Michael is pulled into the fog from one of the many nights spent experiencing near-death in a Fazbear location ( for now open as to whether or not it’s pre or post-scooping ), doomed to be a survivor in The Entity’s trials. Had he simply been on his own, any hope or motivation to survive would have been in just as short supply as it was in his life prior, but Michael is unlucky enough to have a reason to endure each trial. The spirits clinging to him. Although Michael has no way of truly communicating with them ( open as to who it is; likely Evan, Elizabeth, Charlie, or a combination ), he knows they’re present after being pulled through the fog with him, and if he were to give up… they would be tossed in the void along with him. Similar to the reason he had to keep going before, he fights for the restless souls he believes deserve it more than himself. That and a hell of a lot of spite. 

Although he isn’t the most skilled physically, he brings a handful of advantages to the table:

He will set fires, usually spreading off the wooden planks, to throw the killers off

Occasionally has extended hook time depending on his performance ( reflective of his remnant / inability to die )

May have aura-reading advantages in terms of where the killer is ( security guard… essentially the equivalent of watching the cameras )

May occasionally receive help from the technology-inclined spirits when repairing generators. This can also be a disadvantage, as if they are in distress, he will take longer to complete tasks. 

His killer pairing is Springtrap ( by default, fnaf 3-esque, obviously open to changes if writing with Williams ) and their setting is an amalgamation of different pizzerias. To pair with the rabbit suit, Michael wakes up with the Foxy mask, which he either wears over his face, to the side of his head, or hanging off of his belt.

1. this blog is 18+ only. don't expect to see smut necessarily, but i don't want to talk to minors here or expose them to heavy content. please be an adult!

i'm okay with personal blogs following me! if you have a roleplay sideblog, please let me know!! i will only be following other rp blogs through my primary to keep my dashboard topical to rp, but! if you want to send anons or DMs, don't feel discouraged! i love any & all interactions!

2. this blog is iconless! anya is a low-poly videogame woman and i don't want to find a faceclaim for her, even with the source of inspiration behind her appearance being an actual actress. i'm here to write, not to do fancy aesthetics!

3. mouthwashing is really content warning-heavy. the game contains themes of abuse, sexual assault, unwanted pregnancy, gore, suicide / suicidal ideation, death, cannibalism, and various other things. trigger warnings will be tagged. i expect you to do the same with common triggering topics.

i will not be directly writing any sexual violence or suicide on here, but it is a significant part of anya's story. terrible things have happened to her, and it may very well be mentioned. let me know if any of the triggers mentioned are absolutely avoidable for you and i will accommodate and keep the topics to a minimum!

4. keeping the above in mind, i don't do proship type stuff. i am here to respectfully portray and explore the horrors, not get off to it or glorify it. i am also cautious about writing with portrayals of jimmy, given what he did to anya. any interactions with jimmy writers will be done selectively at my discretion and must absolutely be plotted ahead of time. if you write jimmy, please ask before you send him this way!

5. plotting & OOC discussion is encouraged to write with me here. we need to at least establish a baseline between our characters before i can do improvised stuff, given the nature of mouthwashing's story. i will, of course, be defaulting to some kind of scenario where anya is alive because... well, that's kind of required for roleplay, most of the time. :-) please DM me to plot. don't be scared to approach me - if you want to write with me, i want to talk to you!

6. no AI generated images/writing. not sure why i even have to say that, but i know some people in the rpc have taken to using AI to replace their writing. don't do that with me

7. crossover, multi-verse, multi-ship, duplicate-friendly, and OC friendly. i will write with duplicates of the same character, including other anya writers.

Howdy! Allow me to introduce myself...

I'm Casper. I've been in and out of the tumblr rpc for a long time.

My first rp blog ever was @thegreatestjournalistofalltime , where I rp as Freddie Lounds from NBC Hannibal. I still write for her there, if you're interested in checking that out! I have also started a blog for Frederick Chilton at @b1oodandchocolate . I only have one writing partner for him so far, and it's a private rp off of tumblr, but I'm also looking for rp partners for him lol.

This blog is, obviously, for Danny Johnson (a.k.a. Jed Olsen, a.k.a. The Ghost Face) from Dead by Daylight. Scream has always been my favorite horror franchise, so, naturally, I wanted to pick him up on Killer in DBD. I adored him immediately. His lore, the flavor text on his cosmetics and add-ons, the cosmetics themselves... As I'm fond of saying, us Ghostie mains are well fed.

BASICS

NAME:        val AGE:         24 PRONOUNS:         she / they YEARS OF WRITING:          ok how specific are we talking. because i can say like circa 2010 i was on facebook writing bad twilight fanfiction + rp ( which then progressed into bad thg fanfiction ) or i can say elementary school and my little short stories i was always ad - libbing. regardless, it's definitely something i've had a knack for my whole life and it was literally just a matter of time before i found out about rp. and yes before you ask it was my personal facebook. when i was 11. that had all of my relatives added. yes they saw it. years writing on tumblr is different and i think i jumped ship and found out about tumblr rp around 2012 / 2013 and with that came my first formative decision which was to watch supernatural. you know where this is going. yes it was bad. no i'm not showing anyone.

REFLECTION

WHY DID YOU PICK UP WRITING?           i needed a hobby and had unrestricted internet access. i kind of answered this in the question before so jokes on me blah blah blah but without getting too personal i had a very difficult time in school with mental health and tumblr, known weird kid haven, was my little safe space where i could freely pursue what i enjoyed and was really my first venture into fandom spaces. i started in the supernatural rpc [ horror music ] and slowly meandered my way through book fandoms, to animanga, and finally settled on the video game community where i've been good and SAT for like six years now.

DO YOU HAVE ANY WRITING ROUTINES?          not necessarily. it's a miracle if i'm able to sit down long enough to open up my drafts and get going, but if i can lock in i'm all set. i find it hard to listen to music while writing because my brain cannot separate the two and i will accidentally start writing down the lyrics but i've never actually considered tuning into instrumentals so ,, thank you vos. writing that down............

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT WRITING?         stealing from vos in stealing answer solidarity but the rp community aspect. it can be awful and exhausting as some of us know good and well but it can also be incredible depending on who you surround yourself with. it's so validating finding people who share your little niche interest or even niche - er pairing ( hi vos ) and then to just completely devolve into sending memes and posts and screaming until 2 am in dms. i've met so many of my closest friends through rp, and stealing vos' answer again, but the characters i write who turn out the most developed are those who have been shared with friends. noctis would be nowhere near as fleshed out as he is if not for the people i met in the ff fandom all those years ago.

THREE THINGS YOU LIKE ABOUT YOUR WRITING.         oughhghh, um. i'm bad at taking compliments and even worse at complimenting myself so bare with me.

i've definitely grown a lot in terms of style and prose, and i'm actually pretty happy with what i'm able to spit out in terms of aesthetic styling as compared to even a few years ago. one of my biggest insecurities ( that still pops up here and again mind you ) was never being able to match length, and i was in the worst writers' block for a few years that i finally managed to escape out of around 2020 and now i can confidently say i'm writing more regularly than i ever have. so to answer the question: it has been my personal growth in my writing and it turning into something i can be confident in and proud of.

i really do enjoy the mundanity of editing my replies. i love to see the progress i make edit by edit and how cohesive and put together a piece of writing becomes the longer i work on it. i fully 100% devote myself to one reply at a time, which is a nightmare for quantity but sooooooo rewarding if it means i can put something out to the best of my ability and not stress myself out worrying about whatever else i owe. i am a self appointed slowpoke, and i've learned over the years to not let myself feel guilty about that because as long as it can become something i devote time on and put effort into, then it really shouldn't bother me how long it takes.

WHERE DO YOU DRAW THE MOST INSPIRATION FROM? this is definitely a muse - specific question since it varies from character to character. with noctis specifically, it's mostly music. i have a few different playlists for him after writing him for so long, and while i can't listen while i write they all offer different types of mood setting for him. other times, its media involving fantasy tropes or characters that have similar struggles to him, off the top of my head ( and something i connected early on ) is the character u.enoyama r.itsuka from given. there's a lot i could say here regarding which aspects i took inspiration from but the majority was the similar personality he has to noctis, the internal thought process he offered when i read the manga, and the way he struggled with his sexuality that struck the loudest chord. don't quote me on any of that since i haven't been caught up with given for like 5 years now but !!!!! yeah the end.

Friends in the MHA RPC/anyone interested in MHA RP, I have created a server. (Again. Yes. Stop booing me.) Its a multi-universe set up, so its a rp server that contains more than one verse to write in which are all pretty detailed because I am insane. A quick summary of universes contained in the server under the cut !! You should def like this post / DM me if you want an invite and I'll invite you if your muse is open. 🩵

Aside from the obvious canon universe, the AUs in the server currently are : Zombie Apocalypse ! Set before the Paranormal Liberation War, this verse explores an AU where the power struggle between heroes and villains is obliterated by a new and far more terrifying threat to society and human civilization as we know it. Inspired by horror survival series such as Resident Evil, Sweet Home, and Left4dead, this is My Hero Academia meets the Zombie Apocalypse in full form.

Future / Rehab verse ! This is a heavily canon based but AU verse set three years into the future of the current manga. AFO has been defeated, Tomura Shigaraki, Himiko Toga, Dabi and Spinner have all been apprehended, along with a majority of the other villains who participated in the war. They are now participating in a specialized rehabilitation program at the Tamashiro Psychiatric Facility.

Ouroboros / Ultra Rumble ! This verse takes heavy inspiration from sources such as Squid Game, Battle Royale, and MHA's own Ultra Rumble game as the name suggests. Much like the inspo sources, all of our favorite MHA characters have been ported into a strange pocket dimension to interact and sometimes battle for the entertainment of unknown overseers.

Other AUs I might also add include my Hero AU, Fantasy AU and the Furry ass Mafia AU but yeah, SO FAR, beside canon verse, those are the three in the server ATM. >:3

A really eye catching thing about your portrayal is the amount of research and attention to detail you put in your characters.

OC and Canon, you can immediately tell where you started putting pieces together and really dug deep on the time period and culture. Hell dude, you made whole ass structural world buildings for your OCs. Do you know how fuckin hardcore that is? I can give you a handful of AAA titles that slap a little plot here and there and go "oooOOOooo, it's a MYSTERY" as they continue to keep contradicting themselves.

Not only that, but the tag team between you and Egg bringing in a romantic relationships that deepens and changes y'all's character perspectives and priorities? (The WHOLE situation on why Tar has to say 'His Wife' as a form of protection, how now he would prefer to die peacefully instead of in battle, The out at Sea au, I JUST-)

Look, it's just very evident that you take a lot of time Screaming talking about your characters. And seeing that makes me excited for/about them, because now I go 'Huh, i never thought of it that way. Damn, they cookin' as I grab a snack and start reading.

This is so fucking sweet!!!! I'm honestly really happy that a lot of people seem to enjoy my ocs, it's honestly so refreshing coming from a rpc like L.eague where ocs were often overshadowed or treated as a burden / not to be interacted with and then coming to d.bd / horror in general where not only is the community a lot nicer I feel, there's so many wonderful ocs I get to read about and view from afar. It's nice to see people come together and be like "yeah if you don't interact with ocs you're really weird sorry", because I've never seen that??? Not that the l.eague rpc has been bad recently, it's come a long way, but it's been pretty dead since R.iot themselves said they don't care about their lore anymore and I can't blame people for leaving when the company that owns the game you enjoy doesn't care about it anymore.

But genuinely I'm just really happy that others can enjoy Tarhos as much as I do? I genuinely thing he's one of the more deep and complex d.bd has especially if you're willing to acknowledge the contractions in his lore and don't just take everything at face value. Things from his model obviously showing wounds and damage that his armor doesn't reflect and how that contradicts someone who would claim the fog is paradise to even within his lore itself there's a weird pull between him being described as this monstrous man who only wants to maim and kill vs him hating everyone around him for being cowards who lie to themselves about what they're doing.

It's really interesting and I think opens up a lot of doors to talk about how him being a slave and raised in this highly violent environment really shaped how he'd turn out and I still can't really tell how much of it was that upbringing vs how much of it was the entity. I tihnk about him a lot-

I do not roleplay in “character: text” or *action* format. I prefer to interact with people who roleplay paragraph style and have a basic grasp of grammar, punctuation, and spelling; I completely understand if English isn’t your first language, though!

I do not mind unplotted violence against my muses, but make sure you are prepared for the consequences. I love action and battle threads, but any permanent kills must be plotted.

MUN POLICIES.

Mun does NOT equal muse. Just because I, the mun, think or know something does not mean that my muses will. I’m an omnipresent narrator, they are characters in-universe. They each will have different thoughts and opinions than I will. It should go without saying that I do not condone everything any of my muses do.

I am a slow writer. I have college and several other things that take up my time, so I can’t be here twenty-four-seven! Also, my muse fluctuates. I may reply to something instantly if I have the muse for it, or I may get to it weeks later. I hoard drafts and asks like a dragon to get to them eventually! BUT feel free to nudge me if you want to remind me, I won’t mind!

Importantly, I match my partner’s energy. If someone frequently engages me to talk about our characters, I’m likely to do the same! Unfortunately, the same applies if we hardly interact or talk at all; I’m good at interacting and communicating first, but I have a limited pool of energy.

I do not ship romantically on this blog, minus with mixed-up-multiverse/gracie. I don’t mind others’ romantic content, I simply personally abstain from writing romantic ships due to being harassed over them in the past. However, I love familial ships, platonic ships, rivalries, work relationships, enemy/antagonistic dynamics, and relations that can't necessarily be defined with words!

ON FANDOMS & MEDIA.

Expect headcanons to sometimes fluctuate and also expect canon divergence. I also am keen on plotting when interactions take place, but no pressure!
