time to start planning that scout hoodie [all my technical notes and pretending to be smart under the cut]

not sure if it would be better to work this raglan or panelled, cuz the patterns on the sleeves would make sense raglan but it might be a bit easier to make the sleeves + front and back in sections ,':/👆

definitely gonna go with a motif/applique for the back patterns, embroidery wouldn't look quite right there. however, the baseball stitching on the sleeves would be a lot better embroidered, even though itll be time consuming

not sure how to do the hood, i haven't made a hoodie before so it might be good to study some other patterns first

I'll def buy some of those pound plus mega-skeins from Joann fabrics, although im not sure if the base colors are red + yellow, red + orange, or red + goldenrod rn. maybe ill swatch it out, see what works with what
