I often give thanks to the Lord for the blessings He gives me, but recently I've learned that I need to give thanks for every thing that comes my way and in every situation, good and bad. The Bible declares that His ways are not our ways, and all things work together for good to those that love God so I'm learning to trust that things will work out in His Time. When we get to heaven, we'll finally understand it all, but for now, we need to give thanks in and for everything and always trust God. Monarch butterflies are so delicate and colourful! But even though they are delicate, they can travel about 3000 miles to wintering grounds as they cannot survive winter. They use the air currents and thermals to carry themselves over vast distances 🦋 Like the winds and the monarchs, God will carry us through our daily trials and struggles and bring us to where He wants us to be, if we will have faith and trust Him 💜 . Duranta, also called Golden Dewdrop, is an ornamental bush native to the Caribbean and Americas. Dainty lavender-coloured flowers blossom from the tips of the plant, which butterflies and hummingbirds love to drink from. When the flowers fall off, a bright orange berry forms. Although the plant looks beautiful, it has a hidden side - the unripe berries are poisonous and the plant is covered in thorns! Like how you can tell the type of tree by its fruit, the Bible says that you can know a person by their fruits too. The Banded Orange Heliconian or Orange Tiger is a beautiful orange and black striped butterfly. It has a wingspan of about 8 cm (3.5 inches) and can be found from Central America to the top of South America. Its brightly coloured wings warn predators away and the stripes help to break up its outline. They like to hang around wide open spaces and enjoy drinking passion flower nectar. They love to flutter around during warm sunny weather. The Lord is our Sun and we should come out of darkness and dwell in His wonderful loving Light ☀️ .
