She looked towards her roommate shrugging as a smile curled on her lips. "Hm? Is that so?" She teased the other as she mocked him lightly. Rolling her eyes at his actions she found it hard not to laugh. "I never will hesitate to believe you won't be the louder one between us." Wiggling her brows she sat deeper into her chair as she looked between them and her laptop. "Okay, okay. You win. I will put the computer away. But I do need to get this finished by tomorrow. You got it?"
"I think being around actors on set has taught me to pretend to seem relaxed," he said with a smile, shrugging his shoulders nonchalantly before he gasped in mild surprise. "I don't do either of those!" His smile turned into a light laughter, keeping his eyes on Akemi. "I am loud though. Come on, Emi!" He almost whined. "It's our favourite day of the week, also known as me taking you to watch a surprise movie. You've been working on that thing for hours now. Please?"

PROMPTS FROM WICKED * assorted dialogue from the screenplay, adjust as necessary
it's good to see me, isn't it?
no need to respond. that was rhetorical.
because there has been so much rumor and speculation... innuendo, outuendo... let me set the record straight.
why does wickedness happen?
that's a good question.
like every family, they had their secrets.
one thing led to another, as it so often does.
i'm right here. i always will be.
you want to see something wonderful?
what have you done this time?
now you've made your sister cry.
you see... it couldn't have been easy.
as you can imagine, i have much to attend to.
is it true you were her friend?
you must understand, it was... a long time ago.
remember, it's not goodbye, it's farewell.
they're going to miss me so much.
you know what i believe? strangers are just people i've never met.
what? what are you staring at? do i have something in my teeth?
let's get this over with.
i for one am sorry that you're forced to live with this.
it's my intention to major in sorcery.
perhaps i could help.
offering to help someone you don't know with a skill you don't have. i'm sure everyone's duly impressed.
i could care less what other people think.
i doubt that's true.
i'll miss you.
if anything should happen to her...
you can of course come visit me whenever you want!
how tragically beautiful you are.
i just need to find my room.
this was my chance. my new start.
magic is merely the mind's attempt to wrap itself around the impossible.
i shall tutor you privately.
thank you for covering for me.
how long have you had this talent?
if you can learn to use your powers in the right way...
do you really think this is fair?
i'm just shutting the door.
i saved you some space, by the way.
how did you do it? tell me.
i can keep a secret.
some of us are different.
we cannot escape the past.
the past helps explain our present circumstances.
who is responsible for this?
it's all right. i have no friends.
once you learn to harness your emotions, the sky's the limit.
this is much bigger than just some words on a chalkboard.
is this how you go through life, running amok, nearly trampling anyone in your path?
i guess there's a first time for everything.
were you looking for something? or someone?
i met the rudest person last night.
what do you do for fun around here?
i would do anything for you.
it was nothing. i love helping others.
i'm about to have the happiest night of my life!
i don't follow.
what's in the punch?
i don't feel sorry for you! you're great!
my personal opinion is that you do not have what it takes.
i hope you prove me wrong. i doubt you will.
i can't watch.
it's not like it's your fault.
may i cut in?
that was your very first party?
you tell me a secret.
you really don't have to do that.
i can't wear things like that anyway.
pink goes good with green.
i'm afraid it's out of our hands.
you're not being told the whole story.
somebody's got to do something!
you think i'm really stupid, don't you.
you don't need to be scared of me.
you think i want to be this way?
so i should just keep my mouth shut? is that what you're saying?
you're bleeding.
this is your chance to make good.
i've heard so much about you.
i am changing my name.
don't you cry. you're going to have the wonderfullest time.
something bad is happening to them. they need you.
what did i tell you?
you've known all along... from the moment you met me.
you must trust me.
that's why i need you.
i meant every word about you having a home here.

"Then can you explain how everyone won't stop talking about it?" His arms crossed over his chest. "This doesn't just affect me. You know it."
" i didn't tell anyone ... i swear ... "

Roxy's head bounced up to the other's voice. Roxy's attention wasn't fully focused as her mind was focused on the store items. "Hm?" Pausing for a second she looked towards the other. Looking at her you could tell it took a couple seconds for the words to formulate. "You sure this gift is going to be good enough?" Slightly worried about getting the wrong gift, but she trusted them.

chris pointed to the aisle left of him, without looking up from what he was doing behind the counter. “ vinyls are on that back wall. they’re organized alphabetically by artist, ”

Michael's face was very expressive as he listened to Andre. "Before?" Humming softly as he noticed the other's actions. "You're messing with me?!" He raised a brow as a smile grew on his lips. "Don't play with my feelings like that. You know I would love that."
"well, taking care of the animals is the usual part. i did it even before the whole sanctuary thing." he said, leaning a bit on the chair, talking about it still left a sour taste on his mouth. "dealing with the visitors, the doctors, the administration part of it is the sucker. the animals are great, you should come see them, i can dress you up as a caretaker and they will crawl on you."

Aubrey always enjoyed the time the pair shared together; he had always been like a brother she wished she had. Her eyes focused on watching the band as her smile enlarged. "It totally goes both ways," she chuckled as she mimicked his actions. Laughing softly at her comment, she shrugged. "Awful? Oh god. How awful are we talking?" Her brows raised as she stayed curious. "I'm all ears."
it had been awhile since logan and aubrey had gotten to sit down and talk to each other. he had been so busy with the upcoming releasing of the album and there was this whole thing with his family coming up. he just didn't want to mess anyone with his family, but he did feel bad keeping it away from them. "oh no, they are the good ones for keeping up with me!" he joked, raising up the empty glass, laughing right after. "oh, this seems exciting yeah." he rolled his eyes. "wanna know something awful?"

As they stood staring at the other they swallowed hard. "Did I tell you that I miss you?" Speaking fast as their gaze avoided the space around them.

Reassurance wasn't on her list of things she'd expect from Holden. It was a change. "Right." Biting her own tongue she did realize she's always acted so defensive around him. Sighing she gave a light nod. "Thank you." She managed to spill out as she mimicked his smile. "I didn't expect this help. It's quite nice of you to do."
Holden looked down at her with a raised brow at their warning, a faint, knowing smile tugging at the corners of his lips as she tapped against him. “Play nice. I know when to tread lightly,” he said, crossing his arms over his chest. “You need my help? I’ll play the part. No tricks. No strings. I don’t make promises I don’t intend to keep.”

She knew he was right - it was going to be rather easy for her yet she was anxious. "It should be easy, I agree. I just feel like it's a make or break moment." She admitted as she looked over towards them with soft eyes. "I heard there might be some big people coming and that they're looking for makeup artists for shows and for personal artists. It's a lot to think about."
"I do remember. I'm just uncertain as to why you are so nervous about. Isn't it a fairly easy shoot?" He questioned, curiously. Maybe there was more to it than he realized. "Why don't we talk through the entire thing. Maybe it'll put you at ease."

Brows furrowed together as she gave a short laugh in response. "Well, sweetie it's just not working for you." It felt too odd to her to hear a comment which didn't anger her so much. "We should get this on recording. I doubt anyone would believe me if I told them about what you've said."
"You say harsh, I say brutally honest. It's a new thing I'm trying out." Harper answered, tone lighthearted. "I'll admit, I don't make a usual habit out of it, but hey, when you're right, you're right. You have good instincts, and I should honor that as much as possible."

Raising a brow at his actions she hummed softly, "don't worry I was fully aware. You made quite the impression on many people. So don't worry about that system of yours." Wiggling her brows as she shrugged her shoulders. She had heard stories of how he reacted and treated people in the past - yet it never frightened to try. "I understand that, but there should also always be boundaries. Don't you think? I'm pretty sure someone's best friend should be one."
"Well, yeah." He spoke as a matter-of-factly. "I thought that was a given when you got involved with me. Making a lot of mistakes is default in my system, I'm afraid." Thomas didn't want to come across as an asshole, but he could never help the mild disregard in his tone when confronted in this kind of situation. "It's supposed to be fun, Rarity. No need to be like who did this, or who did that, right?"

She wasn't sure if this was going to be another ploy to make a fool of herself but she liked a good challenge. "Is that really so?" She paused as she gave him a good look, "if I find out this is some way to screw with me. I will make you regret it." Taking a step towards them to tap on their frame. "I mean it."
"I enjoy seeing you,” Holden shared in a honest statement. “In which state.. that part doesn't concern me much. I'm here to offer my services with an olive branch, not start petty fights." he continued.

Her hands ran through her locks as she sighed. She knew that Emily wasn't incorrect and she did appreciate them for coming. "I should have reminded you, that is true. We both know your track record." She laughed nervously as she shook her head. "But okay, since you're here finally. Can you spare the time to help me with this event?"
"I know, I know." She repeated, sounding genuinely apologetic. "But I'm here now, so it's the thought that counts?" Emily simply smiled widely, as bubbly as she always was. "You know I'm forgetful, Pey. Very forgetful."

Each word she said brought both pain and happiness to his heart. He loved her deeply and felt stuck on how to emote it towards her. "Then we shall live our own life. A life that is ours." He gave her hands a light squeeze. Memorized by her hues he took a deep breath. "I want to make sure I never live a life without you. You're my present. My future. You're everything I could need."
She looked to his hands and thought for a moment before taking them with hers. "My life was terrible long before I met you, Raythe." That's the truth and there's nothing to be done that change it. "My life would be more terrible without you in it."
