A smirk naturally tugged at the corner of his lips from the femme. Her words sparked an interest in Cyrus as he slowly moved his frame to get a better look at her. "Is that so? Well, why don't you come down here and get a better look? I promise not to get you wet." He chuckled as he inched to allow her some room close to him.

“what   can   i   say   …   i'm   fascinated   by   men   that   work   with   their   hands   all   day.   seems   like   you   really   know   what   you're   doing   under   there.”   dakota   rasped   and   chewed   on   the   end   of   the   pencil   twisting   in   her   hand.   she   shoved   her   hands   in   her   jean   pockets   and   approached   him.   “guess   i   wouldn't   mind   learning   how   to   fix   a   leaky   faucet.   would   save   me   money.   that's   for   fuckin'   sure.   everything   breaks   around   here.”

Pax cared a lot for her friend, and she absolutely despised their ex-partner. Seeing her agree with Pax only lightened up the mood for the brunette. Taking a sip of her strong cocktail, she smiled. Pax was the type of person who always needed sugar to drink alcohol; to her, it was juice—it was perfect. "Always up for more. We are going to have. long night ahead of us." She felt her smile grow. "How many until you feel ready to groove?"

jules lets out a bitter laugh, before nodding in agreement. "you're right." she didn’t come all the way out of her apartment to this party, just so she can continue to rot in misery. clinking her glass with pax's, she downs the tequila in one go, taking a moment to savor its sweet burn over the column of her throat. "i wasn't sure about that colour, but it was surprisingly good." she comments, giving an approving nod. "should we order more?"

A small smile curling on her lips, she nodded. "Plans were going to be wine and cheese." She laughed softly. "So your idea. I would love to join you."

"I asked if you were busy tonight. I have an event at the store and was wondering if you wanted to join?"

Fake gasping at the response, she held a hand to her chest. Soon she chuckled, shaking her head. "Oh, come on. It was just a small water fight." Shrugging, she held onto her bucket. "I didn't think you were that much of a sore loser."

Flashing her a warm smile, he nodded slowly. "Then I shall do it. There isn't a need to worry, dear. I've got you. Always." He leaned to give her a peck. "The only remaining question is when."

Frowning at the outcome, he shook his head, "You know very well he won't be happy to hear about that." Jun was merely just the messenger today as the boss preferred to keep himself separate. "How long are you going to take? The interest is going to increase."

to say that it has been a tough few weeks would be an understatement, but to have him at her doorstep for rent only makes her current week worse. she knows she wouldn't be in such a predicament if she had made better decisions and the guilt weighs heavily on her. jia's gaze is both afraid and remorseful as she speaks. "i know. i just don't have it right now.” her voice is low, defeated. “i need more time. i'm sorry."

"Fantasy? Is that really what you think for the last few months?" He frowned as he shook his head. "It was real to me at least. So what are you really trying to tell me?"
