Re: last titanic photo (I run titanic confessions) - the only other photo I can think of off the top of my head is the Odell one but either way the one I posted by Morrogh appears to be taken after Browne's. Would be interested in your input :)

from what I know, the Odell photograph was taken in Queenstown. (and its my impression that it is the most well known as the “last known photo”, and that’s probably why I added the tag I did)

your photo, taken by Morrogh, as you said I checked and its definitely after Odell as it was taken in Crosshaven just after the departure from Queenstown

the Brown photograph I know was first as it was taken in South Hampton

so the order of the photographs would be: Brown, Odell, Morrogh being the last known. you were right!

I’m very clumsy.

I finished my physiotherapy sessions on my wrist yesterday! yay,  still not 100%, but it’s better.

I speak 4 languages.

I’m lefty.

I dropped out college once. Here if you change majors, you have to basically start over since you chose that upon your entrance. You take the exam for an spot on said major. And the uni I was did not have the major I wanted to change to... fun times, having to start all over again. Studying like crazy, taking several exams, since here you have to take an exam per university you are applying for. 

An art professor made fun of my drawing, but gave me A+ for my complete work that semester and even told me she would totally hang one of my pieces in her living room LOL. And only another guy got that grade and he knew how to draw and she loved his style, so go figure!

If you like Armando Iannucci, you should also check out 'The Armanda Iannucci Shows' which was also excellent (albeit very, very different to TToI and Veep) :)

Just Wikipedia’d the show, and it sounds very entertaining. Surreal sketch comedy with a particular philosophical theme or recurring idea per episode? I’m in.

April 10th, 1912 - RMS Titanic departs from the port of Southampton, England and begins her maiden voyage. She was the largest ocean liner at the time, superseding her sister ship, the RMS Olympic in size and luxury. Commanding the liner was Edward J. Smith, a veteran captain of the White Star Line.

On board were some of the most prominent figures of society, such as millionaire John Jacob Astor IV, journalist William T. Stead, feminist Helen Churchill Candee, and actress Dorothy Gibson. Also aboard was Thomas Andrews, the ship’s architect and J. Bruce Ismay, managing director of the White Star Line.
