Vienna Pride Week: June 9th-18th 2017 - the Highlights!

June 9th - 18th 2017 is the LGBTQ community organized Pride Week in Vienna - it will get very colorful! <3

Sat, June 10th: Pride day @ Prater Themepark (U1/U2 Praterstern) - see the Themepark in all colors of the rainbow; there will be live shows & concerts @ Giant Ferris Wheel Square - free entry! 10am-7pm

Sat, June 10th: Life Ball @ City Hall (U2 Rathaus) = famous Viennese Aids Charity Event - check out the extravagant costumes before the event! theme: 1920ies & 1930ies - event start 9:30pm

Wed 14h - Sat 17th Pride Village @ City Hall (U2 Rathaus) - lot’s of Info, Food & Drink stands; lot’s of fun events/shows/concerts - daily 11am-11pm (except Wed 3-11pm)

Sat 17th: Rainbow Parade @ Ring street - colorful & peaceful demonstration for LGBT rights; meeting point: 1pm @ City Hall (U2 Rathaus); start 2pm; route: counterclockwise around the Ring; End & Afterparty @ City Hall ~6:30pm

2) “In the park” Fest @ in front of 25hours Hotel (U2/U3 Volkstheater) - Food stands, (live) music, bicycle repair, entertainment, etc; afterparty @25hours Hotel rooftop until 1am - Free entry! Fri & Sat 12-10pm

This Thursday, 31st of May 2018, is the free annual Vienna Philharmonics Summer Night Concert in Vienna!

Situated in the beautiful Park Grounds of Vienna's famous Schönbrunn Palace:

Start: 8:30pm

Get there with the U4 either Station Schönbrunn or Hietzing (Main Entrance of the Park is closed - use the “Hietzinger Tor” or “Meidlinger Tor” Entrances!)

-> also if you want a good spot be sure to arrive early!

Gürtel Connection #4 - October 25th 2017 - don’t miss it! :)

Gürtel Connection = Partying for a good cause! :D (Who wouldn’t like it...)

In the Gürtel Connection Event many Bars & Clubs participate in organizing a great evening with lot’s of live events for a good cause.

This time donations go to the “Gruft”. A place where homeless people can go to eat warm food, sleep, shower, get clothes, etc.

When: Wednesday, 25th 2017 (next day is a holiday!) - start around 7-8pm

Where: between & around U6 stations Thalia-, Josefstädter- & Alser Straße - above ground but below the “under”ground line U6!

Famous Hostels Challenge for Hostel Ruthensteiner, Vienna!

Famous Hostels  Maverick Hostel & City Lodge in Budapest challenged us, Hostel Ruthensteiner to be next in the EFH challenge 2017. See what we produced ;)
