Someone taught himself a new trick! The Woo prefers fresh water out of the tap and will jump into the tub and ask to have the water turned on so she can have a drink...look who has been paying attention! Perun jumped into the tub and asked, just like Woo does...and helped himself to a nice drink of fresh cold water when Mama turned on the tap! Clever clever boy! Little Dare got to meet her big brother today - Perun slipped past the gate behind me and Mesoh let him come say "Hi"! Perun was FASCINATED (and very very deferential!!) by Dare, and I'm pretty sure Dare was equally intrigued. I'm positive these two will be good friends when Dare gets a little older, but for now....that's about as much interaction as they get. Mesoh let him have a few good sniffs, then told him in no uncertain terms that his welcome was worn out. Just for shits-n-giggles, we instinct tested Perun for herding today....little man has some MOVES in him! For a "non-herding breed", hims did pretty damn good! Instructor says he's in the top half of potentials she's tested, and considering she mostly tests herding breeds, that's saying something. He has a concept of the bubble (bounces off it, but at least acknowledges its existence), and did some really nice covers on his own. He definitely shows interest in the stock - more because they are acting like prey than because he recognizes them as such, but it's much better than some, who never even acknowledge the fact there is stock in the pen with them. Don't know if I'll be going further with him in this - I'm still training Mesoh and I'm pretty busy! - but this was FUN!
