Hiya everyone! Sorry I've been gone for such a while! Haven't had much motivation to post.
Anyways, I've returned to tumblr with a redesign of my imsona!
Meet Harvey Hoptail, a zany hare!
Despite her zaniness, Harvey appears to be quite empathetic and cooperative, though does struggle to contain her so-called "wild side"
I have yet to settle on a home town for her, or a talent, but I hope to have one soon!
My next few posts will mostly focused on her. Once again, I'm sorry for being going for so long!

an AU where Leafpool isn't the mother of the 3! It's up to you who is instead! :0
(Gonna combine these and mix em up a little)
1. Squirrelflight moved to WindClan and after a year of living there peacefully, she ended up expecting kits. Ashfoot and Crowfeather constantly doted on her, even more-so when she gave birth to one tom, named Hopkit after Crow’s father.
2. Across the way, ThunderClan warrior Whitewing seems to be suddenly able to see and hear things beyond any cats comprehension. Often the clan believes she’s trying to make things up but her siblings stand loyal to the idea that their big sister has magic powers of some sort.
3. RiverClan’s medicine cat apprentice Willowpaw gets in a scuffle with ShadowClan and is able to overpower them all, despite having little warrior training. She’s just as confused as the rest of her clan.
4. Hopkit has troubles sleeping as he ages from kit to apprentice, being trained under Nightcloud’s watchful eye. He tells his parents that he has strange dreams about cats hes only heard in stories, such as Bluestar and the clan founders.
5. All three clans are concerned, so Leafpool escorts Whitewing to the medicine cat gathering and Barkface does the same with Hoppaw, Willowpaw concerned and hoping to get her own answers from StarClan.
6. The three of them are thrown into some sort of dream together, and are approached by mysterious figures who tell them about their destiny, and how dark things are coming to the clans.
7. Panicked, the three cats swear to each other that they’ll meet the next night on the gathering island and keep the secret of this from their clans. During this meeting they decide to keep it hushed, not wanting to spread fear through their homes.
8. A stranger appears in the forest, going by the name Sol and rising ShadowClan’s ranks alongside Blackstar. Concerned, Whitewing, Willowshine, and Hoptail continue to meet in secret and come up with a plan to stop the invader from ruining the clans
9. Using their abilities, the three cats break into ShadowClan’s camp and challenge Sol to a fight, but they’re outnumbered by his ShadowClan followers.
10. The leaders of their clans are upset and, despite everyone’s outcries, all three of them are exiled from their clans. But the darkness casting its shadow over the lake did not come from Sol, and the three stay in hiding as they wait for the moment that their clans need them again

The Perfect Tap Takeover
We’ve got SO much beer-relate greatness happening this weekend, the main decision will be deciding how to fit it all in.
So, if we were coming to Tap Takeover as visitors, what would we do on Saturday to have the greatest day of beer in our lives? Find out below.
(This is a fun event. But as we all know, too much alcohol is not fun. Take it slow, drink smaller measures, eat regularly and drink plenty of water. If you’ve already drunk enough, just taste.)
12:00: North Laine Brewhouse - Venue 1
Our first stop is the hub of the event – the North Laine Brewhouse – to pick up our wristband. We take some time to look at the first brushstrokes in the live art battle, play Human Whack-a-mole (yes, really) and get stuck into some beers from the 20-strong tapwall.
Drink: Five Points XPA, 4.0%
Do: Human Whack-a-mole
13:00: Four Pure at the Mash Tun - Venue 4
Onwards to the Mash Tun for the first of the Original Gravity tasting sessions. This one’s on Wylam and is a great way to get into the swing of things. We also try the Four Pure Lime Kolsch. Yes!
Drink: Limehaus - Imperial Lime Kolsch, 7.4%
Do: Original Gravity Beer School - Wylam tasting (13:30)
14:15: Two Tribes at the Mesmerist - Venue 13
On to the Mesmerist for some beer cocktails (Hoptails?) and laid back tunes from Vintage Re-mix.
Drink: Island Records Jamaica Porter Espresso Martini
Do: Vintage Remix DJs
15:15: Edge Brewing at the East Street Tap - Venue 14
We then swing by East Street Tap to try Barcelona’s finest Craft Beers and listen to Adrian Tierney-Jones give his tasting on “A Punk History of Beer” (15:30). Beery fascination.
Drink: Edge Appassionada - Passion Fruit Berliner, 4.0%
Do: Original Gravity “A Punk History of Beer”, wth Adrian Tierney Jones.
16:00: Laine Brew Co at the Black Lion - Venue 1
It’s on to the Black Lion to hear the Head Brewer of Laine Brew Co talk about Dirty Weekend, the “Brighton IPA” brewed with Brighton Rock and seaweed from the beach. While we are there we find a stand-up magician doing amazing things with beer mats.
Drink: Laine/Two Tribes Dirty Weekend.
Do: Stand-up magician at the Laine Brew Co Garden party.
17:00 Burning Sky at the Victory - Venue 10
Time to line the stomach, so we head to the Victory to try Burning Sky’s incredible Saison de Printemps with a famous Victory pie.
Drink: Burning Sky Saison Printemps - Spring Saison, 4.2%
Do: A delicious pie from the Victory.
18:00 Irish Collective at Fiddler’s Elbow - Venue 9
Suitably refreshed we carry on to the Fiddler’s Elbow to try some of the incredible Craft Beers now being produced in Ireland. We sit back and enjoy it with some live traditional Irish music.
Drink: Boundary Brewery Imbongo IPA, 5.5%
Do: Live Irish music
19:00 Gipsy Hill at the Western - Venue 8
A short walk up the hill to gets us to the Western and Gipsy Hill. We take a swift half of one of their cracking beers before moving on.
Drink: Gispy Hill Walloon - Belgian IPA, 7%
Do: Keep on movin'
19:45 Garden at the Hope & Ruin - Venue 7
A flying visit to check out Croatia’s finest. We gut stuck in to the vegan kebabs and Garden’s Citrus IPA before heading back down into the Laines.
Do: Vegan kebabs from Beezelbab
Drink: Garden, Citrus IPA, 7.2%
20:30: Moor Beer at the Earth & Stars - Venue 6
Just around the corner we stop off at the Earth & Stars to try some of Bristol’s best. After so much exciting keg beer we go for one of Moor’s fantastic options on cask.
Do: Briefly rest our feet
Drink: Revival - Modern Bitter, 3.8%
21:15: North Laine Brewhouse - Venue 1
We head back to the Festival Hub for a dose of Carnival Collective. Brighton’s incredible 20-piece brass band. We also head back to the tap-wall for another try.
Do: Carnival Collective Brass Band
Drink: Laine Brew Co. - Lemon & Lime Gose, 4.5%
22:15: Fierce at the White Rabbit - Venue 2
Following the brass band onslaught we duck around the corner to check out Fierce at the White Rabbit. The beers blow us away. Of only we had longer… maybe back tomorrow?
Drink: Fuego Feroz - Chilli Pale, 5.0%
Do: Something fierce and rabbity.
22:45: Wylam at Dead Wax - Venue 5
We finish the night at Wylam for “Top of the Hops”, where wannabe DJs from participating breweries go back to back on the wheels of steel. We’ve got just about enough energy to dance into the early hours.
Drink: Hickey the Rake - Limonata Pale, 4.2%
Do: Top of the Hops, Baby!
Sunday:
Cask hub at the Bath Arms - Venue 11 & Five Points at the Fountain Head - Venue 3
Even we couldn’t work out how to get all 14 pubs in one day, so on Sunday we wandered through the South Lanes to soak up the atmosphere, stopping at the Bath Arms for a delicious pint (or two) of cask beer. We finished our walk at the Fountain Head for a late Sunday Lunch and indulged in a game of Bingo with Boogaloo Stu! (Warning, this is unlike any game of Bingo you have ever experienced).
Drink: Railway Porter, 4.8%
Do: Bingo with Boogaloo Stu

Woman Orders $600 Meal For 1 At One Of Americas Most Expensive Restaurants, And Heres What She Gets
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to treat yourself to a $600 meal at one of the world’s best restaurants? While clearly no substitute for the real thing (the crucial senses of taste and smell cannot be replicated over the internet… yet), Imgur user Hoptail has allowed us to eat vicariously through her graphic descriptions and photos from a restaurant in San Francisco.
“So I got sent to San Francisco for work and I always make a habit of visiting the best restaurants when I travel. I’m not well-off by any means – I’m a college student. But I love good food and I save up for this shit. So please enjoy living vicariously through these photos of my dinner for 1 at Saison,” she said.
Taking us on a mouthwatering tour of the meal, which included an astonishing array of courses, Hoptail manages to convey her fine dining experience beautifully and without a hint of the snobbish tone usually reserved for such reviews.
Despite this, the young Aussie still copped quite a bit of flak on the net (inevitably) for her apparent extravagance in choosing to spend her money in such a fashion while a student, from vegans and from those vigorously opposed to the rampant restaurant photography that seems to have become the norm these days. “Documenting your food is becoming more and more acceptable now, even in high-end restaurants,” she explained. “I’m aware that I looked like an instawhore, but.. well, firstly, I don’t have Instagram, and secondly, if I’m going to spend that much on a meal, I want to be able to appreciate it later and share it with people who would find it interesting.”
Helpfully, Hoptail added a short FAQ at the end of her post, which she used to address some of these concerns in a satisfyingly forthright way. “For those of you with the disparaging comments about this endeavour not being worth it, or that I shouldn’t be spending my money on stuff like this if I’m not financially well-to-do. Kindly shove it up your arse. It’s my money, and this is what I like. I could be strung out on cocaine or have a crippling meth addiction. Cut me some slack. Go to Wendy’s if you WANT to, ain’t nothing wrong with that – you do you.”
Fair enough, Hoptail. Scroll down to check out her pics and descriptions below, and feel free to share your own fine dining experiences in the comments. Also feel free to discuss the merits or otherwise of spending a ton of cash on a single meal. Is it worth it for the experience? Let us know what you think!
“The most heavenly tea I’ve ever had in my life. Each little bushel had douglas fir, yarrow, chamomile, lemon balm, anise and hyssop all picked fresh from the restaurant farm and steeped in hot meyer lemon water”
“Up next, baby spinach, roasted kelp cooked in clarified butter (compliments of their jersey cow Bella) and topped with caviar”
“Turbot fish – 2 ways. Sashimi was amazing. The second preparation was grilled with a light soy glaze. Came with little heirloom tomatoes and some sort of deepfried flower”
“A Geoduck. If you’ve never heard of them before, Google it. They are freaky looking AF. Honestly, it wasn’t that good. Just kind of chewy and the marinade was super overwhelming I couldn’t actually taste the meat”
“This was, hands down, my favourite course. Fresh sea urchin on grilled bread that was basted in a sauce made of the off-cuts of the bread. It was SUPER creamy.. like the butter of the sea. So amazingly fresh and the sauce in the bread was incredible”
“That’s sliced radish on top (again from their farm) with Bella’s clarified butter”
“Underneath there was a sort of radish jelly vinegar reduction, the radish tops and cubes of marinated radish. It was super fresh and tart and a really good transition from the richness of the previous course”
“This is roasted pumpkin – 3 ways. The first to the left is kind of like agedashi tofu except it’s torn roast pumpkin topped with octopus flakes”
“Second preparation was pumpkin hung over their in-house fire and slow roasted for like 8 hours with a buttermilk cream. Caramelisation was incredible”
“Not sure about this one. Pumpkin puree in cold-pressed pumpkin seed oil. It felt like it was kind of added as an afterthought and was way too salty. I’m not even sure how I was supposed to eat it”
“This is antelope. It came with stuffed radicchio, herb salad and really nice biscuits and honey butter that tasted like pancakes”
“It was well-seasoned and had the texture of a cross between venison and beef and was perfectly medium-rare”
“Antelope bone broth with sage. It was actually really nice, but I needed to move on from Bambi’s relatives”
“This is smoked ice cream. Don’t ask me the science behind how one smokes ice cream – but it’s got something to do incorporating exotic wood embers into the cream. So incredible though, and came with life-changing salted caramel”
“Accompanying assortment of candied toppings (walnuts, peanuts, cacao nibs and pine nuts)”
“Dessert, yes. The best part. Praise Jesus, my palette has been blessed. Amen”
“Orange buttermilk creamsicle”
“Super smooth, really creamy and had hidden segments of candied oranges at the bottom”
“Blueberry sorbet on top of brandy macerated blueberries. Topped with more brandy. Good if you like brandy. I don’t”
“The Saison “Snickers” bar. This is an off-menu item that comes if you befriend the right waiter. Some sort of dark chocolate and nut brownie base, salted caramel centre, chocolate ganache and topped with 24K gold”
“Honestly, this was an awesome experience and, for me, well worth the money”
Almost finished… To complete the subscription process, please click the link in the email we just sent you.
