*Molly’s View*
My heels clicked down the hall, I could hear yelling from the stadium behind me. “Too loud” I mumbled to myself, but my mumbles were quickly silenced by the sounds of someone hitting a wall.
“FOR FUCKS SAKE—“ The strong words echoed through the hallway, the persons voice was deep and agitated. The words sunk into my thoughts as I peeked around the corner.
My heart stopped. *I took a wrong turn somewhere*, I looked up to read the sign that said ‘Players Locker room’, when leaving the Stadium I must have turned a wrong corner, maybe I didn’t look at the signs?
*What do I do?*
Panic set in quickly, but my eyes are locked on a large figure, he stood facing the wall. His helmet clutched in one hand and his other fist rested on the wall in front of him.
He pressed his forehead into the cold wall and groaned, I took in his gear, goalie pads. *Ding, I got it*, My eyes widened. Opening my mouth to think out loud. “he got kicked out of the game…”
There was a Goalie fight just before I left, I played the fight in my head over to myself like a movie..
He had started a fight with the other teams Goalie for foul goal, “Poor thing..” I muttered to myself, his head perked up at my words.
Quickly, I ducked behind the corner of the wall, my breath catching in my throat, and I start to hold it there, my eye twitching in anxiety.
Then the sound of sharp skates hitting the mesh floor tore my attention up from staring at my feet in panic. He stood right in front of me.
I got a good look at his face, shaggy blond hair stuck to his forehead and cheeks with sweat that acted like glue. His cheeks flushed red in annoyance. My eyes wandered his face a bit more.
Grayish blue eyes, staring into my fucking soul, *I swear his glare could cut my skin*. I slipped down his body with my eyes, trailing the Ravens logo on his chest and the pads, and his- oh, *god*
*His smell*, my eyes water at the horrendously sweaty smell that I would imagine hung over his gear like smoke. He glared down at my now watery eyes, watching me try to blink away the tears.
“Lost, little girl?” he growled, my ears perked up and I didn’t know what to say, the annoyance tainted his words, I couldn’t tell if it was annoyance at me or the game.
Although I hadn’t done anything wrong, how could it be annoyance at *me?*
He cleared his throat to get my attention, “Huh?” Reality snapped back to me like a rubber band. “Oh, yeah, I think I’m lost..” my voice came out a bit quieter than I had hoped.
But he heard me, thankfully. He opened his mouth to speak, and I braced myself for harsh words. “There was a sign on the door, how’d you miss it?” He tilts his chin to draw my attention to door, which reads in clear words, ‘Players ONLY’, not my proudest moment.
I stared at the sign with my mouth hung open, not quite Sure how to explain ‘I hate hockey and I wanted to leave’, without offending him.
“Oh, Uh..” my words caught in my throat, I looked up at him, he raised an eyebrow at me with impatience. “Must have missed it?” The words dragged out of my throat, an obvious truth but he could tell it wasn’t the whole truth.
“Spit it out before I call security” he snaps back, *Busted* were the only words I could think.
“Ok ok!” I shoot my hands up, pushing him away. My palms connected to his chest, which was covered by layer after layer of pads and sticky gear. He stepped away from me, but dragged his large gloved hand to take my wrists.
His fingers wrapped around both my wrists with ease, and sure my wrists weren’t big, at all.. but without those massive gloves he probably wouldn’t have been able to do that.. *I hope*.
His eyes glared into mine, “I don’t like hockey, and I was trying to find a way out of the Stadium so I could wait for my sister in the Car”, He cringed at my words.
“Don’t like hockey?-“
I cut him off, “Nope, never have never will. Can you point me to the exit now?”
I tried to give him a pleading smile, but it looked more uncomfortable than anything.
“I should call security on you for saying you don’t like Hockey” he growls, his grip on my wrists tighten. I felt a heat pool between my thighs. *What the.. fuck?*
“Please don’t!” The words sounded like I was begging him. “Just show me the way out and I will get out of your hair— ACK”
The large Goalie pressed my wrists over my head and to the wall behind me, the cool brick spreading across my skin. His body pressed forward to mine and he glared down at me.
“I’ll give you a reason to like Hockey” He snarls, then I realized all the anger he had pent up from the game, was going to be completely directed at me.
*And my kinky ass found that hot*.
“What?” My mouth fell open, “run that by me again? I don’t think I..” *Heard you right…*
The sentence finished in my head as I watched his face drop down to level with me, his lips hovering just inches above mine. “You wanna figure out why so many women love hockey?”
I gulped down my protest, because *Fuck me, maybe I do like hockey now.* I nodded before I could think about what he had just said to me.
His lips crashed against mine, pure rage as he pinned me closer to the wall.
My heart pounded into my ears, I could hear the crowd screen “STAVE SHUTOUT” as the other teams goalie blocked a puck.
The sounds drowned out when I felt his netted glove press against my face. Warmth pooled just below my stomach, making my head spin as he bit down on my lip.
I could feel his aggressiveness as he pressed me harder into the wall, like he was going to flatten me right into the bricks, my ears rung loudly.
I felt something push up against my stomach, *Oh shit*, His hard length pressed against me, begging for attention, attention I was gonna give it.
“Mmm” I moaned against his lips, then once again, Reality snapped at me like a rubber band. *What am I doing?!*
I yanked away from him and ducked under his arm, escaping his grip swiftly and rushing down the hallway. I felt his eyes bare into my back as I ran, heat still pooled between my thighs, *what the fuck was I thinking…*
As I hit the exit door and pushed it open, a thought popped into my head. “What player was that?” I let the words settle in the cool open air around me.
The sound of downtown LA hit my ears and the fresh air filled my lungs. “Goalie… Goalie…” I shook my head into the wind. “Who was the Goalie tonight for the Ravens..”
It hit me like a Train. “[[Chase Maverick]]”
The words chimed as a memory in my head, a memory from my last hockey game before my dad passed away 3 years ago.
“MAVERICK SHUTOUT” my dad yelled from next to me. He pointed down at the goalie who held the puck in his hand. “Him right there, Molly”
I nodded to my dad as he spoke to me.
“That is the best Goalie this team ever traded for” He smiles down at me. “Maybe the best Goalie in the NHL”
He chucked at his own words, and my 16 year old self watched with stars in her eyes,
And my dumb as just missed the chance to fuck him!

the thing is even if you hate basketball you'd be an idiot to not take those lakers tickets and go drool over lebron in probably his final season... everyone discoursing about how the lakers tickets were a bad gift is wrong. the tickets were a great gift if you like to drool over men
