And why are ONLY black trans femmes, effeminate amab people and non-binary amab ppl the ones that are constantly misgendered by them?! How are y’all allowing them to say that a grown ass woman such as @hopegiselle is “cosplaying femininity”? Is this NOT TERF language? Is this not hurtful, violent and disgusting? Then why are we allowing this behavior to continue?

Please pay attention to the ways in which this person is constantly changing their narrative, co-opting marginalized identities and collecting faux traumatic stories like tokens in a game. This post is NOT a distraction but a band-aid rip to open a BIGGER & DEEPER dialogue that NEEDS to take place in black queer community. No Curry is NOT the first and they WONT be the last, if we continue to avoid the truth while upholding the lives of ppl who are NOT progressively positive for community!

Minnesota Trans Woman Violently Beaten By Over 30 People

Following the aftermath of George Floyd’s death, the U.S. went into shambles going into protests, breaking and burning buildings, and not violently beating on people - and this time, it happened to be a young trans woman to be beaten by a group of 30 people.

#YessGirl #IyannaDior, a trans women who resides in Minneapolis, Minn., was brutally jumped inside a convenient store by over 30 people.

It appears that the cause of the attacked begin in a minor car accidents shortly before Iyanna was attacked.

In the video, a woman - who appears to not have her hair done - was shouting about fighting someone, which she was referring to Iyanna.

The men that were in the video were shouting homophobic slurs at Iyanna as she was trying to get away.

Iyanna went live to give an update on her recovery from the injuries she suffered.
