'm trying to cover all big characters so this might not make full sense due to timelines so pls just bear with me 😅

Derek would take JJ to parks. If she had too much energy Derek's getting called over to take her to chill and use her energy running around.

Rossi has money and spends a decent amount on JJ. He will buy her anything she wants, he cannot say no to her. 😂

Speaking of Rossi, he brings JJ lunch because he will not let her eat bad food. It just simply won't do.

Again, I have to pick just ONE???? Okay, I'll narrow it down to a few.

Hotchniss- This ship is a hate crime. It's awful. Even if Emily weren't very obviously a lesbian it would still be awful because it is absolutely DRIPPING with internalized misogyny. They'll turn Emily--man-hating, fiercely independent, anti-patriarchal Emily--into little Suzie homemaker so that they can project their Hotch fantasies onto her. They practically turn her into an OC because the thing is, they don't ACTUALLY care about Emily. They just have an easier time projecting themselves onto her and turning her into the "not like other girls" self-insert than they do with JJ or Penelope.

Emily/just about any man- For the most part, if you ship Emily with a man, you just don't get her character AT ALL. Demily is the one exception. I personally recognize that Emily is a lesbian, but she and Derek have such a strong connection that I'm willing to bend on that if the Demily is really well done. But everyone else who ships Emily with a man just wildly misunderstands her character and doesn't care about anything except fantasizing sex between two characters they personally find attractive.

Hotchreid- Listen, there are plenty of Hotchreid shippers who are wonderful people, and plenty of Hotchreid fics and art that are perfectly nice and lovely! But Hotchreid is also like the go-to ship for people who only care about male characters and m/m fics and would rather die than admit that female characters can be complete humans deserving of their own narratives, let alone actually READ a femslash fic, god forbid!

and honestly, I know I'm gonna get heat for this, but...

Jemily- It's only a small segment of the Jemily shippers, and is IN NO WAY reflective of my feelings on the actual ship. I like Jemily! I read Jemily! I write Jemily! But there are some Jemily shippers out there who are SO laser focused on this one ship that they're unwilling to acknowledge anything else. They're unwilling to see that Emily also has great chemistry with Penelope and Tara, or that Jemily in canon is actually kind of a hot mess.
