Trekking across the mountain ranges separating Blackthorn from Mahogany was always a difficult task. Even some of the most fit and in-shape trainers choose to travel via the ice path. However, Clair wasn't much for the bitterness of the caves and prefered a challenge. And so she finds herself climbing, almost barely losing her footing, up the mountains until finally she reaches the top. 

Hunched and staggering to catch her breath, the dragoness breaths the fresh air. Standing upright again, it is then that she notices someone else taking in the unspoiled beauty of the mountaintops – a charizard– and she smiles ever so slightly.

Cautiously, Clair approaches the beast..

As the stream of fire honed in towards his person, Wukong did not budge. He welcomed the fire's power with its full force, his grin widening as if its heat rejuvenated him. With every second it drew closer, Wukong seemed to grow more and excited until the fire finally bathed him with its wrath.

And that was when he got only cockier as if becoming a 3 foot tower of arrogance.

"That it!?' Asked the Infernape as he brushed himself off. Although the Charizard was a powerful combatant, Wukong was tempered to these fires. Not a day went by on his travels that he did not suffer far worse, so perhaps that was why he was grinning.

"C'mon!” Called the Infernape as he held up his thumb, only for it to then point downward to the charred soils below. “You're gonna need more than that if you're gonna improve! Stop usin' just anger to attack! Use your pride! Your passion!"
