"Raraaaaaa~!" When Namida had learned about the holiday that celebrates women's friendships, she had immediately thought about the familial friendship she had with none other than the girl who is the leader of the I Hate Okita Club: Kagura!☆ The moment Gintoki answered the door, Namida gleefully shoves him out of the way and hurries over to her lil sis. "Happy Galentine's Day, gal pal~! I gotcha something!" She offers her a box of macarons with suitable colors for the holiday like red, pink and white. "Oh yea. You're probably confused. Honestly I didn't know about this day until my co-worker told me about it." AKA Nyaruko. The cat rental girlfriend saw Namida as a friend and it kinda surprised her. She's the only one who honestly treats her as more than just someone who's in the same line of business... She hates her job. Let's not think about that today. "It's a day where we celebrate female friendships, so of course I had to come over and show my appreciation to you!"

She sets down her Kuromi bag on the table and pulls out a few items for the occasion. "Actuallyyyyyyy~ I was hoping I could give you kinda like a beauty treatment?" Namida raises up a box of My Melody and Kuromi pink nails."Starting with this! Ta-daaaaa~! Oh please let big sis do your nails! I'm just gluing them on you, but you deserve to be treated like a queen today." She really wanted to show Kagura how grateful she is to have known her by just having her relax and let Namida do all the work to make some magic happen. When she was given the OK, Namida's grin brightens and she goes to work on Kagura's nails.

"There! All done~! Aaaawww they look so cute on you! Oh but wait! There's one more thing I still wanna do for you. I have an idea in mind for your hair." If she'll allow her, Namida would make two braids with small heart clips decorating them all over. Kinda like Sonia from Pokemon Sword and Shield. All the while humming the same melody Kamui would hear. The finishing touch to her hair was a cherry blossom near her temple and then Namida claps. "Wow, Kagura! You look so pretty~! Perfect Galentine core!" She stands up and thinks about taking a picture, but something still felt missing. "You know what? Let's go shopping. Let's get you a cute outfit to go with your look! We could visit the arcade room too while we're at the mall... I wonder if that claw machine got fixed." She was reminiscing to the time Kamui smashed the glass to get a plushie Namida wanted and awkwardly laughed.

Funny how when they arrived to the mall, the music that was playing was Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. How fitting! She browsed inside a store with Kagura to look for the perfect outfit to match with her current style. There was a boy who thought Kagura looked really cute and was about to open his mouth to ask her out after approaching her, but an outfit is slapped against his face thanks to Namida and he falls to the floor flabbergasted. Namida beaming brightly at Kagura; as if the degenerate worm on the floor didn't exist. "Look! This one's pink and red with some heart embroideries on it. You should definitely get this one~!" Of course, Namida takes the price tag and pays for the outfit after Kagura tries it on. She even captures a picture of her so Kagura could show off her look on Twitter or something (Kamui better not be mean on Kagura's pics NAMIDA DID HER BEST) and then one with her to remember this Galentine's Day.

"Let's go to that arcade room! Oh but... I just wanna say, when you feel overwhelmed, remember you can come to me about anything. I hope you also believe in yourself as much as I believe in you. I'll always have your back." Namida smiles as warmly as a caring big sister does and pats her head. "Eheheh. Sorry for patting your head. It's a habit I do with my youngest sister back where I was from."

''. . . . . Huh?'' She picked up her head from the sofa she had been laying on, rubbing her eyes sleepily when hearing the nickname being called. Hues of blue blink in confusion, then coming face to face with Namida.

The confusion only increases when she was wished a Happy Galentine's day. Didn't Namida mean Valentine's day? But, that was for her and Kamui. Although, the confusion was soon cleared up once Namida explained the difference in holidays. ''Ooooooh.'' Her lips shaped into an 'o' shape once it clicked, then she'd smile. ''That's an Earth holiday I didn't hear about yet...!'' Maybe she'll tell Soyo about it too, since Soyo was another important friend of hers. And she never mentioned it herself. Her eyes would light up when holding the box of macaroons, not wasting a moment to take a few to stuff her face.

''Mmmm!'' She was completely ignoring the sulking Gintoki in the back, who wasn't getting anything since he's a poor, broke, deadbeat anyway. Kagura does watch Namida curiously though when she put down her Kuromi bag. She kind of wanted one of those. Namida always had the cutest accessories and outfits, the younger Yato kind of pouts a little, wishing she had more stuff that was similar. Although, the pouting turned into excitement when the sanrio themed nails were pulled out.

''Those look sooooooo cute! Yes! Yes! Yes!'' Kagura couldn't wait, and eagerly sat there letting Namida do her nails. She loved having girly days like this with her. It was so fun! Giggles would spill out as she watched her nails being delicately done, and once they were she kept looking them over, extremely satisfied with the result. ''I love it big sis! I loveeeeee it!''

She would look up curiously when Namida mentioned doing something to her hair, not minding in the least. Since she trusted her choices in style. Kagura tried to stay there as still as possible to not interfere with what Namida was doing, despite her excitement overtaking her. She was a ball of grinning joy. Once her hair was done, Kagura took out her phone immediately to check and gasped.

''This looks INCREDIBLE! You're so good at this stuff. I hope I can be this good, just like you.'' She was admiring her appearance, really loving the accessories and dying to show this off. One surprise came after another, since it seems like she was being spoiled today! It wasn't even her birthday! But it felt like it! ''The mall? Ooooh, oh yeah. The claw machine your boyfriend broke. Right?'' Kagura jokingly rolled her eyes, but she'd cling onto her big sister's arm tightly. Very much looking forward to the day. ''Yes, let's gooooo! I love spending time with you!''

Days out with Namida were always the best. Especially when there were no OBLIVIOUS idiots to interfere!

The song that played at the mall was super catchy that she'd end up singing it to herself. When Namida brought her an outfit, she beamed happily. ''It's so cute! Yes!'' Although, she'd notice the guy on the floor after, a look of disgust flickered within her eyes before kicking him away. ''Ew.'' Kagura hadn't even noticed him before, too focused on Namida. She'd make a cute pose in the picture Namida took of her too, eager to show off her look online and to Soyo. Definitely not trying to impress her or anything.

Kagura giggles happily to herself when texting on her phone, the rabbit charm dancing along with her as she couldn't keep her excitement in check for a moment. At least until Namida caught her attention, then patted her head. She didn't mind head pats from people she cared about. The words spoken to her made her a little emotional but she was trying to not bawl like she did on her birthday. She looped her arm with Namida, just holding her close, hiding her face into her arm.

''You miss your other family a lot, right...? I think it's unfair because.... they probably miss you too. But if you leave... I'll also miss you.... I don't want you to go.'' Kagura knew her words were quite selfish, but Namida's become really important to her. ''But... no matter what happens big sis, I love you a lot...! You know.... you make me feel really happy, and warm... like mami did.'' She would notice her own grip getting too tight, and immediately loosened it.

''Sorry.'' Her lips uplift into a smile, looking up at Namida. ''But also....! It's unfair big sis did so much and I did nothing in return so at least let me make something for you! It'll be really tasty, I promise!'' Well, she wasn't sure about that but she'll put her hard work into it! Kagura went and tightly hugged Namida, feeling grateful to have someone like her around. Someone so kind, and caring.....

She never wanted Namida to leave.

🎻 “Neil being concertmaster this year means that he now has a clear vision of Andrew in his principal cellist spot. Today he has chosen to abuse this. Over the drone of Wymack giving an obligatory basic music theory lecture he stares at Andrew, blue eyes digging daggers into him. Andrew decides he is not going to look at him and pointedly stares down at his music stand”

there are quite a lot of moonie-isms in and we could be forever future bound. i was a cellist in my high school orchestra like andrew, though i was nowhere near as good as andrew in this fic 😂. all of the classical music pieces i mention or have the characters play are all pieces i’ve either (attempted) to play myself or pieces i enjoy listening to. andrew’s college app experience and existential angst about the future is based on a combo of what my poor little sister is going through right now with her college apps and what i myself felt in my senior year (of both high school and college, rip). this bit i chose to highlight is based on actual shenanigans i used to get up to during orchestra class with my friends in the violin section, which included our concertmaster. i was 2nd chair cellist, which meant i was sitting in the front row and had an extremely clear view of the violin section, so there was a lot of silent communications done during class 😂

it’s me, i’m the city girl that likes to ooh and aah over fields and animals like i’ve never seen them before 😂. the vibe i was going for in i try to live in black and white, but i’m so blue is what summer break in an asian household would be like, which i based on weeks of summer breaks spent with my own asian grandparents. this included refusing to use air conditioning even though it’s really hot, going on long drives, and eating bingsoo, or baobing as is in the case of this fic

kevin is such a good character to write greek mythology references into his pov cuz it’s totally plausible he would be very familiar with them as a history major (speaking as a history major myself..though i'm also a greek mythology lover so i'm biased 😂). as soon as i saw the prompt of “kevin day with hanahaki” i knew i wanted to reference the hyacinthus myth cuz it’s such a good framing device for kevin and how he views his position with riko in this fic: a mortal subject to the whims of the careless god that has taken him as his companion. the title, in your sad wound (my own guilt), is even taken from the part of ovid’s Metamorphoses that contains the hyacinthus myth

The suns have been shot, systematically plucked from the sky and destroyed. This one is the last one left, glowing weakly in your arms”

this passage from i am a wreck is a reference to the story of hou yi shooting down the suns, which was actually one of the earliest chinese myths i can remember learning in my childhood. iirc it’s even confirmed that the sunshot campaign in mdzs is named so as a reference to this myth cuz of the wen clan using suns as their symbol

🖊️ “That evening, you lie on the floor belly down and write a letter. You write slowly and carefully, your neatest writing yet. You feel like those girls in your school that write in curvy bubble letters, and for a moment you’re embarrassed”

idk if this is a thing girls still do or not but when i was in middle school, it felt like suddenly all of the girls i knew were writing in super neat bubble letters. when i was trying to portray the middle school aaron vibe for the beginning of now i'm third in the lineup (to your lord and your savior), this part of my own middle school experience slipped in

🍲 “Tonight Renee chops tofu and vegetables to be sautéed in teriyaki sauce, whisks together egg and a mirin and soy sauce mixture to make tamago, and boils miso soup on the stove. please that's completely understandable jsjsjjs. who is NOT insanely in love with louis ??? common people is such an amazing song, i play that song everyday in the morning ! hopefully my man includes india date(s) for fitf world tour !!!! yeah pal same, i wanna experience otb live wanna see the whole place lit up in rainbow lights and everything. it must be the most beautiful thing to experience and i am very sure of it

i don't listen to mitski a lot but i have a few songs by her that i love. she's amazing 🤩 i haven't heard of the other two, i will check them out !!! i don't listen to dua lipa but for sure she makes some very catchy songs. i am usually forced to listen to it when i go back home because my brother listens to her a lot.

i listen to A LOT of different artists which is a problem because i love these lot and i can't stop talking about them if i start 💀 so I'll just tell you a few !! there is this band called 'peach tree rascals' their music !! chefs kiss 💋 they are an indie band, the music is amazing. i think you'll love mariposa (their famous song) and yesterday (recent one). next is Vaundy !! he is a japanese artists; when i listen to his music i feel very useless because he is a university student making amazing music and then there's me who is simply just existing 💀 i love odoriko by him, it's amazing and napori is a vibe. of course i listen to one direction and solo works of the boys !! and if you like metal you should listen to BABYMETAL, they are my favourite metal band. headbangeeeeeerrrrrr and gimme chocolate!!! are amazing songs to discover them. aside from these languages i listen to tamil, telugu and malayalam songs a lot too <3 usually i listen to these when i stay up late, it's just a thing i do hahaha

ooohh interesting question !! i don't think i hate any celebrity. hating someone is just time and energy consuming :/ i dislike a few like i just ignore them, simply don't care. i don't really like ts if that answers. what about you 👀

Title: Cude Real Spare Fox Clothes

Here’s my secret art trade this year 2021 with my A-Pal, @bryan360 this February.

Both Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day was already the rear view, so now I’m celebrating my HTF OC Cude’s 3rd year anniversary.

Cude 🐰🤖: YAAY! 😄🥳🎉

And what better way to celebrate, than a gift from his fox friend Sam. And his gift of choice for him was his extra spare clothing, both normal and autumn/winter clothing!🧢👕👖🧤🧣😊

Much I did to my Speedster Twins OC (back in Jan), Cude’s is “officially” owns Sam’s spare clothing without using 👖🌟“Magical Clothes Drawer”👕🌟. And from the looks of it, I think he looks adorable; not to mention, adding a “Fabric Softener with Expanded Formula”🌸🧴 to his spare Sam’s clothing and he should hugging himself from his warm softening sleeves, and a beautiful yet adorable scented smell.😊💚

Cude 🐰🤖: Indeed, I can feel the warm inside of my body, from my spare Sam’s clothing. Hope my pal Sam will have the same thoughts from my spare clothing that he owns.🥰🤗

I’m sure he will. 🙂

Cude 🐰🤖: Spot and Riya are gonna love my spare Sam’s clothes, and I’ll try on some of their spare bunny clothes as well.😉
