If you want to get the REAL COVID transmission map (and not the one that leaders are using to downplay the pandemic), you can use this link: http://CovidTransmissionMap.com (Thanks to @hopebroidery for setting this up!)
via Lucky Tran
These are the CDC's own maps on the CDC site, this link just takes you directly to the URL that has the settings to enable this view embedded.
Note that this is also UNDER reported because home rapid tests are not counted. Most of us have been in the red all year.

If you’re on Instagram, you may have seen ads for Hopebroidery. I subscribed to their box for about a year, and really enjoyed it. One thing that stood out was the floss they use. It’s a brand I’d never heard of before: Sublime Floss.

And even though the kid and the parent signed it, they won't care about what's on it! @hopebroidery https://www.instagram.com/p/B1hthgAn4i6iYoUtm-hYrKSUgdX7OS2TW8CVlo0/?igshid=16o24oegd7vyj

I found this lady when I was mindlessly scrolling through Instagram and I instantly liked the way she did embroidery. She uses an embroidery hoop just like I did when I was starting to embroider my final piece, and a lot of her techniques were quite relevant to what I wanted to do! I was particularly inspired by a video where she is embroidering a rectangular shape. She made it look interesting with the way she placed her stitches and I embroidered lines into a large rectangular piece on my fabric in a similar way to her method. I feel that it looks more interesting than just a simple chain stitch.

A couple of days ago, I saw that @hopebroidery made this pattern in her stories and I asked if I could stitch it, here is the finished product! It’s really cute! Sorry it’s not the best photo, it’s late and I’m just too excited to not put it up!

It's been a long time since I embroidered anything, and I think it's time to jump back into it! I hope I haven't forgotten everything I learned... Here are a few of my favorite embroidery accounts -- give them a follow! @hopebroidery @prettystrangedesign (okay, she's technically a letterer, but she's been KILLING IT with the embroidery lately!) @ohmygollyembroidery @nerdsandneedles @hooklinetinker https://www.instagram.com/p/Bu5NLjUBD1i/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=mvf13t3cs45j

u are so so talented!!!! just saw your embroidery and im blown away. how long did it take you to do those? how did u plan it out?
Oh wow thank you so much ☺️
Each big project took a different amount of time, but I’d say between like, 20-50 hours? Niall was quick cause it was just filling space. Harry’s heart womb took forever because each stitch was very deliberately placed/I used a lot of types of stitches on that one.
For planning, I draw patterns in Procreate on my iPad. For some like Harry’s Rubik’s cube, it’s pretty straightforward tracing. The heart womb took a lot of finagling because it was originally a photo and I had to figure out how it would read as embroidery. Then I transfer the pattern to my fabric with a water erasable marker.
